Did you not learn your lesson last time?
Pretty sure last time resulted in a lot of destruction, and you getting away... but hey... we like destruction so let’s dance again!!!

totally wants to make things go boom again...

This has been fun so let’s keep it going.

So...I'm gonna roll with what you did because I didn't say I was flying at max speed, because if we were your mandos would have been roadkill (skykill?) and there would be no way in heck that you'd catch them using only jetpacks, especially after slowing down and re-starting your jetpack. I WOULD edit you saying they CAN move faster than any starfighter though because...well that's just not possible lol

I am mostly basing my jetpack antics off of the latest episode of Rebels where mandos with jetpack managed to keep up with TIE fighters and outmaneuver them. Granted there they dropped out of the back of a transport, but they still kept up with all the ships(and went faster than them) so i figured TIE>Basilisk in terms of speed so it makes sense.

Thank you for rolling with it.

You're correct in your observation that they caught TIEs. I would also caution the assumption that they were moving at max speed. That would mean they were capable of flying at 0ver 7000 mph with a jetpack which up till then was only capeable of short bursts/sustained slow hovering for mere seconds at a time.

So one side is a totalitarian regime who rule with an iron fist. And they want Force Users out.
And the other is a rebellious group of rebely terrorists who are willing to use WMD's to get what they want. Which is for Force Users to be allowed in the Mandalorian society and the Death Watch kicked out of power?

If my basic understanding of this conflict from what I've read is understood right. I wouldn't want to be on either side of this conflict. Where's my 3rd party choices?!

[member="Seris Vant"] there is no third party, the war has begun, kinda time to just pick which side you detest least (though you could make a third party, but I'd advise against it). Also the other side is backing Mia bc they just don't like the stuff Ra is presenting, the WMD stuff was something Mia and another Mando did of their own volition a little while back. They essentially destroyed Mandalore and caused mass casualties (well into the millions I believe) in order to make Mandalorians strong again or something. After that Mia then came back and said she was Mandalore, and things sorta played out from there.

The 3rd party choice is pure chaos. There's actually a growing popularity of people in the thread who do not align with either side, but are getting caught up in the violence.

It's a fun angle to take, go with whatever makes you muse tick!

Edit: Due to Martial Law being invoked on the city and Death Watch being the bigger aggressor here, enemies you're likely to run into are... Death Watch. And it's cool, there's plenty of people fighting us who don't support the Insurrectionists, so don't feel like we're painting you all into a corner.

Well, we had a Council of Alors, but they reaaaally sucked at doing their job. The first person to run for election nuked her own country. The other guy's a little bit tyranny, a little bit rock'n'roll.

The problem with new up'n'comers that I've been witnessing is, a lot of the Mandalorian writers are really tired of this "who runs this show" charade. Civil War is a fun idea we've been trying to do for a long time, yes, but the guys don't actually want to get caught up in a perpetual debate about the "right way" to do things with Mandalorians.

Because, from experience, there is no right way.

I hope this illuminates more on why there is no 3rd-party that is appealing to a large portion of the Mandalorian writers. It's a niche faction to begin with.

I'm really hoping Onyx actually gets the chance to fight you. Even if the fight ends in a draw where one of us retreats, I'm looking forward to battling you. Assuming I actually make it that far haha.

Yeah the third side are people like me or Muad Dib who don't want to follow either Ra, his Death Watch lackeys, and the new laws they're passing or Mia. To be fair though, the reason why HK right now would not follow Mia is not because he sees her as a rebel or terrorist, since like Ra she used to be the Mand'alore in the past and declared herself one now so as far as he's concerned until the war is over and one of them is dead she has as much claim to the title as Ra, but because she was the one behind the Mandalore Cataclysm in which earthquakes were triggered by a supervolcanoe explosion so he would want her face justice before anything else.

And the WMD thing, OOCly that wasn't Mia's doing but someone claiming to be on her side going a bit rogue, ICly HK doesn't even know about it going on, but there's something similar with Ra's forces and at least one squad of them being almost entirely really young child soldiers, which I personally find pretty find more than a bit disturbing especially if I'll end up being one of the people who has to fight them, but just like in Mia's case that wasn't his idea, in fact Ra told them to get to safety if I remember right, it's other writers choices.

As to the third side in this, one that I came to call Mando'ade, like Ra said it's pretty much the rest that is just caught in the middle of all this with different motivations and goals, for example HK just wants to get any civilians of Mandos who do not want to participate in the war out of the combat to just wait it out without backing either side, others like Muad decided to take a more active role and kind of screw both sides.
