Brain tails and fox tails (Saryana)

"Don't worry, its not as hard as it seems. I just purposely make things difficult for the excitement, something I'll happily change for you." As she reached out for my tail, I let it rise into her hand, enjoying the feeling of her hand as kt ran down my fur. And when she returned with the extra steaks, my tail started to wag again, and once more I started to eat.

Saryana smiled as his tail hit her hand a few times as it started to wag. She loved making people happy, even over something as small as this. The Togruta didn't have any friends aside from Will, most people didn't even know she existed, so being able to bring someone so much joy made her ecstatic. She finished her own food and took the plate to the sink to wash it. She threw the one remaining steak in the fridge and glanced at it's contents. She'd have to go shopping soon if they wanted to eat tomorrow. [member="William Seraven"]

I finished the last steak, smiling at the taste. "So long since I've had real food. Thank you." I walked over tot he sink and started to wash my own dishes. It was enough that she fed me, I didn't expect her to clean up after me as well. I could get used to this place. I might have to up my nightly scores to truly help with the finances, but I was sure I could make it work.

"So... I need to go shopping," Saryana told him as she watched him wash his own plate. He didn't need to go with her, she just wanted to let him know. That wasn't to say he couldn't tag along, she just wouldn't force him to go with her if he didn't want too. She grabbed a small bag containing her meager allowance of credits given to her by her "boss". She slung the strap over her shoulder and headed for the door. [member="William Seraven"]

I dried my hands of the water once the dishes were finished and followed after her. "I'll pay for what I can. Its the least I could do." Sure the money at my side wasn't mine in the strictest manner, but there was no reason I shouldn't use it for a good cause. Not like it was blood money, just something belonging to a surly butcher who had plenty to spare.

"We definately need meat... That's like 90% of what I eat... I need some more pasta... And actually that's it. Just those two things," Saryana told him as they exitted the apartment. She stopped to lock the door behind them and the proceed back out onto the streets. She smiled as she walked down the bustling streets. She loved being able to blend into the crowd instead of sticking out in her dancer's garb like she usually did.

I nodded and followed after her, smiling as he entered the streets. Despite my tail, it was still easy to disapear into the crowd, avoiding any attention as I walked by Saryana. Having been a pickpocket for so long, it just came naturally. And every so often,a s we passed a particular rich looking person, I took the liberty of lightening their load.

Saryana didn't seem to notice she was walking alongside a skilled pickpocket. She turned a corner and headed into a small butcher's shop. She grabbed a few more packs of steak since Will seemed to like them and a few other meats. She walked up to counter and paid for it. She had just enough money left for the pasta, but after that she'd be out of money until the next week. [member="William Seraven"]

As we passed the butcher, I made sure to hang back, letting her buy the meat. Likely he would recognize me if I stepped forward. But as we moved on, I made sure I was the one who stepped up to buy the pasta. "Please, I'll take care of this one. Let you hold on to your money." After I paid, I returned to her side, holding the bag of food. "That's it?"

"Yeah... Unless you like vegetables?" She replied with a grin. Her people were known for being predominantly carnivorous, so she didn't have much of a taste for vegetables. She figured the Zorren wouldn't like them either. The young Togruta turned away and headed back towards the apartment, making sure that Will was still with her.[member="William Seraven"]

I shook my head andd followed at her heels. "I can eat them, but I don't really need them." It was good to finally be headed to a building without someone chasing me, my tail waved slowly behind me, avoiding any people as to not bump them with it. "Things always like this for you? Seems life's really slow with a calm life.

"Well... It's usually a bit more hectic actually. I don't usually have such calm walks home..."she replied, the implications of that statement rather obvious. She hung her head in shame as she admitted it. She was harrassed constantly being a dancer, and sometimes that harassment would turn into something more. Usually she was good at running from her would-be attackers, but not always. There had been a few occasions where she had become someone's plaything for a night. [member="William Seraven"]

I felt my eye twitch as she spoke and immediately, I felt a rage burning inside of me. I wanted to hang back, leave her walking almost alone, that way if someone did walk up to her, I would be right behind them, claws ready. It was a natural feeling for my species. Indignation. Hatred for those who hurt others. The will to track and destroy them. Still, I wasn't going to do that. Using her as bait would be wrong and as much as it might be a service, it would do no good to send her into embarrassment. "I promise it won't happen again."

"Thank you," she mumbled quietly as she unlocked the door to the apartment they had just arrived at. She walked inside and went to the kitchen, putting the food in their proper places, mostly in the fridge. She sat back down on the couch when she finished, glancing over to where ever her new companion was at. [member="William Seraven"]

I nodded to her thanks and placed the pasta where it belongs. It was easy to find considering my nose could sniff out just about anything, making it easy to find where the last bag had been. Once that was done, I walked over to sit on the couch, looking over as she joined me. "Well, its really nice to have four walls that don't close around midnight."

Saryana nodded, hearing the washing machine beep to signal it was done. She got up to throw Will's clothes in the dryer and returned to her seat on the couch next to him. "So... What do you do for fun?" she asked curiously. Her very infrequent incidents of free time were spent drawing on a small datapad she had saved up for over a long period of time. Other than that, she didn't really do much of anything. [member="William Seraven"]

"Survive. That's really all I have to do. Sometimes I pick the wrong pocket, and once I walked in on a murder scene. Never a dull moment for me. Don't get me wrong, its not always bad. Sometimes I just go running on rooftops, but usually I just walk around and see waht strange sights I can find on each planet."

"It certainly doesn't sound boring," she commented, as she picked her datapad up off the table. She glanced over and Will and smiled. "How well do you handle sitting still?"She asked, grinning mischievously. She had an idea how to amuse herself for the next hour at the least. She wondered if he would go with it. She had a feeling he would. [member="William Seraven"]

"Because it isn't." I grinned and laid back on the couch, until she asked her next question. "I think so. Why?" I watched her datapad. I had an idea of what she had planned, but I wasn't sure. Not everyday a person randomly told me to sit still. Usually people were yelling at me to "get back here" or "die", or "run" and sometimes, to simply "GO TO HELL!"

"Good, sit still and don't move," she replied, beginning to draw the bushy tailed boy. She smiled as she began with the basic shapes that would eventually compose his body. She got the basic structure down and began erasing some of the guidelines. She sketched in her hair and the basic shapes of his eyes, mouth, and nose. She paused and glance up at him, studying him for several minutes before erasing something and re-drawing it. [member="William Seraven"]
