Alchemy Body Enhancements

Turning around after hearing a voice, he turned and stared at a man, a few inches taller than himself. Without hesitation, he pulled his lightsaber from his belt and ignited it instinctively. He kept his eyes on the man as he inched away, knowing he couldn't trust anyone he came across. He didn't answer the man's question in fear it would penalise himself.

What. The. Frell. Jarven was simply dumbfounded by this reaction. All he was trying to do was make simple conversation. But, no. Apparently, that was the latest way to instigate a duel. His cybernetic reflexes kicking in, Jarven whipped the repulsor rifle off of his back and leveled it at the kid as he had ignited his lightsaber. Now, Jarven wasn't interested in fighting a kid. He had gone through training, and the challenge of a Jedi punk was well below his ken. However, no one likes a rave stick of death waved around their face.

"What? Is there some kind of mental ward nearby? Are they passing out lightsabers as part of some new therapy? Listen, kid. No one likes children playing with knives, let alone lightsabers. Either stand down, or I'll put you down and onto your shebs."

Before either of the two trespasee's could get far, a squad of 6 men all armed to the teeth, with Betty Blaster's, Lola shotguns, and even two fo them wielded lightsabers. All were black ops, and specially trained in the ways of each weapon they held. But that was not the great part. Behind that group could be heard sets of consistent tapping. When looked to find the sound, it was dual large REX droids.

"Deactivate your weapon, and follow us. Now." The head of the squad said.

How a child and fellow friend, had managed to get by the security in the building was outrageous. But they would handle it now. It wasnt going to be the guards fault that Damien slaughtered them all.

------------------------

Damien smiled, "Sounds good. The building is finally now opening. So in a few we should have a candidate..." Damien paused, sensing the arrival of his SEC-TEAM, "What the feth." He muttered then threw open the door, staring at the two people outside in the hall.

"How did you get in here?" Damien said, then reached out in the Force, infusing his words with a calming effect, "PLease come in."

He frowned, keeping his lightsaber tightly in his grip as he looked around each face. He wanted to evaluate his outcomes before submitting, to see what his chances were. Instinctively, self defence was the first option.

"No. Why should I?" he asked, keeping the blade raised and balanced. He knew the odds weren't in his favour particularly. He ignored Damien and kept his focus on the guards, poised to attack.

"Oooooooh, kark" whispered Jarven. He unequipped his rifle, putting it on his back. Lightsabers!?! What kind of karking rich company is this to hire Jedi!!!??! *groan* This day had gone from tense and adventurous to bad... Turning his head to the boy, he said sarcastically, "Now you've gone and done it. Just HAD to wave your flashlight around, didn't ya'?..."

A man came threw open the nearby door in a fury, but then calmly collected himself and spoke to them. Now, the entire situation had Jarven entirely on edge. No amount of cotton air fresheners and puppies was going to get him out of the danger zone until he was out of here. However, he felt like this man was a friend (Thank you, Force pheromones...). Turning to the kid, he said, "Hey, bud? They've got two guys standing behind you with lightsabers. If you aren't shot first, then you'll be shaved to pieces. Just do what you came here to do and then leave."

Turning to the man, he said "Well, there was this sign on the front door that said, "Open". There wasn't anyone at the front desk, so I looked at your "You are here" map kiosk terminal. Then, I followed these paper signs it seems someone quickly put up. They led me here."

"Oh, yeah, don't mind if I do." Jarven entered the room, aware that it was best not to mess with the head honcho over something simple.

He groaned in annoyance at [member="Jarven Zexxel"] and glanced back at him. "Better be safe than dead." he said calmly as he edged away from the nearby guards. He couldn't be blamed for defending himself.
"Don't underestimate me." he said to Jarven. He knew his lightsaber skills were far beyond that of other Padawans, though sometimes his reflexes would fail him. He continued to hold up his lightsaber, though only in defence. He certainly wasn't going to make the first move unless absolutely necessary. Not wanting to go into the room, feeling he would be trapped, he stayed exactly where he was.

Taeli sighed as she heard the commotion going on outside, she could feel a Jedi outside, even as she kept her presence closed and hidden. Honestly, Jedi really did seem to have poor timing when one was trying to learn something. Deciding to see what was going on, she walked out of the door Lord Daemos ahd gone through to see a merc and Jedi squaring off.

"What is going on out here?" she asked, annoyance on her face. "Can we not work in private here?"

Daemos was able to convince the merc to go into the work room, maybe not the safest plan for him, but he wouldn't know that just yet. That just left the Jedi outside.

Lowering his lightsaber, he looked around at all the faces, confused. "you tell me what's going on here. That's why I'm here." he said plainly, though he kept his lightsaber in hand just in case.
"What kind of work are you doing?" he looked at [member="Darth Arcanix"] then back at the guards. He was nervous, without his master, though it was his own fault for wandering off.
With the armed men still surrounding, he felt uneasy.

Damien laughed, firstly because the mercenary had been so easy to ensnare, secondly at the naivety of the youth, "Thank you for being so good with instructions." Damien said to the man as he passed into the room, then he watched as the youth backed himself against the wall - as they were in a hall leading to a single door, with the opening to leave blocked by trained militant men (trained by Damien himself) and the other blocked by Damien and a Sith Lord.

"You cant hope to get out of this situation alive unless I command it. Last chance. Lower and deactivate your weapon." Damien said calmly, meanwhile he began to do the opposite of his previous action, and now pumped fear into the air in droves.

Casting an eye to Dozer, and Nuke, two of the warriors standing guard, he nodded ever so slightly. Simultaneously they both drew their sabers and ignited them. Damien to then reached to his hip where the hilt of Kallig's Scorching Saber rested. Damien had slaughtered into the hundreds of innocents: he would have no difficulty adding another to that list.

Knowing he had no chance against these people, he did as they said, lowering and deactivating his lightsaber but kept it in his hand. He looked between the people in front of him, unafraid. He may have been brave, but he wasn't stupid.

"So you're going to let me live now, right?" he asked, though it was clear there was a hint of nervousness in his voice. Knowing he was trapped, backing himself against a wall, he had no other option.

"He could be useful still, Lord Daemos," Taeli said, coming up and placing a hand on the Knight's shoulder. "It's not every day one gets a Jedi Padawan to observe and put through their paces."

She had a part to play here, and she knew how to play it well. This young Jedi had been a bit too hasty in trying to get to the bottom of such a mystery, and now they had two subjects to test on, but this one was much more interesting than the merc who was waiting patiently in the next room was.

He frowned for a moment, before realising what she meant. He looked around for a way out but failed in doing so. For the first time, there was a flicker of fear in his eyes. No one was coming for him and there was no means of escape.

"You can't do that. The Jedi will seek you out and destroy you, I'm warning you..." he said, keeping his voice calm and steady. Though he doubted the Jedi even knew where he was. He kept his deactivated lightsaber in his hand, if he had any chance at all, the lightsaber would be his only one.

Damien paused, listening to his allies' words, then smiled at the boy's, "Can't do what? Take you into a room 'n' talk?" Damien asked, his brow arched. But his allies' words still rang out, and he knew they made sense. Stepping out of the way, he gestured to where the mercenary had gone, "Inside. Now." Damien finished.

(By the by, this is just a preliminary moment. If you don't want your characters changed, they won't be.)

Knowing it wasn't an option, he walked in the room. Though he knew full well that they weren't just going to have a chat. He finally put the lightsaber back in his belt and folded his arms. "What's going on?" he asked, frowning.

He didn't want to admit it, but he was more nervous than he had been in a long time. He was slowly losing his calmness and it was obvious by the look on his face that he was agitated. "Don't think the Jedi wont get justice if you do anything..." he muttered.

(you can change one thing below the shoulders if you want to, I'm fine with it [member="Lord Daemos"] [member="Darth Arcanix"] )

Watching [member="Fletcher Lorcan"] walk into the room, he could tell that the boy was nervous. Scared, even. He sauntered up to him, arms crossed. When he got near him, he said in a comforting tone, "Hey, man, we've got this." He smiled. "If we get in trouble, and you wave your rave stick in the right direction, then we'll be fine." Turning to the man in charge, he said, "So, I got a message that said something or another about modifications." He instinctively tapped his head without realizing it. Few people would realize that this meant he had, by some dumb luck, received the message in his mind.

"What kind of modifications are you talking about? Money's not really a problem right now. Taking down four crime families at once can do wonders to the victor's bank account."

[member="Fletcher Lorcan"] [member="Lord Daemos"] [member="Darth Arcanix"]

He glared at the Mercenary before looking away. He blamed the man for getting them into this situation in the first place. Even though his fear continued to build, he spoke with calmness and accuracy.

"It's your fault we're in this mess. If you hadn't come to talk to me..." he shook his head in dismay. "It's not a rave stick it's a lightsaber." he groaned in annoyance.

He paced up and down the room, his arms behind his back. He stopped suddenly after hearing [member="Jarven Zexxel"] say something. "Modifications?!" he exclaimed, looking at the man. "What modifications?!" he asked, the fear growing more and more, showing he was still only a child. He tried using the force to send a telepathic message to another Jedi, failing in doing so.

[member="Lord Daemos"] [member="Darth Arcanix"]

Turning around to the exclamations of the boy, Jarven said, "Geez, kid! That's what I'm trying to find out! Can't you read a newsletter? They're not here to sell ice cream and candy. What are you here for, anyway??"

[member="Fletcher Lorcan"] [member="Lord Daemos"] [member="Darth Arcanix"]

He looked the man up and down before turning away, partly to hide his fear. "That is classified information." he said calmly. He folded his arms before turning back around to the Merc. "What are you here for?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He stopped paying attention for a moment, focused on attempting to send a telepathic message.

[member="Jarven Zexxel"] [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Lord Daemos"]

Jarven laughed at the boy's response. With a grin on his face, he said "What? You don't want your mom to know that you're getting a tattoo or something?" He chuckled a little bit more before he answered the boy's question.

"I'm always looking to better myself, whether through training or technology. I saw the word "modification" in the ad and became interested. If it's just some cosmetic thing, than I'm not that interested. My girl likes me the way I am." After that last sentence, he smiled a wide grin and looked down at the ground.

[member="Fletcher Lorcan"] [member="Lord Daemos"] [member="Darth Arcanix"]

"No." he said, disgusted. "It is Jedi business and I wandered away from my master." he shook his head and sighed.

He suddenly looked alarmed by the Mercenary's words. "What modifications?! What are they going to do..." he asked, looking at the man for reassurance, not bothering to mask the fear in his eyes. For the first time, he looked like a scared child, despite him being seventeen.
