A Meeting Among the Dead

Ashe Senari

I was raised to be a weapon, but I was born to be
"Get away from me..." The mumbled reply was hard to understand due to her slurred speech. She finished cleaning up the broken glass and dragged herself off the ground. Ashe stumbled across the room, trying to reach the refresher before she puked... It didn't work out. She got halfway before dropping to her knees and ending up slumped forward, emptying the contents of her stomach onto the floor. She drank to fast it seemed. She wiped her mouth on the back of one her gloves and groaned, slamming her fist into the nearby wall. She couldn't even fucking take care of herself anymore. Was she really this broken? Had she always been this screwed up? She sighed, not wanting to think anymore. She should have just hit him, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

"Ashe..." He sighed and walked over, picking her up and taking her to the refresher, careful not to step in the rather vile liquid and solids that collected now on the ground. With a quick word he set her down in the refresher and smiled. "You sit here, i got to go clean up my mess." IT was his mess after what he had forced her to do, his eyes kind and his smile there as he patted her head. "Oh, and Ashe, try not to chuck on this floor too please." He laughed a bit inside his mind at his joke, looking to mess that he now worked on cleaning up.

Ashe sighed and let her head lean back against the wall. She was sitting on the floor in the corner of the room, trying to calm the raging storm inside her mind and drag herself off the floor. She managed to make it to the shower and turn it on. She tugged off her clothes and climbed in, trying not to lose her balance. She ended up curling up on the floor of the shower, letting the water wash over her and trying to ignore the tears sliding down her cheeks with the water from the shower. Kharen heard the shower start and smiled, happy she was still together enough to be able to get herself cleaned up. While she did that he finished cleaning the floor, happy none of this was material and it was easy to clean. When he was done he pushed the mess into a disposal shute and went over to the door to the refresher. "Ashe, im going to put some clothes in here for you to wear, ok?" He avoided looking over at the shower as he entered, putting the clothes in the corner and heading back to the door.

Ashe sighed and got up. She finished cleaning up and turned the shower off, stepping out and grabbing her clothes. He had picked the forest green dress with the brown sash that she usually wore on formal occasions. She pulled the dress on and fixed the cloth belt in place before walking back into the room she and Kharen shared. The mess she had made was cleaned up so she flopped down on the bed. She hoped this ship would reach whatever planet they were going too soon. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

He smiled and sat on the edge of the bed, placing a hand on her shoulder as she lay there. "You ok Ashe?" She still looked pretty cute even after that whole event, his hand patting her shoulder as he decided she probably would want him to go away. With that thought he slowly got up and would start off to his spot on the floor.

Ashe caught his wrist as he tried to walk away. She stayed silent as she tugged him down next to her and cuddled up to him. She didn't know what else to do. The Echani was upset, but she didn't want him to leave. The warrior didn't want to be alone again. Kharen was really warm and before she knew it she had her head on his chest and his arm around her. The position barely registered in her mind before she drifted off to sleep. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

He blinked as he was pulled back down, looking at Ashe with a curious gaze as he tired to figure out what was happening. After a few seconds he watched her fall asleep on his chest, his eyes staring at her with a calm smile. His hand coming to rest on her back as they laid there.

Ashe mumbled and thrashed a little in her sleep, but nothing woke her up. She whined once in awhile as her nightmares terrorized her. She could hear some psychotic female laughter in the background and saw Yusan lying dead at the feet of a shadowy female figure. As much as she wanted too though, she couldn't escape her dreamworld. She had to tough it out for the night. Kharen's presence did make it a little easier. She cuddled closer out of a subconsciousness need to feel safe. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

Solan would sit there and hold her for the entire night, staring at her softly until he knew for sure that she would be ok through the night with him there. There wasn't much he could do but he would be there to aid her from this point on and make sure everything turned out fine in the end. Why, had no reason, but he just wanted to.

Ashe yawned and openned her eyes the next day. SHe didn't bother to question their position, instead she merely asked if they'd be able to get off the ship soon. She was sick of being stuck on it. The warrior missed the wide open spaces planets provided, and the food. Cantina food was starting to get old. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

"Don't know, but it should not be much longer. You know, you don't have to keep laying like this there, i thought i pissed you off." He smiled and looked at her for a few seconds before putting his head against hers. He smiled but he would not do anything in regards to make their situation intimate.

"You're comfortable..." She mumbled, nuzzling his chest and smiling a bit. She enjoyed the feeling of his arms around her, and she didn't want to move just yet. The young warrior hadn't been shown much affection in her life, so she wasn't going to pass up on free cuddles for now reason other than that they could. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

He laughed under his breath and placed a hand on her shoulder as she lay like that, looking up at the ceiling and staring at it for a few moments. He really wasn't sure or not if this was ok but the girl was comfortable and felt safe, it would be wrong to move now and deny her that. "So, its probable we are going to land today... do you happen to remember where we bought a ticket to?" He laughed with a bit of a embarrassed grin.

"No idea! I think we'll end up on...Nar Shadda? If I remember correctly. Shouldn't you know this?! You paid for this!" Ashe replied, laughing a bit at him. She wasn't in charge of knowing where they were going. She giggled at him and slowly got up. If they were landing soon she needed a shower and a change of clothes. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

"Do i need to put you back in the air Dove, i will." He watched her get up and smiled at her as he continued to lay there and returned his gaze to the ceiling. He did hear her giggle as she went and added an extra comment to trip her up a bit. "By the way, you are quite pretty." He smiled to himself, observing with one eye her reaction.

Ashe blushed as she dug through her bag and pulled out a light blue dress, white gloves, and some simple white boots. She'd never been called pretty before. The Echani turned and raised an eyebrow at him, trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Really now? Where'd that comment come from?" She tried to sound teasing, but she had a feeling the confusion was evident in her voice. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

[member="Ashe Senari"]

"Oh, im sorry, what comment are you talking about?" He smiled wide and closed the eye, waving his hand. "And i do hope you don't plan to change infront of me, i do believe there is a refresher, right there." He smiled and pointed with his hand, opening his eye again as if looking at her like she was starting to do so. So he liked her expression of embarrassment, who wouldn't when it made her other wise pale face bright as a light.

"I wasn't going to change in front of you!" she yelped, facing flushing more as she spoke. The white-haired girl rushed into the refresher to change. She got her boots and gloves on but as she was slipping the dress on she noticed a problem. She held the top of the strapless blue dress to her dress and shuffled back into their room.

"Uh... Can... Can you zip up my dress?" She asked softly, looking down at the floor to hide her red face. [member="Kharen Promethien"]

[member="Ashe Senari"]

"You know, if you got a dress with straps you wouldn't need me too, and how do you know i wont mess up and accidentally do it wrong in which is falls down while we aren't paying attention." He grinned at her, and sat up as he slid off the bed, patting her on the head as he walked behind her and pulled up the zipper. "That better there dove?"
