Always Reuniting with Family

Moving to the driver door, Zander climbed aboard, "This little beauty," He gestured to the vehicle, "Is soon to be on the market I take it. JAC, my old company will be putting it up for mass production if all goes well." Then he smiled at the woman as the craft rose a few inches, and he eased it upward as he accelerated, "Nice charm." Zander knew she would understand he had seen it. Who could he lie to? He liked jewelry and legs. Offering a mental shrug he moved on.

"Yeah, I believe your right. The journey usually turns out better than expected." He smiled again, memories of his time as Master passing through his mind. He had been one of the natural talents with Force Cloak to live, creating entirely new forms and techniques with it. This alone had made many a journey beyond anything he could have guessed towards.

"So, what kind of journey will this be?" His eyes dashed towards Alexis for but a moment again, then back to his driving. Gunning the lithe form forward, he slid between two other cars, then roared past. It was obvious that even for a prototype, the ship was fast.

He was observant too very rare in someone her encounters had led her to believe that men often did not look at the whole package they were often singular in their thoughts and only took notice of where their thoughts focused.

"Well I had not truly given it thought, we should begin in one of the most traditional of places. You know" She smiled giving him a sidelong glance, "small talk things like HI my name is Alexis" She grinned, "I'm from a small planet I like" She bit her lip as she thought, "umm I like sexy dresses, tall dark handsome strangers, men with a mind of their own, and long walks on the beach" She crossed her legs at the knee revealing the charm that he had remarked upon.

"Its your turn" She waited to see what he would say she did watch how he handled the ride a firm grip but not so tight that his knuckles had turned white no he was in control and had enough experience to not be flustered by the traffic. A Cool calm, she liked this.

..... Seriously? Owain was telling her no? She was almost too stunned to speak. Almost. Then her uncle decided to try to blame her for his own disappearance through some mind thingy. A mind thingy that felicity just did not have the ability to reply to. She wasn't her mother, for force sake! She couldn't just summon up talent at will! What did he think she was? A Jedi master? She was lucky if she could feel the force at all!
Fine. Owain wanted to stand here and get his face beaten in inside a shoddy hotel room? Fine. She wasn't going to turn down a free show. Maybe he might put up a fight... before glyph, you know, kills him.

Uncle z might even decide to finally cone back after he gets laid or whatever. Then she'd have words for him. Some of them involving some well practiced curses and very nasty phrases she learned from listening to a drunk Barnabus. She'd even get creative and use some of what she heard from the upper class when they thought nobody was listening.
' Did you find me a new auntie, uncle z?' She would ask, 'do you always abandon teenage runways for the first trashy peice of tail you find?' 'Was she up to date on all her shots?' ' You really shouldn't take in stays, Uncle. You've no idea where she's been! '
... and so on and so forth. She could think of hundreds of nasty things to say in response to this situation. Too bad she lacked the ability to talk into his mind the way he did hers.

"Go on then, crow," the blonde sighed, leaning against the wall, "impress me."

She blew him a kiss. Not because she thought he would see it, but because she thought glyph might. Maybe it would throw him off enough that Owain wouldn't get too completely destroyed in this fight.

"Im Zander. Was born on Tattooine, died on Annaj, and was reborn on Hoth." He gave her another smoldering glance, "Maybe some day I will explain that one. I am a man of mystery, always solving riddles or creating them. Love the color black, and usually am dressed leisurely - well more or less - except in battle or around someone needing to be impressed." He smiled, again showing his fangs, "I'm Miraluka-Vampir, a hybrid of course.

"Dont know what more to say as a quick introduction. Well, I guess I could add that spit fire blond back there is my niece, I am a Count on Coruscant, and built a billion cred company well before I found I was of noble blood." He said, a genuine shrug emphasizing the lack of care for the title. He started life as a lowly assassin with a taste for the lesser things, and only since becoming what he once was has he obtained rarer joys. Hell he didnt even own a suit until well after JAC's founding.

Turning the wheel slowly, he swept past a crowded transport, then gunned the engine again. She hadn't made any comments on their destination, so for now a drive was in the cards. From there he knew of hundreds of locales nearby that would be more than happy to house a Count and his wonderful guests.

Cambry Owens

A Pseudo-Mandolorian. Sort of.
Cambry pointed, whistling lightly under his breath at the side of the really pretty awful hotel. "Ooooo, sick burn. Crow's getting his wings clipped! Or something!" He sort of punched the air, apparently enthusiastic about Felicity's unheard rebuttal of Zander's behavior. Verne practically scoffed.
"While the man is a buffoon, the girl has run away from home with the ape fighting our target. Or so I've gathered."
The accusation could practically be heard in his electronic, very sarcastic, very clipped and proper voice.
"Is she any less crude?"
Cambry shooshed him rapidly and with much flurry of the hands, making the droid sort of recoil.
"I really wanna hear this." He sat a moment, and then nodded in a sort of exaggerated way.
"Yup, yup, I've changed my mind. Girl's alright."
Verne can't roll his eye, but if he could...
"I'm sure she will be pleased you think so. Now can we please just shoot the boy?"
Cambry raised an eyebrow over at the droid. "The bounty's for him living. Alive, you droid."
Verne sputtered impatiently. "Then shoot him Gently, I don't know."
Cambry succinctly turned back, and tweaked a tuning knob on the listening device. "Not yet. Quiet."
A puff of vapor shot violently out of the frustrated droid's dome. The Spacer didn't seem to notice, acting as a spectator to the drama below.
"Good to know what gets you interested...: Royal...Drama." Verne spat bitterly. Cambry still didn't reply.
The droid gave a dour beep.

Born, died, reborn oh he had her curiosity peaked now. Oh he was being flirty with those looks he kept giving her she could not help but smile back at him he was being a very good sport about all of this.

"Love the color black but I also like pink, red, and this color" She slid her fingers down the front of her dress, "is very nice" Dress leisurely she could only imagine what he looked like leisurely, relaxed, hmm yes a very intriguing picture. "Miraluka-Vampir" she tilted her head to look at him looking for the tell tale signs of the races he mentioned, he had his eyes so then perhaps that trait was that he could sense the force, or use the force. Vampir as in the energy seeking kind so then he really did have fangs. He was definitely a very unique individual. "I really am a farm girl from Dagro, but then you probably know all the things they say about the farmer's daughter" She smiled teasing him slight.

The part of about his title and his company was eh what would all of that mattered if he were the kind of man that knew nothing about how to treat people, or in this case treat her. "Your niece" Alexis gave a little chuckle, "it sounded like she was in a bit of trouble though Zander" She liked the way his named sounded with her Dathomiri accent. "Are you sure its ok to leave her to her own devices?" She wanted him to say yes, but at the same time family was important and she would understand.

She would wait for him to answer before going on, in the meantime she would enjoy the ride, and his company.

Glyph smiled as the shot came for his gut, having already solely been focused on Owain... or almost, until he saw the blown kiss and for a moment froze and then suddenly felt as all the wind in him shot from him like a cannon ball. He had been watching the air between Fel and Owain and didn't even register the pain and the inability to hold what air had been in his lungs, as he lay sprawled out on the ground trying to clutch at the air. He wished this was all a trick but he really had put up no defense because of the distraction.

Owain

Lord High Grand Commander Esq.
He had expected Glyph to offer some resistance, but instead the other youth folded like a leaf, sending the duo tumbling to the ground. Owain swore as he felt his knee scrape along the floor before tumbling off Glyph, putting some distnace between them. Hit and fade, keep the space wizards distracted. That is what his trianing had taught him. He got to his feet, ready for Glyph's next attackm but it never came. The boy seemed happy to let him dictate the flow of combat for now. Maybe he was meditating or something like that?

"Impress you? Haven't I done a lot of that already?" he asked Felicity innocently before smirking. Maybe Glyph was distracted by Felicity? That would...kind of make sense, though Owain had always heard that space wizards tended to be a tad...prudish.

That would explain a lot actually...

[member="Glyph"] [member="Felicity Mason"] [member="Cambry Owens"]

Her kiss had the desired effect. Glyph slumped. Owain would be free to back out now. Even though she knew he would never do that, she was still able to hope. Owain was stubborn. In some ways, it almost made her feel like they were absolutely destined for each other. And then there were times that she wanted to punch the stupid out of him.

"Oh yeah. Impressive, Crow," she replied, rolling her eyes and stepping forward, "Alright. End this boys. My patience is wearing thin."

She was starting to sound like her mother now.

"Let's go- both of ya! Adventure awaits!"

That was better. This way, her boyfriend wouldn't feel left out and she could get back to exploring the Galaxy at once. Sure, he and Owain might not get along, but she had to admit, the idea of two boys fighting over her attention did not sound too bad.

He blinked, still laying there as he finally got the air back into his lungs and looked to his side before starting to stare as he focused in on Felicity. His hands pressed on the ground before slowly sitting upwards and looking up at the sky again before crossing his legs under him.

"What are you talking about Fel?"

He was confused, one moment she was betting against him, then blowing a kiss to Owain... was Felicity touched in the realm of memory or something. He had no idea if there was or was not something going on for a moment or not. It was hurting his head now and he started to scratch at his neck.

Cambry Owens

A Pseudo-Mandolorian. Sort of.
Cambry raised his arms in defeat. "Fine! Fine, I'll go. I'll go."
The Spacer rose from his chair and threw on his helmet, though he left the face shield inactivated. Cambry slung on his gunbelt and equipment pack, and his jump pack, and moved for the ship ramp. Verne seemed silently satisfied.
The ramp lowered with a slight hiss. As he found himself descending it, Cambry squinted against the crisp daylight flooding the canyon-like streets. It took him a moment to get his bearings, but eventually he found the walkway off of the landing platform.
He preferred to deny to himself that it had taken as long as it did to get down to where the hotel was. He only got slightly misdirected, but as he had found himself there in the end, he didn't see how it mattered. Verne certainly did.
"At least you didn't end up on Tatooine."
"Shut up."
Cambry said this into his mic as he was passing a hunched-looking Rodian, who took immediate offense. A sudden flurry of indecipherable gibberish was launched at the bounty hunter as he recoiled, raising his hands defensively. "Woah, woah! Wasn't talkin' to you, buddy. Calm it down. Not you." He tapped his mic quickly. It took a few moments for the Rodian to lose steam, and stalk off muttering. Cambry shook out his jacket slightly as he looked after the creature with an eyebrow perched, before remembering his target.
He turned, eyed up the shabby looking hotel, and made to enter it. Now he was headed for the stairs, looking just like any other spacer or survivalist or something.
"'Scuse me." He offered as he sort of sidled past a Sullustian, who looked far more focused on the death stick in his mouth.

Owain

Lord High Grand Commander Esq.
Owain was lunging already when Felicity spoke. Somehow, the youth wound up tripping on his own feet and smacking his face on the floor before lying there for a moment, processing what she had said. He turned his head up to shoot the blonde girl a look as she spoke, already feeling a spike of jealousy. Glyph was going to go with them? Sure, the boy was technically her boyfriend but she had left him behind. What, this little scuffle was enough to convince her to give him another chance?

Urgh.

He stayed on the floor for a moment before speaking. "We can call it a draw for now..." he offered to Glyph reluctantly, pushing himself up. "Though Songbird?" he continued, focusing on Felicity. "You try to have everything, you'll wind up with nothing," he warned her. Owain Barnabus was not one to share.

Wait hang on, share what?

...oh blasted space wizards.

Growling in annoyance he stood up and checked his face for any bruises, reufsing to look at the other two teens.

[member="Felicity Mason"] [member="Glyph"] [member="Cambry Owens"]

Felicity glanced at Glyph, giving him only a mysterious little smile in response. She didn't have to explain herself. She didn't owe anybody anything anymore. She was a free girl. She was wild. She was...

Blushing.

She'd kissed Owain. She'd slept beside him. She'd told him things she'd never tell another soul, and all this time she thought her feelings were just her own, something she'd bury deep inside of herself and never let go. Never did she really fool herself into thinking he might feel the same. Until now.
His warning stung her deep. She knew it was true. If she took a wrong step, she might honestly find that one regret that could haunt her forever. After all, to a girl her age, today might as well be forever.

"Sh-shut up both of you," she shook her head, turning away from both of them, "You coming or not? I'll go by myself if I have to. I'm thinking maybe something in Jedi territory this time."

"Ill never understand you Felicity..." He used her full name, not her nickname, the full thing as he stood and crossed his hands behind him. With a careful glance he noticed something was off about her reaction to Owain's words and stared at Felicity for a few more seconds. Finally he just shook his head, closed his eyes, and straightened up before speaking. "Lead on you two."

Cambry Owens

A Pseudo-Mandolorian. Sort of.
And with that, Cambry arrived at the door to the room. In his right hand he gripped a blaster pistol, set to stun. His mask was still up (He had forgotten to lower it).
"Bring her in closer, Verne." He ordered. "I don't want to have to haul him the whole way."
The spacer took a moment to check his blaster, and then swiped his hand across the panel to open the door. As he had hoped, the crappy hotel security measures were...well, really not that hard for a droid to do away with.
The door slid open and the bounty hunter raised his arm as he spoke.
"Uh, Sorry."
Within a .75th of a second his aim had found Glyph, and when it did he fired. Twice.
Blue stun bolts flashed to the youth.
"I'll juuust be a sec."
It's just like him for his tone to actually be pretty friendly.

Owain

Lord High Grand Commander Esq.
Felicity seemed a touch more subdued. Good, she had heeded his warning then. He smiled slightly at that. He knew a thing or two about regret. Not as much as his uncle, but one was never too young to regret. He was regretting even now, giving Glyph a chance. Songbird hadn't chosen him to which her away, she hadn't chosen him to come running. No, she had picked Owain to accompany her.

The youth shook his head. Enough of that. The girl was too young to know what she wanted. They all were, he suspected. The raven-haired boy looked at Glyph. "After you. You are her bodyguard/boyfriend after all," he said flatly, shoving his hands in his pockets. And then some madman strode in and shot the other boy.

Owain blinked as time slowed. That was...convenient. He yelped and leapt backwards, away from the assailant and diving for cover. "Run Songbird!" he called to the blonde girl. He had no idea what was going on, but it would be best for Felicity to get as far from here as possible. Where the Force was her uncle when they needed him?

His mind clicked. A distraction. A basic one at that. Some sultry seductress to split them off from the greatest asset on their side, and leaving them to tire themselves out squabbling amongst one another. Kriff.

(Sorry, for a while I will be replying a little slower than I already have. My phone, which is my main way to get to posting, was recentlystolen. But I will be getting on, just even more rarely.)

When Zander's eyes were examined closely, one could always see a fluxing shifting mass of color, shining in certain lights, glowing in the darkness. His miraluka genetics had shown through, even in his previous form, as a way to see the Force like most did not. Hence his adept abilities at evasion: one could not conjure many offensive Force abilities without leaving 'a trail' and there fore it could be dodged.

"Her? Felicity? No. Shes quick to be decisive, loyal, and stubborn. So in other words exactly like her mother and myself. But if I were to stay in her bubble she would eventually grow extremely tired of such, then would voice said opinion. So it is better to simply keep track of her and then check up on her when I get the chance." He said with a shrug, "Besides she has two boyfriends back there that she is being yanked back and forth by - she will be fine from my guess.

"All of my blood line seem to be intensly independant." Zander murmured than turned the craft into a swift near 90 degree angle, passing in front of several cars that seemed close enough to cause a wreck - but he didnt even flinch. He was confident in his driving abilities. In his past life he had driven the Lightcycle at top speed multiple times.

"How about there for a place to get a bite to eat?" Zander said gesturing to a nearby theatre that sold heavenly food, and was critiqued as being a wonderful show case as well.

Do what you can when you can, I don't mind slow posting

Alexis looked over at where Zander was suggesting, "I have heard of this place though I've not ever had time to really go" Without thinking she reached over and touched his arm, "sounds great" She looked over at her dining companion, he was telling her quite a bit about himself really.

"I can be decisive on some things on other things I find I am watching looking to see what happens next, and then there are times when I see" She looked at him, "what I want and waste not time getting it." She gave him a mischievous grin. She had not had time to really look into his eyes but when she did she would most surely notice the coalescing colors of his eyes.

"I'm fully human though I love your teeth, do they have uses other than just being incredibly sexy looking?" He was moving them closer to where he wanted to eat.

Glyph waved his hand at Owain's comment about him being her bodyguard boyfriend whatever. Of course he was, but the problem is what he wasn't quite sure just how close he actually was to Felicity, hell he hadn't even learned this was a planned thing until just five minutes ago. He frowned though as he first sensed it and then heard it as it came far too close him.

Glyph's hand and body moved at a much faster rate than he had been able to do without the force, blade spinning as it connected with the first bolt and smiled as he hit the second on the back swing. Problem was the third slammed into his free arm and without a second he sealed off his nerves and channeled against the energy, though now his arm hung from his side unmoving.

Time seemed to slow. She was smiling, turning around to walk away. This drama was over. They could go about their day. She tossed her bag over her shoulder...
And shots were fired. She froze. Owain was yelling for her to run, but she couldn't. She just couldn't. Glyph. Her feelings were complicated, but she did care for him. If he died...

Her bag hit the floor. She was running. Running towards the shooter. She was going to hit him. Her fist was ready, aimed at his face. Se wasn't that good a fighter, but she was stronger than she looked. Much stronger.
