And I'd be really careful if I were you with regards to pointing out discrepancies in what a ship is and is not allowed, past or present. Last I checked, a carrier doesn't normally come with more capital guns than a destroyer, nor does an interceptor come with more weapons than a fighter.

That carrier doesn't have any gunships or dropships, thank-you-very-much. And I was still told to decrease to the current hangar standards.

With my factory hat on for a moment, how are you locking missiles on individuals at extreme range?

That's a line of technology that, for balance sake, we'd be very careful of in the factory.

I neither expect heat seeking missiles to be able to track individuals, nor can a laser on your birds for targeting?

I can't heat seek or track targets. But basically I have my drone laze the targets, get the range and location, then program that into the targeting computer of the scrap maker. Then the missile launches to that point. If the droids or individuals move then the missile will not follow it's designed to impact that exact point. Think it like a Star Wars equivalent of a javelin missile launcher.

But I think I wrote in my posts that the missile would not heat seek or follow them. But I could of worded it wrong

No worries, my advice would be to pull back the bird sub and explicitly add a targeting laser, noting that once you start lasing a target, you will potentially make the target realise they are being lased.

A targeting laser can either identify a grid location for GPS-guide attacks or it actively lases a target with a particular frequency and or pattern, which a homing missile can follow (requires target to be actively lased for a period of time).

GPS-guidance is potentially beyond shoulder mounted missiles (but you have it in that sub), laser guidance would be even easier than heat-seeking (as there is only one signal of that frequency/pattern to follow). However, laser guiding can be effectively jammed, and GNSS can be denied.

Not only that, but a 1,000 meter light capital and two 750 meter heavy cruisers when you aren't even a registered minor faction, nor are you even in OP anymore?
