A Game of Thrawns (OS Dominion of Csilla)

Objective: 2. Stop Chiss dissidents, fight with some or all of [member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Spark Finn"] [member="Anastasia Rade"] [member="Lilin Imperieuse"] [member="Rekha Kaarde"]
Location: Csaplar Streets

Technically Sage was on the same political plane as [member="Darth Vornskr"], but that didn't make receiving an impromptu Holocall from the Butcher King of Panthana any less intimidating. Vornskr was on of the Voices of the Dark Lord as well as Warden of Galactic Sector One, so once the planet fell back under the black folds of the One Sith, its fate would ultimately be Darth Vornskr's to decide. When the communications droid transmitted Sage's end of the call, Vornskr would see the Sith Knight on the streets of Csaplar, with his hear gear in his hands, his breath puffing out in front of him as he spoke. Perhaps it was fortuitous that he didn't go skiing after all. Sage cleared his throat.

"A few hundred dissidents were heeled, with minimal casualties, My Lord. I hear that Lord Reverance is making great progress infiltrating their base. My Acolyte, Darth Mallum, and I will soon head North to rendezvous with the CEDF. Knight Santii will be meeting us there."

Sage paused to make sure that his special charge was still nearby. Whew, Thank the Maker, Darth Mallum hadn't run off.

"I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see Darth Mallum put under my charge," he said in a clipped tone.

"She's quite an interesting Knight. Full of...passion, that one."

What did Darth Vornskr do to Darth Mallum? If her fate was anything like his brother's had been in Vornskr's hands, Sage felt intense pity for the woman.

He turned his head ever so slowly and imperceptibly to Acolyte Raeth to see if he had learned his manners yet. Nope, no kneeling before the Voice. Not even a bow. Such insolence.

"Coordinates uploaded," there was a resounding bing on the HUD. She felt a tinge of worry about Anastasia and Rekha. They were perfectly capable strong, independent women but she also realized, she was growing to care about them like a team. Like a mini-family. Even with how much that Kaarde could get under her pale, skin!

One was a Master of the force and the other owned a bar. They'd be fine.

"You haven't crashed us yet, so statistically speaking I guess that's a yes." The blond looked between Coren and the airspeeder skeptically. It wasn't so much his skill, it was her comfort-level on that thing. This. This was why she preferred staying hooked to a data terminal somewhere inside. Somewhere stationary. Chewing razzle-gum. Duh.

After a lot of strategic, albeit sloppy maneuvering, she managed to get her heavily-clothed self UP onto the speeder. Datapad was tucked safely inside her jacket. Thin-arms wrapped tightly around Coren's waist from behind. Glasses went slightly askew as the side of her face pressed against the back of his shoulder.

Yeah, they hadn't even moved yet but this gangly-slicer wasn't taking ANY CHANCES of falling off.

Eyes were already squeezed closed and she may or may not have been holding her breath.

Incoming message. What now. Knight Santii... - the start of the message played. Suddenly he didn't feel so grumpy. Knight Santii. It had a nice ring to it. Tanek listened to the rest of the message. He was about to give his reply, when Sage offered him a few words of warning. Be on the lookout for Jedi. Jedi? Were they here? Her grumpiness had faded, and given way for something else entirely. He was focused.

"I am on my way." short and simple, but it told Sage what he needed to know. This ship can go a little faster, right? He sped up. With possible Jedi opposition lurking about, he didn't want to be one second late to the action. Tanek was not aware that he wasn't the only one who'd recently been promoted, and as such made no mention of Sage's fancy new title. His mind was set on giving Sage a hand with the Jedi, should their paths cross.

As his ship came upon the landing pad, and touched down, Tanek felt the presence of another. It was the familiar presence of his Master, Darth Vornskr. So he was here too. The Togruta Knight smirked, his longing of Korriban having faded away. Things were about to heat up on Csilla.

Coren would remove the mask from his armor when they were done with the drive. Right now? The coordinates were uploaded, that meant it was time to get moving. Making his way onto the speeder he shook his head at Spark. He knew that Ana and Rek would be fine. The ship would be fine, this pair right here? They’d be fine. Everyone would get out alive. Mostly intact. Aside from their enemy, he was sure. Did he know he was in for a re-match? No.

Did it help that he had Spark with him? Yes.

A big part of him was surprised she did agree to come, normally she sat in the ship, doing Watchtower support work. But… well, he could tell she wasn’t really comfortable with coming along. “Spark, haven’t moved yet, just so y’know.” Being well traveled, Coren could match up his accent to most upon hearing it spoken for a moment, that was with the exception of Chiss Space and Corellia. The two hot spots of his life.

Right, pretty awkward girl mounted on the airspeeder and… time to go. He kicked it into gear and adjusted the face mask, activating the navigation for the Heads-Up Display to bring them right where they wanted to go. Then they were off! Wouldn’t take them long, a few turns, straight-ways and trying to not make it so Spark lost her lunch, and yep!

Sith.

“Ready?”

Now it was a matter of what the Sith troops did to how he handled this, but he was hoping Spark would go all security blanket with a Force bubble, as was typical.

Location: Tachyon Rising - Titan Mining facilities
Allies: ???

Bent light cloaking would get him further into the facility. So far so good; no one managed to pick up on his entry. Likely because outside and in the sky, things were going crazy. Nothing like a good distraction to allow him to get some intel and some goodies.

Further inquiry into the facility would reveal that it was mainly automated. There were A3 Droids all around, which would make this easier to move about. The scent of labor and industry filled his nostrils; machine lubricant, earth, and ores. Micah would walk down to the rail overlooking the mining facility. The ore mined here was nothing fancy; the basics for durasteel, armorweave, and your stock weapons. But every little bit would help in regards to the Covenant.

Objective: Having dialogue and exchanging information with a scientist from the One Sith
Location: Chiss Ascendancy's Biosafety Level 4 Lab - housed under an ice mountain outside of Csaplar
Allies/Enemies: OS - to be determined; [member="Darth Venefica"]
(2/20)

Well that would explain the crazed look of the human woman who had joined her in the lab. She was a Sith Lord and a scientist as well it seemed. Brask'ari'sabosen could work with another scientist. It would be intellectually challenging, so the Chiss doctor would give Darth Venefica the benefit of the doubt. Course, did Ari really have a choice, if she wanted to live?

The tall, blue-skinned near-human stood from the stool she sat upon at her workstation, then canted her head respectfully.

"Salutations, Darth Venefica. I am Brask'ari'sabosen, though you may address me as Doctor K for your ease," Ari greeted in perfect Galactic Basic except for her full Chiss name, which was in Cheunh; the language of the Chiss people - a very difficult language for non-Chiss to speak let alone understand.

The Sith's words were most informative. Hopefully as fellow scientists they could indeed work something out that would be equally rewarding.

"I would be happy to explain the project I am currently involved in. I am working on a new antiviral serum. The clinical trial is in its third and final stage. I was just looking at the latest specimen slide when you arrived. Would you care to see?" she offered, motioning to the microscope.

"I have not targeted the pathogen, but rather have tried to inhibit its development all together. I manipulated the DNA and RNA sequencing, which has showed great promise. The infected cells on that slide are back to normal as observed. Just six hours ago the test subject I injected with the serum was near death. He is eating as we speak."

"Is it passion? Or is it madness?" He chuckled, a haunting chortle that caused many on the warship's bridge to involuntarily flinch as if the sound was too loud for their eardrums to bear, and shrink away from the pulsating vortex of hatred that was the Sith Lord. Vornskr himself wore a relatively simple, yet elegant garb that consisted of a silken black doublet embroidered, a pair of matching trousers and leather boots, and a half cape swung over one shoulder and clasped into position by a diamond-shaped brooch set by a oval-cut emerald. Several rings adorned the fingers of each of his hands, some of them encrusted with gems and others relatively plain metal bands, and an amulet holding a Corusca gem dangled from his muscular neck by a chain necklace. He lightly adjusted the necklace before then adjusting himself on the throne, going from a relatively laid back position to sitting on the very edge of the seat with his hands clasped before him, and his chin gently resting on the interlocked fingers.

"Still, she serves a purpose all her own. Proceed with the rest of your operation, Lord Hand, I will be planet-side within the hour." And with that he cut the transmission to leave Sage Bane in utter bewilderment, and then he retreated from the bridge to his own private chamber on the Black Iron Tyrant and began to meditate on the dark side. Probing the incandescent webways of the Force as the dark side slithered in to smother Csilla of all light, but there were those who resisted the looming darkness on the horizon, those who did not belong to the icy homeworld of the Chiss.

Interlopers, trespassers, infidels...

Jedi.

He trusted the Lord Hand and his minions to deal with such grievances in their own manner, he shouldn't need to interject himself so vulgarly into the operation. He silent observation was well enough to keep those who doubted in line.

Objectives: Not-Die (also get back into the vibe of writing Sena)
Location: Unknown Snowy Wasteland
Allies: Herself. ([member="Maja Vern"]?)

She rose from the ground. Sena’s entire body shook as she began to realise exactly what she had just done. She had leapt off of a cliff with a twenty meter drop and still had all her bones fully intact. Anyone else would have been happy or even amazed but at this point all Sena felt was anger. Anger at her situation, anger that she would be sent out into the middle of nowhere without any further instructions other than “Survive.”

Was this a punishment? Had she done something or was it meant to bring with it some sort of lesson? Because all Sena could feel was the biting cold on her cheeks and the fire within her. It just wasn’t fair. She hadn’t done anything unless the fact that she had finally begun to train by herself would count as a no-go but that felt far-fetched.

The occasional gust caused the loose top-layer to get tossed in the acolyte’s eyes which only added to the anger she was feeling. The sun may have been shining but that hardly meant anything when the warmth it would bring didn’t help her get any warmer at all.

For each shuffle through the snow she began to hear several others. It was probably an echo. Sena had already checked her back several times before yet every time she had done so it was nothing. That was until the growling came into play. The acolyte twitched. Her mind immediately went to the hounds, but the hounds of vahl had no reason to be here.

She turned around and found herself staring down at something far less complex than a hound. A pack of wild beasts. Her eyes widened, the fear resurfaced. Why was it always the growling? She had no idea what it was but whatever it was it looked hungry.

She had to ready herself. This was not good.

Having arrived at the war front, Greta hopped off the speeder she got in hurriedly, as she started to make her way to the front, past the throng of One Sith troopers, towards where the Hand and his charges probably were. Scores and scores of forces that had swore allegiance and carried the banner of the One Sith gathered in the streets of Csaplar, as they then systematically eliminated the threat that was these rebels, foolish in thinking that they could achieve anything significant in opposing the might of the One Sith.

As the girl walked past them, she grabbed one of them by the scruff of the neck asking if he had seen the Wrath or the Hand. The trooper replied nervously "No, milady, not seen a peek of the Wrath anywhere near here, but the Hand is up front making preparations to move the war host north." Perfect.

Unhanding the trooper roughly, the Sith acolyte strided past the hordes of troopers, walking up to the Hand himself as she announced her arrival. "My Lord Hand, Sith Acolyte Greta Kohler, here to assist you in exterminating the vermin known as the Chiss Dissidents." The girl announced, finishing it with a respectful bow to the superior Sith, an excited grin on her exuberant visage.

The Sith Acolyte had probably guessed that the Wrath had gone on ahead, infiltrating the Dissident's base, intending of claiming the leader's head for himself. Greta had no doubts in her mind, that Lord Reverance would not fail in his task, and thus hoped that when he had claimed his head, the Chiss would still continue putting up a fight.

Otherwise where was the fun in that?

She was just getting started.

Sage clicked off his commlink, leaving the overly-adorned Sith Lord to his own devices. Feth! Darth Vornskr was coming dirtside. Sage felt a touch of irritation. Did the Emperor of Panatha think that the new Hand couldn't do the job? No, he was not about to be micromanaged by Vornskr, even if this part of space was in the man's jurisdiction. This is my show.

Suddenly a group of Sith troops parted to reveal [member="Greta Kohler"], an up-and-coming Sith Acolyte herself, walking with determination in her stride. The way she moved and respectfully bowed caused him to flash a dark look at his own Acolyte. See? This one shows some respect. Sage grinned at the lovely blonde who was brimming with eagerness.

"Acolyte Kohler. I heard your work on Telti was outstanding. May the Force serve you well today."

The shimmering he had felt earlier, dark and light auras mingling through the ether, returned. Sage fluttered his eyelids shut and sniffed the air like a fox. The Hand spun on his heel to face the others and gave one last order.

"The Jedi are closer still. Use your Force sense to spread out and ferret out their hiding spots. Then eliminate them. Capture any you can."

His brown eyes flashed ominously to Darth Mallum.

"In case Darth Vornskr wants a new pet."

A wave of dissidents spilled out into the streets, firing upon Sith troopers. An ambush was underway. Multicolored energy beams criss-crossed through the streets as One Sith Forces returned fire on the dissidents. Without a weapon or even his saber activated, the new Hand of the Dark Lord calmly walked towards the first wave of insurgents. It was as if he were walking straight into a Nexu Den with nothing but the clothing on his back. However, Sage was a strong practitioner of the Sith ancient magic of Qâzoi Kyantuska, taught to him by Matsu Xiangu. Merely being in his presence could make the weak-minded fall victim to the power. In the next moment, the first line of dissidents all simultaneously stopped firing. With worried looks in their glowing red eyes, the Chiss men and women slowly lifted their blasters. Then, positioning their weapons diagonally underneath their throats with the barrels pressed against their skin, the first wave of insurgents passively committed synchronized suicide.

The event convinced the second line of dissidents to simply run for their lives without hesitation.

The girl kept running, not stopping for a few good minutes. Until she found another way to reach that ruling family's home. There was a taxi or some other kind of transportation vehicle she could use to travel there.

And for the rest of the journey, she could rest and let the vehicle take her to the place. She had money with her, so she could pay for the travel. She had finally come to realise money was needed everywhere she went.

The closer she reached to the ruling house's location, she started to feel more and more darkness. There had to be a Sith of some kind nearby, otherwise there was no possible way such corruption would be radiated. Her mental preparation for the fight was great and probably worth it. Physical preparation -- probably not. But she would see what the Sith was made of and then do what she could.

Ana knew exactly what she was doing by wearing the fuzzy boots. It wasn't as if she hadn't stuck a knife in them for safe keeping or had armor on under the coat for protection. She knew this wasn't some snow vacation but she appreciated Coren's concern after all now that Ana thought about it she did kind of look like a snow bunny. It was a good disguise as nobody would expect that she would be after them but by now the Master was pretty sure the Sith knew who she was.

As Spark and Coren speeded away Ana was charged with watching the Ship and taking out any Sith that may come towards her and Rekha. The hanger was a prime target for the Sith to come peak their nose in after all it would be where any refugees would have to go if they wanted to get out of here in one piece.

She for now would guard the outside until one of the Sith decided to play her a visit. It was only a matter of time as she knew they could all sense her by now just as she could sense them out there. As much as she wished to go out there and stop them Ana knew that she had a job to do. She had to stay here, it was important.

Tauros didn't give a hoot if he was late. He was here, and that was all that counted.
He was riding a Speeder Bike towards a small, relatively new entrance to Csaplar, wearing a black, fur lined cloak with thick brown and again, furry boots. It was Wampa fur, dyed black.

"Who's this? Nobody is due?"
"No! Shoot hi-"
"You will let me in and take me to your leader. Now." Mala ordered the two Chiss guards that stood like the glaciers surrounding them at the gates of Csaplar, the capital city of Csilla. He lowered his gloved hand and parked his Speeder Bike against a wall. "Follow us." they said, and began walking through the narrow passage. It lead onto a busy high-street, crawling with Chiss guards and locals. The buildings bore a glacial look, which explained why they weren't visible from the outside. Bright, white lights twinkled slightly on the top floors, but on the lower there were no windows. Strange. In the center of the street towered a white building; it reflected blinding light from the sun and it seemed... Angelic.

Obviously, the Zabrak stepped inside, tightening his cloak and adjusting his fur-lined hood.

Delicious beverages would have to wait. Quietly Saiah stalked her path up towards the perimeter of the large estate. Her white cloak hid her expertly in the snowy landscape. She could feel a presence approaching, not a familiar one. This was distinctly light, and as such, it was bad news. The last thing she needed now was a meddling Jedi playing hero in Saiah’s schemes. She would have to be quick about her plans. This must have been the source of her bad feeling. No bad feeling stops a Sith Assassin on a mission.

She had found a spot on the outer perimeter where the cameras did not overlap, however, the movements of the guards suggested there was one stationed at the very blind spot. As she scaled the snowy hill, she approached the low wall that fenced in the estate. Using telekinesis, she moved snow up to the wall, giving her a ramp help her climb it. She mustered up the Force and ploughed through the snow, up the packed ramp and over the wall. The flapping of her cloak alerted the guard. He turned and raised his blaster, but it was too late. Saiah was within range, and her assassin’s blade protruded from her wrist. She put one hand on the blue-skinned man’s mouth and thrust the blade into his neck, behind the jaw and under the earlobe. She kept her right hand pressed on his mouth. Her left hand twisted and retracted the blade to cause maximum bleeding. To keep him close, she grasped the neckline of his clothing. As his glowing, red eyes rolled into the back of his skull, she let go of his mouth. With a grunt, she telekinetically lifted his body into the air and tipped it over the wall.

With Guard-A disposed of she turned her attention to the datapad. It could allow her a few minutes blackout of the external security cameras. It would be a tight race and she would have to dispatch of several guards on the way. Game on. She entered the command and set it on a five-second countdown. During these five seconds, she put the datapad back and drew the vibrodagger. As the pad went fwi-wip, the cameras went dark and Saiah darted around the corner of the estate with Force Enhanced speed.

Guard-B was just around the corner, he never even saw it coming as she raced past him and slashed with the short blade of the vibrodagger, painting the wall with a spray of blood. What colour was it anyway? She could not tell just now. The cut was not long enough to remove his head, rather it turned him into a Coruscanti personal candy-dispenser. Having heard the gurgle, Guard-C turned and lifted his Carbine Blaster and was able to fire a volley. Saiah made a Force enhanced jump to evade, the shots swishing dangerously close to her feet and burning holes in her clothing before she landed on him, both her knees connecting with his upper torso. He was strong, but could not withstand the force of her weight and charge, and was knocked to the snowy ground with a heavy thud. After connecting and as she was knocking him to the ground, she gripped his hair and thrust the vibrodagger into the pit of his collarbone for silence.

She would have to take one more side, three more guards and the clock was ticking. That beverage would be hears before the night ended.

There was a cry through the street that caused the semi-petrified slicer to crack one blue-eye open and peek around Coren's shoulder. A blast of icy-wind met her face. Her invisible force-shield around them held but just barely as she saw and heard a bunch of Chiss shoot themselves. Fingers curled tighter into the fabric of Coren's jacket. She caught a glimpse of someone familiar mixed in the melee.

Him.

"Snake-arms," her cry rose above the rushing, biting air as the itch on the back of her neck did double-time.

Brow beneath fluffy-hat furrowed as she reached forward with the force, sending an invisible wave to disable or short-circuit any of the trooper's weapon tech up ahead that were firing on the retreating dissidents' backs. Just the closest ones. Anything to give the Chiss a little more time.

The trick with s’mores is that they had to be cooked on the Rising’s stove. That made it tricky to melt everything. The fact that Spark was cooking had Coren slightly worried, but when they were en route to Csilla he wasn’t worried. Slash he was checking his gear, and planning some sort of fancy tropical trip. Soon. He needed to get in the water again.

But here they were, surrounded by cold. Aside from the heat coming up from the terrified (he assumed) Spark.

What he was hoping for was that Ana would do her thing, defend the ship, or go and take down some Sith. He may need the back up here. Had he brought his shoto he’d have tried to push it on Spark, but as it were? His Power 9 and his full-saber. He squeezed the triggers on the handgrips of the airspeeder, taking shots at the Sith.

When she pointed on Sage, he nodded. A few blasts from the speeder’s lasers were going right for him, and then, he made sure to make the flight path stick on a heading for the man with snake arms. “Spark? Jump!” He said as he made to push them both off the speeder, him taking the brunt of the hit to the ground while pulling at her with the Force, to make sure she could control her landing.

Until he hit the ground and went tumbling. Hopefully an airspeeder would give him time to get to his feet.

Within the snowy plains, away from everyone else, or anything else, walked a man without a cloak. Red arms hugged his own body as he wandered through the falling snow, away from civilization, away from anything. His ship had crashed, caused by his own actions as he himself tried to fly it. For practice he said, and now he was away from the main body of the One Sith, stuck in this freezing cold, with only a vest and some pants.
Darth Ferus was a man who enjoyed the heat. Bathed in it practically. Had this been a desert world, or a lava world, the Zabrak would be at the head of the charge, unaffected by heat and free to do as he would. But here? On this frigid world? He almost couldn't hear himself think over the rattling of his teeth. The only reason why he hasn't frozen to death by this point was because of a purple flame licking at his form, keeping him mostly warm as he tried to find his way to some place warm.
Man did he hate the cold.

That was it. She was so close to the destination that her nerves started taking control. She tried to fight against them, tried to think positively. But everything inside her told her that she would not do that well. Whether it was a Sith trick Lilin knew prophets sometimes managed to do or it was the Force which told her to back off, she did not want to agree with it.

She had to be strong.

After the vehicle stopped and Lilin payed for the drive, she started running again. She wanted to get to protecting the noble before the Sith would do something to him. The presence of the Dark was getting stronger and stronger, she felt like throwing up. It was a thing she hated about herself.

But she fought. Because being strong was what brought success in a battle.

She made her way past guards who had been killed in brutal ways. Another thing which made her feel very uneasy. Her eyes filled up with tears as she pushed herself forward and did not let the darkness make her leave.

She saw the person. The presence of the Force around her was too strong to confuse her for somebody else.

"Stop!" she said with a calm tone.

Theme: If you fall I will catch you…

‘Sometimes you picture me -
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said -
Then you say - go slow -
I fall behind -
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
Time after time.’

Imagine walking through the snowy wastes, seemingly underdressed and underprepared. It reminded Maja of a previous time, except this time around, she was observing - not experiencing.

From the comfort of her ship she watched as the young woman - she figured it was - reached a cliff and wondered how she’d manage the descent. As the woman backed away from the edge, Maja suspected she was going to retrace her footsteps and find an alternative route. Then, for no obvious reason the young woman rushed forward and jumped. Maja wondered what sort of mess she’d make on the ground and was surprised to see she’d landed not only in one piece but still had the use of her legs. Maja was impressed. OK, she also figured it was one of the dumbest things she’d ever seen, but none the less impressive.

Both watcher and participant looked up and the extent of the drop. But one was still warm in her ship, no doubt hidden by the blizzard and one was freezing cold no doubt. Maja considered leaving her ship at this moment except Maja sensed the Sith - for she’d decided the woman was a Force User and given her aura, no doubt Dark-sided - was not alone.

As she scanned the area, she saw a pack of wild animals facing down the woman. Now not once did Maja think to rush out and help her fellow Sith. If she survived - then she deserved support, but if she couldn’t face a few wild creatures and live? Well natural selection will have taken its course.

But then she reflected how she felt when her sister left her to the elements all those years ago. It had been a harsh lesson and it had taken her a long while to recover. So she grabbed a warm jacket and made her way to the exit ramp and pressing a button, allowed the icy wind to enter the ship. Within a few moments, she had started to make her way to where the main event was about to unfold. If she fell, Maja would catch her - she owed her that much at least.

Objective: Establish a science facility on Csilla, for the good of Kalor-Tech and the One Sith
Location: In a different freezing cold to [member="Darth Ferus"]
NPCs: 20 Advanced Security Protocol Droids, 20 G-S Construction Droids, 1 Assistant, 4 Engineers
[1/20]

"Exploitation: The action or fact of treating someone unfairly in order to benefit from their work." Killian read out, word for word, from his datapad. "It's not exploitation if I treat them fairly, and that is what I intend to do." His eyes flickered to his new assistant, a Chiss only slightly younger than him, who nodded hesitantly in reply.
"Of course sir,"
"Now, are the droids ready?" He asked, turning to examine the foundations of what was to be Kalor-Tech's new science facility on Csilla.
"Activating now, sir." The Chiss replied, just as the sound of repulsorlifts approached. In the distance appeared white objects flying towards them, the distinct shapes of G-S Construction Droids. As they reached the site they made sure not to collide with the stationed security droids already present, their protocols focused on Killian's security before anything else. "They won't take long, the structure is mostly complete, it's just a matter of placing it."
"Very good." Killian replied, showing a slight smile which made his assistant somewhat relieved. Disappointing his boss on the first day would be disastrous. "Will we have enough workers by the time the facility is functioning?"
"Yes, there's already a dozen signed up, and plenty more will come after the... unrest." He was of course referring to the Sith's dominion, which would no doubt stir atleast a few Chiss from their homes or workplaces in fear. The idea of a remote, secure workplace sounded better than a recently occupied city in Killian's mind.

Across the site there rung the sound of welding and clanging, as the droids were well underway with the project. This would only be the first of Kalor-Tech's facilities across Sith Space, and in the future he hoped to expand even further than that. Already he had contracts in the Unknown Regions, but only time would tell how that would turn out...
