Is there a specific sub-rule/template available for attack craft we could get as a future reference to use? Something like (using a modified ship template, changes in bold):
This is the template you should post for each ship, each round. The whole fleet should be enclosed in [ spoiler] [/ spoiler] brackets.
Squadron Name(s): ()
Class: (Hyperlink approved sub in name)
Shield/Hull: (Ships start with shields and hull equal to their
squadron count. Shields can recharge, hull cannot. A
squadron at 0 hull is destroyed.)
Armament/Defence: (For older ships without this estimate based on the new template)
Movement: (Which hex is it moving from and to?)
Firing At: (Who is the ship firing on? Name ship, hex coordinates and character.)
Squadron Name: Alpha Squadron
Class: TIE/sf Shield/Hull: 16/16
Armament/Defence: 10/8
Movement: 08.10 to 10.10
Firing At: Examplepewpew, 10.10, [member="Pierce Fortan III"]
I don't want to add too much additional work and confusion into the mix needlessly, but I think incorporating a squadron-by-squadron list - at least optionally, would allow for a more vibrant starfighter battle to occur, where squadrons are not confined to an individual hex but are independently and intelligently tasked. Selfishly, I mostly say this for the benefit of the First Order's starfighter corps, as we have multiple people gearing up to roll as squadron leaders. I would love for them to be able to dictate their own squadron's movements throughout their writing, as opposed to be writing strictly responses to which hex I dictate our attack craft will go. Although I can see where this could become a big headache for everybody else.
