[PERSONALITY & TRAITS]
“When we were kids, my Mother would dress us all in the same clothes. I hated that, everybody thought I was a damn boy, half of my Mother’s family didn’t know what my name was or even care to remember it. My Brothers though? Oh everybody remembered the golden boys, they’ve always looked out for me and on one hand, I hate it because it’s like they think I can’t look after myself, but I love them. Even though they frustrate me it’s nice to know somebody cares.”
-Lynda explaining her familial relationships to a First Imperial Navy Psychologist
Lynda was originally conscripted into the First Imperial Navy after Lothal’s annexation into the First Imperial Realm. Lynda is a deeply self-conscious and fatalistic depressive woman who compensates for her own perceived shortcomings with outward over-confidence that occasionally enters into arrogance. Lynda is impatient and aggressive in her interpersonal relationships with others leading many to dismiss her as a bully or emotionally unstable, although the latter might not be far from the truth.
The impatience of Lynda leads her to charge headlong into situations which she might not be sufficiently prepared or competent to handle. To Lynda’s detriment she is highly competitive however, usually finding herself at the bottom of any contest which frustrates Lynda immensely and complains in a brattish manner, envying those with greater competence than herself. Lynda is very rude with strangers and is reluctant to openly acknowledge or praise those who are greater in skill or talent. Lynda's childhood upbringing was harsh and thus learned selfish instincts, to place her happiness and wellbeing first and foremost before all others with little exception, save for the notable one extended to those within her immediate family who command Lynda's love particularly noticeable in her warm relationship with siblings. Despite Lynda’s instinctive selfishness, she isn't incapable of feeling compassion or empathy for others and this is best seen amongst the relationship between Lynda and her immediate family and those who she genuinely considers friends.
Lynda dislikes seeing others in pain and will make attempts to drawn relief through comedy in an attempt to lift damp spirits as the need arises or offer soothing kind words to calm the distress in others. Befitting her youth Lynda is often playful with her team and makes oft inappropriate remarks about others regarding their appearance and characteristics yet rather hypocritically strongly dislikes it when the same jests are made about herself. While resilient to fear, Lynda has a deep sense of self-preservation and due to her strong survivalist and selfish instincts will permit First Imperials and other allies to die if it means that she might remain alive, viewing the temporary shame of such selfishness as preferable to the eternal fate of death. Since becoming a Death Trooper, Lynda’s self-critical and depressive mood has resulted in a sadistic combat style where she will intentionally aim for body parts with her weapon or fists that will inflict the most suffering and prolonged deaths especially if she feels personally slighted by her target.
Lynda’s abrasive competitiveness and selfishness could be viewed as a result of her upbringing where she was constantly compared unfavourably to her two older brothers by an abusive Mother who would constantly remind the young Lynda of her shortcomings. Lynda’s brothers were never so critical of their sister and have ever supporter her along with their Father who quietly condemns his wife’s treatment of treasured and precious daughter. Lynda suffers in a depressed silence believing that her Mother holds no love for her, viewing Father’s silence as condoning of her Mother’s harsh discipline and criticism. Lynda’s greatest solace comes from the love given to her unconditionally by sympathetic brothers and she will exact great and cruel vengeance upon any who harm the people or things she loves so few are they Lynda holds them precious second only perhaps to her own life.
[APPEARANCE]
Lynda has dirty blue almond-shaped eyes corrupted with a thick hazel ring of central heterochromia around pupils, as a child Lynda's face was freckled and was regarded as somewhat of an ugly child with a noticeable crowding of teeth on top and bottom jaw until corrected with significant orthodontic treatment received from the First Imperial Navy after being conscripted. Lynda's hair is a natural palish blonde about shoulder-length and worn in a simple ascetic ponytail, Lynda's body has always been formidable even before receiving augmentation under Project: Revenant moulded through a stringent fitness routine adhere to in years past before the First Imperial Navy when still a Choreographer and Lothal Constable. Lynda reached adulthood with the body of an athlete and after augmentation took on the sinewy and broad skeletal characteristics of a robust god of war after the bio-chemical augmentation of Project: Revenant. Prior to undergoing the procedure to become a Death Trooper Lynda was tall for a Human Woman standing at 173cm tall or 5'8" and post-procedure with the extra musculature and bone found themselves standing at a lofty 190.9cm above the male Human average dwarfing those who had once been her peers. Weighing at approximately ninety-four kilograms of thick musculature has left Lynda with a low-fat physique comparable to a powerful male Human professional powerlifter, their muscle-wrapped bones are largely absent of the feminine features one would usually associate with an athletic woman such is the sheer volume of Lynda's brawn.
Years of being entombed within Darksabre Powered Assault Armour has left Lynda's skin with a pale yet sun-kissed quality from years of growing up upon Lothal's plains, their face boasts a pair of full firm lips albeit with a slight asymmetry with the higher jaw possessing a somewhat thicker quality than the lower jaw. Lynda's jaw itself is prominent and angular with a deep chin. Concealed under the skin at the base of skull is a subtle sub-dermal neural interface device surgically implanted into First Imperial Death Troopers so they can properly manipulate the Darksabre Assault Powered Armour, Lynda's blood type is A positive with a genetic sequence bearing the tell-tale signs of significant chemical mutagenesis that could be identified by a skilled geneticist. As of 856 ABY Lynda is around 24 years old with their complexion having the inflexion of a much older near middle-aged woman, this 'pre-mature aging' is the result of witnessing protracted warfare even before their augmentation. Thanks to the Recombinant Gene therapy received as part of Project: Revenant, Lynda should long outlive baseline Humans by several centuries at the least to over a Milennia according to medical specialists who were responsible for developing that procedure.

Childhood
Lynda was born as "Zarha Cyrene Stark" to a pair of unremarkable working-class parents from equally unremarkable familial bloodlines save for some genetic markers that would see her elevated as a Superhuman later on in life, Lynda's Father Silas was employed as a miner and an adept heavy equipment pilot working away from home for long periods of time and sometimes off-world entirely. Brigid, Lynda's mother treated her first daughter with thinly-veiled contempt having hoped to sire another son for her husband and cruelly tolerated their own daughter if only because she was so adored by Silas who had longed to have a little girl, his fondness for Lynda stemmed somewhat for her close likeness to Silas' deceased Mother which the then young man superstitiously regarded as a good omen. Brigid would humiliate Lynda be purchasing the child distinctly masculine clothes and it would result in Brigid's daughter regarding the former as cold and cruel resenting their own Mother. However, as Lynda grew older through the latter parts of childhood her two elder Brothers would come to protect their diminutive sister from their Mothers curious and undeserved malevolence. For this reason, Lynda became appreciate and deeply loving and affectionate towards the two senior twins even though at this point the sprouting junior sibling had already learned some of their maternal figure's harsh edges.
Coming towards adolescence Brigid's scourge of Lynda eased significantly after Silas threatened to dissolve their marriage in response to what was undeniably escalating verbal abuse. Silas rightly feared that Brigid might become physically abusive towards his daughter while he was not present at the family home and at his place of employment, this fear wasn't entirely unfounded however as Brigid seemed more eager to incorporate corporal punishment in disciplining Lynda when compared to her twin brothers.

- Opportunistic: Within combat, Lynda is ruthless, opportunistic and pragmatic she clings to few notions of “Honour” when it comes to overcoming an enemy and treats customary laws of war as suggestions and guidelines rather than sacrosanct rules. She’ll use opposition wounded soldiers as meat shields if necessary and leave behind improvised explosive devices out of the enemy’s corpses and buildings she has previously occupied. In melee this presents in Lynda reliably and predictably strikes towards the eyes, groin, throat and face of her opponent in an attempt to frighten and unbalance them.
- Resourceful Survivalist: Growing up on Lothal in a working-class family and often having her desires and needs neglected, Lynda has grown with a high degree of independence and self-reliance and learned to make the most of the tools, weapons and materials on hand. Lynda is quite capable of surviving and operating effectively when isolated from friendly assets or familiar environments, sometimes creating interesting solutions to problems. As oft displayed with her creation of homemade explosives from over-the-counter industrial tools and materials that she uses to delay hostile advances and movement.
- Superhuman Physiology: Possessing enhanced physiology there are few organic beings in the galaxy who could hope to consider themselves her equal in this regard. Lynda is faster, stronger and more durable than any baseline Human with reflexes so keen she can perceive the individual propellers moving at several thousand revolutions per minute with eyesight permitting the woman to hunt prey in the dead of night unassisted. Lynda can survive in chemically and biologically contaminated environments and is highly resistant to bloodborne chemicals, diseases, toxins and poisons.
- Voidmaster Lynda: One of the few places where Lynda truly excels is within the low gravity vacuum of space where she feels rather at ease despite being unfamiliar with extra-vehicular activity prior to training as a Death Trooper. Lynda is skilled in EVA combat and maintenance techniques and applies their instincts learned as an amateur dancer and choreographer within their youth to deftly glide through the void, this is especially useful in boarding action where she can be witnessed zooming through zero-gravity hallways using the tiny thrusters on her power armour as opposed to relying on its' magnetisable boots as a less confident trooper might.
- Fear of Death: Selfishly, Lynda possesses a strong sense of self-preservation that outweighs all loyalties to government and military. This could prove to be a liability for Lynda and her allies should the former fall into opposition hands and genuinely believes her captors might be inclined towards murder should she refuse to yield sensitive information or knowledge.
- Nerve Agents: Like other “Death Troopers” augmented under Project: AFTERLIFE and Project: REVENANT Lynda is vulnerable to the effects of Nerve Agents regardless if they are contacted through physical contact or breathed in an aerosol solution. The effects on Lynda will depend on the nerve agent in question, though generally it includes the loss of control over motor function. Potentially disabling the young warrior without a foe having to engage in protracted and costly combat.
- Overconfidence: Convinced rather arrogantly that there is little situation or foe she can overcome, Lynda has the unfortunate habit to brazenly charge into combat with an arrogant disregard for the opposition’s capabilities even in spite of warnings from her peers. This character flaw can lead Lynda into situations where her other weaknesses and flaws can be exploited.
- Transcranial Electro-Magnetic Sensitivity: As a consequence of Lynda’s augmentations she has an acquired sensitivity to excessive electro-magnetic forces, this isn’t noticeable in a civil environment however, Ion Weapons and EMPs have the potential to rob the young Death Trooper of their motor controls through a state of unconsciousness or induce a seizure rendering them temporarily unable to protect themselves effectively. At best, these injuries can inflict transient intense pain, memory and hearing loss severely hampering combat effectiveness for the effect’s duration.
- Weak Mind: Lynda has a frail psyche and malleable will that can be easily manipulated by those skilled in the use of force powers such as “Mind Trick” or “Dominate Mind” which can permit those talented in these abilities to outright avoid engaging Lynda or coerce the Death Trooper into performing an action involuntarily.
