Brain tails and fox tails (Saryana)

It only took me a moment to figure but what was going on. So I was right, she was going to draw me. Accepting her request, I took a comfortable position and relaxed, moving as little as possible while trying to keep my tail in one place. Zorrens were known to be alive and so long as no one could track this picture to this place, I would be alright. "Didn't know you could draw."

"Not many people do," she replied, finishing up his eyes, and moving onto his clothes and the rest of his face. She would look up every few minutes to study him and compare the view in front of her to the drawing in her lap. She filled in the details of his clothes and moved on to his tail. She paused and study him for a long time before slowly beginning to shade in the fur on his tail. It was the hardest part to get right and there was alot of erasing as she worked on it. I smiled and stayed still, watching her expressions as they drew. That was the interesting thing about being on the streets. I saw things differently. Every person had a story, something they could do that others didn't know. Saryana was a prime example. A dancer trying to make her way, capable of so much more. Most passed people like us without a care. To find these stories you had to keep a keen eye out. Immerse yourself in the world to find its secrets.

"Done," Saryana replied after a few more minutes, passing the datapad to him. The sketch was perfect. Every line, every detail, and even the shading was exactly right. It looked just like the young man before her. She was rather proud of her work. It was one of the best things she had ever drawn. The young Togruta bit her lip as she waited for his opinion. I smiled as I looked at it and my tail started to wave. "You're magnificent. Thank you." I took a few more moments to look at it. In some ways, it was much better than the mirrors I was using to see myself, especially since they had been in seedy bars. Eventually, I extended my arm and offered the datapad back to her. "You're very good at that."

"Thanks... It started off as just a way to entertain myself when I had a few free moments during my training, but eventually I got really good at it." She explained taking the datapad back. She saved the sketch and began absentmindedly flipping through some of her older sketches. She smiled a bit as she recalled drawing each one. It was one of the few things that made her truly happy. If Togruta's had tails, she'd be wagging hers as badly as the Zorren before her. [member="William Seraven"]

I nodded and continued my relaxation, stretching out to get over the stillness that I had earlier maintained. It was good to see her happy like this. After helping me when she didn't have to, I was glad that I had found someway to add to her happiness. It was the least I could do, not to mention, there was pleasure enough knowing that I had a part in it. Behind me, I could feel my tail moving back and forth against the couch. It had been a long time since I had a moment this calm, and it seemed like I had finally run out of things to say.
