Democracy Cometh (Dominion of Yadrid)

The force continue to radiate off of her towards the other jedi as she took another shallow breathe and held it before exhaling with the force flaring out again. The other jedi around her lending some energy to her to keep it up while paying attention to all the com traffic about what was going on. They had been spending plenty of time as needed listening as the search for whoever incited the attackers was hunted down and now it was coming to an end. The governor of the city was protected by the grandmaster and the others were working on the stunned or detained populace. "It is almost time to end this, we have been doing very well."

Blessed are the peacemakers
Roland froze, his eyes turning back to the shooter. He was clearly a Republic soldier of some kind, so he turned. The Republic rhetoric for incapacitating people was limited when there was a lethal weapon involved. He hadn't shot him in the leg, and he hadn't even fired a warning shot. The man was looking for a prisoner. Roland put his hands down to his waistline, staring down at the man. He literally had nothing but his pistol. And a few civilians. He turned and grabbed a young woman, placing her in front of him. He removed his pistol, holding it to her head. He backed up slowly, into the crowd of people, before releasing her for just a moment, and throwing another person in front of her, and creating a sort of cluster of confusion. He looked around, and then booked it to the exit.

Roland was fast, even faster without any gear. He was also extremely acrobatic, proving himself to be able to do feats that clearly an untrained person couldn't do, so it was obvious that Roland was not an ordinary shooter in a mall, this was a planned hit or an execution of some sorts. Roland was out of the mall and into the street, doing the same trick with the pistol as before, creating an even larger panic with the already panicked with several attacks within the last few hours. People began to scatter and run, with Roland moving through them like a train. Roland then, did a trick. He ditched the jacket, down to the black T-shirt. The trick would be to remove an immediate form of identification, and allow a chance to escape. A passerby's hat was quickly snatched and placed on his head. He tucked the pistol into his waistband, and effectively blended into the ongoing crowd.

Roland kept watch for the sniper, making sure the pesky soldier didn't come up. He hated killing Republic troopers on missions, but sometimes it was a necessity.

Noriko held the training saber as she swiped downwards and tripped one of the attackers but the saber wouldn't take his leg it just made him fall down while she crouched low and grabbed his using the restraints to get him up and to the side with a smile. "Please be safe and I am sorry for this. If you tell us who incited the riot and you to attack us we will work to let you go. We are not here to hurt you." Noriko looked up and around while she heard the news that they had disarmed several explosives and subdued all of the attackers with no deaths. They had succeeded in doing what was needed while still showing the Republic back on track.

"Well now ain't that a peach." Jessie looked up from his spot as he raised an eyebrow and sat some of the attackers down. The comlink spoke saying the attackers had settled down or all been subdued and he gave a nod of his head at that news. It was a good thing to say the least and for the moment he was just glad they didn't have to fight anymore. "Well now come on dearies lets all hold hands and sing kumbyya."

Knight moved on the speeder while her robes and hair billowed in the wind but it all served a purpose. She went around the city to pick up stragglers and make sure everyone there were taken care of. She observed the defenses that were being made. High walls with razor wire, turrets for anti infantry, anti air and anti armor setup within proximity so they could concentrate fire on approaching enemy forces. There were some of the security droids designed to alert for early warnings. Recon droids and on the walls some perches with turrets emplacements. Trenches built to herd enemy forces into kill zones and holes filled with some mines that were lightly being hidden. More defenses and armored support at the primary entrances, then she observed the wonderfully landed legions of Republic soldiers that were working on garrisoning in the city.

Orihime gave a nod of her head at the news they had secured the city and were now building defenses up. Her tea was finished and there was no more to pour. Her mother was thanking for the time done and she smiled enjoying the sight around them. Going outside she looked at the size of the city and all the Republic troopers who were now helping the people of Valan with their stuff. To get everything back to normal and to show why they were the better choice. Why Democracy was the better choice in this long battle for the planet.

Katagiri raised an eyebrow while she sat there in the transport and came to the hospital with a grin on her face. They had helped secure the city and now the bombs were disarmed while she looked around and at reports with the news from OMega and Republic soldiers. "Good we have worked to secure the explosives. Now dispose of them and or send them back to their makers. See that the sith get the gift. We won't let our friends be taken apart on our watch. Now to find my baby sister."

Chora nodded her head in agreement, an adventure sounded good and the assessment of the people of the world on how they wanted them to join the Republic. "Hopefully they will, with the ones who caused this hopefully captured and the ones who got incited detained peacefully. I am surprised to say the least, I almost expected some bloodshed but it is good to see that I am wrong. We will perhapos have to stay and see what happens with all of them."

Sir. The word sounded like something more suited to a military outing than a patrol of a landing zone by members of the Jedi Order and a senator. Still, now was neither the time nor place to instruct a Padawan on the proper way to speak to an elder member of the Order.

"Our task is simple. We're to provide aerial observation, and assist in the creation, and securing of a perimeter around the landing zone and the area around the blast zones. Any issues with that?"

He raised an eyebrow ever so slightly, as if daring the Jedi to test him in a near combat situation. If the student had thought him stern when confronted with Jedi espousing slander against the Council, he was certainly in for a treat when lives may be on the line...

"They have done well .. very well. To subdue a situation without the blood shed is the victory. However, I see not all have escape injury", he looked over to the triage units and saw Iella. Some one that had caused his 'death' to be turned up side down and set on a new path and although, at the start he had wanted this gone, he now found it a blessing. He could see Iella working with some young ones in aiding the injured and getting them the medical aid required. Then his head turned to another.

"Ah the Young One is in warrior mode", he smiled as he sensed Syn's presence in the field. Although he would never admit it, Arrol liked Syn, he liked the big burly fellow full of bravado, he also knew that he has the heart of the light, many do not see it, but for those that take the time to know him, find out.

Perfect! Iella thought. The Republic, for the moment had won the day as teams moved out to secure the hospitals. At that moment, her comlink beeped and a now familiar voice spoke. "Greetings Aronis, I am at the triage units .. find me .. we will go into the city and help at the hospitals where we are needed", she smiled toward Nico.

However, they must to diligent there is still the air of distrust about from the Valen and understandably so, they had yet to know of the Republic and the peoples within the fine government. And war had come to them, and Iella could sense the fear of it. "Remember we are here not only to represent the Jedi Order, but the Republic as well, we must show the Valen that we are here to help and mean them no harm, remember compassion and grace and we will do our best to calm them". she said. "Now lets go to a hospital and help the doctors".

Iella moved out of the triage unit tent and started toward the city proper.

Eldoc cringed as he felt his armor melt away to 4 shots from a pistol. Armor was Great but 4 shots, like that had to hit him. The first two were stopped by the armor underneath his robe. His Imperial Knight armor from so long ago. Damn it all he was going to have to repair it again, that wasn't cheap not that he was freelance. Eldoc let the pain wash over him. The Thing about Eldoc was that he was the Lord of Pain. His body was kept with at least one wound at all times, he did try to get some treated. He wasn't insane. He didn't want to depend on the force that much . Kark it thought.. he had gotten in on him though. It reminded him of the first time vellok plunged the lightsaber through his armor. Eldoc was mad now. But his attacker had ran. Coward. but here he was with Vexander. Eldoc threw the force at him. Using the the very real and new pain from two shots in his gut to keep himself together and to send the man flying. Eldoc than ran, using the force to increase his speed he chased after Roland. He was his. No one shot him and got away with it. The pain flooded him, as he embraced it and used it to keep going. He was no normal man. No, he was Eldoc Lord of Pain. He needed to make this quick though. As he didn't want to get swarmed by republic troops.

"Yes, Master." Aronis replied.

He quickly ducked in an alleyway to cut across and take the backroads to avoid traffic and the Valen. He arrived safely at the outskirts of the city a short time later. Looking across the field he saw Iella and hurried over to join her.

"I'm here, Master." He said as he approached them.

"None at all." The words were kept polite and simple. He might have joined the Army of Light, but that didn't mean that he would always long for a fight. He preferred more discreet manners of warfare when it came to taking down his enemy, and despite what some might believe, his allegiance did not make him a cold hearted killer who was in it for a fight. He wanted to save lives, and if that meant aerial surveillance then he would keep watch until told to do otherwise. In truth, Vulpesen was waiting to see what this man was like when he wasn't letting his frustration get the best of him

As for the word "sir", Vulpesen was well aware of the standard protocol. He would call him master when he believed he showed the actions of a master. Vulpesen was not one to refuse the council and he would show the respect this man deserved through his title, but sadly, Vulpesen put little stock into names. He preferred deeds and actions. They didn't have to be the work of a warrior, but he did want someone of this man's stature to show the understanding and inner peace that a Jedi master should. Only time and respectable action would show Vulpesen that he could show the respect that @[member="Carn Dista"] wanted, and only then would he call him Master.

@Vulpesen @Yusan Fenn @Carn Dista

It wasn't hard to sense the underline tension brewing between Master Dista and Padawan Vulpesen. Cambria just sighed. This was not the time nor place to have it. Hopefully this would not be a persistent problem through out their mission here. There was too much at stake to have squabbles whether personal and/or philosophical in nature. They were Jedi first, representing the Republic here, and they needed to work as a team.

As the others boarded the hovering dropship, the Twi'lek Knight watched their backs, then jumped lithely up onto the cargo deck dressed in her battle robes. The blue-skinned Guardian grabbed ahold of one of the safety straps hanging down from the ceiling, then her golden gaze went to the rugged-looking Jedi Master standing there.

"No issues on my end, Master Dista. Do we know as of yet if we are dealing with a lone terrorist or a specific group?"

Vexander was caught by surprise, he didn't pull the trigger due to the great amount of people being put in the way, the young man placed his sniper in his back and was about to run at what the young man inmediately labeled as an enemy. However, the following action by the man shot impressed the young man the most: he was Force pushed away... the Padawan was skilled in telekinesis, and had a clear idea to prevent those attacks... under normal circumstances... the attack sent him flying away against one of the columns in the mall.

The pain inflicted crossed his whole back, and went all the way to his neck and head. His Master was right, he couldn't engage that specific target on his own... the first one didn't seem like a huge threat other than the possible collateral damage that could be inflicted, however the first one commanded the Force and was definetely not among the Jedi team that came with the Republic.

Taking his comm link out, he reached at his Master, @[member="Syn"] : "Master..." the voice of Vex was cutting in and out due to the heavy gasping, still trying to regain his air "...Vex here... I have two possible suspects running..." slowly he began to use the Force to heal quickly while he stood up "...sending my coordinates to your datapad now." The young man punched one command and sent the information.

Using the Force to increase his speed, he began to chase the two sentients... still with the comm link open, he provided details about the matter "First suspect is a male, black and white hair, caucasican with normal attire and a jacket on. Second suspect is a Force sensitive being, wounded, dark brown hair and green eyes... also dressed in normal attire."

Vexander saw how several sentients were placed in the middle of the way... howewer, such inconvinience wouldn't be a problem for a Jedi... but the two sentients already had a start due to the Force Push and the recovering time he took. Still, he used all his skills and training to chase them and he hoped to catch them with the reinforcements he expected to receive.

She smiled as Aronis approached. They would do they can to help the situation and aid. "Once this city is secured, we will prepare to move out, this is only the beginning and with more areas to investigate over this next weeks, concentrate yourselves on your duty and remember our duty is to the peoples of Valen", she said as they walked to do just that.

@[member="Iella E`ron"]

Aronis nodded, acknowledging her statement. They entered the city, headed for the hospitals to provide whatever aid was needed. He looked around the city, the citizens mostly seemed frightened as Republic Troopers ran to and fro on various assignments and missions. A few of the Valen seemed angry, as if they thought this was the Republics fault. Which wasn't that outlandish of a thought, our coming here had caused the chaos, but we certainly didn't intend for such things to happen. We approached the nearest hospital, where wounded civilians and victims were being brought in.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Roland watched from a bench as the sniper passed by, at an increased speed than he knew that any human would be capable of. His newfound attire was helping him, obviously. The hat concealed his hair, and he doubted that the sniper could get a good look at his face in the brief few seconds that he had to get an entirely good view of him. He stood up, smiling at something. They were idiots. Good, hard-working and loyal to the Republic idiots, but idiots. Roland was a man that did what he needed to do to get the job done. If he needed to break a girl's arm and maybe shatter a few innocent bystander's ribs, he'd do it. But, he had to skivvy fast, because it was only a matter of time before someone a lot smarter and with a lot more force ability showed up. He wanted this to go off cleaner, but there was always a risky chance for these things to get quite messy in a manner of seconds.

Roland stood up after a moment, and glared at a passing Republic aid worker. He looked to be just checking bodies, or IDing them. Nothing radically important. Roland found him to be alone, left alone by his peers, doing more important work. Roland stood by him, and then employed a 'drag and bag' maneuver, in which he dragged him away whilst choking him out. He dragged him behind a dumpster, and threw him in it after a moment. Roland hopped in, shortly after. Thanks to Roland's average size and build, the clothes fit him in a way that made him seem normal. He peeked out of the dumpster for a moment, leaving the man and his older clothes in with him. However, he took his pistol to make sure that he could still function if things went totally awry. He blended in with the Republic aid crowd, and eventually began to make his way to his intended EXFIL. He pulled the helmet down low to make sure that nobody would catch a glimpse of his hair, but Roland had tailored his look to the standard military man, to help him blend in with certain crowds. He hated crowds, and he was slightly unnerved by standing in them as he made his way to his EXFIL point, a cargo ship that he had chartered some time ago.

Kiyron inspected the trenches in his squad's sector. They were complete. He nodded. "All right squad, pack it up." He collapsed the entrenching tool and hooked it to his pack of equipment. The others did so as well. He tapped the comm to report to his superior. "Wildcard Squad Beta completed assigned sector. Repositioning to North side to continue." He clicked it off, and scrutinized the terrain out beyond the city. It looked like there were a few places he could make some sniper nests and supply caches. He chewed on his lip. Three rings at increasing distance from each other, maybe? It'd certainly help in some guerilla ops to slow any incoming forces down. He shrugged it away for the moment, and turned to look at the city. There was room for sniper positions there. Not many. Hopefully enough though. He gave a slight shake of his head, and turned back to the squad.
"Form up! Patrol, double time!" They formed up behind him and set off jogging along the outside of the perimeter, spread about 10 meters apart, and covering all angles.
