Breaking the Unions (ACA Invasion of Rebel Geonosis OOC)

[member="Ahra Martrey"]

Hrrrm.

You can destroy it if it can get a glimpse of you/your shuttle first :p It's within it's range so, reasonable. I probably could have written that in before, but I did not!

So yes, if you want to be like 'exposed himself briefly to shoot it down' or whatevs go for it.

[member="Chiasa Kritivaas"] Fine by me. I'd be having Phade do it to try and avoid giving the ship away, but it's not exactly concealed from the air. As per the end of the post, I'm going to try to stay in the ship until it's down.

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] I work for a top-secret agency with its own development team, affiliated with the faction that houses the Techno Union. Tech is like, half of what we do. :p

Maybe get involved with a better pilot next time, if he's just gonna get himself shot down when no ones aiming at him ;p
Unfortunately. Sol can't fly for crap.

Neither can the 6 year old.

They have a horrible pilot droid.

Just think Star Tours~

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] Sorry if I assumed too much or got something confused.

We are calling for a delay in the fleet battle to resolve the hangar capacity issues on the Sev'rance-class and Tambor-class vessels, which do not comply with current factory standards, even taking into consideration the specialized 0.75-count for each droid fighter.

Standards for a vessel of 300-meter size (Sev'rance) dictate a 2-squadron limit (~24 fighters). The Sev'rance-class holds 70 fighters or 108 droid fighters (equal to a 81-fighter count).

Standards for a 'balanced' vessel of 1,050-meter size (Tambor) dictate a 6-squadron limit (~72 fighters). The Tambor-clas holds 112 fighters or 174 droid fighters (equal to a 130.5-fighter count).

We would like to request either a significant reduction in fighters deployable for this thread, or a recall of the ships to the factory.

If Raziel decides to put the ships back through the factory, it will be his choice and not yours. The ships were stamped when they went through the factory, and it's long been the policy of the factory to not force people to go back and update their ships to a new standard.

And I'd be really careful if I were you with regards to pointing out discrepancies in what a ship is and is not allowed, past or present. Last I checked, a carrier doesn't normally come with more capital guns than a destroyer, nor does an interceptor come with more weapons than a fighter.

I'll wait to arrive until a time Raziel tells me to.

Ships which were submitted prior to factory 3.0, along with all other factory items, are grandfathered in and do not require to be resubmitted. It is up to the person whom submitted the ship to decide whether they update it according to new standards or not.

Hey Besh, I directly engaged you in my last post. Just read through - especially the end where I described. I'm pretty sure you just missed it so if you want to counter please edit your most recent post.

Likewise, if anyone directly engages me and I don't respond appropriately, just tag me here or PM. I don't mind being nudged if I miss something.

Thanks!

Fyi, a lot was going on between my last post in this one, so there is a lot of info to sift through.

Basically all the people I've tagged, there is something that I have acknowledged or directly engaged.

For instance, I counter sniped Patricia prior to mortar fire falling on her head (not my call, sorry sweets), blew up a rocket, saw some bombers incoming and request the anti-air squadron to engage you pilots coming down wind (and alerted your targets), and I approved a sniper team to fire at Kloe. Oh, and I also acknowledged the Rebel mortar fire coming down on my position, and relocated as a result.

Feel free to let me know if I've missed anything, or if you'd like anything changed.
