Anaxes Assemblage

As Orick had approached Anaxes, he turned off all of his stealth systems and flipped his engines back on. He was on his final approach and he was hoping that this next part would at least gem onto the ground. "Pols Anaxes ground control, this is Gunner Staygo. I have urgent information that needs to be relayed to Captain Vaiden. " He waited for the reply which he knew would be an ugly one.

" Gunner Staygo, state your purpose and intend or you will be turned away." The reply was harsh and direct. He knew that would be the case, he also knew that it at least got the conversation started.

"Ground control, I have it on good information that the person meeting with Captain Vaiden is in fact an imposter and possibly a wanted fugitive. I have been tasked with ascertaining their real identity and returning them for trial if it is the imposter." He was sure that would be enough to get him on the ground, which was all he really wanted to do. He knew that it would be a rough time when he was on the ground, but he was prepared to deal with it with more half-baked lies.

" Gunner Staygo, land at on landing pad 4. Do not deviate from your course, do not power up your weapons, if you do either of those things, you will be shot down." He knew that there were going to be fighters in the area to ensure that he didn't mess this up. He only hoped that he could find Ana before things got out of control.

He guided the ship towards the small landing pad and saw that there was a small contingent of stormtroopers as well as an annoyed looking officer waiting for him. I'm having way too many encounters with stormtroopers lately. he thought as he landed. He knew this drill very well. He made his way towards the cargo bay and slapped the cargo doors open. He wasted little time getting on his knees and placing his hands behind his back. As the storm troopers approached he looked at the officer and said "Just call Captain Vaiden, he will understand when I speak with him."

The young officer's day was met, when the Commander herself talked to her. She hastily bumbled out a reply, saying "We haven't met Ma'am! I haven't had the honour!" before letting loose a smile helplessly at the sight of figure she had seen plenty of times in the propaganda posters during her training way back in the Stormtrooper corps. She and her academy mates back in the days had often gazed upon such posters, and imagined themselves fighting among the ranks of esteemed figures in the future, and had pushed themselves to excel in whatever training they undertook. "Lieutenant Greta Kohler at your service Commander!" another crisp salute followed as she finished her introduction to the officer she had quite, pretty much admired.

"I was here to report my research and findings to the Commodore, Ma'am. He had asked for anyone in the corps to figure a way to come up additional interesting ideas and strategies for the Imperial Navy and the Army to work better in the future. I was here to present such, but it seems like the Commodore has been himself unavailable, despite long hours of wait." She seemed momentarily crestfallen at the mention of the situation, but soon brightened up when she remembered who she was in the presence of.

She'll rather meet the Commander instead of the Commodore anyway.

She had heard that, he was quite the boor.

The Lieutenant was quite enthusiastic but Tmoxin and her Hapan fondness towards female officers was not going to burst this young woman’s bubble over a little excitement upon meeting her. And of course, who didn’t like a bit of flattery every now and then? But if this was a male Lieutenant she would have grilled him more thoroughly on such notions as service and honor.

“Well, I can’t apologize for the Commodore,” said Tmoxin rising from the desk. “He is a rather busy man as I’m sure you can understand.” She utterly ignored the woman who was seated in the corner who looked exactly like her. It was as if the woman’s station was so low that the Commander didn’t deign to introduce nor speak to her.

“But let’s take a walk down the hallway, Lieutenant. I could use your help in finishing up a small task that Commodore Vaiden was working on.”

Tmoxin brought Greta to the laboratory where Anastasia Rade sat patiently waiting for Dr. Cesternino to return. The Commander entered the room, thoroughly inspecting the pretty blonde woman who was probably not expecting two higher ranking female officers to be there. It figures that he would pick this beauty as his “subject", Tmoxin thought. Men really did think with only one thing, didn’t they? However, the one detail that Hans Vaiden hadn’t told the Commander was that subject who was donating her blood did not know the real reason needed for her DNA and was a willing subject. Neither did Tmoxin, but it was important to some kind of research that the Commodore was involved in. So unknowingly, the Commander blurted out:

“So Lieutenant, this woman is donating her DNA for some type of research we’re doing, porbably having to do with Midi-chlorians counts. In any case, I’d like for you to oversee the rest of this task and make sure the Commodore is kept aware of when the results are in.”

As Ana waited for the Doctor to come back she began to flip through the Imperial Weekly magazine that she had been given to pass the time. She knew that things could take time to get set up but this was ridiculous and only made her nervous. The Imperials could be planning some other sort of “test” for her to go though. She was a witness to much of what the Empire was capable of doing. Taking a deep breath she crossed her legs again as she opened up the magazine.

The first page was just the table of contents listing all the articles inside. The synopsis of the Imperial Grand Ball did not interest her in the least. It was just fluff to hide what they really had going on being closed doors along with the other articles. She was sure that everyone ate it up though either because they were brainwashed or scared of the might of the Empire. Her family had been born into this so she placed them in the brainwashed category.

Turing the page after reading Interview with a Stormtrooper Ana heard voices and then the door opened. Placing the reading materials behind her Ana looked up to see two women enter the room neither of them being the doctor. She of course had questions but would wait until they were done speaking until something the one in charge, a guess, said something rather alarming.

“Excuse me but I wasn’t told anything about donating my DNA to science. The Captain told me that before I was allowed any further access to my family they needed proof of whom I was. A simple blood test, nothing more, I never agreed to be a part of an experiment.”

Ana could feel her heart begin to race as she sat there trying to keep calm. As a slave she had been put through many experiments and she wasn’t going to do it again. Getting mad wouldn’t help though as she was one and they probably had the room guarded by troopers. Taking a deep breath she smiled at the woman. “I’m sure it’s just a misunderstanding though. Could you tell me more about this experiment? I could let you know if my DNA would be of use. I would hate to waste anybody’s time.” As she spoke her eyes wandered a bit at the things in the room. Perhaps her shoe was going to be needed as a weapon.

[member="Tmoxin Temi"] [member="Greta Kohler"] [member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Ali Hadrix"]

Tmoxin blinked at the young woman's confusion over the experiment. What was all of this nonsense over her family? What did her lineage have anything to do with Midi-chlorians counts?

Unfortunately, the Commodore wasn't here to intervene so the Hapan officer stumbled along blindly in answering her questions:

"I don't know what you're talking about," she said. "I know nothing of a DNA test for your family." She wanted to burst out laughing at the ludicrous thought that a DNA test of that sort would be going on at an Imperial facility but then again, she knew how persuasive Hans Vaiden could be. Tmoxin had first-hand knowledge of his charm in a more private atmosphere after all. Perhaps this was what he told the attractive blonde girl in order to have her comply with the test?

The Commander frowned and said, "Unfortunately I can say no more about this experiment, especially if you weren't completely consulted about its nature." By the eternal core, where was Dr. Cesternino?!? Tmoxin did not want to be the one to kark up what appeared to be a more clandestine operation than she had originally realized.

She put a hand up as if to stay stop. "Now, now, you needn't be concerned over what we are doing. You came here of your own accord after all. Just sit there and be still. The doctor will be back with the testing kit and you will be free to go." Tmoxin wasn't smiling nor was she displaying the similar charm of Commodore Vaiden. In fact, she was quite firm in her insistence that Anastasia Rade stay right where she was.

One thing Orick could say about the Imperials, they were efficient. Ih the time it had taken them to search and cuff his hands together in front of him, they had a speeder truck enroute and a security detail waiting for him. He was lead away from the landing pad and as he looked over his shoulder he could see several stormtroopers entering the Ranger. He was glad that he had stashed all of the important stuff in several of his hidden smuggler holes and he hoped that he would be able to get back out before anyone found anything incriminating.

He was pushed into the back of the hover truck and was followed by three stormtroopers, they pushed him into the back of the cargo area and the door was closed behind them. All three sat ramrod straight against the sets and not once did they even look his way. Orick shook his head at how robotic they looked, he knew that under those helmets they were monitoring everything that was happening around them. He inspected the cuffs on his wrists and had to keep from smiling, they were standard mag-cuffs, the kind that he could have seen on a dozen different worlds. He had used them himself and he knew that it was all just a matter of figuring out the how to open the locks without the stormtroopers knowing. He pulled out the small pick from his belt and pushed the small probe into the keyhole of the cuffs.

He had no idea where he was being taken or if he would even get to the area where this Captain Viaden was even at, but he was sure that if he found this guy, he would find Ana.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Inside the cab of the truck the Imperial officer was frowning as he listened with his comm, " What do you mean you can't find Captain Viaden. Where did he go?"

" We don't know sir, he's not responding to his comm at all" Was the reply on the other end.

" Fine, patch me through to Commandr Temi and let her know there's a possible security breach and that I'm bringing in a prisoner she might want to talk to." The officer sighed and turned to the driver, " Take us to Fleetcom and drop us off at the detention center."

Before Ana had time to further protest, Tmoxin began rifling through the lab's drawers and cabinets, but she stopped abruptly when Dr. Cesternino finally came back in. The doctor glanced suspiciously at the Commander, but noticing her rank and the other officer in the room, she went about her business preparing the test for Ana.

Suddenly a Lieutenant that the Hapan officer was unfamiliar with came into the room and said, “Commander, it appears we may have picked up a possible Republic agent. He says he’s looking for Commodore Vaiden, but the Commodore cannot be found. This potential infiltrator is en route to FleetCommand. Would you like to speak to him?”

Tmoxin appeared perplexed and slightly annoyed. It was all well and good if the Commodore wanted to dash off to more important business but that didn’t mean the Commander was his secretary! She supposed, however, it could be important, so she sighed and said, “Yes, bring him in for questioning.”

Back in the laboratory, the Commander waited patiently until Dr. Cesternino was done with her test preparation and she finally asked the doctor in a pointedly polite voice: “I have a prisoner coming in shortly. Can you please point me to your supply of SLV-16 and IX Serum? If you don’t have those in stock, I’ll take your run-of-the-mill interrogation drugs.”

[member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Greta Kohler"] [member="Ali Hadrix"] [member="Anastasia Rade"]

As the two of them had walked along the corridors, Greta followed the other woman into the laboratory where Commodore Vaiden had his scientific acitivities done. There she saw a blonde woman, whose hair was a far lot more golden than hers. She was rather pretty, and the young officer wondered what she could possibly be here for. Was she the Commodore's mistress or just another test subject? Her question was answered soon enough, as the Commander briefed her on the new task at hand. A DNA test it seems. Something to do with the Mid-chlorians count. Greta had been tasked to oversee the task and ensure that the report was delivered to the office of the Commodore. Simple enough, she thought to herself.

The other woman, whom she referred to as "Goldilocks" was within earshot when she was brief, and must have managed to hear some details of the task. She then spoke up objecting to donating her DNA, as she was apparently not her for the good of science, but for some other personal family reason. She then claimed that she never agreed to the experiment. The woman was firmly rebutted by the Commander, denying any idea about this family matter. And as she had expected, the information regarding the experiment was on a need-to-know basis. Reassuring Goldilocks, she told her to wait for the doctor to return, which she did shortly.

It was then a startling piece of news was brought to them. A prisoner. A Republic spy? The Commander then asked the doctor, one by the name of Doctor Cesternino where the SLV-16 and IX Serum were. Immediately without hesitation, Greta walked over to a glass sealed case by a wall. "Commander, I believe these are what you are looking for." pointing to the interior of the locked glass case.

There was no easy way for Ana to get out of getting this test done as she was one and they were three. She wasn’t even counting the men that they probably had outside. All of this quite literally made Ana a sitting duck. Surprisingly enough Ana was less concerned about herself and more concerned about this “spy” they had caught. The drugs that the one woman was asking about were ones she knew quite well. This person was in for a world full of pain even if he was innocent and Ana knew that if she didn’t play her cards right that she would be in the same sort of situation. She wouldn’t be doing herself any favors if Ana decided to argue and fight.

“I understand,” she smiled as her eyes went to the doctor in the corner whom had begun to prepare the test in the corner. It seemed like a lot of preparation for a simple DNA test. “I’m honored to be of assistance to the Imperial cause. Once this test is over will I be able to return to my post?” It didn’t seem as if these women knew anything about her so she assumed it would be alright. This test was totally worth it if Ana got to than freely walk around base.

Turning from the counter with the tray the doctor brought it over to where Ana was still sitting. It wasn’t her place to say what the young woman could or couldn’t do especially with two higher ranked individuals in the room. Normally she liked doing her job in private with her patients but sometimes she didn’t get that. Dr. Cesternino didn’t complain of course or question it. The Imperials allowed her to do her work in peace for the most part. “There should be some in the cabinet over there along with a few other goodies I think you’ll like.” She wouldn’t say what kind considering the company in the room but she would find other drugs used to torture those whom didn’t cooperate.

“You’ll feel a slight prick but that is all.” The doctor grinned turning her attention back to Ana as she took her arm and wiped off a spot that she was going to prick. Picking up the needle she stuck it in Ana’s arm.

The Fleetcom base was exactly like Orick envisioned, a small fortress. There were two different check points before they finally entered the compound. Once they had stopped, the doors were opened and he was pushed out of the back by the stormtroopers in the back with him. He glanced around and he shook his head, the base was laid out in standard imperial design. He stopped counting stormtroopers when he reached fifty. The military presence inside the base was heavier than he had seen outside of a combat zone, he was wondering if there was something in the works for the future.

He was shoved through a door and into a collection of hallways and small offices, before they stopped in front of a heavily reinforced durasteel door. As the door was opened he saw the spacious accommodations that would be his home for the time being. There was a hard metal bench and nothing else. He was shoved unceremoniously into the room and the door was cycled closed behind him. He smiled and shook his head as he rubbed his left wrist as the cuff came away. The stormtroopers had been so preoccupied with what he could do that they didn't pay enough attention to was he was doing.

He only had time to get the cuff off on one wrist but it gave him full mobility and since they hadn't realized that he was free, he now had the element of surprise. He sighed and sat on the bench, waiting for something to happen.

He waited for what felt like hours, but he was sure wasn't more than an hour. He knew that standard imperial tactics was to let a prisoner sit until they went stir crazy from the isolation. He had been trained for this and he knew exactly how to combat this. It wasn't long before he heard commotion outside of the door. He quickly placed his hands behind his back, pretending that they were still cuffed together. He gripped the open cuff in his right hand, the metal end sticking out of his closed fist. It wasn't the most effective weapon, but if he heeded to he was prepared to fight his way out of this mess.

As the door cycled open he could hear the last part of the conversation, " ... claims he's Gunner Staygo, a bounty hunter. We have a report from the Third Moon of Phlors Regina, someone fitting his description was reported as loitering there, the name he used there was Sinjin Smiley, a freighter captain out of Lok." He saw the officer walk to the entrance of the door and as the person he was talking to walked into the frame, Orick tried to hide his smile. There staring at him was none other than Commander [member="Tmoxin Temi"], his smuggling contact.

[member="Anastasia Rade"] | [member="Greta Kohler"] | [member="Ali Hadrix"]

Both Lieutenant Kohler and the doctor pointed Tmoxin in the right direction to the interrogation drugs, so she pulled out a box with pre-prepared needles and some extra vials just in case.

“Lieutenant, can you please remain here with the test subject to make sure everything is finished and reported to Commodore Vaiden?” She still didn't trust the blonde woman to not bolt out the door the minute the higher ranking officers were out of sight.

The Commander then went down the corridor to the area where the prisoner was being kept, and while her interest was already piqued over who the captive was and what he wanted with Hans Vaiden, when she heard he was a freighter captain out of Lok, her brows furrowed and she racked her brain for why that sounded so familiar.

And about the same time she came face to face with Orick T’ane, she realized that this was the smuggler she had hired to transport the Age-renewal Treatment Chamber. Tmoxin didn’t open the door yet, but knowing she had once, not only encountered this individual, but paid him with her own credits made her less apprehensive to interact with him.

“Hello, Mr. Staygo, is it?” Although she assumed this was probably an alias. “I hear you have business with Commodore Vaiden. He’s not here at the moment, so whatever you needed to discuss with him, you will discuss with me.” In her hand she held a small and somewhat ominous metal box if only for its incongruity in the situation.

“Of course unless it involves smuggling, I can’t for the life of me understand why you are exactly here."

Goldilocks spoke about how she was honoured to be of assistance to the Imperial cause.

But somehow, Greta didn't quite believe her.

The words were indeed there, but they seemed to lack a certain quality, sincerity perhaps. She then spoke up about wanting to return to her post. The young officer was on to it immediately. Returning so quickly? Anxious to return to duty, or something else?

"Your commitment to your job is commendable, but you aren't done here yet. Where are you stationed? And what's your name? I'll see to it that your commanding officer is appraised of the situation. You need not worry about returning to your post just yet."

She then smiled, indicating that the matter would be settled appropriately. Greta's instincts seemed to be on edge around the woman for some unknown reason. The behaviour and the manner in which she spoke was unlike one who had came here willingly. She was beginning to think that there was more that meets the eye with Goldilocks here.

And that was never a good thing.

The Commander then spoke, ordering her to remain here to take care of the situation here, while she dealt with the new prisoner that had only just arrived. "Yes, Commander, I'll see to it that it gets done."

Giving off another salute to the senior officer. As the commander left, the young officer then began to scrutnise the doctor ever so closely as she began working on extracting the needed sample from Goldilocks, ensuring that everything went according to plan.

Orick remained still when [member="Tmoxin Temi"] entered, she was still an imperial officer on an imperial held world. the last thing he wanted to do was piss her or anyone watching off enough to ruin his golden opportunity at getting away. he debated how to answer the question without giving too much away. She wasn't someone he could afford to try to bluff, he needed this story to be rock solid.

He sat back and sighed slightly, the relief on his face was only half faked, he was glad to have seen a face he could do business with. "Well, I happen to know that Commodore Vaiden was supposed to be meeting with someone within the next couple of days. That someone is... call her a wayward child, and I have been asked to return her to her family." He said finally after thinking through his answer. It was partially true, but she didn't need to know the details of just who her family was and how it could affect changes.

He noticed that the door behind them had closed and that while she was in perfect military uniform, her boots had a bit of dirt on them and she was holding a small box in her hand. He wondered about the contents of the box, but figured they weren't anything to worry about. She might be an imperial commander, but she wouldn't try anything without someone else in the room. Protocol stated that interrogations have at least two officers present at any time to ensure that the information could be verified. He also knew that the Imperials didn't trust anyone, even their own officers to conduct interrogations without suspecting them.

" This woman isn't dangerous, she's just delusional, and could cause great harm to my benefactor and to herself if she's allowed to follow this false idea that she's somehow related to a disgraced Imperial commander. The only thing I've had to smuggle into Sith space has been me, to find her. I assure you that this is all on the level, had I known that you would be present here, I would have come to you first. We have a history of mutual benefit and dare I say it...trust." He knew he was laying it on thick here, but he really wanted to avoid the need for that second officer to step into the room, it would be a bad experience for him, and he knew it. " The slight difference in name is purely to throw her off of as I track her down."

He sat back and waited for her response to this new information and hopefully it would get both he and [member="Anastasia Rade"] out of here before things went badly.

[member="Greta Kohler"] | [member="Ali Hadrix"]

The only apprehension that Tmoxin had over seeing Orick T'ane again was that she didn't relish the idea of him releasing any information to FleetCom about her hiring a smuggler. Obviously he hadn't known that what she paid him to deliver to Lok was a stolen piece of bio-tech but just the same, she would rather not her superior officers know she was involved in clandestine affairs of any sort.

Still, it wasn't as if he was in a position to bargain from where he sat in the prison cell.

Acknowledging the stormtroopers to stay as close as possible, the Commander opened the door and entered. She didn't approach the smuggler where he sat and stayed far enough away that if he jumped up suddenly her blaster would be out and firing in seconds.

She narrowed her eyes as him as he explained to her the situation with the "delusional woman." The whole story was sounding stranger by the minute and Tmoxin still wasn't unconvinced that the blonde female subject wasn't in some way linked to Hans Vaiden in an inappropriate way. Nor was she convinced that the two of them weren't spies.

"I am happy to release her into your custody, once we are done with what we need to do. She agreed to provide a blood sample and I have to see that we obtain it. But it is very unorthodox for both of you to be traipsing around FleetCom like this." She glanced back at the stormtroopers.

"Luckily I have another officer, guarding your colleague. Otherwise I would not be surprised if your friend was looting sensitive information from the building right now." Tmoxin nonchalantly leaned against the cell door, her hand positioned at her blaster.

"That is why you are both here after all? As agents of the Republic?" she asked in a barbed tone.

[member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Anastasia Rade"] [member="Greta Kohler"] [member="Ali Hadrix"]

Orick sat back and sighed heavily, for some reason there was a large amount of suspicion in this simple case. He wasn't sure how to proceed without causing too many problems. She had positioned herself just far enough away to know that he would get a blaster bolt in the head if he tried anything. He was sure that she was capable of getting the shot off too, she wouldn't have become a stormtrooper commander if she wasn't capable of holding her own in a fight.

" Listen, commander, you and I have our past, that's not something that needs to be brought up, but what does need to be talked about is how to this day, no one knows about said past. Because you can trust me. I haven't said anything because I have a reputation of discretion where my employers are concerned." He sat back and decided that it was time to stop pretending to be handcuffed. He pulled his hands from behind his back and placed them on his lap, the right wrist dangling the set of cuffs off of them.

"I can't reveal the information of who my employer is, anymore than I would tell someone that you and I had a deal at one point. But rest assured that this woman is here while I'm here because I tracked her down, given the information her family provided. You should be looking into the fact that your security was easy enough for someone else to breach that they knew this test was even happening." This was the slippery slope, getting her to see the flaws in her system and not in his.

"I'm a Republic spy? Seriously... I'm a spy that happens to smuggle" He lowered his voice as he said his next words, " For you at that, and remain quiet because I'm obviously plotting against you." He shook his head and frowned, " You are even more paranoid than you were before. I can assure you that I have no connection to this woman other than the money her family is paying me to bring her home."

[member="Tmoxin Temi"] | [member="Greta Kohler"] | [member="Anastasia Rade"] | [member="Ali Hadrix"]

Tmoxin's eyes flashed angrily for a moment, and with her hand she made a slicing motion at her throat. "Shhhhh," she hissed. She looked over at her shoulder at the guards but the stormtroopers didn't appear to be listening. Still she couldn't have him speaking as freely as he was.

"You can't talk about our prior business here," she said in a whisper now. "If you think I'm paranoid, just hang around FleetCom long enough and you'll see exactly why."

The stolen bio-tech was indeed the tip of the iceberg of what type of activity the Commander had been up to. She had already felt the wrath of the General today and didn't want to press her luck by allowing questionable information to circulate among the ranks of the lower officers.

By his own admission, a reputation of discretion, she had to admit was appealing. The Hapan officer could always use some hands who were careful, discrete and trustworthy. Disposable was also good but she didn't take the smuggler for a throwaway mercenary.

"To be quite honest with you," she started. "I'm much less interested in your friend now than I am interested in you."

She whistled to one of the stormtroopers who also entered the room at her call. "I just need to be sure that you are telling the truth." Tmoxin turned to the trooper and asked in a clear, calm voice,

"Can you subdue the prisoner and take him to the interrogation room?"

[member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Anastasia Rade"] [member="Greta Kohler"] [member="Ali Hadrix"]

He listened to her talk and he didn't really like the tone of her words. He sat up and frowned as she whistled for the troops outside of the room. " I really wish you would have just given me the woman." He waited until the trooper had moved forward, blocking her shot at him and he charged forward. The trooper was fully armored and had the standard blaster rifle in hand, but the speed with which he moved gave him just enough time to close the distance before the rifle was brought up. He crashed right into the man, pushing him back toward [member="Tmoxin Temi"], hoping to trap both in them. His arm shot out in an attempt to grab her weapon but he missed it by less than an inch.

He felt the trooper pushing him back and he stopped fighting and let the trooper push him towards the other wall. He waited just long enough for the trooper to get momentum before he did a pirouette and pushed the man head first into the opposite wall. With a quick motion, he had the handcuffs wrapped around the other man's throat, his body leaning back as he put enough pressure against the man's throat to know that even the padded body glove wouldn't be enough to keep the man's air flowing into his lungs. It took longer than he had planned to subdue the man, but as the body began to fall to the floor he let the cuffs go and turned back towards the woman, " Kriffing hell woman."

Ana had already reviled her true identity so lying to the woman in front for her would do Ana no good. She had come in hopes of gathering information not only on her bio family but the Imperials in general. Ana honestly was more interested in the later but it seemed as if her cover had the risk of being blown wide open. She didn't really have a cover per say until now. Ana needed to make up something and fast on where this so called post was.

"My name is Anastasia Rade and I'm currently stationed on Balmorra as the assistant of Deputy Moff Diaz." She stated before wincing a bit the needle. Ana not only hated needles but she was trying to act as a dainty little flower. Her looks she knew could logically get her such a job. Men in high power positions liked pretty things to look at. That was a lesson she had learned quite quickly.

"He wanted me to come here but at the same time I know how disorganized he can be. He really does need me to get back to him as soon. Someone has to ensure that he makes his meetings on time." She giggled with a smile. "but if I'm needed here I of course have no issue staying." Ana stated as she turned to watch the doctor pull the needle out before turning to do something else.

She had this feeling this was not the end of the test nor the end of her line of questioning.

[member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Tmoxin Temi"] [member="Greta Kohler"]

When Orick T’ane assaulted the stormtrooper and pushed him towards Tmoxin, she flew backwards towards the door as the soldier crashed into her. This caused two things to happen. Tmoxin, now on the floor, was able to get her blaster into her hand, and the other stormtrooper who was still guarding the outside of the prison cell suddenly noticed the commotion and wisely called down the hallway for backup, then he opened the door, also training his blaster on the smuggler.

Her voice became shrill with anger. “You attacked and perhaps just killed an Imperial stormtrooper! Give me one good reason I should keep you alive right now?!?!”

Tmoxin’s hand was steady, her blaster trained firmly at his cranium. Without taking her brown eyes off of him, she said to the other stormtrooper who also pointed his weapon at T’ane: “Stun him.”

The stormtrooper set his blaster on stun and fired at the smuggler. By that time four other stormtroopers had come down the hallway to assist with restraining the prisoner.

Orick sighed and put his hands up slightly, just below shoulder level with his palms facing [member="Tmoxin Temi"] as she pointed the pistol as his head, he knew that his chance was missed when he failed to secure it before he finished off the trooper, but he didn't get the chance to even hic odds and now he was going to pay for it. He saw the more troopers rushing into the room, all of them with weapons at the ready and he wondered what was next.

He knew that she wasn't going to kill him, if she was he would be dead already. She had other plans for him and now he had no bargaining power left. He heard the command from her to stun him and he didn't even try to resist, better to be stunned and figure this out later than to get that blaster bolt through the head. He had done enough homework on imperials to know she wouldn't hesitate if he gave her a reason to. For now he had something of value to her, even if he didn't know what it was, so he would wait it out and fight this battle at a later time. " Kriff you, you..." was all he got out before the stun bolts hit him.

He dropped like a rock and landed hard on the cell floor. He never felt the stormtroopers grabbing him and dragging him away towards the interrogation room, he didn't notice anything at all.
