Can we use our own weapons? Reason i ask is simply that my sabers can be locked into a training mode that will stop them from cutting into my opponent or causing any more harm than a nullified vibroblade would.

Sadly you are a little late, plus it'd result in an uneven number leaving 1 person out of a fight every round. If you could bring in 2 more people I could fill another slot myself, an RPJ could judge that fight to keep it fair, and we'd have an even matching again. Or if you have 3 more people we could also let you in if its not too late. As it is just you for now and it is late, it would confuse the setup a little.

Like I said then every other round someone would be sitting out. And while I figure someone appreciates getting a freebie, it wouldn't be fair to everyone else who would have to still write, even if it would be randomly selected giving everyone an equal chance.

If you have another contender, then ask if they know one other person. Like I said I'll fill a slot with Camellia or Hecate if needed and an RPJ can judge that match to eliminate bias on my or Chi Chuchi's part. So if you know one person, if you can get one other I'll enter too and randomly pair us together.

Yeah anything less than 3 is uneven.

If its just you then you sit out this round and someone sits out next round and the round after. 2 People let's you fight this round but makes someone sit out every other round. If you get at least 2 other people beside yourself we'll be good. We'd have 10 fights total which would break down evenly for the first 2 rounds. Sadly the best numbers to run with is 8 matches or 16, we actually got 8, but we certainly won't turn you away on this. But if we can try and avoid skipping anyone earlier on as long as possible it'd be preferable. So if you and 2 other people enter to give 10 matches instead of 9 it'd work out nicely.

If nexus needs 3 people i will be happy to be one of them if ok, i already RP alex but i dont expect Solan to get to the end where she will, so if its allowed ill gladly give someone a good fight before i lose.

That's fine by me. I won't hold it against anyone. . . .seeing as I also sort of let it slip my attention someone else entered multiple characters at first too. But its more for the fun than anything so its no problem as long as you believe you can handle it and have fun!

That means you only need to find one other person [member="Darth Nexus"] since I again can fill a slot too. So just bring in whoever you had in mind and we'll be set.

Also let me just go ahead and say you two have a wonderful match set up. Thank you both for such an incredible first match to start off this tournament, both of you are writing incredibly I just wanted to say such. It is a joy to watch Alex's Echani training show in her readings or Navio's movements, and Navio taking advantage of his lack of arming to grant himself a bit more speed than usual. You both are doing very well so far in being fair and are providing a high level of writing quality. I especially enjoy the environment descriptions, the tree was a nice touch without sounding out of place or a free exploit.
