Private A Slave, A Slaver, A Friend.

Grey Jedi Padawan/Cinnamon Roll
As Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal told Kuxirra to sit, she nodded and sat in the indicated seat. "Oh yeah, clouds are distracting," she said with a grin. "But usually when I'm in a battle, the movements of the enemy and the blasterfire grab my attention. There's usually a lot more movement in a battle than in the surrounding area."

"I suppose that's true. And I imagine it lets you notice more than one would normally be able to, which could even be and advantage in a fight." He contemplated whilst the stars zipped by them in hyperspace. "So you can use the force, but you carry no lightsaber. Why?"

Kuxirra nodded, looking into hyperspace. "I tend to notice things others don't. It can be helpful, but it's usually distracting." At the question, Kuxirra sighed. "I don't feel ready for a lightsaber yet. I know what it will look like. I don't know how, but I just know. I'm not sure if I can trust myself with a lightsaber yet. It's deadly. True, I've dealt with deadly weapons before, but there's something about a lightsaber..."

"Everything has it's ups and downs. For example I can see heat, but too much of it can hurt my eyes, and easily injure them, so I fair better in cold places."

"I suppose I could understand that. I definitely understand not being ready." He said with a nod.

He looked directly at her. "What's your name?"

Kuxirra grinned. "You can see heat? That's awesome! What's it like?"

"Technically I see infrared light, which is heat. As for what it's like, it's hard to describe. It's just the way I've always seen. I can see the "visible spectrum" to the lower infrared wavelengths. I don't really know how to describe it."

At his question, she extended a hand. "Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri. What's yours?"

Despite himself, he took her hand, "Xurux Jeshal."

Kuxirra didn't exactly forget what he'd done to her. It had just slipped her mind for the time being. "I'm sixteen."

"Twenty seven." He told her. She was a lot younger than he thought she was. But that was irrelevant. Whether or not she was an adult yet didn't much matter. He still had customers to satisfy, and slaving was his livelihood. But this girl was already growing on him. Maybe he wouldn't sell her, he'd need to find someone else to enslave and sell, but really, she was tugging at his heart strings. She was his first target ever, and he was having a lot of trouble ignoring what he might be taking from her. "You look a lot older if I may say so."

Kuxirra nodded as Xurux Jeshal Xurux Jeshal told her his age, raising an eye marking as he said she looked older. "I look older but I act younger. I really give people a hard time guessing my age, don't I? It was a result of genetic tampering. Either that or my family's just tall. I mean, Grandmother Ahsoka was a little more than ten centimeters under two meters."

He cocked his eyebrow. "Ashoka? You mean the Clone War jedi who used to be Darth Vader's apprentice? That happened far too long ago for her to be your grandmother but she's your ancestor? Really?"
