When Jairdain had been younger and growing up, her people and classmates had tried treating her the same way. However, she had fought back and stood her ground. Did what she could and instead of learning how to do much of anything physical, focused on the mental aspects of the Force.

"You can at least see that cube and its colors. Something more than I can do."

Anything of a physical or holographic nature, she couldn't see at all. Items, but not details.

"I think you just need to stop caring what people think of you and be yourself. Make your own path and if people can't accept you for who you are then they can go bugger off. Tell them to go plow a bantha or whatever and leave. People don't treat me differently because I'm blind and the Silvers welcomed me. Now as for something being your fault. Rarely is it on the head of a single person an outcome."

Flinx said it was his fault those things that were wrong with his parents and she shook her head.

"No, not your fault. They were already the people they were before you were born. Nothing you could do to change that."

Flinx pondered her words. "Once again you have me in a moral corner here. I mean yah I can see, but..." flinx sighs and lays out his lightsabers. "May I see your hands." He would levitate his sabors into her hand. "One of the ways I see is to feel the life around objects. An old Jedi I read about once said 'For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you.' By feeling the force around objects I can 'see'. He would hope that maybe this small bit of knowledge could improove her life. "I would love to share what I know and am willing to learn and document your teaching. I can add it to my library so that young beings in the same situation as us can learn how to cope."

When he said she had him in a moral dilemma, she was confused. Flinx asked to see her hands and placed his sabers in them. Already knowing about the Force and life around everything, she wondered what his objective was.

"Yes, but your vision is something from your race. Mine isn't. I'm never going to be able to see the side colors of that cube, read or see a hologram."

He then made the comment about him teaching her and she sharing her knowledge so he could record it, Jairdain nodded. She was all about sharing what she knew and passing on knowledge as well as learning new skills.

"You're only the third blind person I've met, so it's not very likely many others would be in the same situation."

"I was only trying to put forth a course that would give us both something to do." He countered. "You must get bored and lonely out here all by yourself. What do you do for enjoyment?" Flinx sighed and put away the cube. "I mostly just take care of my animals as you so eloquently put it."

"This is where I come on vacation. Here nature is at its most natural, the fight for survival, the strong over the weak. My job is the advisor to the crown price on Commenor. If I'm not with him, then I'm either here or on Voss where my other home is. The Jedi have since moved to Kashyyk, but I did not go with them. You ask what I do for fun? I have a garden here and grow most of my own food."

Fun for Jairdain had been lacking in her life. Since the age of fifteen, there had been no real fun to speak of. However, she had found her calling. That of a consular or diplomat. A role she filled with her job as an advisor. She probably had no real clue what fun was.

"What is fun anyway?"

"Well um, fun is what you call an activity that brings you pleasure regardless of if its productive or not. For me taking care of my companions and seeing where I roam brings pleasure, also acumulating knowlege on the force and trying new and unusual techniques with the abilities is pleasurable. All these are "fun" to me."

Flinx sat back kinda surprised that he had distilled the happier part of his life down to so few sentences, but what else could he say, he didnt live in a holodrama where every twist and turn brought new thrills and excitement.

Listening to what Flinx said about fun, she nodded.

"So I guess I do know what fun is. Even if somebody else might not think so. We each enjoy some of the same things, like learning. So perhaps we are meant to learn something from each other? Something guided you here, but yet we don't know what it is."
