A singular trial of Competency.

The panthers were made short work of given the suddenness of [member="Dar Moraal"]'s attack and soon fell to his rage and hatred. As the last of the two panthers fell the roar of the beast in the chamber that held Erebos within echoed throughout the ruined station.

Erebos stayed silent as the apparition questioned him to no end, and shocked him in it's frustration. "Gah! You mere pretender, Stop being silent and answer my questions or I'll have the beast tear your head from your shoulders!" The apparition almost shrieked in it's frustration but it only served to amuse Erebos.

Seeing the corpses of the panthers Dar stopped and looked around. This place was a maze. Perhaps finding a way out isn't the best option. As he heard the roar a single thought entered his mind. He needs to find his master. Dar then sat down and meditated. He summoned up his rage and hatred. Dar thought about what it felt like to kill those panthers. He thought about what his weapon felt like as he was fighting. Dar then directed all that energy on finding his master. Giving himself to the force he leaped up and ran towards the direction of his master. Surely the two of them can deal with whatever this accursed place has in store. Dar would like nothing better than to find his master and punish whatever was making that annoying sound.

(Sorry about the wait. I've been gone for a month and am now back :) )

A light groan like chuckle began to emanate from Erebos's mask as he looked up towards the apparition. "If your beast does that then how will you get any information out of me?" He said in a mocking tone but was then met with more force lightning than he thought a spirit could muster. He was in sheer agony but he began to feed off it, use it to his own advantage, biding his time as he felt there would be an opening in the future.

(Hey [member="Dar Moraal"] sorry for the late post but my Muse is all but dead these days and I've been very busy in RL so I'm going to be taking a Loa in a few days that will last a while.)

This place was truly labyrinthine in nature. The force guided Dar deeper through the station but the whole thing had an unnatural feeling to it. He could only get frustrated at the lack of results his search was getting. Not able to contain his rage any longer Dar lunged at a poor wall and attacked it with all the ferocity as some far off gladiator with a blood rage. Roaring in frustrated fury he grabbed some junk off the floor with the force and hurled it at the wall in impotent rage. His roar echoed through the chamber as he mercilessly mauled the wall in what could only be called hatred. This went on for a few more seconds before he calmed himself down. Clearly this was getting him nowhere. Hoping to recuperate he sat down and meditated as his master showed him. The force with its many secrets would guide him to his master. Surely under his masters direction he'll learn to control his anger and use it to benefit them. As he reached a cold rage as his master taught he got up and walked through the stations many tunnels hopefully toward his master. This time he will use more caution and tact. Better than attacking a wall.
( No problem [member="Darth Erebos"] I understand. RL takes priority all ways. :))

The apparitions face contorted into what could only be described as a horrible scowl as Erebos hadn't screamed in agony from the last two blasts of force lightning. "What are you planing?" It said as it leaned forwards, it's face almost up against the mask Erebos wore. Erebos however wasn't even there, or rather his consciousness wasn't, he had begun to reach out to his apprentice, to [member="Dar Moraal"]. Lightly beginning to tug at his consciousness to direct him the right way, he was so close but the beast would be his trial in this en devour, it was a kinder mission than making an acolyte fight a force ghost.

It seemed to dawn on the ghost, or was it simply the creeping feeling of doom that ran up it's spine as Erebos's head slowly rose up to seemingly stare at the ghost. "To Devour you." He said in almost a soft whisper but it's tone was enough to make the ghosts face recoil in horror as Erebos broke his chains and lunged at the ghost. Using the force to contain the ghost as he held it down and began to use Force drain to drain the ghost into himself. Of course he knew he couldn't contain the power of the ghost successfully but it would be enough to light a beacon so to say.

He heard the beast stir. It looked at him and roared as it began to charge. "Chit! Just a little more time!" He cursed under his breath as he then hurried up, the agonized howls from the ghost and the beast barreling down on him made it hard to focus properly.

(So there I'm back, hope you didn't have to wait for too long XD)

Running through the tunnels Dar began to feel a presence. His Master's presence. Emboldened Moraal roared like a beast on the hunt. His Master was close. Clutching his saber tightly he rushed through the tunnels at breakneck speed. He almost seemed to glide through the halls as his powerful legs propelled him forward. His mind was working diligently as well. Dar didn't want to walk into this situation blind. Remembering stories and records of force hopefuls seeking knowledge and never returning again made him cautious. Quite contradictory to this however Dar roared and howled like an animal. He needed to prove his mettle. The fact that he wasted so much time in the tunnels already was an embarrassment. Dar almost wished some eldritch abomination would take up his primal challenge. A more sentient opponent may misunderstand and take his noise for blind arrogance thus underestimating him. However it may seem, Dar was enjoying it. Not for long. Moraal slowed suddenly as he felt ... a change in the atmosphere. He was getting close, but something besides his master was here. Dar resumed his previous speed hoping to overtake whatever was ahead.

(It's fine. I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise :D )
