Company: Emeritus Industries
Modification Made: Ownership
Rationale: Change of ownership

Pertient Development Threads:
  • [x] - [ Alicia Drey and Circe Savan meet in her laboratory to discuss the future of Savan's corporation. With the disapperence of Ayden Cater, Savan signs Cater's shares to Alicia Drey, becoming it's joint owner at 50% ]

New Submission:
Ownership:
  • Owner: Circe Savan (Under Alias)
  • Co-Owner: Ayden Cater (Under Alias) (old) -> Alicia Drey

[member="Alicia Drey"] [member="Enigma"]

Unless I can get confirmation from [member="Ayden Cater"] that he is indeed "Dead" or that he is okay with this, shares cannot be transferred over simply due to the disappearance of a character. Even then, there is also a last will or testament to consider for any inheritance.

Stocks do not transfer that way.

This is pending until confirmation.

Company: Sinner's Clothing
Modification Made: Ownership to [member="Patricia Susan Garter"]
Rationale: Before Romeo's death, a will was written out. Patricia was greatly included in this as he wanted something to help her take care of their kids. So he gave her his clothing line.

New Submission: Do I need do this??? As it's just a transfer of ownership.

Company: Bane Innovation

Modification Made: I would like its Headquarters moved from Antecedent to Nar Shaddaa

Rationale: Once the Red Ravens took control of Nar Shaddaa, Cryax Bane began to focus his efforts on building up Red Ravens interests on the Smuggler's Moon. He is leaving the Antecedent interests in the hands of the other Red Raven top brass, such as Chiasa Kritivaas and Patricia Susan Garter and moving his personal residence and business to Nar Shaddaa.

Company: Archangel Research and Design
Modification Made: Replace Corellia as HQ/Location with Denon.
Rationale: Recently Corellia was occupied by the OS and in the process former Lord Protector Ayden Cater dropped its space stations on the planet. Until then Archangel's HQ was located on the planet, but it was destroyed in the process. Later the planet was split in half through the machinations of Akala, making it untenable as an HQ. However, through a deal with the Republic Archangel was able to set up shop in the Denon ecumenopolis. Whilst moving HQs is costly, both planets are fairly close and, moreover, Archangel does not need to pay its employees because they're droids. Funding was acquired from OP when it agreed to pay reparations.

Company: Firemane Industries & Technology
Modification Made: Remove Bespin from Locations, add Arkas.
Rationale: After Bespin was first invaded by Reavers and then occupied by Fringe following the massive wave of disappearances across the galaxy, Firemane Industries is unable to continue operations there due to its ties with OP. Moreover, its outpost was successfully raided by Moira Skaldi and Maelion Liates, putting a further dent in its operations.

Firemane mercenaries and Eldorai decisively aided the Levantines in eliminating the pirate and slaver menace on the newly discovered world of Arkas, whilst investigating rumours of lost Eldorai. As such Firemane will begin operations on the planet, with the aim of mining silver whilst helping develop the third world planet.

New Submission:

Corporation Name: Krayt Industries

Headquarters: Coruscant

Locations: Coruscant (shipyard and anti-matter stations), Sev Tok (shipyard), Galantos (droid production and research), Bilbringi (shipyard), Valc VII (shipyard and anti-matter stations)

Operations: Shipbuilding, Anti-Matter research and development, Droid production and research

Rationale: After the conquest of Coruscant, Darth Banshee and a select few others realized that the Sith fleet was outdated and was in need of modernizing to combat the Republic and the other enemies of the Sith. To that end, Banshee and her associates seized several bank assets belonging to the Republic elite that had fled Coruscant in the wake of the Sith invasion of the world. Marching into the Undercity and to other regions of the planet, she persuaded and took control of several shipyards, paying what they were worth and offering jobs to the more competent owners.

But all such things came to an end when it was discovered that Banshee had turned traitor against the Sith and allowing Darth Arcanix and Alexandra Lianne Feanor, as a shadow partner given her standing as a Grey Jedi, to take control after confronting the traitor.

Tier: 4

Description:

Krayt Industries builds military hardware for the One Sith and her allies. Each shipyard is geared up to build one product independently of one another. This is so that if a shipyard becomes victim of sabotage, it would only effect that one product. Plus with the builders and droids geared up to build one item they do it better, as it is the only product they know.

This also keeps training costs down, as they only need to learn one aspect of the job.

This does have a downside to how the company operates as well. It's harder for people to get promoted, as each yard is almost independent. Also when new lines come out they source a new place to build it, or moth ball an existing line. This also makes one of special harder to come by, as R&D aspect of the company is focused on building single lines of ships.

While it can be done, it is more expensive due to the nature of retooling a yard for it.

While for the moment concentrating on building a fleet, and technologies to enhance the building of and the ship itself, it will move into other sectors of the military as it expands.

After Krayt Industries came into ownership, the company shifted slightly. Still producing military hardware and ships for the One Sith and her allies, Arcanix and Alex realized that to grow, they needed to reach beyond that limited demographic. Moving the company away from its state-ownership and into a more private sphere, a restructing occurred. Going along the lines of other competitors, the shipyards were re-organized away from the specialization of one product to producing many, if not all, the hardware Krayt produces.

Also recognizing that phasing out production lines whenever a new product came out of R&D was not the greatest idea, Krayt facilities would manufacture older products for a longer period of time. The R&D budget was also increased to pave the way for multiple projects to be worked on simultaneously to keep newer and better things rolling out.

One thing left over from the Darth Banshee era is the recognition that eventually, the company would need to expand into other aspects of the market.

Darkwater2.jpg

Corporation Name: Darkwater Security
Headquarters: Lianna
Locations: Lianna
Operations: Service Provider - Personal and Cyber Security
Rationale:
Orcus, once known as Hion of Giju, used to be a mercenary who operated at the limits of Fondorian trade lanes, particularly around Suarbi 7. Since those days he has gone on to become a powerful Lord in the One Sith, but he maintains the corporate vision common to his species, as evidenced by Herglic Haute Coutere and his recent philanthropic venture of Safe Harbor Orphanage. After becoming involved in the trade federation known as the Tion Hegemony he realized there was a severe lack of adequate personal protection for high ranking corporate executives in the Tion Hegemony, some of whom even had outstanding warrants and bounties. Post-realization, he immediately touched base with old mercenary contacts and began contracting some of the deadliest mercenaries in the galaxy into a small private security firm known as Darkwater Security.

Tier 3

Description:
For those who can afford their services, Darkwater Security personnel offer the utmost protection as bodyguards. Currently, the team consists of elite amphibians and aquatic species from around the galaxy. Darkwater typically only hires the most imposing individuals as the company has a strong belief in protection through intimidation. In other words, if the people guarding your target look like they would eat you, your family, and your pet, then you'll think twice about making an attempt on the target.

That said, Darkwater also offers limited cyber security consulting from a select few personnel.

The average Darkwater contract is for one or two bodyguards, though in extraordinary circumstances four can be hired out at once. Darkwater's services are on the market for any enterprising executive who wishes for a large helping of extra muscle, or who just enjoys the company of a Herglic bodyguard.

Behold, a Swordsman of Legend
Company: Aganathau Holography and Faux Utilitarian Lightworks (AHFUL)
Modification Made: Demote to Tier 1, change of corporate headquarters to "mobile"

New Submission:
Corporation Name: Heofon Industries
Headquarters: Bothuwai
Locations: None yet
Operations: Shipbuilding
Rationale: Barkt founded Heofon Industries using the money left to him by his father, and has been using the engineers from Prototype lab Q after the Spynet was disbanded as well as the Bothuwai shipyards as the start of their company. The starship plans of his father, both from the past and those never implemented, are being built and updated to new standards.

After some time and effort, Heofon Industries has grown to include the whole of Bothuwai's shipyards, and Barkt, a capable designer in his own right, has begun to expand his work into freighters, although the CEO still loves producing and designing starfighters. And while they plan on beginning to build larger ships, the smaller ones will be their pride and joy.

Operations:

Blas-Tech is the largest producer of personal energy weapons and light infantry. The company also produces turbolasers, ship weapons, missiles, and it's subsidiary Tarascii Explosives makes thermal detonators. They have also started producing armor, as well as well as Walkers. Eventually Tarascii Explosives will begin producing larger scale explosives and missiles to go along with the companies aggressive stance on weapons manufacturing.

Rationale:

Time would soon bring a new majority stockholder. And this would be none other than the Queen of Trade herself: Danger Arceneau. However, this was no ordinary bill of sale. No sweet conversation with the trading of credits.

No, this transfer was built on the foundation of a melting pot of emotions, near death experiences, and a long journey across the sands dunes of Tatooine survival style.

Danger Arceneau originally intended to buy out the company from Alric Kuhn through her usual methods of persuasion and a fair bit of credit. However, the tables were turned when in an unseen incident led to cracking of her mask, setting the scoundrel of an Alric Kuhn to shatter the Trade Queen's perfect facade of business acumen into a state of vulnerability that ended with an offer for BlasTech for Arceneau Trade Stock.

With his honor sullied, Alric Kuhn would deny the sale, stating that he wouldn't sell BlasTech to Arceneau if she were the last woman in the 'Verse. Needless to say, four days later "Danger Arceneau" would pay a visit to Kuhn, seemingly undisturbed over their most passionate encounter that had left her trembling in panic and apprehension.

It was in the eyes that Alric Kuhn managed to determine that the woman before him asking for BlasTech was not Danger Arceneau at all, but a mere Human Replica Droid. Angered beyond belief, an ionic blaster would take care of the HRD, and Alric in turn would impulsively travel half the galaxy to the arid planet of Tatooine to fine Danger himself.

However, he would soon realize that he was quickly over his head in the wilds of Tatooine. Hiring a merc to be his guide, Alric would travel the vast plains and canyons of Jungland Wastes -- No Man's land and a territory known to be the death of many who were unprepared for its perils. He soon would find out a warm -- and deadly welcoming in the sudden onslaught of bounty hunters after his hide, resulting in the death of his guide as well as his capture by Tusken Raiders...

He was as good as dead.

Were it not for Danger Arceneau, he very well could have died, for his reckless actions saw fit to result in the near flaying of his back by the sting of a Tusken Raiders whip. It was Danger who would come to his rescue, only to be caught herself and thrown along with the quickly expiring life of one Alric Kuhn.

Tending his wounds through desert survival training and the raw Aspha Mold, Danger managed to bring Alric from the brink of death, allowing for the flesh to regrow upon his back with the painful miracle cure. It was only through working together the next two days that they were able to escape and find refuge in the caverns of the Wound.

Their journey would continue for another week, resulting in the two to come to terms with the other until finally, Alric Kuhn would come to the agreement that would result in the transfer of ownership of BlasTech to Danger Arceneau.

Tier: 4

Description:
Blas-Tech Industries is the largest producer of blaster and energy weaponry in the galaxy. This focus has spread to include producing said armaments for ships, speeders, anything that can really hold a weapon. Moving forward logically, this focus has also shifted to what can protect an individual from said weapons they produce, as well as what types of platforms can carry their products. With the ever changing needs of those with an eye for the companies products, Blast-Tech has made a focus to always be ahead of the curve. This has led to a leap forward in it's weapons systems, and an ever expanding team for research and development.

With production facilities on all faction capitals(and on a few extra worlds for those with the coin) Blas-Tech is ideally suited to produce weaponry for every nation in the galaxy. Following a business model of always have at least 4-5 distribution centers in a nation at least, this has kept the company on the track to always being there when customers need them. A clause in every contract signed by the company allows it to ship weapons to another nation if production is lagging in one region, or they need to rid themselves of surplus in another region. War is a cyclical thing after all, and not every Nation is in conflict at all times. This allows a constant flow of inventory, while allowing production to continue unimpeded and possibly break labor laws on worlds where droids aren't permitted.

Iron clad contracts protect the company, and their open approach to their multiple dealings has helped rather than hinder. Being around longer than most nations has made the company be seen as a steadying force. While it does sale to nations that would be frowned upon, those operations are done in secret, and company logos are not used. In truth, Blas-Tech will sale to anyone with the credits to purchase their products. Those deals aren't openly discussed, but the company has a revenue stream coming from anyone with a need for energy weapons in the galaxy. In the wake of the 400 years darkness, this was used for slow expansion. Now that multiple nations are amassing arms for war, the company has upped production and it's factories to meet need while keeping prices affordable.

With such high quality weapons, the company is using it's research centers to push armor technology forward. Scientist there have also begun scaling up their weapons for ship use, as well as designing new walkers. These items have been pushed to mass-production status. Due to the high quality of the weaponry, Cade Lee found that most of the company's monthly income was from contract payments and missile and thermal detonator shipments. Seeking to streamline the process of ordering for customers, and making the company cutting edge. He streamlined gas cartridge ammunition with the "Plug N Fire" system. This allows for a steady stream of revenue, as the company further expands itself.

With the recent disappearance of Cade Lee and no one being able to find him, the company lost its way. Though previous take over attempts by other corporations failed one enterprising young man by the name of Alric Kuhn saw an opportunity to take over the company. Though not necessarily having the financial means to outright buy Blas-tech was Alric did have was a multitude of investors as well as his own Holding Company known as Kuhn Consolidated. Through the schmoozing of many rich people, as well as tremendous collateral to the Neimoidian banks, Alric managed to secure enough funding to worm his way into the investors vote of Blas-Tech Industries.

From there it was a simple matter of beginning to corrupt the members of the companies board. There, with the absence of Cade Lee still strong in their mind, Alric managed to convince many of the board members as well as a few substantial share holders to place him in charge of the company.

Though many argued against this action, mostly because Alric was a no-name business man from Neimoidia, a few saw the talents as well as the growth that Alric had created within his own company within simply a year. With a test of his intellect, and quick answers to potential problems that Blas-Tech Industries now faced the board ultimately decided that they at this point had nothing to lose, and as such placed Alric in charge of the company.

The result will end with a new CEO in charge of running the vast corporation that was BlasTech. An agreement was set into place with Felicity Simmons, who would be in charge of running Blast Tech as well as personally involved with the expansion of Pharma Tech.
