Democracy Cometh (Dominion of Yadrid)

The first sentient that shot the Force user couldn't even be seen. No one matching the first description he saw could be seen, he was definetely someone that could blend in with the crowd... and with the current amount of people running and being placed in the way... he did a good job...

Under normal circumstances, the young man could have follow the man, but he also had another target to follow: the Force Sensitive, in fact, a Force sensitive shot and that didn't want any help, that instead decided to attack a Jedi and run was as suspicious as the first man. The young Padawan decided to go with the consolation prize.

The Force speed used by the man was amazing, he was definetely someone really trained and with abilities that exceeded his own, even with his wound... the Jedi needed some backup "Team Nexu, this is Vexander Graves following a suspicious sentient with above average Force abilities. Requesting backup"

Once that he said such words, he thought that perhaps he could catch him on his own... should he? His Master told him not to... anyway, he already reported the incident twice, it was too late to try his normal way to deal about things.

Kiyron and his squad slowed to a halt, breathing lightly from the run. He gestured to the land in front of them, "Fall out, standard entrenching procedure!" The squad fell out and began digging, their tools biting the dirt with each stab into the ground. Kiyron took a long breath, and dug another, wiping sweat from is forehead. There should probably be an easier way to dig trenches. Like a big trenching machine or something. Granted, it wouldn't be anywhere near as fast to deploy as infantry. It would be nice though. Until then, however, he'd just have to keep on digging.

@Roland @Vexander Graves
Eldoc watched as the man went about his business and laughed as he sent the force at him. Pushing him against the dumpster. " Now, You know I don't like it when punks shoot me and run away. " He extended his green lightsaber and glared down the man who was stuck against the dumpster. " Can't run away now can you." He said glaring at the man. He forgot about the padawan who was surely behind him at this point. He took his saber and moved it towards Roland. He was going to make him pay.

Kiyron's comms beeped. He tapped it to answer, "Kiyron speaking." Hardly military protocol, but hey, it got the point across. Kelchase wasn't known for its formality, and old habits died hard. He grimaced at that thought. Hopefully it would be harder for him to die than old habits. He focused back on the comm.
"Wildcard Squad, you're being reassigned to Hamtin. A speeder awaits you at the LZ. Report in one hour." Kiyron gave a curt nod, then remembered they wouldn't see that.
"Roger, wilco." He turned to the squad. "Pack up. Engineers will take over, likely. We're being reassigned to Hamtin." They nodded, and packed up their tools. "Double time, patrol formation." They formed off and started jogging around the city. Again. After barely even starting the trenches. That's army life, though.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Roland slammed against the dumpster, being caught off guard. So he was a force user after all. He smiled up at him, waiting until he got close. Pistol had a few rounds left. Good. Lightsabers couldn't deflect everything, sure. Especially, if they were fired at rapid. He dropped back, employing the 'lay back and fire upwards' technique, something that you employed when you wanted to look wounded. Rounds sped towards Eldoc, slugs rather than bolts. It would be very difficult for Eldoc to deflect again, a mass number of rounds coming at him in such a fashion. Roland didn't aim for his chest, he aimed all over to force Eldoc to protect his vital organs and instead take a wound rather than dying. Eldoc also had the nasty surprise of the Padawan with a problem coming up behind him. Roland got up after shooting, booking it towards his EXFIL with the intent of getting the hell out of there.

In the distance, the young man could see the brief battle between the two sentients from the mall... the situation was not clear and Vex had to take both as enemies until proven otherwise... however, he had to time the situation properly. Backup was late and he couldn't allow both of them to escape until they were taken into custody and questioned about the incident.

A quick evaluation with his observations skills learned due to his sniper training allowed him to assest the situation. Regarless of the wounds sustained by the Force Sensitive by the slug shots, he was a bigger threat due to his connection to the Force... he took several shots before and he was able to almost outrun the Padawan, he might be stronger than Vex in several ways and had to take his chance now... however... the other man with the slugthrower, he would be a threat regardless of the use of his saber.

Taking the momentum generated by the Force Speed, Vex landed first in the lightsaber wielder catching him by surprise with a kick aimed at his chest; with a quick move, Vex ignited his own lightsaber and performed a quick slash at the hand holding the green blade... although the wound wouldn't be lethal since it was a training lightsaber, it would burn and most likely numb his hand forcing him to drop the hilt...

The other man was at that moment running towards what seemed to be a ship, and Vex saw that as a chance to also bring him down. Extending his left hand at him while holding his saber with the right, he reached at the Force and used his telekinesis at one of the ankles of the man, once he was caught, he Force Pulled him away from the ship instantly dropping him to the ground and dragging him a few meters back.

Once that he knew that at least they were both in the ground, Vex shouted at both with his guard up "Both of you do not move! Or I'll forget the Jedi Code for a moment" said in an aggresive way... not really meaning to, it was more a threat rather than a promise... still, he had to let them know he meant business. Quickly reaching at his comm, he called a third time for backup "To any Republic officer close to my current coordinates, I have two hostiles, need back up to bring them in!"

(OOC: Hope you both do not mind the awesome entrance to the battle,

Eldoc was too focused forcing the gun away from him so that none of the shots hit him. Before suddenly he was on the ground. It was crap luck, that damn boy. " Afraid to face me yourself? Why aren't you saving those helpless people in the hospitals, surely they are more important than me. But alas, how about you join me? you seem to be abandoned by your jedi master, like I was once. Funny how they say such nice things, and then the moment you go off with them, you get left all by your self. " He said getting up, and picking up his light saber. " Join me, think of all the fun things you can learn when you don't limit yourself to the light side. " He laughed as he sent @[member="Roland"] flying into his space craft. He shook out his hand, as he stared down the padawan. " Now join me or face the consequences, I won't take it easy on you." he said, wondering if the boy really was that stupid. To take him on. He had already hurt enough people with his explosives, but the words of his master rang in him about the cost of a cause. His cause was to try to show the world just how horrible the jedi were, which seemed to have failed horribly. He would have to try better next time. He prepared his stance, waiting for the padawan to make the first move. He also watched for the boy wonder to try something stupid from his ship again.

After the hospitals had been secured and all explosives removed, the Galactic Republic Medical Unit, moved all the injured under their care into the hospitals around the city. The Medical Units, packed and moved out back to the transports for the next phase of the mission. Iella stood with her Padawans now and prepared to move out. They would be taking transports and speeders onward to Hamtin.

"Now we go and find out what our orders will be", she said as she walked back toward the transports. Moving at a pace to locate the others, she senses Syn through their force bond, a wash of relief enters her body as he is well. She see him now and walks toward him, a slight smile on her face for a moment before she places her face back to neutral. "Master, what are your orders?, ... ", she looks around, "And where is Padawan Graves?", she notices his absence.

The man quickly attempted to attack Vex's morale and his own ideals by placing seeds of distrust as his Master and his peers... who never showed up regardless of the signs of backup he requested. He couldn't deny that the lack of reply at the messages sent to the whole Nexu team and to other Republic Officers was disturbing and upsetting, however he didn't actually felt that he could just disregard what he believed in just because of that.

Vexander was not in any position to question the orders of the rest of the Republic officers and Jedi, the threat against the Hospitals was widely transmited across channels and many had to be evacuating the buildings... each one of them had a job... on the other hand, others were tasked with the defense and fortification of the city, there had to be patrols... perhaps they were arresting the locals who were attacking them?

Needless to say... the taunt was quite blunt and easy to perceive, the last sentence snapped Vex out of his thoughts due to the nature of it: "join him or face the consequences..."; that simple term was more than a taunt, was a threat... how could he actually expect the Padawan to join him if he was threatening? Out of fear?

The young man was not sure if he could actually take on a Force Sensitive being... his presence was strong in the Force, but he was wounded, that had to be worth a chance.

Vexander was not a man of many words, instead; he was always focused in observation and taking chances. But perhaps he had to make an exception "You underestimate me..." the young man placed his lightsaber in his front in a vertical way and then moved it to his right extending it and leaving his chest open "...due to your actions you have been labeled as an enemy of the Republic and you are wounded... I suggest that you surrender while you have the chance." Looking at the man closely, watching weakpoints and even the wound in his hand inflicted by him, Vex proceeded to circle the man slowly and alerted... he was tempted to attack, but he was unarmed and there was the chance that he would surrender... but could he really take a chance?

A sniper had to be patient and wait for the right moment, could a fight with a Force user be any different? he remembered his training and the sparring matches... but this was different, he had his life at risk to another different level... he couldn't hold back... he wouldn't hold back. Knowing that his lightsaber wouldn't kill him, but that he would be subdued, the young man launched himself with the help of the Force when he saw that the opponent was relentless in his resolve and that he didn't even considered the offer to surrender. With a quick slash, Vex aimed at the legs of the sentient hoping to throw him on the ground.

Kiyron heard the broadcast from @[member="Vexander Graves"]. He checked the chrono. Plenty of time. He tapped the comm. "Padawan Graves, this is Wildcard Squad two. We're coming to assist." He traced the signal and turned to his squad. "Change of objective. Need to capture a hostile Force user." The squad members gave a tight nod. Kiyron figured their expressions matched his. Few things were worse than facing a Force user. Almost a guaranteed way of to suffer heavy casualties. They'd already lost so many comrades. None wanted to lose any more. There wasn't much choice though, was there? Duty called, and they had to answer.
They hurried into the city, weaving in through the streets, weapons held ready, but not up. Kiyron gestured for them to stop as they approached it. Probably best to form a angle of fire as wide as possible while avoiding crossfire. No need for friendly fire. He scanned the buildings. Where was a tall one he could use?

Eldoc welcomed the pain. If it hadn't been for the training from Velok he would be on the ground dying. But well here he was still fighting. " I am an enemy of the republic... I was walking in the mall minding my own business when that idiot shot me. He just walked up and shot me. So if defending myself makes me an enemy of your republic than so be it. " He said as he jumped using the force to avoid the hit. Eldoc came down from behind Vex swinging downward for his head with the lightsaber. It would cut the man in half if it went unheeded. Eldoc needed to end this and get out of here. He had too many wounds to hold off more than an apprentice. So after he came down, he would jump backward with the force to stop any counter if he dodged his move.

The man, although wounded, managed to use his mastery in the Force to actually avoid the attack with extreme dexterity. While he attempted a jump above the Padawan, he complained about how he was using self defense and how unfair it was to be labeled as a enemy of the Republic. However, for the time being, Vexander didn't reply to them since the Force Sensitive attempted an attack at the Padawan from above... a deadly strike... however, Vex relied on the Force to assist him and guide his hands... placing the saber in the way, he used it to subtly deflect the blow to his left while he propelled his whole body to the right dodging the attack, almost inmediately, he cleared the area preventing a counter attack by swinging his lightsaber at the landing spot that the man was about to touch.

Opening his eyes, even more surprised than before at the skills and endurance of his opponent, the corellian managed to see how he jumped back with the Force dodging Vex's attack completely. Witnessing the skills of the man and feeling respect at his greater training, the young man smirked briefly, but his demeanor changed when addressing once again at the man.

"Resisting arrest... attacking a Republic envoy... attempted murder... Resisting arrest again..." the young man placed his lightsaber in front again and prepared himself for any move from the enemy "...you have a lot of charges if you ask me..." the corellian padawan subtly reached with the Force at his surroundings and attempted to feel the movement of the wildcards on route... they were nearby but not in position yet, he had to stall the man until he could be captured... but he had to be captured, no human being or sentient could be sentenced to death in the spot when there is no chance to escape.

Knowing that the Wildcards were a special commando team, he had to make sure that they would follow the outlined plan... whispering at his comm, he proceeded to acknowledge the squad and confirm the current objective "The target is heavily wounded and needs to be taken into custody... no kill shots, repeat, no kill shots..."

Vexander's gaze was always on the man, analysing every move and current through the Force... he had a good advantage and knew that he could take him in... he just needed to work hard on the matter. "Once again, surrender... and you'll live" Vex remained ready and didnt't attempt any other attack... he just remained still but with all his senses in "red alert" at the Force user's moves.

Eldoc felt people watching. It was not going to end well. "How about you call off your croney's and we fight this man to man. winner gets to walk free. I mean why not? It isn't like you have anything to lose, I am wounded already." He said studying the man. He smirked and that was when it happened. Eldoc screamed, it was an force scream. It was as if he was using the force to let the world see the inner Eldoc. All of him went into it as he wracked anyone near by with both a physical pain, and a mental assult. It was a force scream at will and it would have a devistating effect. He let the world hear the very inner parts of what eldoc was. He opened himself to the world and screamed. To those unsuspecting it could be deadly. In fact if there were any civilians near by they most likely dropped to the ground in agony and if sustained they would die. Eldoc watched for an opening, for the man to cover his hears and then he was his. He would run towards him and strike, an attempt to cut off an limb, so that he could escape and the boy would learn.

@[member="Vexander Graves"]

For a moment, Vex heard the condition of the man; at the moment, such move didn't actually made any sense... the corellian padawan had him wounded and still he was holding his own, a fight man to man wouldn't be productive for the apprentice since he had more experience in the Force, and wounds didn't matter in that field... at least not most of the time.

After a small smirk easily visible due to the fixed gaze at the opponent, the unexpected happened: the enemy unleashed a powerful scream that was increased through the Force. In a blink of an eye, the ground trembled... the air around the place began to shake it's molecules and the Force around him began to flow in an unexpected way... a dark way.

The scream amplified by the darkside of the Force went all the way to Vex's brain cells and attempted to get in his own skin... the power was designed to damage and paralize his neural system, to stun him with a form of unbearable torture, to make him lose his sanity.

The young man was caught by surprise, there was little he could do against a power of this magnitude... it was clearly superior and above his level... there was little he could do. The first instinct he had was to cover his hears... ease the pain and the sound waves infused with the darkside... but he couldn't do that at the moment, instead, with the help of the Force, Vex created a barrier with Force energy that would mitigate the attack... but, no power Vexander could muster would stop it.

Holding his lightsaber with his right hand in the upper part of the body while covering his right ear with the upper part of the arm, he used the left to completely cover his left ear... hoping to be ready to use his lightsaber if the man attempted any move at all.

Kiyron and his team staggered as the scream slammed their ears. What Sith sorcery was this? They half-fell as pain shot through them. Kiyron gritted his teeth and heaved himself to his feet as a strange flowing occurred in his ears. Bleeding apparently. Apparently they'd need to have a talk with whoever built this armor about fixing the sound filters. He lifted his sniper rifle, sweat dripping into his eyes with the intensity. By the sound, it must have originated on the other side of the corner. He took a few more steps, trying to ignore the lightning racing through limbs. That was a problem from spending weeks alone, ears pricked for anything dangerous. They got more sensitive to noise. Barely audible noises became easily heard. Normal noises became loud. Loud noises became painful. Painful noises became...well, this. Potentially fatal. He gave a gesture to his squad and they dragged themselves forward.
"Sorry, Padawan Graves. Couldn't...hear...last part," His knees buckled again, the noise pounding him to the ground like a dozen asteroids. "Get..out..of fire line." He groped for his pistol. There it was. One shot with a sniper. Hopefully his squad would survive. He dropped to a kneeling position, bending forward at the stomach.
He gestured to the squad. "Count-" He coughed. "Three. Fill it...fire." Talking was too much effort now, and darkness was clouding around. He raised one finger. Then two. Then three. He propelled himself forward, falling, and raised the sniper rifle to his shoulder. It'd probably get dislocated. He forced a smile. Million credits say I live. Not like he'd ever pay that assuming he lived. Or spend it if he did. But he a debt to pay, and if this was it, so be it. His squad followed close behind sticking as close to cover as they could, and opened fire. Kiyron pointed it towards the Force user who was screaming, and he could at least tell it was Vexander. He pulled the trigger, seeing stars as the recoil slammed his shoulder from its socket. He was already reaching for the pistol as the world faded from view. I should get a medal for this...

He screamed as he ran, and then he was hit, and pain flooded through him. Something had pierced his armor. It hurt and more importantly needed his attention. His run fell into a fall and made his aim for vex, fall very far below his intended target of his arm. instead his saber arched towards vex's feet as eldoc fell to the ground from the impact of a sniper round to the back. He needed to get away, He used all of his power, and pain to keep himself from bleeding out. The new wound, was too much, he shouldn't be able to move much less walk away but that is what eldoc did, He walked away from it all. He might of hit Vex with his saber and cut off something on his leg he might not of. It was all a blur as he stumbled away. Holding on to his life force with the force. Damn pubs. They had hit him hard. He was going to actually need to get healed. he needed medical attention, and well he wasn't sure where to get it. He needed help. He also didn't want to be arrested. Damn the pubs to hell he though as he slowly walked away from the fallen people. He needed to ditch the armor and saber and pretend to be something else.

Kiyron just lay there, trying to translate the images he was seeing in front of him. Two people? Three people? He couldn't tell. Had one just melted? The images swam and wavered. Oh well. He didn't even think he could manage to pull the trigger without hitting a friendly, so he just lay there, watching the bricks dance and pirouette among each other. Quite good dancers, bricks are, he mused, before realizing his NCO was yelling at him. No idea what about. He couldn't hear anything anymore. He gave a vague, blank eyed smile and a slight twitch of his fingers. Then something stabbed him and he spasmed as it spread across the numbness. Confounded field medics and their injectors. Hopefully they'd managed to get the dark sider.

The city was secure! The injured were being taken care of at the local hospitals, now that theynwere secure and the threat of bombs had passed. Yadrid was now safe and the mission a success. Now they would move onward to Hamtin and secure that city as well. Aronis followed Iella towards the transports as they prepared to move out.

Among the blurry images and the unbearable sound... Vexander couldn't actually notice what was going on... however, a few lights around the place could be seen and within a couple of seconds, the huge scream just dissappeared. When Vex opened his eyes he could see his opponent falling to the floor with several blaster shoots in his body from an unknown source, it seemed that the backup had arrived. But for the padawan it was actually too late...

The green blade of the lightsaber, that belonged to the now confirmed darksider; passed in front of him. For his surprise, it was not aimed at his upper part like he expected, in fact; the green blade fell to the ground leaving a smell of burned flesh as it fell down and it deactivated itself... at that moment is when Vex noticed it, he lost balance in his left side and felt a deep pain in his ankle, like if it was burning... the blade cut through his foot.

With a big scream of pain, the young man feel to the floor landing in his right shoulder... he was trained in Force Techniques that would diminish any pain inflicted by a wound, and in some cases even heal the wound... but at this moment, the pain was too intense to even think about reaching out at the Force.

His tenure in the ways of the Force and the type of wound were a big factor that affected his judgement, his mind was starting to disconnect the neural links in the area along the leg to ease the pain a bit... but even with those natural defense mechanism that the neuro system had, the young man couldn't help but to lose all connection to the physical world... and within just a moment, it happened... he fell unconscious.
