A dev thread needs to be completed to effect this change.

[member="Barkt Melan"]

Approved.

[member="Olidiv Kenu"]

We'll count the two planets being ransacked/blown up respectively as your dev threads for moving. Approved.

[member="Darth Arcanix"]

[member="Jared Ovmar"] will be reviewing your advancement.

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

You have a Tier VI company with multiple subsidiaries, one of which already includes a seized canon company (Czerka). You are not permitted to take BlasTech as well.

[member="Gerion Ardik"]

Just a few points of clarification because I am confused, as previously this has been approved before. Browncoat arms is going to be merged into BlasTech, leaving me with the same amount of companies. Nothing would change in terms of what acquisitions I have, as BlasTech and Browncoat sell the same items that were previously stolen from Czerka.

Also, I do not have Czerka claimed in the canon companies. ( That was split between Jared Ovmar and Marek Starchaser. Neither retain the Czerka label), so I have no claim to any current canon companies to prevent me from claiming BlasTech.

Previously, RPJ Asemir Lor'kora and the Factory admin ( [member="Spencer Jacobs"] ), and you have approved similar subs, in include Ty'rel industries acquisition of Baktoid and Czerka with development threads to keep the tier. I realize everything is on a case by case basis, but I am confused on how I have done anything wrong, so please clarify as I have done the same here and am going by the stated rules in Canon Companies waiting for an RPJ or an Admin ruling.

I have had some time to ponder on the project and decided it is sufficient for the T4 advance, this will always be watched on a case-by-case basis though and my suggestion is that when you decide to start your T5 advancement thread- you do something unique and extraordinary.

With that said, your tier advancement has been approved.

Ain't No Rest For The Wicked
Company: Iron Crown Enterprises
Modification Made: Reformatting the submission and a change of ownership.
Rationale: With the Netherworld causing chaos across the Galaxy the Fringe Confederation scrambled to secure their old worlds and moved to incorporate new worlds that were formerly owned by the Omega Protectorate.

In the aftermath the Fringe found itself stretched thin, adding to this was the messy return of Iron Crown Enterprises (after Rave's death) as a state-run corporation. Irani, with his ties to the new colony worlds in new Fringe space, aided the Fringe in taking over the worlds and saw an opportunity in the slow-moving mammoth that was ICE.

Reaching out to the High Council of the Fringe, he was allowed to buy a majority share into the company, just as Rave had done in the old days, to properly regulate the company and keep it steered into the right direction.

Through this deal he appointed [member="Elias Truden"] as the overseer and acting CEO of Iron Crown, giving him full control over the company proper. All in an effort to solidify control, without spreading himself too thin by direct intervention.

Pertient Development Threads:

New Submission:
Iron Crown Enterprises

Headquarters: Annaj (centered around Annaj shipyards)

Locations:

Xal 3, Verkuyl, Ssi-Ruuvi Star Cluster (centered around Lwhekk shipyards), O'reen, Serpena, Riflor, 244Core, Dasid Anya, Rakata Infinite Empire (centered around Rakata Beta shipyards), Tion Trade Nexus. Eriadu (centered around its industry and shipyards), Sluis Van (centered around its shipyards) and Bespin.

Operations: Shipbuilding, Unknown Regions trade facilitation, starship components, spacer equipment, personal weapons, bacta-related equipment, design production rights broker

Rationale:

With the Netherworld causing chaos across the Galaxy the Fringe Confederation scrambled to secure their old worlds and moved to incorporate new worlds that were formerly owned by the Omega Protectorate.

Ownership is 30% Fringe Confederation and 70% Darell Irani/Ty’rel Holdings. [member="Elias Truden"] is the CEO and overseer of Iron Crown Enterprises.

Tier: 4

Description:

ICE started as a parastatal conglomerate, a state-owned holding and managing company which the Lords of the Fringe used to control their shipyards at Annaj, Rakata Beta, and Lwhekk, the largest and most experienced shipyards in Wild Space or the Unknown Regions. (In the case of Lwhekk, ICE's yards are as comprehensive and capable as any in the galaxy.)

Since then, it has constructed virtually every Fringe military vessel, at all scales, and has a near-unity market share in the Unknown Regions starship business. It has dozens of trading partners, a network unparalleled in the Unknown Regions. In terms of galactic business, its focus is threefold.

First, ICE is a primary gateway to the technologies and trade goods of the Unknown Regions, in both directions. Second, ICE prioritizes the starship components and accessories market, selling to individuals as well as shipbuilding corporations. This market includes after-market starship modifications, before-market components, space suits and associated gear. Third, ICE -- having acquired the blueprints and/or production rights for many, many starships over the course of its existence -- situates itself as a broker and merchant of blueprints and production rights.

Actual starship sales are not a primary focus of ICE's galactic business model, though it is considered a strong second-tier manufacturer.

Subsidiaries: Ice owns the Iron Crown Armories brand name. ICE is a subsidiary of Ty’rel Holdings (Tier 6).

Permission has been given from the Lords of the Fringe Owner ([member="Lucianus Adair"]) to purchase a majority share in the state-run company. [member="Ashin Varanin"], haven't been able to catch you on Skype, are you okay with this?

[member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Gerion Ardik"] The sale is approved as long as Danger can find another writer to run the company. It can fly under the umbrella of companies that Danger does own, but I would like someone else (someone new) to control the company.

[member="Ashin Varanin"] [member="Darell Irani"] Most of these type of moves we require dev threads to play out the move. Because I know Ashin's writer has a lot going on IRL if you could provide a small 10 post or break up the last thread up into posts that would fit the requirement. Beyond that its approved once the minor thread is applied.

Company: Incom Corporation
Modification Made: Headquarters Information
Rationale: Considering the Netherworld event destroyed Corellia and the items were evacuated and the removal from Republic space – things need to be defined.

Corporation Name: Incom Corporation
Headquarters: Manufacturing Centers – Ranklinge, Commenor, Fresia, Fondor (Contracted) | Research and Development Center – Rakata Prime | Administration Center - Chandrila

Locations: After the events that effected the entire galaxy, Incom Corporation shifted the entire company structure throughout the Galaxy. Alyesa Organa decided to move the R&D facility to the further reaches of space while keeping the Headquarters closest to the centers of business in the Core Worlds. They maintained their facilities throughout the Galaxy to Include Ranklinge, Commenor, Fresia and Fondor.

Operations: Incom started its existence as Torranix Inertial Compensator Corporation, but the awkward name soon slimmed down to Incom Corporation. They are leaders in repulsorlift technology and starship design, and have long ridden the success of their X-Wing line of starfighters and other developments. Currently, they make all manner of vehicles, ranging from ground-based pleasure, racing, and utility vehicles, to space vessels - starfighters, freighters, yachts, and larger craft. Even massive repulsorlifts, the most famous of which being Cloud City, are part of Incom’s repertoire.

Rationale: Alyesa Praxon’s path to getting Incom Corporation under her belt was a rather interesting one. A tale of disaster that turned into a story of success. She was aiding the Republic on Drunkenwell in the aftermath of the Confederacy and Omega Protectorate battle. Her job was to assess the damage to contracts by each company effected by the battle, at that time it was brought to her attention how badly Incom Corporation had suffered. Their losses were not only monetary but they had lost a substantial amount of high-end personnel and Alyesa knew with a company like Incom Corporation and it’s various achievements throughout the years, it was too big to fail. Alyesa knew of ways to bail them out, but it had to be secured quickly. Through quick thinking and financial negotiations, Alyesa was able to secure bonds and other loans to aid Incom Corporation and in turn buy them out with an initial 65% purchase of stock. After a few weeks, when the aftermath of Drukenwell had subsided and the initial contracts of the Republic and other governments had been fulfilled, Alyesa was able to purchase an additional 15% of the stock. In the end, after the wake of Drunkenwell and the financial crisis, Alyesa invested 20% of the stock back into Incom Corporation, allowing herself 60% control and 20% financial investment into the company with 20% remaining for stockholders and any private investors. This investment and control allows her to interact with higher-up engineers, assist with day to day operations and make changes as she sees fit with or without assistance from a stockholder appointed Board of Directors.

Tier: Tier IV

Description: Incom Corporation started out as Torranix Inertial Compensator Corporation, which was a company that specialized in design, construction and implementation of repulsorlift technology. This company was increasing the standard of repulsorlift technology through increasingly complex design and quality. One of the more noteable designs and creations was that of Cloud City, in the mining world of Bespin. A short while after, they partnered with Sub-Pro Corporation to create an atmospheric fighter and spacecraft which would become known as the Z-95 Headhunter. This craft became the base of mainstream galactic aerospace engineering, and a product line that lasts for generations. After the success of the Z-95, contractual obligations and partnerships between Incom and Sub-Pro went south, thus leading to the two companies to go separate directions.

During the Clone Wars, Incom Corporation was commissioned for a joint project known as the Aggressive Reconnaisance-170 or the ARC-170 Fighter. This fighter was a heavy fighter/bomber variant which was utilized heavily during the end of the Clone Wars and eventually transitioned into the modern T-65A X-Wing design of the Galactic Civil War. Shortly after the X-Wing fighter plans were finalized, the Galactic Empire nationalized Incom. In response, a vast majority of the engineers and scientists defected, taking the X-Wing plans and four prototypes with them. In retaliation, the Empire arrested what former Incom employees they could find and sentenced them to the spice mines of Kessel, but they were rescued by Captain Antilles of the Alliance.

Some employees that didn’t defect, but didn’t remain with the Imperial-controlled Incom, broke away and created FreiTek, Inc. After the fall of the Empire, Incom regrouped, with FreiTek becoming a subsidiary corporation dedicated to avionics and armatures, existing under the Incom Corporation umbrella. Established in the last several years are two other subsidiary corporations: Incom Select and Incom Environmental. Incom Select was the brainchild of Araceli Loxley, who saw an untapped market that Incom could exploit - the high-end custom vessel market. Alyesa saw that both Incom Select and Environmental were subsidiaries that were nessecary to carry on from the previous Chief Executive Officer and were simplistic enough to not affect the bottom line. Incom was able to produce luxury craft, freighters, even gunships and starfighters (within legal limits, of course) for individuals, companies, and governments that wanted and could afford something more specialized than Incom’s mass-produced lines.

Alyesa did not share her predecessor’s view of the Confederacy of Independent Systems or the view of the Techno Union. One of her first acts as Chief Executive Officer and primary shareholder was to suspend all production of Confederacy related products immediately. She believed that Galactic Republic, the Omega Protectorate and other affiliated governments and factions would prevail from designs from Incom Corporation.

Company: Moross Shipwrights [ http://starwarsrp.net/topic/12521-moross-shipwrights/ ]
Modification Made: Ownership and company name change, updating description to include pertinent details that were not added since its creation.
Rationale: Moross Shipwrights has been sold and the company has undergone an overhaul. The original sub needed some updating, and will require a fresh write-up to reflect new ownership and company transformation.

Pertinent Development Threads:

New Submission:

Corporation Name: Ceto Engineering & Technology Operations [CETO]
Formerly Moross Shipwrights

Headquarters: Ceto

Locations: Ceto, Kinooine

Operations: Shipbuilding, refurbishing, repairs, and contracted mobile repair & builds.

Rationale: Bought in secret by KDY CEO Lorelei Darke, Darcy Sixsmith was chosen as Presiding Executive and public facade of CETO.

Tier: 5

Description:

Owned by: Majority Shareholder Lorelei Darke of the Kuat Drive Yards (60%)
President of the Company: Darcy Sixsmith (30%)
Public Shares (10%)

CETO is first and foremost a shipwright and outfitter of the Outer Rim for local governments and organizations requiring such for the use of civilians, transportation, defensive and offensive measures, and everything in between. Its shipyards, expanded and redesigned by the KDY since falling under the rule of the Moross Crusade, are capable of fielding ship numbers and sizes comparable to that of the KDY main orbital shipyard (not counting KDY’s numerous other shipyards throughout the Kuat system and other canon systems).

Though the original company, Moross Shipwrights, began as a smaller founder corporation leasing the Ceto driveyards in order to fulfill their needs, over the course of the Moross Crusade rule the economy underwent several changes and the ownership of the shipyards in question soon fell into the hands of the Moross state per nationalized industry standards. Moross Shipwrights served its purpose for the Crusade for many years, but went into decline just before the Netherworld event. After the reaping, the company became defunct. Seeing an opportunity for expansion, arrangements were made in private for KDY to seize control of the shipyards in order to put them back into use.

It is not publicly known that the majority shareholder of CETO is, in fact, the CEO of the KDY (60% shares), making the company a secret subsidiary of the shipwright titan. The public face of CETO is that of [member="Darcy Sixsmith"], an unassuming blond man who fell into the position and owns (30%) shares, with the remaining (10%) shares being publically owned by the people of Ceto. He takes direction from the curiously absent benefactor for which he only has the name The Matron represented by a rather shady man named Ereza Kep. Now employing Ceto civilians and other local engineers, designers, and scientists, CETO stands as a beacon in the far reaches of space for those smaller factions looking to make a name for themselves.

CETO offers to the local systems ships for varying needs. Now out from under the rule of the Crusade, religion and government plays no role in how they conduct business. This stands as a boon to those factions who seek to wage war against the Sith and their allies, given that most of the galaxy’s greatest shipwrights are now under their control. Government contracting as well as private contracts are all well within their ability.

As well as building new ships, CETO offers a top-of-the-line refurbishment department that takes in salvaged ships for rebuild and upgrade. While the bulk of the main CETO driveyards manages the larger end of the manufacturing spectrum such as capital ships, its orbital driveyards over Kinooine take care of the smaller projects. Mobile Repair Yards and minor Ship Yards can be contracted for out-of-system use, or stand-alone over Kinooine.

HALCYON space train systems set up by the Moross Crusade between Ceto, Exocron, and Kinooine make traveling far easier and safer, allowing for the CETO employ and their clientele to conduct business without worry or delay.

Subsidiaries: None

I have clearance from [member="Soliael Talith"] for these modifications.
