Arrival on Naboo

[member="Vee Toa"] [member="Jamie Pyne"]

Ember's business relationship with Lord Vee Toa went back a good way; his connections on Naboo went back much farther. When the latter marched the former into the palace under guard, when the Tactical Peace Officer Unit and the Jedi got involved - well, people noticed.

Several hundred kilometres from Theed, a civilian airspeeder emerged from thin air high in the Collo Mountains. Naboo, like a small handful of other planets, connected to the Netherworld in specific ways. The speeder made for Theed at high velocity and low altitude. The Force shifted slightly; any Jedi Knight would feel a hint of something dark.

Location: Naboo, a clothing store within the city
Interacting with: @Bundori

“What is not right”, the store clerk looked between the two sisters.

“Bubblegum”, Minerva pointed at the bubblegum shoes.

“Mam”, Minerva sweetly smiled over to the store clerk. “I and my sister are Dathomiri and we sensed that there could be danger nearby. A treat that possibly endangers all of us here in the city of Theeds”, as she spoke she walked closer to the counter area where one would purchase goods.

She stopped nearby the counter where there was a replica of one of the big waterfalls that is part of Theeds landscape. It was a beautiful replica with running water.

Mini placed a handful of credits upon the counter. She did not say what it was for, yet. Then she pulled out a small crystal bottle. Within it was a bright green liquid substance. “This is a rare substance”, Minerva told the clerk. "Its properties and uses are a closely guarded secret. Be fortunate enough you’re able to witness this event, and be grateful I gave you enough credits to clean your fountain”, Minerva opened up the container, and then poured the contents in.
When the green liquid hit the water, the water changed in color and its properties. The water appeared to now be the very same type of liquid.

Minerva stepped forward, raised her hands over the water. Though pink pastel lips she began the chant. Her eyes slowly started to change color matching the same color of green. The spirits began to hear the call. Where there was no breeze Minerva’s hair began to shift as if it was gently blowing within a breeze.
Then images started to appear within the poll of green liquid. Bundori could now shift through the images seeing events around Theeds taking shape. Images like the Queen [member="Jamie Pyne"] and her dark visitor [member="Vee Toa"]. Or the image of @Komoda. Maybe the spirits would be kind enough to show the possible danger of the treat could impose.

Bundori was looking at her sister when she was explaining it but she wasn't doo worried. She knew the skils that were being used and moved over there to stand near her sister but was looking for the visions. "Alright then lets see what there might be..... maybe something cool." She could feel something approaching [member="Ember Rekali"] and it didn't feel good, the two witches from Dharma and Petra were just here to shop and she looked at her sister. "I think I just saw something big coming and we are not going to like it." But she could see a little more getting some water into her own bottle for spells that she might need to do. "Oh I just wanted a fun day... oh oh oh can we coordinate our outfits we can do cute poses if there is danger and catch them off guard."

The blonde looked to [member="Vee Toa"], raising an eye as he spoke of this Badlands Region. It was not something she was overly familiar with by name, nor by reputation.

"What exactly are you looking to trade?" She asked curiously. "It's rare that ambassadors arrive on Naboo with battle droids if they seek peaceful negotiations. We're well known to be hospitable to our guests, enemies or not."

Perhaps armed guards were a typical custom elsewhere, certainly in harsher climates such as Nar Shaddaa, but Naboo was known across much of the galaxy as a peaceful planet. Jamie found it peculiar for such a choice to be made, though perhaps the man was simply as unfamiliar with Naboo as she was with the Badlands.

The dark ripple in the Force that drew nearer certainly did not assist in alleviating the Queen's discomfort of the situation, though her features remained polite and warm.

Komoda

Gris King of Badlands
Komoda's scales started vibrating softly and sparked with electricity, as he felt Gris-Gris in the air. None of his captains were performing a spell. Someone was practicing dark side magic in the city. He relayed the information to the squadrons and told them to prepare for Jedi and possibly Sith. He reached out with his mind probing the Darkside user.
"What are you looking for Dark One?"
He couldn't figure out where they were specifically or who, but he kept reaching out.

Another mind touched Ember's thoughts. <<What are you looking for, Dark One?>> it said.

Ember leaned his seat back. "Take over, Faran." The faded ghost beside him nodded and laid wispy hands on the speeder's control panel. Ember closed his eyes and reached out to [member="Komoda"] in return.

<<A business connection might or might not need assistance. Same question.>>

The Force flowed though the young witch. As she stood there with her finger hovering over the glowing pool of liquid. As the reflection shifted so did the current that required more concentration. Little arcs of purple electricity now danced from the tips of her fingers connecting to the pool.

Then that presence [member="Ember Rekali"]. [member="Bundori "]mentioned something big that was coming and that they would not like it. Minerva was not physically strong like others. She was not athletic like others. She was a physically fragile child with asthmatic systems. Her strength lay within conjuring the Force.

She sensed the presence as well. Mini sensed a little more than her sister through the divination of the spell being conjured. She could see something behind the darkness. She felt home. She sensed a piece of Dathomir, a spirit of Dathomir. Was this a presence of an Elder who had passed on?

Blood started to drip from Minerva’s left nostril as the power of the connection of Dathomir flowed through her.

Mini, normally a sweet young lady, she did have a darkside. Not surprising, since she was a descendant of the Cavataio family. Her darkness stemmed from her thirst for knowledge.

The temptation of acquiring knowledge from this presence she felt was to overwhelming to pass by. She knew the risks.

Minerva let go of the spell. As the spell ended the liquid in the pool evaporated away. There was a mischievous smirk that was on those pastel lips. “We could still have fun Bundori”, Mini was up to something, her sister had to notice. “We can coordinate outfits if you like”, Mini agreed to that a little to ease. Yes she had to be up to something!

Komoda

Gris King of Badlands
"I don't know who you are but if you are the cause of the disturbance I feel in the city, you could make a powerful ally. Join me show me your power!"
The last phrase rang deeper in [member="Ember Rekali"]'s mind than the others, Komoda tried influencing the entities mind. He knew most Force users could easily resist this, but he wanted to see this beings power. He opened his eyes and stood up, grabbing a slugthrower. His squads were preparing for battle applying war paint across their faces and bodies.

Bundori looked at Minerva and she was bleeding as the girl moved over and was pulling out a small rag to wipe at the blood. "You be careful, can't have you passing out on me. You've been sneaking the cupcakes I know it." SHe said it with a grin on her face though at the idea of matching and coordinating their outfits. "WE wil be like those Seoulian magical girls.... get to dance around." Oh she was liking this idea.. she couldn't think of anythign that would be better or cooler while she felt the presence of soemthing. She was a Cavataio by marriage of her mother and Dharma so she wasn't really borning with the blood but she had been taught by two other witches Matsu Xiangu and Venefica some skills so she could feel Ember or something there she didn't realy know what it was as there was another. "Something else is here." Bundori moved and she grabbed her scylla chainsword. The gift from her grandmother Ashin when they were doing the elections within the Lords of the Fringe. It was a pretty thing and Bundori grinned holding it over her back with the small guard on her shoulders. "But don't worry sis... I'l protect you and you'll work those magics."

@Bundori

“The Seulian what”, Minerva was a bit confused and wondered what she just got herself into. “Dancing around”, it was a terrifying thought to her. “Me and dancing might not be a good idea. Knowing me I might trip over your feet and break and ankle”, Mini giggled at her own awkwardness!

[member="Minerva Vessia"]

Hmm her breaking an ankle could pose a problem for their super secret things of dances.... no they would have to handle this the old fashioned way... with protecting all of their things that they had bought for themselves. They had to protect their clothing and shoes... any danger was a threat to them and their awesomeness. "Hmmm we'll get the clothing and shoes to the ship and then dress up and if anything happens we will see if we can save the day to get a major discount here with everything.. imagine it a huge discount on shoes or shirts.... or hair products.. we can make streaks." Oh she was excited and thinking of the real goal.

The Force-empowered suggestion sank deep for a variety of reasons.

<<As you wish.>>

[member="Jamie Pyne"] [member="Bundori "][member="Minerva Vessia"] [member="Vee Toa"]

A White Current illusion of a storm converged on Theed. Embedded in the fabric of reality, the illusion was tangible enough that your average citizen could have sworn they felt the raindrops. People started to get off the streets, out of the gloom and the chilly breeze. If any of Naboo's Jedi had Fallanassi training, and enough presence of mind, they might discern there was something off, suspicious, amplified, or downright unreal about the storm. A Yuuzhan Vong just wouldn't see it at all. Otherwise, to everything from droids to Hutts to weather sensors, a White Current illusion was pretty darn convincing.

Water droplets fell from Komoda's jaw as he reemerged from the River. He looked towards the sky, this rain was unnatural. His homeworld was constantly flooding with monsoons, he could tell when a storm was coming. This came from nothing. This must be the presence he conversed with. The plan was no longer on his mind, he had trained his captains to be self sufficient. He wanted eyes on this being, and just then a ship started nearing the city. He could feel the force radiating of of it.
"Impressive, lets talk."
He started the journey towards the ships landing path, dirt crunching under his feet.

The airspeeder touched down near the river. "Thank you, son," Ember said, and the faint shimmer at the controls nodded to him. Ember climbed out of the speeder, at the fringes of his own illusory storm, and headed for the big reptilian. Not a Trandoshan, not a Barabel - what, then?

"What's your business here, friend? What makes you think our interests align, eh?"

Stepping from the illusory storm strode eight feet of metal. The battery on it's back hummed audibly, setting a fuzz into the teeth while his heavy tread put a tremor in the bone. A sword was held in his right hand, and a lantern in the left. Both were bound to his wrists by thick, black chains. With the lantern held high, it was easy to feel the Force imbued within it - a lantern of literal Force Light. Then again, Sarge was not exactly known for his lack of theatrics.

"Aye, what is your business here." He says, rough baritone made harsh by the static of his helmet speaker. "I trust it can be concluded quickly."

It had been some time since Sarge had last seen [member="Ember Rekali"], but he'd yet to cross paths with [member="Komoda"], and it was that combination of known and unknown quantities that had brought him here to the river's edge. The glaring red of his eye lenses locked onto Ember. Of the two, he would bank on Ember having the more sense; primarily because he didn't know the reptile.

Though, if 'more sense' meant conjuring up an illusory storm at the heart of Naboo well... why do you think he brought the sword?

"I will explain my business here, when you explain who you are. You are speaking to Komoda Gris King of Nalrobi. I assure you I will leave this system when my business is concluded. Do you make a habit of questioning strangers?", The Suchur said with a little venom in his voice.

The lantern felt excessively bright. He squinted at it with hate in his eyes.

Iturizu Yuvie

Be carfule what you wish for
Yuvie had expressed an utmost interest to accompany [member="Sarge Potteiger"] to investigate the sudden and disturbing occurrence that was taking place on Naboo, reports of [member="Vee Toa"] of all people making things a little personal. Even though the planet of Naboo had it's own monarchy and government it was still under the protection as well as apart of the Galactic alliance, and if Vee was involved he knew it was not a good thing.

Strangle enough though it was no the backwater crime lord that they had encountered but some lizard man claiming to be the king of Nalrobi, which seemed odd since the planet was a republic with sparely populated areas. Unless this [member="Komoda"] as he called himself was just one of the jungle tribal leaders claiming to be king, that was nothing new, and would probably explain his abrasive action here on Naboo along with the venomous speech. Along with the way he spoke to Sarge and [member="Ember Rekali"], clearly not knowing who the two where, which was rather surprising considering both their fame, all but Ember being more secretive.

The question still was why did he come here? had the man just joined froces with Vee on some whim? he knew for a fact Naboo did not want anything to do with the war, so weapons was out of the picture, nor did they have much to trade in that regard. What the planet and Theed was famous for was the beauty and clothing shops, why some backwater world 'King' and not so successful crime lord would want with that was beyond Yuvies knowledge.

Wherever Ember looked, the storm was driving people inside, off the streets. Good. A bustling, happy population generally led to collateral damage and chaotic complications if any given situation escalated. This scenario's questions were a good deal more interesting without the people getting involved.

What did [member="Jamie Pyne"] have in store for [member="Vee Toa"]? Would the crime lord need support or extraction? How far would the Gris King and the armored man escalate? Would the Mirialan get involved, and if so, how?

In service to the latter questions, Ember said nothing. He might have chuckled a little.
