A Taste of Freedom

Michael smiled "Of course not" he splashed her with some water "Crystals you say maybe I can get a new one for my lightsaber" he hauled himself out the water pulling off his armor and shirt to dry in the sun while they explored the cave water dripped down his scared,tattood muscular frame "So [member="Anastasia Rade"] shall we get going sunshine".

"I was thinking of just getting one to have one or maybe sell them. I know it sounds terrible but I'm lacking in the everything department. I could really use them to help me get on my feet so I don't have to live in a sack on the floor or with someone." It was high time that she was independent and did things for herself. Anastasia didn't expect it to be a cake walk but she wanted to try.

Stepping through the waterfall she came upon a hole in the cave big enough to crawl though. The young seer had been hoping for something bigger but it seemed that this would have to do. Pulling herself into the little hole she began to crawl through hoping that he would follow suit. The young woman hated small dark places so she was glad when it opened up to a big cavern.

Michael walked through the waterfall, and crawled through the hole it was a snug fit but it wasn't too bad he pulled a glow rod out of his belt with a ginger snap the rod turned on pulling out a second stick and turned it on giving it to Anastasia "Here these should last about 40 hours each" Michael was amazed by the cave "well this certainly is a treat" marching forward into the gaping maw the light of his glowrod slowly ate away at darkness Michael offered his hand"Ready to find those crystals sunshine" he gave a cheeky wink.

She didn't know what he was referring to as most of her life had been spent in a cage. The young seer didn't know he was talking about her butt as the view which as probably a good thing as she would have been quite embarrassed. The way Anastasia looked was of no concern to her, it never had been. All she wanted to do was find those crystals and go exploring. "Sure, let's go." She grinned skipping along ahead of him. She was obviously quite excited about seeing these crystals. The young woman had never seen crystals before and she wondered how they would look.

Michael shook his head as he followed her , he didn't know where she got the energy to just keep going on and on. The cave began to wind and bend as they went deeper in a faint glow emitted from up ahead and with each step the light grew brighter and brighter as if the crystals called to them to come closer l, like the hypnotic song of the sirens luring sailors to their death in a watery embrace while their intent was unknown the crystals did beckon to them.

She was a ball full of energy as she slowed down so he could catch up with he but mostly because she didn't want to miss a thing. It was much more than just a bunch of rocks to her. Each of the rocks was shaped and protruding out differently than any of the others. "Do you hear that?"

Turning around she looked at him stopping for a second to wait for him to catch up with her. It would also do her good to settle down a little. There was plenty of time to see everything and do everything that she ever wanted. He was nice enough to come along with her.

Michael turned his head "Yes I heard something" his muscles tensed up for a momment he slowly moved his hand to the hilt of his lightsaber he breathed deeply in and out as he let the force flow through his body "And I thought this would be boring " he smiled a wolfish smile his teeth gleemed slightly and his pronounced cainines flared making him look like a wild animal.

"Boring? How could exploring a cave be boring?" She questioned as she forgot the noise for a second. If he didn't want to be here, she wasn't making him come along with her. The young witch had always been just fine on her own.

The noise became louder as she awaited an answer from him. She should have been more worried about that however she really wasn't. [member="Michael Steelfang"]

"While the company may be pleasant I have prefered combat over exploration sunshine" Michael reached into the compartment on his belt amd pulled out a second lightsaber "Here consider it a gift from me" he tossed the saber over to Anastasia he squared his shoulders to the sound he was ready to face whatever came head on, it was the Mandalorian way of things

"It's nice to sometimes stop to smell the roses though. You have to enjoy life or else what are you fighting for?" Anastasia knew that right now wasn't exactly the time for telling him how she wanted to enjoy life. They needed to fight something whatever it was.

"What is this?" She blinked at the saber that he threw her. The young witch hadn't exactly seen anything like this before.

Michael chuckled "Why smell the roses when I have the most beautiful being in the galaxy right next to me" he gave her a cheeky wink "And that sunshine is a lightsaber a weapon for noble warriors able to tap into the force , in my case bend it and the world with the force to my will but what you do with the force is for you to find out." he ignited his saber the cave was swathed by emerald green light from his saber as it came to life burning away the darkness it emitied a low growl like a dog of war ready to drag all it's foes kicking and screaming to the doors of hades

She couldn't understand why but she began to blush slightly as he told her she was beautiful. Anastasia couldn't understand why though as she never thought of herself as pretty or anything like that. Her looks had always been an issue for her that she had tried to hide often.

"Let's go," she grabbed his hand to run as she heard the roars getting louder. She didn't want to meet that thing and have to use the light saber thing. She was a witch, she didn't use such things but he didn't need to know about that.

"Alright if you insist" he was pulled along by the surprisngly strong girl further into the cave it was at this time he was wondering what the heck he was getting himself into with this job and going along with this girl into a cavern on Dantooine this was all begining to seem like one of those corny holo romance movies but he was still enjoying the company at least.

“Well, unless you would like to get eaten by whatever it is that is following us. I’m just you know learning how to live my life at the moment not so I don’t know any spells yet. I figure that I need to center myself before I get into all of that other stuff if that makes sense.”

Luckily enough for both of them as they walked the roaring became more and more distance which was good. The last thing that she needed or wanted was to need to be a damsel in distress again or look like one. That part of her life was hopefully behind her for good now.

"That sort of makes sense your lucky I am attracted to you or I would have made us stand and fight" he turned round and cracked off a single rocket from his multi weapon causing a chunk of cave to crash down cutting off the monster's acess from the duo well for now at least "We can stop running now" the roaring subsided for now and they were left in a tunnel that was only lit by the soothing glow of crystals "Well this is a spectacular view"

Anastasia was a little confused by the whole attraction thing. The last time she received such attraction it had ended up rather bad for her. She had always done well hiding her beauty but now it seemed that wasn't working as well as it used to for the young woman. It was probably because she showered regularly now.

"You know, I do know how to fight. I'm not afraid of standing up for myself. You'll find I'm more than just a pretty face." She stated as the stopped running. She needed to and wanted to learn she could protect herself.

"Wow, it is beautiful. So I have been missing things like this." The view on its own was quite calming and peaceful. There was a part of her that just wished to stay here.

Michael smiled "I am sure you can defend yourself " he stepped closer to the young woman he brushed a lock of hair out of her face "Still more stunning than anything else in the galaxy" he still couldn't believe the situation he was in it seemed like fate had thrown these two together he didn't mind but it does seem like things could become even more interesting .

"Now, would you be talking about me or the view?" She teased looking at him. Anastasia wasn't used to compliment or anything to that nature. She wasn't used to positive interactions in the slightest or what to do when situations such as this arose. It was obvious he was attracted to her but ever since she had been rescued her emotions were a wave of a million different things. She didn't know what to think at the moment about anything.

"I'm going to get a better look," she stated as she slowly made her way down the slope so that she could get a better look at the crystals. A part of her also wished to reach out and touch one but she dare not incase it would break. "Are you coming along?" She looked back to him hands on her hips as she spoke.

"Well of course I am coming along I still have my job to do" he jested as he followed her down the enbankment "And yes I was referring to you [member="Anastasia Rade"] " the crystals lit up the cavern in a mixture of blue,green with splashes of less common colours this was proving to be a very interesting day he cast his gaze to one crystal in particular it bore an unusual color a very light reddish color to the point it was almost pink he edged himself slightly closer to the crystal he kneeled down next to it "Hey come take a look at this crystal" it seemed like the perfect gem for Anastasia.

"Oh what a terrible job you have. I think you should use the cash you get on me. I need a new wardrobe, a place to live, a pet." She laughed a little as she spoke as she was semi joking with him on what she wanted. It was his money and she would never ask anyone to spend anything on her. She liked to work for what she had.

The crystals were beauty and if she could she would stay right here forever amongst the crystals safe from pain and the horrors of the galaxy. She turned as she was called to breaking herself away to go look at something.

Kneeling down she looked to the crystal so different than the others. A beautiful pink color which made it stand out amongst the others. "It's so different. Do you think I could have it?"
