...That pirate was here and that usurper of what it means to be a servant of the Republic. It was bad enough that he had been recalled from his service to the Republic out of the words of his queen. But that this joke of a man was here and doing this...

He hated being in a position like this at times. When his loyalty had been skewed through ways of intention that were not his. You're now a member of a faction that wants to see this one go away. You gleefully leapt to flee what you perceive to be a sinking ship.

Thanks for your consideration, but my opinion is that you should leave this Faction and stick to your new one, or bring your planet back to the Republic. Given your recent history I doubt you'll find any solid support here at the moment, but I've been wrong before. Like about the shrimp. It really had gone off.

Yes, you are right, i am a member of that one because that is the Republic that Janira pushed Eshan into. Sent you a PM so we can talk this over as i can explain things to you in detail when it comes to the behind the scenes and otherwise. I know that due to IC Alex looks like a hypocrite and a traitor, which is where if you also read in that thread he is pissed at Janira and hes more worried about being the tool his Queen needs him to be as he had no place in the Republic as a Senator anymore. Alex is driven by the need to protect and this position is the reason he has made a return as he has. All this can be explain in the pm i sent you, i just hope you understand that my OOC and IC(What little be it) involvement in a faction is due to Alex's need to protect others, which is the same reason i am here now.

Your planet left the Republic. You left with it. You're working to build a faction called the New Republic, meaning one to replace the current one. All I have to go by IC is what's been written and what you've said aloud to Jack, all of which has been negative.

OOC, I don't know you. I'm sure you're a wonderful male or female or transgender or neuter, and I'm certain we both have characters that'd get along brilliantly with each other.

Alexander asking to have any role in the Republic is silly and is not going to happen until he and his planet leave the New Republic faction and his planet come back to the actual, current Republic.

I don't think that there's a rule as to whether or not mods of other factions can't be in the Republic. Heck, I've been offered admin positions for other factions during this time and haven't gotten called out for it.

As far as I'm aware of for Alexander, he had to step down because Eshan left. But that doesn't mean that he had to leave the Republic too. I see no reason why he can't stay and have a different position where he isn't representing Eshan.

@Viktor Imperieuse Kay can't hold a position in gov't or get paid by the gov't. So outside of her finding a job with a private company or something, she's useless to the Republic in general and isn't part of any decision making or negotiations. I have to leave that to others.

Eshan left the Republic. There is a new faction called the New Republic, shouting to all who will listen about how this Republic, our Republic, is awful and should die. Alexander is a representative of that New Republic because he's a representative of Eshan. I don't see how it requires clarification. IC it makes no sense whatsoever.

I don't Control Eshan's at all. The Compact and The Queen do. AS i said, time and time again, and as his -Public- words support. He has never wanted to leave the republic. Simply wanted it to return to what it used to be.

But it hasn't, and it isn't. You are part of the New Republic, which wants to see this one pulled down. There is no way Jack would support you in anything based on the things you've said aloud. There's no way for me to know IC what your character has thought or feels or wants. I only have post after post of you being negative to Jack and walking away from the Republic to form your new one. Again, my advice is to go back there and make it work. Or work to dissolve it and ask to be readmitted here.

We've said it time and time again: IC words and actions have IC consequences.

I love [member="Lady Kay"] 's character. I want nothing but the best for her. But IC, Jack was completely unsympathetic to her because he found out she'd hidden her Force powers in order to serve on the Senate, which was forbidden at that time, and he showed her the door. IC actions, IC consequences. Write and move on.

I have no adminship on the republic there, thus i have no say in its path as far as i understand. And im am not going to actively work to dssolve it just as i will not do so to the GR or to the Black Rose on Solan... What you are asking is to OOCly change how my character acts based on the workings to remove a faction that i have no say in and i will not do that. Look Jack, i agree, ICC words have IC consquences. Just as Alex's IC post points out everything that would be ICly known. Working to take down the efforts of Janira, Vauden, and the Third admin who i will not name as they would receive the same treatment for their involvement is simply wrong.

[member="Alexander Sannes"], I'll make it easier: No, Jack will not support someone he perceives to be a traitor to the Republic he's been elected to serve, especially one that involves control, involvement with, or access to the Republic's military, especially at this time. No, this has nothing to do with how I, the writer, feel about you or the writer of your character.

If lots of people think you'd be great for the job and you walk away from Eshan, someone can nominate you. If you get enough votes, I have no choice but to grant you the position. End of story.
