Feth it. I'll support [member="Draco Vereen"]'s crazy idea if only for the fact that we have nothing more we can possibly lose. Already lost our respect, our dignity, our hope, our chancellor, our supreme commander, our pride, and our capability to do anything as a faction that can put us back where we belong. If Draco can pull off the near-impossible, then kudos to him, he'll have fixed the faction. If he can't - well, I don't see how the situation here can actually get worse.

I'll throw my hat out there. I think the GR military would do well with a fresh face that doesn't have any associations to the shenanigans of the previous administrations. The appointment of Ticon would alienate us further from the GA and the Jedi.

We've already gone over how we can't have anyone associated with a Force-using order or identifying themselves as Jedi or Sith serving in any official governmental capacity, but I've alos drawn out that I do want to use them as official consultants. Reaching out to both sides equally, so long as we aren't at war with any faction they currently belong to, would open us up to lots of opportunities.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I've taken Gir away from the Republic to do a plotline focused on exploring some of the unknown regions in a private venture.

OOC, I haven't had the time to consistently commit to In-character writing, especially in something that would be a prominent role that could have people waiting on me to post. But thanks again though for the thought.

Gir and Resh wont take it. The Directorate has them busy. but we will support the republic with fleet if needed when we can. Resh. will not work with pirates so I doubt I will use him to help the GR. But i will have Mosses and another character with the Directorate that can assist the GR with fleet stuff. and then there is Gir and Taeli.

Forlon here though dosn't give a flying bantha about pirates. He hates everyone equally... so He can do the job but he will do it his way, all cantankerous and gruff with a side of pissed off, but job will be done.
