"Are you paying?" she asked almost immediately, rolling a tube of pretty gold lipstick between her long tan fingers.
That was the question that would decide everything with Arinitha.

"If you are, then I'll have Brahn cancel the autograph signing and you can take me out now. Err... after I get dressed, of course."

Jared studied her for a second, incredulity painted all over his face. He wondered what kind of men were in her life, that she actually had need to ask that. Of course he would pay the bill, what kind of man would he be if he asked a woman out and did not deem it necessary to pay the bill? He removed the expression of his face and made it blank again though. There was no need for her to know more about his feelings for now.

"That goes without a doubt, my Lady. The dinner is on me."

So. A traditional gentleman then.
"Lucky me," she replied with a hint of sarcasm, "Fine then."

She set down her lipstick tube and picked up a comm unit.

"Brahn, Cancel the autograph session, and..." She looked her mysterious visitor up and down, "Any appointments I have for tomorrow morning as well."

The Admiralty
He chuckled softly at her sarcasm, she might pretend she did not care. But every woman loved to have a good time and get treated right, even when pretending otherwise. But Jared did not reply, until she started looking at him and added that her morning appointments should be canceled too. A cough forced itself through his mouth, after it was over he just said: "My Lady, I think I will let you get dressed then. Before I get ahead of myself."

Then he moved to leave the door, silently wondering about the woman behind him and what would happen.

As the door closed, the singer smirked to herself, sat back down and finished her makeup. Unfortunately, she had not really much of a selection in her dressing room. Only the dress she wore to the theater. It would have to work.
When she opened the door, she was dressed for the first time since meeting this strange force user. And a shame too. It was not exactly one of her favorite dresses either. Simple, black, with leather boots.

"Let's go, Sunshine. What did you have in mind?"

By the time the lovely singer had finished clothing herself, Jared had already made a reservation at the top restaurant of Coruscant, Noma. It was hard to get in there, but waving around with a Lord title and the promise of a lot of spending did wonders to the availability of a table. Graciously he offered her his arm and walked her to the Limousine that was waiting outside for him. When he had left Coruscant he left as a poor sod, owning only the clothes on his back and a couple of small trinkets. But when he had finally returned after his steady rise in the Fringe, he had made sure he could stay here in style.

"We are going to dine at Noma, of course only if you are ok with that."

Noma. The name nearly name the young singer trip over herself.

"How did you get a reservation there!?" she gasped, "My assistants been trying to get me a table for months!"

This was unheard of. Did he plan this?

The Admiralty
There had been no planning involved to this meeting, at least.. the plan had been to watch an Opera and then maybe go grab a drink at a bar. But the moment he stepped into the wrong room in search for a restroom, well Jared was a quick thinker. Getting into Noma was not a hard thing to do when you were the one of the highest officials of the Fringe and a Master in the Force. A little Force Domination here, a couple of credits there and he had ensured that a table would always stand ready for him in the establishment. Balcony-view, candles, secluded everything stand ready when they had arrived. It was good to be him, that much was for sure.

"Careful now, my dear. You almost sound impressed, after you." he said with a charming smile, opening the door to the limousine.

This guy was... weird. There was part of her screaming in the back of her head. A part that could already read the headlines tomorrow.
Body of Opera Star Found in Back Alley.

And then there was another, even bigger part that was rolling her eyes at the other part and telling herself to just 'go for it'. That was the part that eventually won out. Before she knew it, she was in his limousine.

The Admiralty
Without a break in his rhythm he gracefully joined the Lady in his limousine, closing the door behind him with care in his movement. His hand brushed the leather that lined the interior of the car and with a gesture a compartment opened itself. From there he took a bottle of fine liquor and poured them both a glass, offering one to the Lady next to him. With a slight tilt he listened to his driver and then answered with a grin: “We are off to Noma, Gavin. Yes, I know about miss Santhe. Santhe Corporation operated for thousands of years without my involvement, I am sure it will not go bankrupt if I wait one extra week. Just reschedule the drink, she will not mind.”

The plans to take over Santhe Corporation had been in motion for quite some time now, but sadly Jared was quite enthralled with the woman next to him. It would have to wait for now, dinner sounded much better in his ears than meaningless jabber about contracts and other details.

Turning his head to Arinitha he said with a feint smile: "Excuse me again for my previous intrusion, it was not my meaning to barge in just like that."

And now Arinitha felt horribly under dressed. Her plans for the evening had been to do a quick autograph signing, get home, have a drink, watch a holodrama and go to sleep. Then do the same thing tomorrow.

Seems I'm drinking a little early this evening, she thought to herself as she took the drink offered to her.

"Uh huh," she answered, not quite believing him, "I am so sure that was all an accident. You had NO idea who's room you were barging into. Sure. We can go with that."

The Admiralty
He arched his eyebrow at that and then a chuckle escaped from his lips. Gingerly he sipped from his drink, rolling it around in his mouth while thinking about what she had said. It was clear that she did not believe him, not that it mattered much to him. The truth was a subjective thing as it stood and might be that the Force was guiding him every step of the way. Because it did seem queer to him that the first door he had opened was the dressing room for a half-naked beauty, who accepted his invitation to a dinner rather.. quickly. He wondered if she was actually some kind of assassin who had been deep-under cover, trying to off him. Not likely.

"Arinitha, do you really think a man such as me has the need to lie about such a things?" again his eyebrow arched, then he gestured lazily. "Women generally pursue me, not the other way around.

The singer raised a thin, painted on eyebrow as she took a long slow sip of her drink. He was cute, but was she really expected to believe he was as sought after as all that? Or maybe she was the one with the problem. She was never really attracted to anyone right off the bat. It was always all about her career.

"Pursue you? Really?" she asked skeptically as she looked him up and down, "Well, aren't I lucky then."
