Act III: Insurrection

@[member="Sochi Ru"] @Rasu Gan @Tallia Farn @Drake Blackwood

KURSED-Streets

Marek scoffed at Tallia's remark, he knew this girl, Cale had spoken of her often, prior to death. Akala had given him purpose, order, after he lost Galen and Cale. In actuality he'd been possessed some years after, being captured as the last rebel on Coruscant, but they wouldn't know that. They wouldn't live that long. "You all defy she who brings the galaxy to order, you cause death and strife EVERYWHERE." He bellowed angrily.

Suddenly he chuckled, "Besides, you aren't dressed according to code." stepping towards them and pointing to his helmet, a sick grin underneath. Marek moved the hand from pointing to an open palm and unleashing a wave of raw telekinetic energy in a ferocious force push. "Everyone Wears A Mask."

IN THE STREETS SKIRTING THE CITY

The pale skinned man crouched low as he skirted the city on one of the outlying streets. He was on his way to the distant citadel but what he would find he didn't know. His twin lightsabers were still on his belt and his torn black robes were of course in proper Jedi fashion. If Kira could see him now dressed like a real jedi and moving toward the enemy.

He was ready for a fight but the urge to return to the darkness was strong. It would be much easier to kill with a butcher knife than a reed but he wasn't their yet.

Teras Kasi having given Andreas an aptitude for predicting attacks knew just what to look out for by the short time it took his opponent to close the distance and throw his arm-breaking kick. This fight could turn out to be fun if drawn out, but they were in the middle of a battlefield as of now and this fight would have to end with great speed. Speaking of speed...the Czar definitely was fast, but with his kick, he was simply handing Andreas the source of his balance and speed over on a silver platter. And he'd take it from him him and savor it's gift.

The merc moved his arm (which happened to be the one that was holding his blaster) up and wrapped it around Northstar's leg as soon as it connected with his ribs--the damage being absorbed by the enhanced durasteel and thermal gel layers that make up his suit--and continuing to use the other arm to elbow his opponent's trapped leg in the knee, damaging it severely if not shattering it armor or not, and using that same arm to backhand punch Northstar right in the temple to stun him. He would also use the blaster in the arm wrapped around his opponent's leg and shoot him in the other thigh. This would completely eliminate the use of his legs and leave him a sitting duck as he let him go to fall to the ground.

Andreas did not underestimate his opponent's ability to counter-attack, but he did know that he outsped the Czar and easily maneuvered fast enough to prevent any interruptions from him.

There was a very, uncomfortable laughter from behind Talon.

"And where do you think you're going to? Akala demands your blood. Demands your life extinguished. And I shall deliver."

Tracyn reached up his hand, and with the other, removed his lightsaber. He smiled at the younger Jedi, his crushgaunt-adorned hands curling around his lightsaber hilt. Tracyn tapped it along the ground, the sizzle of the blade scorching the debris that littered the ground.

Talon didn't need the force to tell him what thay laughter meant. It was not the sort of thing that was easily forgotten. As a Sith he had heard similar many times.

Talon stood up straight. He didn't need to play mouse now that the cat had found him. Talon tried to stay calm, he tried to keep serene but this place in these circumstances made him tired of playing calm and collected.

He turned to see the brute of a man and Talon had tried to kill Mandos just enough to know what those gauntlets were. He pulled one of his blades off his belt and ignited the silver blade.

"Then why waste your time running your suck." Talon said with a darkening grin as he took a Niman stance. "Can't keep Akala waiting."

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn's body shifted into a Djem So stance, his blade tipped downward at the Jedi. He smiled at him. He didn't need to use all of his training to best him, just most. He instepped towards him, his right leg coming before the pivot on his left. His blade moved quickly, in a horizontal slash at Talon. It was packed with raw, hate-filled power. His speed was incredible, and his technique was impressive, to say the least. For one who had spent his entire life on the battlefield, it showed remarkably.

"You will fall here, Jedi."

Tracyn said, as his blade moved to slam into his, and initiate the fight.

Rebel-Running along the wreckage, looking for someone.

It wasn't long before he finally came to terms with his own duty, twenty years it had said and this planet of it all. This was where he grew up in his teenage years but what could it mean. It couldn't be right, but he gotten info from a fellow mandalorian that they were fighting something. Worshipers of akala, as the field rained with blood. Blaster fire, explosions and blades were locked in combat. The young child was trying to regroup with someone, so that he could get the support to overcome the incoming forces.

That was when he spotted two figures willing to chit-chat in the middle of a battlefield. He decided to come up to them, he was watching them from his mask. Wondering if they were friend or foe, but once he got closer to the two. He felt the aura of a jedi, but the other was someone that he seen and knew about. Her green skin, stories among the sith and ramblings of exploits from one of his employers had jogged his memory.

"Circe Savan? Your here as well..." He said out of the blue behind his mask, disturbing the two.

Eenes' mind spun. 857? How is that possible? Her gaze remained intent on the other woman as she tried to sort through everything. Well, so much for answers. All I got from her was more questions. "Apparently so." She had no idea what to do now. Stay and see if she could get help? Run before she was attacked? Attack herself? She dismissed the last almost before she finished thinking it - even if the other woman's blaster wasn't ready, she hadn't been provoked. Still, may as well be thorough. Let's stay for now - plenty of time to run later if needed.
She took a step forward, keeping an eye on the weapon. "So, we were both warped to Mandalore tewenty years in the future, no idea how, and neither of us have any idea what's going on beyond that." She didn't know if the other had heard Carn's call, which strongly implied there were more Jedi around, and so didn't include it in her rundown. "So what happens now?"

They were disturbed by another voice, directed to the other woman. Circe Savan. Interesting. She looked to the newcomer, turning so that she could see both of them at least with peripheral vision. These two seemed to know each other; perhaps it would be wise to allow them to speak first.

Talon held his blade vertically and squared his body off to absorb the blow. Talon was stronger than a human but the blow was a practiced thing. Talon stopped the blade and shot our his hand to force push the kursed one away.

In Umbris Potestas Est
"Indeed..." She didn't recognize the Sith Apprentice at all, but meh. It was better to keep things in the dark. "Well, I can tell you that the last time I remember being in 837ABY was when I was testing out a hyperspace stabilization device. I don't know exactly what happened, but a hyperspace fluctuation could've brought at last me through time. I have no direct connection to either of you, however, which implies that it wasn't the solid reason."

She eyed another shooter in the building across and fired a charged shot at it. "There we go..." The room again ignited into a bolstering fury of flame. "Mist atomizing pistol. I have a spare one holstered. Fully charged, this thing will vaporize a human being, or any other sentient. I doubt it would be easy for someone to block with a lightsaber. And assumedly that'll come in handy if a Sith's behind this chaos."

She reloaded her weapons, hoping for the best.

Rebel Traitors Running Away - Kursed

Bluejay emerged fully from her cover. She was wary - she knew Calico was a brilliant soldier (although he did have a tendency to get injured, she'd heard) - and she knew he would certainly be willing to keep fighting. Still, she walked over to him, staying carefully out of arms reach. Studying the fallen commando, Bluejay sighed and holstered her pistol. It was hard to kill a comrade. Even a traitorous one.

Then he ran, and...well, that was that. Feth. Now I have to follow them again.

He watched the two, her interaction might have been expected from the stories. Besides, he was some low ranking apprentice who bounced from master to master. No one had stayed around to teach him fully, only bits and pieces of what he could do. Now the jedi on the other hand was just someone that he could hide behind for protection. He could take care of himself, but he always liked back up in the form of a shield.

"Who are you, jedi?"

@[member="Eenes Kokad"]

That was when Circe had used her pistol to take out a gunner in the building across the street. It was a well played shoot and the weapon she used was able to deliver massive amount of damage in a single shot. He listened to her say that she had another in her holster, which made him look towards it. He was skilled in all forms of weaponry being raised on his planet and his Buir had taught him well.

"Can I use it then? We might need a second shooter, encase something else goes wrong."

Tracyn tumbled, and slammed into the debris, his armor taking the impact of the blow with a lot of noise. He looked up, spitting ash and dirt from his mouth.

Hate filled his body, and then rage accompanied it. It empowered his muscles, and gave him astounding speed and strength. It was Tracyn's only truly well-practiced force ability, enhancement. He charged at Talon again, dragging his lightsaber behind him, before coming up in a vertical slash aiming for his thigh, to cut upwards from his right thigh to his left shoulder, right through his torso. There was a sick grin on Tracyn's face. He was relishing the feeling combat, and looked forward to the sensation of his blade sinking into the flesh of the Jedi.

Rebels - Near Tunnels

The artificial life was literally leaking from all sides on Zius. His breathing was becoming shallow. He pressed his back against a nearby wall and closed his eyes for a moment-- his comm buzzed alive with the static of hope. A hope that he had sought beforehand and never came, he pushed through this mess just to take a breather for a while.

His vision blurred for a second before he winced at some of the pain that filtered through his near-dead nerves, a sharp pang branching out through his chest as he exhaled slowly to respond to the call made by the commander he fought alongside on Coruscant some time ago. Great shot he was, or was that someone else? No time to ponder.

"Heh... great to hear a familiar voice. This is Zius Aurus of the Templars, what's your situation?"

The Ex- Jedi Hunter coughed lightly, tasting the metallic distinction of his own blood. Not a good sign, but his suit would keep him alive for now.

"It's been a long night, and I'm just about tired of not knowing whatever's happening to this place. Had to carve my way through the city just to make friends with quite a few blaster rounds...hah."

He picked himself from his slouched position, firmly grasping his lightsaber once again to see that it was also stained with some dried blood. All these people and this planet, was it doomed to wither and crumble under the weight of war? Was this truly the fall of a planet? More questions than answers were being produced at this point; however, Zius didn't back down from a fight because of a flesh wound. He'd take it all and still thrust his crimson blade into the sternum of whomever they were. This was not fight of flight, this was war. War doesn't accept cowardice, only casualties and the man able to stand on top of them.

Break saw through the gas and made a wise decision to take cover for now. Dodging the shots just barely his armor becoming a pincushion. He made it just in time to avoid a large explosion.
His target had moved into the building and Break was not about to give up. He snuck his way in silently as to not inform his prey

"Duly noted," Eenes replied as she eyed the flaming room across the way. She thought she sensed an unspoken threat in Circe's description of her weapon. No, weapons.
She turned her attention to the newcomer, pausing a moment to consider her reply. There was no point in hiding that she was a Jedi - he had already addressed her as such - but dropping her full name would likely not be wise. "I am Knight Kokad. And who might you be?" Truthful, yet distant and formalized. True, it gave away her rank, but Knights ran the full gamut of experience level. With any luck, she could keep them guessing. And with more luck still, he'll answer.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
Sone of a sithspawn. What was he supposed to do here? Where was he going to get himself going? He had his gear, and his instincts. Where was he supposed to go? He shook his head. This was going to fall into the bit where he needed to find his people. Were the Templar even around? How did he get to Mandalore? Right, that stuff didn’t mean a frelling thing.

He didn’t even realize he had his comlink until it started to go on. Great. That code. Wonderful. He shook his head and picked up. “This is Marek Starchaser to Calico Two Four Seven. Roger your transmission.”

Just keep your head down, Starchaser. And rendevous. Go. Now! He had to keep thinking at himself until he was moving. Slugthrower at the ready, he would make his stand behind his weapons, if he needed to.

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
Rebels - Surface, In front of the supposed bathhouse

Galaar was just about to bring his foot to the door when he was virtually tackled by another clone from behind. The next thing he noted in his blurred, broken vision was Calico's green-plated helmet. His brother clone would likely note the fact that Galaar's skin was paling from blood-lost. "What in kark are you doing here, di'kut," he reached up and slapped the side of Calico's helmet in both a friendly a brotherly way, "you're supposed to be running chabaar from Bluejay an' this? Oh. I took a stab for the runt." He pointed up at Canal.

He had that grin across his face, the grin he always had somehow no matter how much poodoo he was in or the amount of pain he was in. His eyes followed the medical gear being passed back and forth and Calico shouting orders as usual and even at Voroll. "Whoa! Whoa! Vo'ika here is a Imperial Knight or something from the Fek, Fik, Fen, baah! Slag it! He's one of those force-users, the good ones. he's the one that helped me get my shebs off Raxus Prime. Jate'kara vod."

As the tube was suddenly shoved, rather painfully into his exposed chest cavity, like so many bad jokes he clentched his jaw and grunted. Calico! I am going to feed you to Lor'ika! As if on que the Strill came back from around the building and gave Calico a friendly then worried growl as its master's brother basically performed surgery on the field. "Ca'ika! I am going to pay you back for this! Haar'chak, gar shaknah di'kut. Ibac ori get'shuk than a rancor ripping me from belly to shebs! You owe me!"

Rebel - Streets

Feeling the presence of familiar beings, Rasu turned to see Tallia Farn, a fellow Jedi Knight, and one of the few who were still opposing the rule of Akala. Allowing a smile to reach her lips, she allowed Sochi to speak for her, letting the Togruta express the pair's concern and relief at her arrival. The woman seemed okay, well apart from the scraps and bruises, but from what she could see there was nothing that looked too painful.

Her spine tingled with danger sense, and following Sochi's movements she turned with her, watching as sparks flew from the clash of the two Jedi's blades. Pushing out with the Force, she sent a surge of Force energy towards her Master, creating some distance between the man and the four Jedi. The next few words that left his mouth, caused her heart to fall apart, this wasn't the man she loved, he would never have spoken with such malice and venom, not the Master that had raised herself and Sochi from Padawans.

"This isn't you Marek." she screamed back, tears beginning to slide down her face. Sending her own telekinetic shove to clash and hopefully stop the flow of his own, she leaped into the air, bringing her blades down on his. "And if you can't see it, if you can't fight to win back control..." she said through gritted teeth, tears seeping out of her brown eyes, "THEN I'LL DO IT FOR YOU!" She knew that her emotions were getting the better of her, so leaping back again, she drew in a deep breath, centering herself. Opening her eyes with renewed determination, she allowed her sabers to drop to her side, ready for the next attack that would no doubt come at the hand of the person she cared about most.
