He nodded. "If you can run in that, yeah, it's fine. Alright, change back and then I'll buy the clothes."

After buying the clothes, Leyan began to notice something as they walked back to the ship.​

"Jak? Why aren't there any animals in the trees? I haven't seen anything in the canopy. Or heard anything really, either..."​

"Yeah... all the animals are on the ground. There are a few birds here and there, but all the animals are down below. And they'd love to have Wookiee for dinner..."

Leyan tried not to think about what monsters were below them. She hoped she never had to find out, either.​

"Yeah, so... don't trip," Jak advised. "And stay away from the edges..."

Leyan wouldn't have any trouble following those rules. She instinctively moved closer to Jak as her eyes stared over at the edge of the walkway.​

Jak wasn't worried in the slightest, but just to make her feel safer, he moved closer to the center of the walkway.

"Almost dusk," he pointed out. "Taxi's just up ahead."

It was a short ride back to the ship. Leyan took that time to think about what she'd seen that day. Trees taller than life, a people who looked as if they were monsters, and Jak pointing everything out and explaining to the best of his ability for her. She'd never learned so much in a single day before.​

"Where will we go tomorrow?"​

"Tomorrow, we're going to be in hyperspace all day, and the morning after we arrive at Lok. I have a job interview there, and I need to be on time."

He opened the ship up and gently gestured her in. "We can practice Force and plant stuff during the trip. Right now I'm bushed." He grinned. "Pun intended."

Leyan made a small laugh as they boarded the ship.​

"Maybe you'll teach me how to turn into a bush..."​
