Private A Slave, A Slaver, A Friend.

Grey Jedi Padawan/Cinnamon Roll
Kuxirra took out the small blaster pistol she had hidden in her clothes, using the Force to remove it from its holster and shoot the cuffs that held her. Once that was done, she used the Force to remove the shock collar, proceeding to remove her parka and boots, as well as her socks, leaving her barefoot. She then waited patiently to be released from the compartment, blaster hidden.

The blaster fire would have been heard if not for the sound suppression system he had in place there to keep anyone searching the ship from finding any noisy or desperate slaves he was trying to smuggle. But there were cameras in there that would observe her, and could be accessed by him, this was so he could later see who it was that tried to call for help so that he could punish them for it. It was however unlikely that he'd check the cameras so soon. Maybe before disembarking to check on the status of his slaves but other than that he had no reason to suspect that she'd already gotten free. She wouldn't be able to push the panel above her up and away to get out, since that's how she was put in, because he had some locks installed there to keep slaves in.

One thing was for sure, the minute he found out about her escape, was the minute he'd take some serious disciplinary action. Once he checked the feed, he'd also know that she was a force user, he'd probably need a Force Suppression Collar to keep her under control more easily. Well then, first stop, Kowak and it's slave city Sclavos.

As soon as the compartment was open for Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal to put the collar on her, Kuxirra would shoot him, her pistol on stun, and bolt out of the compartment. If the slaver was unconscious, the Togruta would stuff him in the compartment. She would destroy any cameras she saw, as well as the feed, and go to the other compartments to free any slaves in them.

It would be a long while yet before they got to their destination. Three total days of interspace travel. When he checked the camera feed and saw the thing broken he knew instantly that she'd gotten loose.

Lucky for him, stun bullets were easily blocked by even the weakest of armour. And he had himself a fairly good set. He wasn't going in there first thing though, he needed a force suppression collar first. They'd be on the ground another three and a half hours before he finally opened the hatch, clad in his armour and his gun at the ready.

Her stun shot would dissipate against his armour while he fired a burst of eight stun shots into the compartment. And of course, he'd be ready to shoot again.

Kuxirra managed to dodge most of the shots fired by Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal as she fired at him with her blaster still on stun, but one of his bolts hit her. As she lost consciousness, she growled at him. "Kark you..." The Togruta muttered.

"I believe, slave, that it will be you who will be karked." He says deviously.

He took the gun. And put the force inhibiting collar around her neck. Retrieving the removed collar from before since she hadn't shot that one off.

Then he bound her hands again and searched her. No more weapons were on her. Well, now he just needed to find out in what way would he discipline her for her resistance.

Kuxirra woke some time later, once again in the compartment. This time, however, she felt different...crippled, almost. As if a part of her was gone. She soon realized the collar was the culprit, and huffed. Come on, Kuxirra, she thought, you've been trained to escape this without the Force. But it's been so long...

The Padawan's thoughts were interrupted by another thought: Mom's gonna call me any minute now. The Togruta had a habit of wandering off in Kashyyyk's forests, and so her parents would call her every now and then to check on her. I don't want Mom to worry. It might hurt the baby. Yes, Zenda Tano-Bonteri, the mother of Kuxirra, was pregnant.

Sure enough, a few minutes later, Kuxirra's comlink chimed. Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal had likely taken it, as he had searched Kuxirra. Otherwise, she would take it from her belt—which she was flexible enough to reach even with her hands tied behind her back—and answer it, alerting her mother.

He'd taken the communicator. And he'd destroyed it. He knew how they could be used to track location and doubtless she had friends. He wouldn't risk it.

But that was about to be the least of her worries. The ship lurched violently. Caught in a tractor beam. After checking his scanners on who it was he went to the storage unit and opened it.

"If you want to live. Then you need to listen closely."

"I'm listening," Kuxirra said as Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal opened the door. "I will say, if my parents don't hear from me within twenty-four hours, they will come after me. Angry Togruta, especially mothers, are a force to be reckoned with."

"We're being pulled in by a tractor beam. I need you on the turret." He said simply. "And I doubt you want to be caught by the first order. So what do you say, fight and live, or sit here and die?"

He wasn't intimidated by the threat of a togruta mother. He'd been fighting since the day he was born, a togruta woman posed no threat to him.

"I don't like the idea of killing," Kuxirra said, "but I'll help. You'll need to release my hands."

The thought of killing someone made the bile rise in her throat, but she swallowed it down.

"I just need you to disable the tractor beam, then we'll be able to zip away." He told her, dropping down and freeing her wrists. "Don't make me regret trusting you."

Once she was freed he got to the cockpit and began to punch in coordinates into the nav computer and warming up the hyperdrive. Now she just needed to damage their tractor beam.

Kuxirra nodded. "I can do that," she said, mostly to herself. "I hope I don't disappoint." After her hands were freed and she was pointed in the right direction, the Padawan made her way to the turret. She had studied the schematics of various capital ships during her super soldier training for just this purpose. The Togruta aimed where she knew the tractor beam generator to be and fired.

Even without the Force, her aim was incredible. Her training had seen to that. She fired off a few more shots just in case, whooping when she felt the ship move forward again, the tractor beam gone.

"Good. I'll see you when we're loose." He says to her before making his way to the cockpit.

Her shots hit home. The distance made the shots a little less effective, but her firing a few times took care of the problem without issue. And they were off.

The stars lengthened, and the hyperdrive engaged. They went off. "Not a bad shot kid. Where'd you get so precise?"

"At the lab I told you about," Kuxirra said. "I was trained to be a super soldier, able to kill someone in a hundred different ways in under a minute—unarmed. I can kill even more ways with a weapon. But I can't. It hurts me to see others suffering, and to be the cause of that suffering..." she trailed off, leaving it to Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal 's imagination.

"Yes, that does seem to fit." He mused.

He removed his helmet and set it aside, letting her see his face, his bright blue skin and glowing blue eyes. The former a basic trait of his people, the latter not so much.

"Tell me about this doctor you were so adamant about avoiding?"

Kuxirra sighed. "When I was three months old, I was stolen from my parents by people who brought me to Dr. Veinstein. He did a lot of genetic experiments on me, and as a result, my speed, strength, stamina, and senses are enhanced, but it came with side effects: I have ADHD and autism. When I was about fifteen and a half, the labs were destroyed, and I left. I managed to find my parents six months ago."

Kuxirra shrugged. "The ADHD? Force, it's insane. I get distracted by anything that moves. When I was on Hoth, I kept getting distracted by the snow." She laughed. "I'd stop and watch every snowflake fall. As for the autism, it isn't super severe. For the most part, it's just social stuff. I sometimes have a hard time with social cues, and I might monologue every now and then."

He threw his head back to laugh when she mentioned being distracted by snow. "Well that explains why it didn't take very long despite your obvious skill. Go ahead, sit." he said gesturing to the other seat beside him. "You might be worth keeping around, even if you're distracted by clouds."
