Company: Subach-Innes
Modification: Please add Serpena, Echidna, the Silken Asteroids, Morje, and Morgania to the Subach-Innes locations list. As well, please promote the company to Tier II.
Company: Minerals and Metals Inc. Modification Made: Changing name, assuming direct control, altering company focus, moving company headquarters to Gromas 16, tier advancement Rationale: Incremental increase in stock ownership led to majority control.
Corporation Name: Mohc Extractives, formerly Minerals and Metals Inc. (M’n’M) Headquarters: Gromas 16 Locations: Alderaan, Val’hala, Dantooine, and prospecting throughout former Sith Empire space, Fringe space, Black Sun space, and Republic space Operations: Rare materials mining and prospecting. Rationale: Current ownership is as follows. Rave Merrill 66.67%, Lord Dissero 16.67%, Warren Valik 16.67%. Rave first acquired Velok’s 16.67% upon his death, then acquired the Fringe High Council’s 40%, then acquired 10% directly from JAC. Tier: 3 Description: Mohc Extractives is primarily invested in phrikite mining and refinement. It is also active in gemstone prospecting. Mohc Extractives operates phrikite mines on Gromas and Val’hala, and obtains its tydirium from a number of private contractors and public suppliers. Refining and casting operations take place on a number of worlds. Mohc’s operations are somewhat decentralized, meant to support roving teams of prospectors -- one of the few holdovers from the JAC administration. The difference is that, when M’n’M once focused entirely on small-scale prospectors to produce a few bars of precious metals, it is now a serious operation in its own right. Mohc sells refined phrik and other metals in ingot and sheet form. Its assets include nimble shuttles and very fast armed escorts; a Mohc shipment’s heavy gun loadout may cut into the company’s profit margins, but assaulting a Mohc convoy is a fast way to look foolish.
A single ten post thread will not be enough to catapult you into Tier III. In the wake of you not being a production company, do more threads about prospecting or setting up mines instead.
Corporation Name: Koensayr Manufacturing
Headquarters: Hypori
Locations: Regional sales offices throughout the Core; limited factories and shipping offices on Kuat, Lianna, Corellia, Mon Calamari, Nal Hutta
Operations: Although Koensayr manufactures a number of proprietary starships, its main focus is starship components. Nearly one-fifth of all starships have at least one component by Koensayr.
Rationale: Domino came into possession of Koensayr after the death of it's CEO 'Anrakk' who was in fact Velok in disguise. Through clever use of legalese and stock purchasing, Razelle and Domino were able to gain the Twi'lek a majority share and force the other board members out.
Tier: III
Description: Koensayr is a dedicated manufacturer of starship components on a galactic scale. Although its operations used to be centered on Hypori, it rents factory space and administrative facilities on Kuat, Lianna, Corellia, Mon Calamari and many other worlds with important shipyards, so as to more directly supply starship components to clients. Koensayr markets aggressively to starship design teams across the galaxy.
Since taking over, Domino has expanded Koensayr's production lines further into full-ship development securing footholds in the small to mid-range ship sectors since the Republic replaced several of the older 'heritage' designs from when she took the company. Now Domino supplies or has supplied ships to the Fringe, the Fel Imperium, Black Suns, as well as several Tier V companies without ever getting loose with sharing proprietary designs until the contract producing them was well over. Now Koensayr is seeking to expand in both locations and marketable production fields beyond just parts and ships given the ever-increasing number of producers in the galaxy.
"Successfully complete a project of sizable proportions."
There is no criteria for a major project. At least none that I've been able to find. If you have specific requirements for these threads, could you please elaborate on them somewhere. 13 posts from myself, 11 posts from 3 other writers directly related to my actions on the planet, and 83 other posts from numerous other writers whose actions enabled Larraq to negotiate terms in the manner that he did. Larraq obtained production rights, shipping contracts, and numerous other favorable business agreements that resulted in Mandal Hypernautics all but owning an entire continent on a planet renowned for starfighter and missile factories.
If that doesn't qualify, I'd really like to hear some specifics from you about what you're looking for.
Sign a contract with three more player-run organizations, one of which must be a major faction. RRDI Outlet (The Malfrozen - Minor Faction (Moved to Council of Sorcery))
I need a thread showing your take-over of the company.
[member="Særa Ayña Savan"]
I know you only posted that accidentally, but you'll want to link to the threads you negotiated your contracts in when you're ready.
[member="Captain Larraq"]
I read the thread. Twenty-four posts between you and your colleagues is not adequate for a major project. I do not consider that sufficient development or participation.
[member="Gerion Ardik"] - In relation to the Koensayr takeover thread after Velok's death, I can attest that it happened, I read it, and it was sufficient. I believe it was lost in the Crash, but [member="Domino"] has done a solid job running Koensayr consistently ever since.
Yes, but what 'is' sufficient development or participation? There are no specific rules. Anywhere. And unless you tell me specifically what you're looking for, I'm not going to be able to adequately plan out a proper thread.
Corporation Name: Tenloss Corporation aka Tenloss Syndicate Headquarters: Bajic Sector Locations: Bajic Sector, The Wheel, Nar Shaddaa, Raxus Prime, Nal Hutta, Kessel, Centares, Belderone, Keskin, Sleheyron Operations
: Weapons, Armor, Ships Rationale: Over decades, Popo slowly bought stock in the Tenloss Corporation. Using false fronts, puppet companies, and bribed officials, Popo slowly gained a majority sharehold in the Corporation and its assets. He did so over roughly five or six decades, a blink in the eye of a Hutt, to minimize scrutiny and prevent the Corporation from spotting the surprise and hostile takeover in the works. Recently, now holding almost eighty percent of Corporation stocks
through minor businesses and false names, Popo transferred the ownership of those stocks to himself, again taking his time and using the utmost caution to prevent alerting Tenloss. The final process took roughly three years, but at the end Popo held the majority stock of the company under one name: His. Tenloss quickly found itself outdone and Popo soon found himself in the CEO's chair, figuratively speaking. Now, he uses the company to further his personal goals, under the cover of benefiting the Hutt Cartel as a whole. Tier: 3
Description: The Tenloss Corporation, also known as the Tenloss Syndicate, is a weapon, armor, and ship manufacturing company based out of the Bajic sector, specifically the Vergesso Asteroid Field. The actual Tenloss Corporation was really only the administrative section of the company, the core of the business being made up of multiple, smaller subsidiary companies. These include Modirin Mining Concern, Bahalian Shipyards, Bengel Shipbuilders, Friij News Services, Galindas Exports, Kendamari Casinos
, Lucin Syndicate, Lucross Collections, Malakin Enterprises, Natori Association, Ororo Transportation, and Relekin Confidential. The number of subsidized companies under Tenloss' control was what gave the company its real power and brought in a huge amount of revenue.
The Corporation's primary revenue was through weapon, armor, and ship development
, construction, and sales. Tenloss sold to anyone and everyone, though purchasing from the company was always a risk. Most weapons constructed by Tenloss were deemed illegal in many systems and thus carried hefty fines or even jail time. Such illegal weapons included, but were not limited to, the DX-2 Disruptor Pistol and the DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle.
Tenloss also built ships, mostly from licensed designs and mostly for civilian purchase. Materials were often cheaper than the original models and thus less reliable, but for companies or individuals looking to cut costs, the products were more cost effective than the full priced originals. One example of the Tenloss' original ship design was the Hornet-class interceptor. It was designed to compete directly with the TIE/LN Starfighter and performed well enough for it's design. The ship was light, fast, and easily mass produced, though suffered from a weaker hull than other starfighters. The weapons were more powerful than standard and could also be turbocharged, though only at the risk of overheating. Originally used only by the Corporation, the interceptor found usage slowly throughout the black market as they were often sold in shady business deals or given as payment for questionable jobs
.
Now, under Popo's rule, the Tenloss Corporation looks to expand and improve. Weapon smiths constantly seek new, innovative designs to build at the cheapest cost possible and then sell them at the highest profit manageable. Shipwrights design fresh ships to sell to the black market, at a premium of course, while armor manufacturers constantly look for the newest and toughest design to copy, manufacture, and sell at a discount to undermine the Corporation's competition
.
