The products you need, the quality you deserve...

Corporation Name: Pharma-Tech - A Subsidiary of BlastTech

Headquarters: Fondor

Locations: Bothuwai, Endor, Junction, Anzat

Operations: Pharma-Tech is a new start-up venture from Blas-Tech industires with civilian as well as military applications. Their product lines will vary as the company itself grows. With multiple lines starting, the company hopes to get a foothold in most nations with readily bought pharmaceuticals. A lesser known line is being developed with intentions to be used for military application across the galaxy.(Chemical warfare for the dunderheads.)

Rationale: Pharma-Tech was formally a subsidiary of Blas-Tech Industries. [member=Valik] and [member="Jacen Cavill"] formed the company after a few backroom deals between the Sith Lords. With this newest venture, the two Sith can further expand their cloud of influence into new markets via a new company. Valik himself will oversee the day to day operations with a massive investment publicly from Cade Lee that allowed the company to open on three worlds in such crowded territory. The company already has access to all of Blas-Tech's resources and through this the Master Alchemist will be able to further his schemes while appearing legitimate.

At the acquisition of Blast-Tech by [member="Alric Kuhn"], he placed the subsidiary for sale by auction. As of now Danger Arceenau won the bid, becoming the new owner of the subsidiary and placing it under the umbrella of Arceneau Trade Company and working in close proximity with Browncoat Arms & Industrial

Tier: II

Description: Pharma-Tech was a company opened by Blas-Tech Industries. A few product lines are currently in development as development centers have been placed on strategic worlds in the most populous factions. With access to Blas-Tech's massive amounts of money and supplies, the company already has a good supply line set up. With competitively priced pharmaceutical goods being supplied for dirt cheap, the company hopes to squash the competition through mass production of cheap, effective goods. Through the profits of this line, the company will expand to further markets while secretly developing a military line the galaxy has never seen.

That's the true purpose of Pharma-Tech, the innovate chemical warfare. Where most would let morals stop them, the CEO of Pharma-Tech, and his boss at Blas-Tech have no such thing privately. Through independent research and development done in secret on worlds with primitive populations, they strive to make weapons most governments wouldn't publicly touch. Jacen Cavill's business contacts in the Tion Hedgemony and Valik's skill in alchemy allow them to produce weapons with a dark side flair that most wouldn't notice. This will allow them to sell mass contracts to factions that will allow the risky venture to eventually pay off and let the company eventually stand on it's own and become a galactic name of it's own.

Future endeavors may include military medicine, as well as goods to be used for multiple applications. This all hinges on their core products taking off, which through shrewd maneuvers most certainly will.

At the acquisition of Blast-Tech by [member="Alric Kuhn"], he placed the subsidiary for sale by auction. As of now Danger Arceenau won the bid, becoming the new owner of the subsidiary and placing it under the umbrella of Arceneau Trade Company and working in close proximity with Browncoat Arms & Industrial.

As expansions would net Blast Tech into the umbrella of ATC, in order to ensure a seemless transition and due to the former relationship between Pharma Tech and Blast Tech, the pharmaceutical company was once again brought under BlastTech Industries as a subsidiary. It still maintains a close relationshp with Arceneau Trade and Browncoat Arms and Industrial, but for now has been moved to expand under the new leadership of the BlastTech CEO.

Company: Gaillard Corporation
Modification Made: Change name to Gaillard (just that) and reflect that it is a subsidiary of KDY (not sure how I'm supposed to go about that)
Rationale: Alek's excessive spending and interests in R&D have lead to an otherwise neglect of financial conversation and business management within the company. After suffering value losses and requiring partnership with a larger more influential company to survive. Alek willingly sold full control of the company over to KDY in order to pursue his R&D interests without worrying about running a company. Gaillard will now be little more than a brand name and division under KDY.

Company: ArmaTech Combat Systems
Modification Made: Remove Balmorra Location and Headquarters, Change to Jabiim
Rationale: With the CEO having recently joined the Galactic Republic it seemed unwise to continue R&D operations on Balmorra, currently a Sith Controlled World.

Corporation Name: ArmaTech Combat Systems
Headquarters: Jabiim
Locations: Jabiim, Near the Razor Coast
Operations: Technology Design and Development
Rationale: Draco and Benji used their combined wealth to create the Company from the Ground Up
Tier: Tier 1
Description:
The Founders, CEO Draco Vereen and COO Benji Idiro, combined their wealth to purchase equipment to outfit a small warehouse into a facility capable of manufacturing small amounts of equipment, forge rare materials, and design advanced systmes. The company was created with the intention of producing high grade weapons and armor for individuals, the company is basically just and R&D department for unique and limited quantity equipment that requires significant funds to maintain. With only a small amount of manufacturing space it takes time to fabricate a single system or set of components. It serves as a source of credits for the two of them, and doubles as a gratifying hobby for Benji and a way to gain new equipment for Draco. Utilizing an experienced designer, a capable enforcer, and an acquisitions team, they are able to gain access to rare materials to produce advanced systems.

Your submission was updated.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

I will need a small ten-post dev thread, detailing your move from the one location to another. Seeing as you don't have any locations there I advise you to thread out selling your factories etc on Balmorra and using the money to buy on your new location.

Company: Corellian Engineering Corporation
Modification Made:

Headquarters: Fondor (Temporary)
Tier: 3

Rationale: Corellia kinda got blown up. So... Something that should be updated. Since a lot of CEC's production was tied up in the Corellian system, I figured a tier reduction was in order. Facilities at Druckenwell and Etti IV remain undamaged, but this was a big blow, so I figured a two-tier reduction seemed reasonable.

Company: Arakyd Industries

Modification Made: General update in light of having acquired the mantle of CEO. (Locations, Susidiaries, etc.)

Rationale: In light of obtaining leadership of the company, whilst also dissolving Stargo Defense Enterprises and incorporating said holdings into Arakyd, an update is heavily warranted.

Although inactive, the original owner [member="Phoebe Draclau"] gave me permission to take over Arakyd. I also touched base with [member="Jared Ovmar"] prior to starting anything and was directed to make a ten post development thread detailing the acquisition and SDE's dissolution. I also touched base with [member="Gerion Ardik"] regarding the aforementioned topics and the issue of maintaining Tier 4. I was given the green light to proceed on all fronts.

Pertient Development Threads:

Options - In a joint meeting between Arakyd Industries and SDE, Isley is granted ownership of the former and spearheads the dissolution of the latter.

Power Play - The locations of SDE (now Arakyd) are expanded to Makeb and Antecedent through a contract with the Red Ravens.

Something About Slates - SDE (Now Arakyd) obtains Arcrystal as a Subsidiary.

Business - SDE (Now Arakyd) obtains Carrison Tech and Fashion as a subsidiary,

Operations & Rationale

Operations:

Prior to even the rise of the Galactic Empire, Arakyd Industries has been an exceptional manufacturer of combat-centric products. However, recent history has brought the corporation into contact with some of the more illegitimate trades of the Galaxy; and as such participation in underground activities has become a minor part of Arakyd Industries' operations.

Major Products:
  • Starships
  • Vehicles
  • Droids
  • Personal Weapons
  • Personal Armor
Rationale:

What began with blackmail ended with success.

Arakyd Industries was once a notable corporation prior to the Gulag Plague. Throughout history it provided its customers with exceptional arms and vessels; whilst also remaining quiet enough to evade complete dominance by one particular government or another. When the Darkness hit, Arakyd was almost wiped out along with trillions of lives; yet against all odds it managed to endure. Although the recovery process took quite a long time, the corporation managed to get back on its feet in the modern era.

Then, the changes began.

The first began with a skillful display of blackmail by [member="Phoebe Draclau"]. She, wielding information that could have potentially ruined the former CEO and the company's reputation, wielded what she knew until ownership and control was passed to her. From this position, Phoebe boldly led Arakyd into a new age of prosperity...yet vanished when a Galaxy-wide calamity struck. A celestial by the name Akala rampaged about, causing billions to vanish into the void. In the wake of this grand disappearance, complete and utter chaos reigned.

Arakyd did its best to hold together, but without proper leadership the company's future was bleak. As such, they began seeking options to replace the capable CEO that had previously taken control. After a thorough search, their prime candidate was someone rather close to Phoebe: her estranged husband Isley. A capable businessman in his own right, Isley was uniquely familiar with the inner workings of Arakyd Industries and could possibly be the leader the corporation needed. When the Board approached him with their offer, they were met with more than they expected.

Not only would be accept, but he paved the way for Arakyd Industries to completely absorb his current corporation: Stargo Defense Enterprises. Now bolstered by numerous holdings and new technologies, Arakyd Industries is now stronger than ever under the leadership of Isley Verd.

Tier Level & Description

Tier: 4

Subsidiaries:Description:

In the beginning, things were simple.

Arakyd Industries existed in a Galaxy characterized by constant strife, yet this did not deter the corporation from exploring the stars. For this aspiration did the company create a line of exploration droids which were responsible for putting the manufacturer on the map. With time, opportunity knocked rather soundly and Arakyd Industries began to expand. They boldly stepped into the market of creating starships and soon were a major contributor to the first generation of the Techno Union.

Under said banner did Arakyd continue to thrive for many years. New lines of droids were produced, new starship models were created; and all seemed to be going exceptionally well. Of course, in the wake of the Separatist Crisis there was a touch of decline, yet Arakyd continued the course until well after the restoration of the Republic. Then, after centuries of steady growth and success, the Gulag Plague struck. In but an instant, the foundation of all the corporation had built crumbled to ruin until only Darkness remained.

Then, against all odds, a family arose that saw the Arakyd name through the black. As the Galaxy recovered, so too did the corporation under the guidance of this dynasty. Although it was more than challenging, the company made a triumphant return to the Galaxy at large; and even resumed serving the Techno Union as it had done once before. However, this leadership did not last, for blackmail saw a new CEO installed...and soon thereafter, a literal deity saw that leadership displaced as well. Once again, Arakyd was tossed into turmoil until a decision was made regarding the future.

The Board of directors reached out to a certain Mandalorian, who almost instantly gave the company a new breath of life. As his first act, he bolstered the wounded corporation with new assets and set them on the path to innovate for decades to come. Although saturated, the militant market has yet another exceptional contender, and it's name is Arakyd Industries.

Operations:

Blas-Tech is the largest producer of personal energy weapons and light infantry. The company also produces turbolasers, ship weapons, missiles, and it's subsidiary Tarascii Explosives makes thermal detonators. They have also started producing armor, as well as well as Walkers. Eventually Tarascii Explosives will begin producing larger scale explosives and missiles to go along with the companies aggressive stance on weapons manufacturing.

Rationale:

Time would soon bring a new majority stockholder. And this would be none other than the Queen of Trade herself: Danger Arceneau. However, this was no ordinary bill of sale. No sweet conversation with the trading of credits.

No, this transfer was built on the foundation of a melting pot of emotions, near death experiences, and a long journey across the sands dunes of Tatooine survival style.

Danger Arceneau originally intended to buy out the company from Alric Kuhn through her usual methods of persuasion and a fair bit of credit. However, the tables were turned when in an unseen incident led to cracking of her mask, setting the scoundrel of an Alric Kuhn to shatter the Trade Queen's perfect facade of business acumen into a state of vulnerability that ended with an offer for BlasTech for Arceneau Trade Stock.

With his honor sullied, Alric Kuhn would deny the sale, stating that he wouldn't sell BlasTech to Arceneau if she were the last woman in the 'Verse. Needless to say, four days later "Danger Arceneau" would pay a visit to Kuhn, seemingly undisturbed over their most passionate encounter that had left her trembling in panic and apprehension.

It was in the eyes that Alric Kuhn managed to determine that the woman before him asking for BlasTech was not Danger Arceneau at all, but a mere Human Replica Droid. Angered beyond belief, an ionic blaster would take care of the HRD, and Alric in turn would impulsively travel half the galaxy to the arid planet of Tatooine to fine Danger himself.

However, he would soon realize that he was quickly over his head in the wilds of Tatooine. Hiring a merc to be his guide, Alric would travel the vast plains and canyons of Jungland Wastes -- No Man's land and a territory known to be the death of many who were unprepared for its perils. He soon would find out a warm -- and deadly welcoming in the sudden onslaught of bounty hunters after his hide, resulting in the death of his guide as well as his capture by Tusken Raiders...

He was as good as dead.

Were it not for Danger Arceneau, he very well could have died, for his reckless actions saw fit to result in the near flaying of his back by the sting of a Tusken Raiders whip. It was Danger who would come to his rescue, only to be caught herself and thrown along with the quickly expiring life of one Alric Kuhn.

Tending his wounds through desert survival training and the raw Aspha Mold, Danger managed to bring Alric from the brink of death, allowing for the flesh to regrow upon his back with the painful miracle cure. It was only through working together the next two days that they were able to escape and find refuge in the caverns of the Wound.

Their journey would continue for another week, resulting in the two to come to terms with the other until finally, Alric Kuhn would come to the agreement that would result in the transfer of ownership of BlasTech to Danger Arceneau.

Tier: 4

Description:
Blas-Tech Industries is the largest producer of blaster and energy weaponry in the galaxy. This focus has spread to include producing said armaments for ships, speeders, anything that can really hold a weapon. Moving forward logically, this focus has also shifted to what can protect an individual from said weapons they produce, as well as what types of platforms can carry their products. With the ever changing needs of those with an eye for the companies products, Blast-Tech has made a focus to always be ahead of the curve. This has led to a leap forward in it's weapons systems, and an ever expanding team for research and development.

With production facilities on all faction capitals(and on a few extra worlds for those with the coin) Blas-Tech is ideally suited to produce weaponry for every nation in the galaxy. Following a business model of always have at least 4-5 distribution centers in a nation at least, this has kept the company on the track to always being there when customers need them. A clause in every contract signed by the company allows it to ship weapons to another nation if production is lagging in one region, or they need to rid themselves of surplus in another region. War is a cyclical thing after all, and not every Nation is in conflict at all times. This allows a constant flow of inventory, while allowing production to continue unimpeded and possibly break labor laws on worlds where droids aren't permitted.

Iron clad contracts protect the company, and their open approach to their multiple dealings has helped rather than hinder. Being around longer than most nations has made the company be seen as a steadying force. While it does sale to nations that would be frowned upon, those operations are done in secret, and company logos are not used. In truth, Blas-Tech will sale to anyone with the credits to purchase their products. Those deals aren't openly discussed, but the company has a revenue stream coming from anyone with a need for energy weapons in the galaxy. In the wake of the 400 years darkness, this was used for slow expansion. Now that multiple nations are amassing arms for war, the company has upped production and it's factories to meet need while keeping prices affordable.

With such high quality weapons, the company is using it's research centers to push armor technology forward. Scientist there have also begun scaling up their weapons for ship use, as well as designing new walkers. These items have been pushed to mass-production status. Due to the high quality of the weaponry, Cade Lee found that most of the company's monthly income was from contract payments and missile and thermal detonator shipments. Seeking to streamline the process of ordering for customers, and making the company cutting edge. He streamlined gas cartridge ammunition with the "Plug N Fire" system. This allows for a steady stream of revenue, as the company further expands itself.

With the recent disappearance of Cade Lee and no one being able to find him, the company lost its way. Though previous take over attempts by other corporations failed one enterprising young man by the name of Alric Kuhn saw an opportunity to take over the company. Though not necessarily having the financial means to outright buy Blas-tech was Alric did have was a multitude of investors as well as his own Holding Company known as Kuhn Consolidated. Through the schmoozing of many rich people, as well as tremendous collateral to the Neimoidian banks, Alric managed to secure enough funding to worm his way into the investors vote of Blas-Tech Industries.

From there it was a simple matter of beginning to corrupt the members of the companies board. There, with the absence of Cade Lee still strong in their mind, Alric managed to convince many of the board members as well as a few substantial share holders to place him in charge of the company.

Though many argued against this action, mostly because Alric was a no-name business man from Neimoidia, a few saw the talents as well as the growth that Alric had created within his own company within simply a year. With a test of his intellect, and quick answers to potential problems that Blas-Tech Industries now faced the board ultimately decided that they at this point had nothing to lose, and as such placed Alric in charge of the company.

Their journey would continue for another week, resulting in the two to come to terms with the other until finally, Alric Kuhn would come to the agreement that would result in the transfer of ownership of BlasTech to Danger Arceneau.

The result will end with a new CEO in charge of running the vast corporation that was BlasTech. An agreement was set into place with Felicity Simmons, who would be in charge of running Blast Tech as well as personally involved with the expansion of Pharma Tech.

Much like before, Pharma Tech was brought back into the fold of Blast Tech as a direct subsidiary of Blast Tech, allowing Felicity Simmons to personally cultivate that company to her biochem hearts content.

Expansive barley farmlands throughout the Corellian System
This is a distillery, producing and manufacturing and various varieties of Corellian whiskey, to include Whyren's Corellian whiskey, Aurodium Reserve, and Whyren's Reserve.
Has expanding into Corellian ales, Meads, and wines.
Rationale: Family owned business appropriated through the preservation of traditional Corellian whiskey recipes.
Tier: III

Description:
Coming from a Corellian family with deep roots in the Whiskey business for generations, the Gulag virus had at one time, been the seemingly cause of the loss of the traditional Whyren's whiskey recipes. Through many of the Whyren and Blake family had perished in the wake of the virus, that well known stubborn nature managed to personificate itself in sheer stubbornness and willpower to live on, providing a means for Chloe Blake's ancestors to preserve the recipes that many a Corellian and off worlders love.

It is tradition and iconic symbols like Whyren's that are a testimony to Corellian nature, that classic 'Never tell me the odds' mentality. With a few credits and enough golden fields of barley from the family farms, the Blake family preservered, bringing back to the galaxy a little bit of Corellian hospitality in each and every bottle. From each seed that is sown, to every grain harvest, to careful and traditional distillery methods and finally, aged in Corellian oak, Whyren's provides an unmatchable taste and complexity no other whiskey can match.

By the turn of 840 ABY, it was the largest producer in the Corellian Sector, producing 1,000,000,000 gallons annually. Corellian whiskey is a prime ingredient in traditional ryshcate, along with Vweilu nuts. The whiskey has a woody, spicy flavor that was similar to the scent of Caamasi.

Corellian whiskey was primarily popular among Corellians themselves. Despite its popularity with them, most Corellians not actually living on Corellia itself tended to reserve the drink for special occasions, due to its rarity and prohibitive expense elsewhere in the galaxy.

One particularly favored brand produced by the Blake family is Whyren's Reserve (also spelled Whyrren's Reserve). It is a rare, expensive Corellian whiskey, second to none. It had an amber color and a crisp, woody taste. It was a favorite of the black market trade. Wedge Antilles was fond of the drink. And it was once estimated that a case of extremely rare Whyren's Reserve batch number NN182 was equivalent to, if not more valuable than, the cost of the Millennium Falcon.

The Blake family currently owns and operates all production and manufacturing of traditional Corellian whiskies, with proprietary rights to Whyren's reserve. While there are many offworld distilleries that try to imitate Whyren's, none can come close to the original. Today, Whyren's is the Corellian Sector's largest single-distillery whiskey.

So much has come about in expansion with the Southern Systems Business Bazaar and new contract opportunities, that Whyren's is becoming once more the premier go to distillery and brewery of the growing Galactic Core and beyond.
