Thais did not have to voice her concerns, Xander could feel them. Her body told him she was not focused on his ministrations. Xander looked up at her.

"He won't feel a thing you know. I may be a cruel man, but I am not lacking in certain compassions. His only crime was being born a Blackwell. Perhaps I should not have shared my plan with you. I am certain you did not expect your innocence to be so fractured on this trip to Indupar. On the part which troubles you I apologize, but on the parts you enjoy," his lips moved to hers and he pressed a kiss to her lips. "put your mind there."

Xander then did something he rarely did. His mind pressed into hers, and he overwhelmed the negative thoughts by opening himself to her as he made love to her. It was something a force user could do, share what they felt with the other in a way which made the ecstasy of the moment so much more potent. Potent in a way that Xander hoped it would take her mind of what troubled her.

For his part, Xander would remain with her until morning. When Thais's servants came to wake her they would find her with a man they did not know, and there would be no question as to what had transpired. As Xander drifted to sleep with his lover in his arms, he expected a shriek to be the sound which woke him in the morning. As soon as the news came of the deaths, Xander would claim his throne, and depart for Isis with Thais. Tmoxin would be returned to her company tower as her part in this was over.

[member="Thais Kallisto"]

Somehow Xander knew what she was feeling - that she pitied the young Prince, likely dead around the same time that the pair of nobles would be physically spent. How could he detect this? Was it coincidence? She was about to speak, but he kissed her, and suddenly, her mind was silenced, filled with other thoughts and emotions. Distracted now by Xander's possession of her psyche, she was lost in the moment again, and desire was all she felt.

Whispered to him in the throes of passion were the words, "Come to Isis tomorrow, and I will show you riches beyond belief. Riches that befit a King of your stature."

To Thais, the material wealth of her planet was appealing, but if that didn't interest the assassin, a different type of prosperity was being offered. The power and prestige of the Isis monarchy.

That night, Thais thought slumber would evade her, but she actually fell into the deepest sleep, and the both were roused by her confused servants in the morning. Of course, they took direction from Thais when she protested that Xander was the King. The Palace was thrown into chaos, and her courtiers reacted by getting her quickly dressed and onto the Crystal Rose to depart for Isis.
Xander dealt with the fallout from the poisioning away from Princess Kallisto who was sheltered in her ship. Once all of those sordid details were sorted out, he would join her on a short trip to Isis, where they would confront [member="Crix Meriet"], who had taken up residence in the Crystal Palace.

Xander had a mess to deal with in the morning. He was busy smirking at the way the servants bustled around when they found their princess naked and entwined with a man they did not know. That was only eclipsed by the bustle the rest of palace was in as the Royal Family been found murdered. It took a while for the servants to notice Xander standing under his own portrait. It was enough to keep everyone from contesting his claim, and soon Xander was once again the recognized monarch of the Crown Worlds.

With new attire on, Xander boarded the ship where his lover was waiting for him. The signet ring and scepter of Indupar were in his grasp and he bowed as he entered. His smirk still wide as he looked to the woman that had found him naked with the princess.

"An alliance has been made, one you sent the princess here to make. I am certain you will announce my arrival," Xander said silver tongued.

The woman ran off to where her mistress was waiting and whispered in her ear. Xander was hot on the trail, and soon walked into the seating area where the princess was waiting. Her clothes were exquisite, and fitting of a princess. Xander took his seat next to her.

"Let us see this world and wealth you have promised me shall we? Also this courtier of yours who harmed you, I want to see him."

[member="Thais Kallisto"]

Such a difference a day made. Twenty-four hours ago, Princess Kallisto was confused by the subterfuge that was underway as she had arrived on Indupar... And now, she was nearly betrothed to the King of Indupar. Of course, if he would have her.

Thais could feel the balance of power shifting. Her own servants felt it too. They swiftly began to treat Xander Blackmoore like the King he was, especially after whispers of the unusually prescient painting in the hall and how he grasped the scepter. Thais herself could not disagree, but was also overcome by lust for the aged King. If Xander had set out to claim her, he was a competent hunter and teacher. The Princess had yielded and would still yield easily to his advances.

She adored the way he ordered her servants around. Would this be one less task for her? She hoped so. The annoying and clamoring servants all around her sometimes pressed the limits of what she could handle. Thais needed one voice to help guide her through life and she was hoping that would be Xander.

Needless to say, Princess Kallisto was thrilled when her new beau wanted to travel with her. She looked forward to [member="Crix Meriet"]'s rude awakening, when she showed up with the Sith Lord, master of her castle, with carte blanche to do how he pleased as long as he pleased Thais.

Xander dismissed the servants once they were airborne. There was no sense in keepng them where the two of them were. The man had to learn, and quickly, what the rules of court were among the regality of Isis. Every monarchy had their own systems, and Xander did not want to break any customary rules he may not be aware of. Isis would not be part of the Crown Worlds until Xander made his alliance with Thais official there was only one rule every royal cultire understood. Alliances were not sealed when two people had sex, alliances were sealed when two houses became one through marriage.

"I must know everything," Xander said once the servants had departed. "What are the rules I will be expected to follow?"

Xander stood and moved to the wine cabinet. He began to peruse it as Thais would answer. His head shook at the selection the princess had on the craft. Clearly her man did not know his wine. Xander reached for the most palatable offering she had, and grabbed two glasses. He was always seen with wine or brandy, even in the painting which hung in the palace on Indupar.

"Your men must see to finding you better wine. As the ruler of your people you should have the finest, not this garbage they wish to pass off as expensive. You will carry nothing but Indupar's finest from now on."

A sip of the wine was taken, and a glass offered to Thais.

[member="Thais Kallisto"]

Thais noticably relaxed when her servants were dismissed. She wasn't afraid of them, but had been trained since birth to present a facade of grace and poise around them. She was probably the most open with Miss Janine, but the handmaiden had been caring for her since she was five years old.

Xander made a beeline for the wine cabinet, while Thais finally ate a croissant. She was famished now, having not eaten dinner or breakfast. Not to mention all of the activity in between. She could tell by the look on his face that he was disappointed in her stock of alcohol. But Thais figured this would not last long once he got a look at the majestic Crystal Palace.

"The rules of my court are simple. I make all of the decisions," she said, giving him a sly smile. "My advisers are key to helping me with this. There's Napo, who was once a Gutretee slave to my parents. You've seen Miss Janine as well, who is my handmaiden. Crix Meriet who I've spoke about is the Master of the Workforce for Kallisto Mining Company. He helps me with investments and the business. And obviously, I have a full staff, including Guards who take care of the Palace. But if you are looking for specific customs, I have none of which to speak. The heir to the throne is the first-born, be it male or female."

She waved the glass of wine away. It was too early for her, and she was still too hungry. He complained of the quality of the wine in a firmer tone now. Princess Kallisto had a weakness for strong men - it's how she allowed Mr. Meriet to become so powerful in her court, not to mention having direct and intimate access to her mining operations. She intertwined her fingers with his and said, "Whatever you want. Better wine is easy to procure, and will be my first order of business when we return home."

Napo suddenly came into the lounge where they sat and said, "Pardon the interruption, Princess Kallisto. You are scheduled to pick up some financial reports from Crix Meriet, but he's not at the palace or the mines. I've tracked him down to the Colony Hotel in Neskroff."

"Oh right, we will have to make a pit stop in Neskroff, I suppose," she said, her nod a signal that they would move forward with that plan. She turned back towards Xander. "What about the Indupar court? Any special customs?"

[member="Darth Vizios"] [member="Crix Meriet"] [member="Cryax Bane"]

Crix was also relaxed, snuggled up in bed with his blue consort. He had been seeing [member="Cryax Bane"] quite regularly now, at least once a month. Cryax was good for relieving the violent tension, to do the things he needed to do for his gratification without tarnishing his darling Toby. His Blue was into the violent love making that Crix needed.

The Colony hotel was not his favorite but it was discrete and spacious, the bed didn't creak and staff turnover was high. It minimised of him being caught he couldn't bare to have his Toby find out the poor man would be heartbroken. Crix rolled over running a hand over a love bite on his shoulder then drifting his hand to play with his blue boys hair. He was sleepy now "Your were great as usual blue" He mumbled closing his eyes and letting the rhythm of his breathe lul him to sleep "I'm gonna go to sleep ... you don't mind right ?" he mumbled

His eyes fluttered shut, his mind running blank as it always did after a dalliance with his blue boy or his darling Toby. His work was on the desk on the opposite side of the room and the princess was away all of his concern seemed light years away as he drifted off to sleep in the warmth of the bed and his Chiss. He had no clue that his day was about to get a whole lot worse

[member="Thais Kallisto"] [member="Darth Vizios"]

Despite its technological challenges, Isis was starting to become Cryax Bane's favorite spot, wholly because it was the home planet of one of his regular lovers, [member="Crix Meriet"]. In order for their trysts to happen without creating static in Meriet's own permanent relationship with his slave Toby, the men tended to spend a lot of time in hotels. Today they were holed up in the Colony on Neskroff. Was it as lush as the Cream and the Crop? Hardly, but Bane was here for a different kind of service than room service.

For the ever-stressed imperial governor, lying in bed with Crix was on par with heaven. The man had a way of erasing all of his troubles, such as his poor approval rating on Csilla, the steady stream of fallout from constantly mouthing off to Sith Lords on Coruscant, and his Ysalamir's weak bladder ruining yet another ridiculously expensive suit. He gave Crix a kiss on the cheek as the tousled-haired slaver passed out beside him.

"I don't mind, darling," he smirked. "I did keep you up all night after all."

He was about to peruse a Holotext about the Gutretees, the species native to Isis. Apparently they absorbed each other's memories much like data-files, a trait that he found fascinating. Unfortunately, Crix's pajama-clad body made it impossible to focus for too long, and Cryax simply turned off his ARCs for a while and curled up next to the man to nap beside him.

"The rules are very simple. Do not make the King angry," Xander smirked, and smiled to show he was teasing. "Women are to the men there as men are to Hapan women. You will be fine in that regard. There will be no business affairs to concern yourself with allowing you to focus on your own ventures here."

A stop in the county did not seem to bother Xander. The two were after a meeting with this [member="Crix Meriet"] after all. If he was staying in some hotel, then Xander could humiliate him in front of some lover. Why else would the man be there and not in the palace. From what Thais had said, Crix lived in the palace. He was hiding some sort of indescresion. If the man had a wandering eye, then this could play to Xander's advantage.

"Tell the pilot to land outside the city proper. We will walk in from there. Our presence is not to be known, and Crix is not to suspect anyone is coming for him. See to it he is not interrupted until our arrival."

Xander gave the command as if these men and women were his to command. They were, until Thais intervened and said otherwise. He knew his boundaries, but he also knew how far he could push them. Crix would be a good example to the rest of type of respect Xander demanded they treat all royalty with. Angry or not, the way he had manhandled Thais was not proper. Propriety demanded he be made an example, and forced to apologize. While Xander did not intend on dealing with it publically, the rumors of what was about to happen would flutter through the gossip chain of the servants. They all talked. Nothing was ever secret when they were involved.

"You don't mind a small walk about the countryside do you, Thais," he asked as his attention returned to her. "He will learn his lesson soon enough, and you will have your apology."

[member="Thais Kallisto"] | [member="Cryax Bane"]

Thais was thrilled to have Xander take command - of her servants, of her court and of her affairs. Maybe not the business yet, but there would be time for that once their union was official. They both wanted the same thing: to expand their empire, and Thais was sold on King Blackmoore as an ideal mate. He was of noble blood, he was wealthy, and he was quite lovely to look at. He had opened her eyes to a world of possibilities in her bed chamber, so much that to think of it now, brought a rosy blush to her cheeks.

Princess Kallisto knew that Xander probably had his own business to attend to in his court. While she didnt know if the King would be loyal to her heart, the fact that he was taking time out of his own busy schedule was a testament to his fidelity already.

"I will, my dear," she said. "You suspect Mr. Meriet is up to no good?" The Colony Hotel was an unusual location for him to be. He normally did his business at the Crystal Palace, and since Prince Blackwell and his father were assassinated, her trip was cut short by their deaths.

"It's possible he has not gotten the news that we're returning. Otherwise he would be in his office in the Palace." The brunette noblewoman cocked her head slightly at King Blackmoore. She could tell what he had in mind for her sharp-tongued slaver was not going to end well for Mr. Meriet. Thais smiled and said, "Why yes, I'd love a walk in the countryside. It would be nice to take in some fresh air before we have our chat with Meriet. But I warn you - the lesson needs to be such that he does not seek revenge on either of us." Coupled with her fear of assassination, she couldn't take the thought of an angry Meriet hanging around the Palace just waiting for her to do something wrong.

Her last few words had a thorny edge to them. How Xander would react to the Princess commanding him would remain to be seen.

Xander led Thais through the countryside. When he needed to know where they were at, he let her inform him. He was still fuming over how to tell her not to order him about. The command had come as cold water to a warm person, and he did not like it. Thais would learn everything would have to come as a suggestion. Yes, they were equals, but no one commanded Xander. Even his master had learned he would never take commands from her. Though he had been electrocuted many times for his mouthy disregard.

"You will not order me about again, Thais," he finally stated matter of fact. "Not in front of others, and not in private. Your culture may allow you more freedom, but mine does not. In private we will always be equals, but there will be time when you will have to act the submissive woman. All the work I did to change Indupar did not hold in my absence these past 800 years. There will be expectations of you that you must fill until I tell you it is time to break them. You must trust me in this."

Xander left no room for disagreement. There was no time regardless. They had arrived. Surprise was etched all over the face of the clerk behind the desk, and without any struggle a key for the room was produced. Xander opened the room to find two men in bed. One a Chiss, and the other, he supposed to be Crix. He also knew something was off. There was a detestable lizard in the room. The force was useless to Xander. He was going to have to get his hands dirty.

"Disgusting. You said nothing to me about your man taking men as secret lovers. No wonder he is hiding from the palace. He doesn't want you to know that he has been engaging in illicit affairs that will damage your courts reputation."

Xander grabbed the ice bucket, filled it with water, and tossed it on the man he intended to hurt. Xander was going to enjoy this too much.

[member="Thais Kallisto"] [member="Cryax Bane"] [member="Crix Meriet"]

Crix awoke at the noise of the door opening, rolling over savouring the warmth of his Chiss as he cast his eye onto the door. Did no one on this hell hole of a planet know how to knock? the lack of manners here was astounding, prehaps he ought to have put his tie over the door handle maybe then people would stop interrupting him. The man who entered, a cross between a tramp and a vagabond clearly detested Crix's present choice of night company . Closet homosexual was Crix's first assumption on the man.

"Disgusting dear? I'm not the one watching" He smiled sitting up "Is that a canoe in your pants? or do we just excite you ?" He added with a smirk.

As for bringing damage to the courtly reputation of Thais's well he felt she did enough damage herself. His 'affairs' were hardly hidden really, Crix didn't disguise his affection for Toby at court he was only hiding his relations with [member="Cryax Bane"] for Toby's sake. He was certain Thais had seen she had been blind if she had not. Whilst [member="Darth Vizios"] dithered around filling an ice bucket crix set about lighting a cigarette. It seemed he was about to get into trouble. Pull up a chair Thais this might get amusing.

When the water hit him he shivered but then fell to laughter tossing a now damp cigarette at the sith. "Not room service I see" He remarked " You throw like my mother and her arms haven't stopped looking like twigs since my 6th birthday" He looked through the sith then to the princess.

"Your majesty, Who is this man ? If he's a present for me well I'm flattered ... " He smiled " ... Someone needs to tell him that the rugged look is ruining his sex appeal though" Was crix drunk ? yes, yes he was. He glanced down at his top the white fabric going see through where the water had splashed. Definitely a closet homosexual.

Why were people yelling? All Cryax had wanted was a nice night with his secret lover, but apparently that was too fething much to ask for. One minute he'd been comfortably ensconced in a spooning position, while gearing up for round two, the next, there was an intruder in the room, squawking about "illicit affairs" and some "court reputation." One red, alien eye peeped open as Crix lay into the man with the most scathing venom he'd ever heard. Unf. Meriet was karking sexy when he was irritated. He was about to raise his sleepy tenor in protestation, when...

Sploosh!

A string of colorful Cheuhn phrases left his lips as he shot up out of the bed. Angry red eyes flashed at the, not one, but two strangers who were tresspassing in their room. A faint acrid odor filled the room, originating from the terrarium of his Ysalamir lizard, suggesting to Cryax that Nailgun's bladder issues were back. All the shouting probably terrified the poor creature. Was now the time to play the "don't-you-know-who-I-am" card? He wasn't quite sure until he knew exactly what they were dealing with.

He threw a protective arm around Crix. Not that the slaver needed any help in the matter, his tongue was sharp enough to cut through both of them it seemed.

"It's kind of cute what a big mistake you two are making," he seethed. His red alien orbs, panned first to the man and then the woman behind him, overflowing with a look that could only be interpreted as murderous.

Obvlious to how she had insulted him back in the ship, Princess Kallisto was caught completely unaware by Xander's sudden anger. It seemed her handsome King had quite a temper. She hadn't noticed it before, but her focus had been on the more positive aspects of his passion. Now she was experiencing the darker side of it.

Thais's brown eyes widened as he scolded her, her mouth snapping shut. Her well-groomed brows eventually furrowed into a deep and pronounced V in the middle of her forehead. Princess Kallisto was spoiled and not used to being challenged. And when she was, she would hold a deep seated resentment towards those who wronged her - like Mr. Meriet. With youthful bravado, she grabbed his arm roughly, tempting him to confront her more. She lowered her voice because, by the maker, she did not want her servants to hear them bickering, but she matched him in firmness of tone. "I do not care if you have your way with me in the bedroom. And I also do not care if you order me about in private." Through gritted teeth, she started to say, "But I do care..." and then she stopped because she was about to give him another order. Damn it all - this was all she knew how to do and now he was asking her to change?!? She quickly composed herself, and with a more gracious tone said, "I do care that you order me around in front of my court." She glanced at Napo who wasn't that far away but he was nearly in earshot. "But you are right, we need to act with the utmost decorum in front of our staff." Thais's continued frown would let him know that this argument was not over with.

But if the Princess thought the situation was out of her control now, it was about to get much worse, as Xander stormed into the hotel, most likely re-directing his rage from her to the courtier. She ignored the blue Chiss and focused her ire on Crix: "Mr. Me-ri-et," she said, drawing the syllables out as though he were a child. "This is the King of Indupar! You are to treat him with respect, no matter how much ice he throws on you tonight."

"You work for me, remember?" Thais spat. "You are my servant, Mr. Meriet, not the other way around. I have been putting up with your antics long enough. I don't care who you bed with but I cannot have you thinking you are above your station."

She finally turned her attention to the seething red eyes which glowed from the figure under the covers. "I will pay you what I need to so that you can escape here unharmed." Clearly, she thought Cryax Bane was a paid companion.

"We will finish this later, but you severly misunderstand me. I am simply giving you information about how things are, the part that will be yours to play on Indupar."

The message was to her mind. Xander was not about to carry the argument further. Women always had to misinterpret and misread things. Thais was clearly no exception, and her youthful age of only 18 clearly did not give her any experience in the matters of controlling things by seeming cooperation. To change something, you had to know how it worked. Thais did not know how Indupar worked. This would be a long road if she let her pride keep her from trusting him.

Criz on the other hand, Xander had no problem dressing him down in front of anyone. The man's tongue was quicker than his brain, and Thais at least saw fit to defend Xander's position in front of him. This did well to make ammends for her earlier misstep, one she did not knw she made until after. Were it not for the Ysalimir in the room, Criz would already be grabbing his throat as the windpipe would crushed by the unseen force. Xander was more angry he was going to have to get his hands dirty than anything else, and that would be taken out on the man.

"The only mistake made was when your lover decided to leave his station and man handle the princess," Xander addressed the Chiss. "His livelihood as he knows it is dependent upon him learning a valuable lesson in regards to where his prosperity comes from. This little dalliance would not even be possible without the connections which have come to him because of the position he has been given."

His blue eyes shifted to the man to whom his anger was focused. They narrowed as he took another few steps forward.

"It is a good thing I do not seek your affections or opinions about my sex appeal. You are also fortunate Thais has asked me not to kill you otherwise my lightsaber could a rather interesting entrance which would dispatch you rather painfully. Help me understand what made you think you had the right to lay your hands around her throat and choke her? Imagine my surprise when I found the wound on her neck while negotiating a certain alliance between our monarchies, and she informs me of coutiers that have forgotten their place."

Xander returned his gaze to the Chiss man.

"I suggest you make haste to leave otherwise I am not certain you will be safe here."

With that being said, Xander moved to grab Crix by the arms and toss him out of the bed and onto the floor.

Crix listened with a veiled amusement as Thais began her rant, so this was the Royal Whores royal whore. How interesting. He was about to answer the noble queen's rather redundant remarks when the king in the closet began a tirade all his own. Crix rested against Cryax as the king rambled on ... this was going to hurt a lot and Crix was scared. He had almost completely forgot about his assault on [member="Thais Kallisto"] and he certainly hadn't connected it to their intrusion until now. He was comforted by the warmth of his Blue whilst he attempted to hold his face together. Smile even when you're scared ... words to live by. Of course smiling openly would Irk the man so he had to mask it.

He was amused by The kings rant though 'Leaving his station' Ha, He'd been carrying out the responsibilities of ranks far higher than his station. Heck Thais would be lost without him, probably dead alongside her parents. Then there was the implication that Crix had secured the affection of his Chiss by virtue of his connection to the princess ... that was categorically untrue. He'd connected with [member="Cryax Bane"] entirely by virtue of his own abilities. And he was quite able to connect with people without Thais's assistance.

He had to answer that Particular accusation directly but it seemed that [member="Darth Vizios"] was not yet finished as he went on to throw statements about like an inquisitor on speed. His inability to keep his mouth shut had led him to slip and he had revealed his achilles heel, he was prevented from killing Crix. No matter how much he wanted to put his 'Lightsaber' into Crix, definitely a closeted man. Did you silently covet your stable boys My king? did you get a little rough and tumble when you play fought? Did you stand to attention in swim classes? all questions that regrettably Crix could not ask.

Then before he could speak he was thrown from the bed, falling hard onto his wrist. It hurt, it hurt a lot. Crix bit down on his lip to prevent himself from crying out. Then he began to laugh, out of shock and out of a need to mask the pain he was in "I have said it before and I say it again, you toss worse than my mother ... my king" He rolled onto his back holding his wrist as he shuffled back to sit against the bedside cabinet. "In line with your request Your grace ... " see even in the face of neanderthals he remembered proper titles "I will clear up a few things first I feel I ought to introduce my Blue friend here , Your majesties this is Cryax Bane Imperial governor for the One Sith and brother to the hand of the dark Lord" He smiled up at the chiss "And his presence here is entirely my own doing, I sell him slaves and my position at Isis's court didn't come up until our secound romantic rendezvous" He began to rub at his wrist, it wasn't broken that was a good turn but damn it hurt like a dog.

"Now onto further clarification on my role in Thais's continued grip on the crown, It seems you have not been given all the facts ... you seem to think that my new life here was handed to me on a platter with little to no effort from me ... this is not quite true" He sighed damn his wrist hurt and he was starting to get chilly now. He missed his covers " When I came to Isis the King and Queen Kallisto ,bless their noble souls, had recently been killed and the rebels were demanding the emancipation of the natives. Thais was going to refuse and that would have sparked a war, the Governor would have betrayed her and she would be dead now ... fortunately I was able to help her fix the problem and in no small way" He let go of his wrist and looked down "I am not your usual lack witted courtier My King and I would hedge to say I have earned my place at the royal Table ... " Crix had earned a place at the head of that table. By rights he'd earnt the crown.

"As for why I laid hands on the princess I admit I was rash ... but she tried to sell something dear to me even after I had refused ... she did so in public and to men whom I thought meant her harm, she is not yet entirely accustomed to the world outside the safety of her palace I hedge to say ... she is a touch neive "

Then he turned back to his Chiss "They are right though blue ... You need to go, I'm likely to be dealt with quite harshly by these two and none of us want you to see that ... " Crix was embarrassed enough as it was. This 'I'm weak, feeble and repentant' act made him feel sick and he didn't want Cryax to see him weak. He did of course need to be polite to royalty as part of his role as the good little servant. even when the royalty were lack witted. Why couldn't people just Kark off and leave him be?

Then he looked to Thais "Was this wise majesty, to show weakness in the house of cards to the public ?"

He could tell he would need some heavy brand Toby TLC after this .

Oh blast it, now he was in her mind. This was a truly unsettling feeling. She knew that she potentially had this telepathic power as well, but for now it was an intrusion that she didn't relish. Perhaps she did misunderstand him, but it wouldn't stop Thais from pouting the entire way to the hotel.

After she had her own outburst in the hotel, she looked around the room aghast at the surroundings. How sordid indeed! It could really use a gut renovation as far as she was concerned. Thais knew a bit about building material - quartz and marble were two of her most popular exports - and the Colony Hotel appeared to be shoddily built and falling apart and lacking in any structural integrity.

Xander's rage was palable, and he hoisted Crix Meriet up by his arm and threw him to the floor. The semi-repentant slaver landed so hard, she wondered if his wrist had been broken.

"An Imperial Governor," repeated Thais, glancing at Cryax Bane. She didn't know what to say - only that the Hand of the Dark Lord sounded quite ominous and not something she wanted to tangle with. But of course, she reacted hysterically at the criticism of her own personality. "I'm not naive, Mr. Meriet! I know what goes on between you and Toby. I've seen you and he in your bed-" she stopped abruptly and covered her mouth with her hand. Now he would know that she had been eavesdropping on him, which she had on numerous occasions.

Bringing her hand back down and in a softer tone, she said, "This is not the town square. It's a blister bug-ridden hotel room. All of this will stay firmly out of the public eye."

She felt pity for Crix Meriet. Like her acute sympathy for helpless animals, she didn't want to see him get completely beaten to a pulp, but he did need to pay for his transgression.

[member="Darth Vizios"] [member="Crix Meriet"] [member="Cryax Bane"]

"PAY ME?" Cryax sputtered, insane with rage as he whipped his head towards [member="Thais Kallisto"]. "I am certainly not a whore, you harlot!"

He cut his eyes sideways to [member="Darth Vizios"]' maddeningly familiar face. Where had he seen the nobleman before? For some reason, he thought maybe Coruscant? Was he a client of the CRC's? A Sith Lord maybe? The man said a few words of warning that boiled down to letting Bane know that this little visitation was instigated by something Crix did, something about man-handling a princess, most likely the pale, pouty waif floating haughtily next to the stranger. The one who suggested that he was a kept man, kark her. Crix himself seemed not at all bothered by the insinuations and threats, and instead leaned against Bane, smoking nonchalantly. Watching both intruders with irate, ruby orbs, he absently traced his fingers along the other man's thigh soothingly.

"Eh, whatever he did, she probably deserved it," Bane added said with a shrug. Even though this wasn't his circus, Bane wondered if he should try to diffuse the situation somehow, but peaceful negotiations were not Cryax's strong suit. Finished with his little speech, the male intruder suddenly advanced on Crix and yanked him off the bed, pulling him to the floor, prompting more Cheunh curses from the Chiss. It was all Cryax could do not to fling himself at the attacker.

"Tir ten rutah vah k'et bah ch'a searoten'i!"

He sprung from the bed and crouched next to his lover. He could give a kark if his nakedness offended these people. Crix gave the man another quite acerbic tongue-lashing and then introduced him as the imperial governor and brother to a very powerful Sith Lord. It didn't seem to shut the woman up in the slightest. Crix seemed surprisingly resigned to take whatever punishment he was owed, but Cryax shook his head, his brow furrowed with worry. He leaned in and in hurried, hushed tones, tried to reason with the slaver.

"I can't leave you like this, ch'eo ch'acah. Whatever it was that you did to her. However bad it was, and I'm sure it was rotten. I won't let them harm you."

Bane's eyes flashed quickly to the dresser where his clothes lay on top, neatly folded. His gear belt and blaster were buried underneath. He could make a grab for his weapon when they least expected it.

"It is only a lesson in proper respect for royalty, Govenor Bane," Xander said addressing the brother of Sage Bane.

Xander knew he had to tread carefully here. The reports of what happened here could never exist. Thais was correct the area was well hidden for this. A sprained wrist was fair for a bruised neck, but Xander had to ensure the lesson was cemented. His eyes followed the red gaze of the Chiss. Things had to wrap up soon before something happened no one wanted to have happen.

"There is nothing that warrants you attacking the princess as you did. Your wrist for her neck. The matter is dealt with, but should you wish to remain under the employ of the princess you will treat her with the respect her rank demands."

The King ignored the everything else which was said. Honestly Xander did not care. Crix may have been worth his keep, but that was not Xander's concern. Who he slept with wasn't either, as long as he didn't have to see it again. Xander was rather traditional as per his upbringing. The Induparan culture was not open minded in any sense. It was clear Crix was all men of his persuasion, and Xander was not going to waste his time. His type liked to flash their lifestyle in front of others and that would never change. Xander had no respect for such people. Xander had little respect for most people, he was royalty after all. His respect was earned.

"I believe you owe the princess an apology."

Crix cocked a brow at the Princess's rather unfortunate exclamation. It seemed she spied on him when he was with Toby ... how very nevou, in all honesty Crix did not care that she watched. Let her , his love for Toby was hardly hidden she already knew he told her when he gave her the bruise. Alas it was not his opinion that mattered it was Toby's and his darling would be mortified to learn of this, the bedroom they shared was his sanctuary from people looking down on him and this whore had smashed it open. If Toby learnt then his darlin' would never stop the guise of a good slave, every action of affection would be forced and no doubt swiftly Toby would grow to resent crix ... The fact that this whore would risk that knowing all she did made crix far angrier than he had been in the slave bazaar. Were it not for [member="Darth Vizios"] , his sore wrist and [member="Cryax Bane"] crouched beside him his hands would be around [member="Thais Kallisto"] 's neck or gouging out her eyes any number of violent things. He couldn't hurt her yet but he certainly wouldn't be apologising either ... she had stumbled at the final hurdle for had she not spoke he would have apologized , albeit just to get a quiet life.

Then came talk of blister bugs "Your majesty is most astute ... the occupants of this room are repulsive aren't they" He remarked looking down as his blue began to shuffle off the bed. He was embarrassed again now, more so as the chiss spoke leant in. Crix lay his head on Cryax's shoulder for a moment "Blue my darling much as I am at loathe to admit it I need the princess, Let them do what they must to win the battle they have made for themselves ... for it shall be I who wins the war " His words were whispered softly but with a veiled force, his words which sounded like surrender were anything but. Then he lifted his head to look his Blue in the eyes "But please don't make me suffer the knowledge that you are bearing witness to my degradation" He couldn't stand the idea of blue staying but by the same token he couldn't conceive how he could stand for his blue to go. He didn't know what he wanted his blue to do and it angered him.

Then came the King of the closet drooling on again 'Respect' this 'crown' that God royals were so self righteous. Coupled with his inane ramblings were a few silent assumptions much as crix knew that Thais's king was under a self imposed hosepipe ban , despite a longing to fill the pool, the king assumed that Crix was hose pipes all round, this was not quite true Crix was not particularly stuck up on gender with regard to night time (Or indeed occasionally daytime) companions. Whilst his two favourite lovers were both men it was not unknown for him to partake of a woman. As Thais could attest, remember Munnlist Majesty? That was fun right?

Then came the deterioration in conversation. The demand for an apology ... an apology that would never come .

"Belif my King is a dangerous thing ... " He began eyes down "It makes men fight other men leaving only death, it makes people tell stories that have dire consequences ... In short it makes people behave in ways that no one really wants them to" He rubbed his sore wrist again Crix believed a lot of things ... a whole lot of things.

"There will be no apology I traded a bruise little more than a hickey on the Princess for a sore wrist and a year's worth of shame, we are sqaure ... she overstepped, I reacted , she reacted ... only my reaction was hidden and discrete hers was to employ hired help to embarrass me in front of a client , a client who insures my industry remains functional allowing me to keep up the supply of healthy slaves to Her Majesty's Mines , a client who may never return now ... a client who will surely tell his brother risking yet more damage to my enterprise and by extension my Princess's"

He looked at the chiss beside him, he'd come back ...

"So do what your going to do but try to be tactful ... My king"
