A Common Night Out (CSA Dominion of Antar Hex)

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Antar IV

Kay wasn't up to this. Yet with Antar and Terrijo once again coming back to fly the Commenor Systems Alliance banner, she had to join the celebrations. It was her place to do so. It was her job. Yet with everything that was happening with [member="Veiere Arenais"] , she just wasn't feeling all that chipper. Still, [member="Nolan Kitari"] , her Minister of Public relations wouldn't have it any other way. She waited in the quarters of the Free Lady as it waited in orbit, half expecting the man to come waltzing in and tell her what to wear. [member="Macoda Haberon"] had come along with her, although after meeting with some Mandalorians a little while back, there was still a lingering bit of tension between them. But that all paled in comparisson with the tension between herself and her husband.

She just stared out at the moon's surface from the viewport, a cup of tea cradled in her hands. Her attire was simple, a flowing skirt and blouse bearing the Commenori colours of blue and grey, as well as a white shawl wrapped around her shoulders. There were some circles under her eyes due to stress and lack of sleep, yet she covered that with make up. Hopefully none would be the wiser. She had a part to play despite her heavy heart and the burdens on her shoulders.

A party. A night out. She wasn't ready for it. She'd rather be at home.

Kay stepped over to the opened door of her quarters and called out into the corridor. "Mac, Nolan...let's get this over with."

It was a night for celebrations.

Any other time and Kei would have happily been celebrating. Any other night and he would have happily been out there drinking and eating. The celebrations had fallen at such a bad time though, fallen at the worst time possible. Kei wanted to be out there, tracking down information about his family and his father. He wanted to be out there, questioning his mother about why she had lied to him, lied to him from a young age.

No, he had to drink. Kay wouldn't have it any other way. It was a happy moment, Antar IV rejoining the Systems Alliance. It was a moment that was supposed to be celebrated, a moment that Kay wanted everyone to celebrate. It was entirely possible that she was but a puppet for her Minister for Public Affairs. If that was the case, Kei made a mental note to chide him out a later date for stopping him getting answers.

He pulled a white tunic on. He wasn't great at the whole "lads night" thing anymore, he was getting old. When he was eighteen he could throw back alcohol as good as any other Corellian. That was ten years prior though, he wasn't that man much more. He wasn't a party animal, he liked a shady cantina as much as anyone else but nightclubs were so not his style, nightclubs were but torture to him, to his everything.

He would brave them.

And get utterly smashed doing so.

Objective: Peddle ergonomic assessments

Oh boy... the time has come for the Jawa to sell more ergonomic assessments. Business has slowed down somewhat because of the war that took place mostly in the south, and, in these troubled times, even something like an ergonomic assessment was going to stand out in this market. Also, Hosnian Prime was still not quite ready for playing host to a GSL team, so he could go back to what is his main business: the sale of ergonomic assessments. Even though he returned to a CSA that was not quite the same as before, especially since the authorities of the CSA are quite different. But, while they feasted on Antar, perhaps Klesta could actually go meet and get a complaint addressed about a customer that complained about the local offerings of ergonomic assessments. Unprofessional, unethical even, since rumors were that the last ergonomic assessors operating on Antar even used that business to engage in sexual harassment. Upon arriving at that client, the first thing the client asks about is the threat of sexual harassment that these assessors carry, probably because of some bad experience.

"Welcome, ergonomic assessors. I trust that you won't engage in sexual harassment?"

"Utinni! A client complaining about ergonomic assessors that engage in rape and other sexual crimes!"

"Seriously? Do you think the last ergonomic assessment joint you used is run by Zeltrons? Sure sounds like it" Tiffany asked, surprised.

"We even sued the assessors in question because they engaged in sexual harassment of our own employees - our case is yet to be heard in court"

So much had changed over the months for his family, yet Caedyn had been out of contact for so long, he had managed to remain ignorant to it all. [member="Asha Hex"] was his Master now, teaching him the ways of the Je'daii Order encouraged by his father during a time of personal exile and fractured dreams; Veiere hadn't quite been himself yet he had done Caedyn a favor sending him off to a place of peace and education within the Force, fortunate to not be there to witness his mothers concern and the distance between her and their father. [member="Loreena Arenais"] was out there somewhere too, his Sister whom Cae had missed dearly. They had been inseperable from one another until his leave of Commenor and now...-He hadn't spoken to her in so very long.

Climbing into the co-pilots seat of the Shadow's cockpit, Caedyn sat down beside Adelle Ciryal adorning his Je'daii Tunic, his lightsaber attached to his belt and his hair nicely slicked back to expose his forehead and keep out of his eyes. Over the passing days, he had grown some, matured a little outside of the sheltered life they had been blessed with upon Commenor. His time with his Master had been difficult to grow accustomed to in the beginning and yet she had been nothing but kind and accommodating to the boys struggle to be away from his home for so long.

Adelle was as equally kind as she was intelligent, a former flight lietenant of the Commenori Navy, she had been recruited by Vikras Ansion under Veiere's quiet encouragement to later become a guardian over the twins. The Repertoire itself always on standby should either he or his sister require her talents, both in flight and her more aggressive training enabling her to protect the twins should they ever need her. Both Loreena Arenais and Cae had been given her private frequency, ever ready no matter the time to come to their calling. One of the few testaments to a fathers love and want to protect his family. While Caedyn himself was so out of the loop with current events, it was Adelle's burden to know and remain up to date with all things, including her employer's sudden change of heart and recent actions against the world of Deneba. Such things she believed that the young boy did not need to hear from she herself, not did she feel he was ready for such harsh truths.

[member="Lady Kay"]

The awkwardness was palpable aboard the Free Lady. Mac could feel it all the way in the cockpit. He hadn't spoken to [member="Lady Kay"] very much at all since their meeting with the Mandalorians. Though Mac has a terribly explosive temper, it was a temper that tended to subside as quickly as it arises. It was unlike him to carry grudges for very long. However, Mac wasn't necessarily angry, instead, he was more concerned for Kay and a little guilty. He had said somethings to Kay that he regretted once he found out about what happened to Veiere and he felt a little betrayed by Kay as well. She hadn't really reached out to Mac either. He knew why of course, she was dealing with a lot of emotional conflicts. Veiere was her husband after all and there was only so much of a facade that Kay could put on to cover up her weariness. Mac could see through it. But although Mac still felt that he was in the right in this situation, he had been trying to ease up on Kay. This was when she needed him the most, and he needed to be there for her. It was just a matter of bridging the rift between them unless he was provoked again.

Mac also wasn't looking forward to this party, although who knows? It might lift the spirits around here. The great bear had managed to tame his beard and comb his hair although he still didn't don the Commenor blue and grey, opting for his usual leather coat and tunic instead. He pictured this celebration to be a bunch of diplomats and aristocrats, not exactly the type of crowd that he would fit in with. He would much rather attend a bonfire like he did when he was growing up. Now those were parties! With fires and drums and dancing and mushrooms and a lot of love making. Somehow, Mac was under the assumption that wasn't what awaited the Free Lady once he landed.

He heard Kay's voice call from her quarters. The weariness in her voice alone had dampened what mood there was left. "Aye, my lady." Mac began to bring the Free Lady into orbit, with two Antari shuttles escorting the frigate down to the party at the planet's surface where they were awaited.

Rex was worried when he revived an invitation to Antar IV for a celebration of it joining the Commenor Systems Allinace, He himself had only just joined the CSA, and he had never been to a party. He didn't like feeling unsure of what to do, but in the end he made up his mind, he had to go only if to meet some of the people who were a part of the CSA. He was hoping that he would be able to meet [member="Lady Kay"] though and also [member="Stardust Raxis"].

She handy worked with the CSA in so long, however due to recent events a party sounded better then burying herself in work or setting at home dining absolutely nothing but thinking...Something she didn't want to do at all

The imahalyans light flashed out of hyperspace over the planet, the freighter was Stardust personal ship that she greatly enjoyed using, she sat in her quarters as she looked in the mirror wearing a dress of earthly covers something one of her council members suggested, something about representing the planet

The comms officer transmitted the codes to the landing tower and stared their reason and quickly was directed where to land. About 30 minutes later they were docked and a speeder was rolled out the driver simply waiting for Stardust to arrive. Finishing up she made her way towards the speeder and climbed in

head to the party

The driver nodded and off they went towards the party, she looked out the window looking at the svwnwry as it passed, he mind began to slip a bit before they arrived as she inked and opened the door and sighed. She got out and made her way into the party quickly grabbing a drink and looked around spotting a few people she needed to talk to...and...especially [member="Kei Raxis"]

"Before we sell you ergonomic assessments, we would like to know how many stations there is to assess"

"Are there discounts available?"

"If you have 10-100 assessments to make, you are eligible for a group discount, 101+ and a bulk discount is instead applied. We are introducing a new scheme of discounts on top of the existing one: 2/15, n/60, applicable whenever group or bulk discounts are applied"

Ergonomic assessments with billing terms 2/15, n/60, pronounced two-fifteen, net-sixty, means that the client has a 2% discount if the client pays within 15 days of service provision (or delivery; ergonomic assessments are, by default, billed on FOB destination terms, meaning that transportation is included in the bill, although some other merchandise is billed FOB shipping point, in which case transportation must be paid by the client) and the rest is due in 60 days. Surprisingly, while the Sith Inquisitor sold ergonomic assessments on account, there was no discount attached to early payment. But during the Great Galactic War, Klesta discovered in horror that Xi Charrian competitors ate his prospects for growth based on x/y, n/z discount schemes: it was no longer enough to simply provide group and bulk discounts. As they walk through the safety checkpoint of the premises, and wears safety boots, earplugs and helmets, the Jawa discovers that it actually is a factory where 10mm rippers are manufactured for sale to non-SJ customers.

"I mean, we are a weapons manufacturer, but there were five employees raped, and a dozen more that were victims of sexual harassment with the last ergonomic assessor, so a bulk discount is in order here. However, we are court-ordered to get ergonomic assessments made, and to deliver a copy to the court once that is made"

Entering the place that was on the invitation Rex received, he looks around and immediately how out of place he must look still being in combat gear, but he was used to this any way after being in the military for quite some time, he looked around and used the force to sense and he felt a strong presence in it, finding the source, "There is no way, is that [member="Stardust Raxis"] , I though she was a legend, especially after their king left, I better introduce myself" heading towards her, "Greeting my name is Rex I just joined the CSA"

What awaited [member="Macoda Haberon"] , [member="Nolan Kitari"] and others was a fabulous party in a tranquil location lit up by the famous luminescent trees that dotted certain pockets of the famous moon. A grand arena was set up, music booming out of it from the band performing on stage. Only the trees dampened the sound. The water of the nearby lake reflected the lights, giving the guests that much more light to see. Outside of the arena held a bunch of lounging areas, with servers waiting on hand to tend to the guests, most of which appeared to be no older than middle aged.

Kay certainly felt old and out of place as their speeder took them from the landing pad to the event. She was expecting there to be politicians and the generally aloof ballroom events. But no. This was a party befitting a casino world. She was pretty sure that she'd not find any tea.

"Well, this is different..." She stepped out of the speeder after it had stopped. There must've been hundreds of people here. "Let's try not to get lost." And by that she had meant to lose eachother. It was quite easy to do with so many people around. At least Mac had his height going for him.

Lori had been waiting FOREVER for a chance to see her brother [member="Caedyn Arenais"] . While he had been off with his teacher, [member="Asha Hex"] , learning the ways of the Force like the lucky brother that he was, she had been away from Commenor for her own training. With the encouragement of their Mom, [member="Lady Kay"] , Lori was taken under the wing of [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] to learn the traditions of the Mandalorians. Who knew that her and Cae were half Mandalorian?! It was MUCH more exciting than their Mom's job. Lori was scared that she'd spend all of hef days in offices and classrooms, but no, she now lives in a ship and trains to fight, learn new languages and put all of her pranking skills to work.

It was AWESOME! And she couldn't wait to tell Cae! She missed him terribly, missed his bad jokes, and even missed him picking on her. After getting the invite, she knew that he got one too. Twins' instinct! And just as their parents had a Force Bond, so too did the twins have a connection. It was agonizing with being apart for so long. At least their respective training kept them busy.

Lori jumped out of her seat as soon as she felt Jaster's ship lurch out of hyperspace, a huge grin on her face. It was nearly time.

Post Count: Two.
Starship: The Repertoire.
Pilot/Liaison: Adelle Ciryal.

Unlike his dearly loved and most often teased twin Sister, Caedyn didn't have a clue about this party or celebration until they were informed within the Orbit of Commenor. The Repertoire had not but left the channel of hyperspace for five minutes before the voice of Vikras Ansion had intercepted them and found his way onto the communications hub with Adelle's activation of the systems function.

"Cae, give us a minute huh kiddo, go and get your things ready, you'll be home soon" she turned to speak to him, a warm and soothing tone of voice. For a former military officer and woman whom had seen her fair share of fights in the sky, she seemed to have found a much more comfortable living tending to the Queen's children. Still, Caedyn had to figure that this was going to be 'adult talk' and slid off of the co-pilots seat with a less than subtle roll of his eyes yet complying all the same. He didn't like being treated like a baby, but there were times like these that despite how long he'd been gone and how hard he'd been training with the Je'daii, that some people just still hadn't gotten it in their heads that he was growing up!

Between his pilot and the former Grand Admiral however, they had pressing matters to discuss. Since [member="Veiere Arenais"] had stepped away from the Systems Alliance and turned around to do worse, strike at the world of Deneba, Vikras Ansion had been sternly encouraged to resign from his commission at the head of their naval forces due to his close relationship with the former King, seeing his place of authority as a conflict of security interests were he to remain. Still, loyal to Commenor, he had a few friends and connections out there for which he could still tend to the Queen's interests when and where possible and in this case, it was bringing Adelle Ciryal up-to-date on [member="Lady Kay"]'s whereabouts and the recent going-on's within Systems Alliance Space.

Their next stop? Antar IV !

"Court-ordered? Did your court order contain a specific area that has to be prioritized?"

"Warehouses, production areas"

"Got it. Tiffany, take the warehouses, while I take care of the production areas"

Unlike the last ergonomic assessment, this time around it was quite different. Of course, he knew that court orders that led to the ergonomic assessments being ordered were usually issued when work accidents happened. Sometimes such court orders could be for a specific area within a business, usually where the accident triggering the court order happened, but the more severe cases usually ordered ergonomic assessments on the whole place where the accident occurred, or one specific area in all the locations that have it. Meanwhile, Tiffany was given a tour of the warehouses, immediately detecting a dangerous ammunition warehousing configuration, prone to security leaks. Meanwhile, Klesta was to enter the assembly line, but he knew that making an ergonomic assessment of the assembly line just wasn't the same as doing it for office space. Clearly improper soundproofing was an issue as soon as he stepped into the assembly line: it was so noisy he couldn't hear the workers, no more than he could hear the tool in use to check for air quality. The surprises were going to be unpleasant to the client...

Aboard the Forgotten Loot
Above the Antara IV

Jaster walked onto the bridge of the skeleton crewed ship, acting less of a warship and Jasters Personal Transport, it was meant to instill fear on possible pirates. The ship had maybe 1/3 the needed crew, and if anyone took a close look they would see it's disrepair that it was entering. However, the Mandalorian spent massive resources securing the vessel, so he liked it as a decorative peace though it rarely left the drydocks that he owned. His Clan Flotilla of Neutral Mandalorians needed his real transport ship along with the defensive fleet, so he thought it would be nice to take the ship out for a spin as Antar was very near his Shipyard.

His new Trainee received an invitation to attend a party, Jaster of course received one just after. Jaster had not really entered the child into combat or physical training. Most of their day was educational and basic training, he realized quickly that she was very intelligent. She picked up other languages very quickly as well as basic Asto-Physics and advanced mathematics fairly quickly. She had great potential in space flight. However, he had warned [member="Lady Kay"] that contact with her daughter must be limited, yet Jaster was a weak man to this particular family so he decided that since they hadn't entered true training, it could slide. The young Child was ecstatic for some reason, it had only been a month or two since she saw her mother. Maybe he was tougher on her then he thought.

As he walked up to the Bridge View, [member="Loreena Arenais"] jumped from her seat and raced to the nearest hanger bay, and nearly running into tow Towering Grand General of the Republic Remnants. Without a single thought he pointed to his Captain of the Vessel, "Captain, you have the Bridge, all call for pick up." and turning on a dime, the tall aging warrior sprinted after his new Companion. After a second or two he was able to catch-up to her, "First one to the shuttle get to fly."

And with that they raced to the Kom'rk Transport, it was a close one but she still beat him by an inch. His suit was showing its age.

Nolan walked down the hall with purpose. Years of attending events just like this had prepared Nolan for this situation. He walked into the room quickly.

“Alright Lady Kay, it’s show time! Here’s the plan we go in we take photos we socialize and we drink?” He said to the two. “Also Lady Kay, it would be a shocker if they didn’t ask you not to say something to the crowd. So make sure you prepare a little generic something something.” He said. He walked over to her quarters and knocked. “Alright Kay let’s see what you are planning to wear.” He then heard the gruff pilot respond to the woman.

“So Mac, is it? You seem to be a pretty good pilot. If you ever want to try podracing, let me know. I got a spare one that was made for a Wookiee.” He said half-jokingly.

[member="Lady Kay"] [member="Macoda Haberon"]

The only thing that Kay wanted to drink was tea. But she wasn't so sure that they'd have that. Since [member="Nolan Kitari"] wanted to check on her outfit before she left the ship, she stepped out into the corridor to show him. Flowing skirt and blouse with the Commenori colours of grey and blue, plus a white shawl wrapped around her shoulders. "Well? Do I pass inspection?"

Making speeches on the fly was easy enough. She's done so before on many ocassions. Kay was her own speechwriter, and she hardly ever prepared ahead of time.

She glanced over [member="Macoda Haberon"] 's way when Nolan asked him about podracing. "Mac's pretty good on a swoop bike. I've seen him in action." That was a great little trip, a spontaneous afternoon of riding. He helped her to forget her stresses and her job for a little while, and to just be herself. But she wasn't so sure that there'd be any more of those. Not since they had an argument about trust.

Lori could hear the heavy footfalls of [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] as he bounded after her. She couldn't hide her glee as he urged her on. The transport shuttle that she knew awaited her in the hanger was one of her favourites. And best of all, Jaster let her fly it!!

Already he was beside her. Her breathing became laboured as she pushed herself, extending her arms out so that she could touch it first. That was the point, wasn't it? At times it seemed as though he was gaining, yet at the last moment she quickened her pace until she could smack her hand on the hull. "Got it!! I win! I win! Mwahaha!" She leaned against the craft as she caught her breath, looking up at Jaster with a grin. "My co-pilot is getting slow in his old age." She grinned and then burst out laughing. The great thing about Jaster was that he wasn't so serious all the time. He let her play and have fun. And that was just as important as training.

Darben Skirae had received an invitation from [member="Stardust Raxis"] to a party, of all things on Antar IV. This time he brought along Renla and even Mia came along. Renla had a green dress that she liked and wore to almost every event. Mia had a matching dress, much to her own discomfort though Renla had made her buy it, then wear it. That had made Darben laugh. He himself wore a suit. "How you feeling, Mia?" he asked, with a small smirk as she tugged at it. "It's-" Renla glanced back, and she had to stop her answer to change it. "Lovely...it's lovely."

Darben came to the place of the party, and there he waited.

[member="Darben Skirae"] [member="Loreena Arenais"] [member="Lady Kay"] [member="Nolan Kitari"] [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] [member="Klesta"] [member="Caedyn Arenais"]

She checked the time, she remained sorta near the door glancing outside. She invited Darben mostly out of the fact that she didn't wanna set st this party alone at all she'dlikely and up leaving it something like that.

She walked outside and took a breath of the air to clear her head, these past few weeks head been even more hectic then she truly wanted....guess you could never live a quiet life. She glanced up seeing darben and stopped for a minute....now that was someone who could rock that suit perfectly. She moved forward and bowed her head

Hey! Great to see you made it. And hello renla, Mia. You two look amazing as well

She smiled brightly as she looked to darben

shall we head inside?

Nolan checked out the dress. The style was simplistic something that hasn’t been a trend in a while, could Lady Kay be ahead of the curb? By the force, he needed to stop hanging out with fashion designers from Coruscant.

“Yea you look great.” He then looked up to her face. “Force, Kay! How much sleep have you been getting?” Somebody who didn’t go to events often wouldn’t be able to tell but someone like Nolan who went to Galas and parties frequently would be able to tell that she was trying to cover something with that make-up. Too late for a team of professionals though.

“Alright out of the speeder, you two smile and wave.” He said as he got out of the speeder.
