Divided We Fall [Open to all but One Sith and their Allies]

Saran was silent in the back, simply here for now. She was here on behalf of the Galactic Liberation Conclave, although some had suggested she shouldn't travel due to her recent injuries in saveing another member of the group. But she had insisted. She didn't know why. Maybe she needed to be here to prove to herself she had a reason to stand again. To be a part of Ashla's will. But, in the end, she knew it wasn't her place. She had become something else. Not Jedi, not Sith, but something in between. Still, as she sat behind the republic group, she felt something wash over her as [member="Kiskla Grayson"] spoke her name. Saran had known her. The one master whom she had met for any amount of contact with. And one she didn't want to answer too. Fear swept over her for a moment as she forced herself to look around the room. The G.L.C. had been amassing resources, and from what she could tell, preparing for war. There was talk of trying to buy out the shipyards she had fought for above Dac to build a fleet. But that would be later. Some other time, perhaps. When she didn't have to worry about her past.

She was here to represent a group working on building up it's ability to help. And she was, for now, alone as she waited.

The droid would gave a slight bow from his position towards his companion at arms, Kerrigan, he thought he could pick her up at Kaeshana and they could arrive together, but seems that she preferred to arrive in her own space-craft. Pft, fine.

The machine would turn his attention towards the Republicans and Yusan, who seemed to have a bit of scrapes between each other, that was part of the reason why the droid never got much into internal politics, well except the dictatorship he run on Abregado, but soon enough that would be replaced with good old democracy, he had better things to do nowadays.

"Hrm."

He only grumbled at the display the politicians put up, ignoring it otherwise.

There was [member="Moira Skaldi"] in disguise via hologram, she was pretty sly and sneaky, like a fox. Also HK was her uncle, so there was that.

In his brief scan of the audience he did notice that [member="Callisto Scarlett"], one of the politician's body guard it seems. He picked up something about her that seemed a bit off, however there was no time to mimic the politicians and hound fellow members of the conference, so droid managed to only mutter out,

"Is that Alli Wren?"

Before his attention, and heart, was stolen away by Rose, surely he would love her forever.

"Supreme Chancellor, Lord Protector. As leaders of the two nations that have spearheaded this fight, can you or your representatives tell us what we have learnt about the in these battles?"

The droid turned to Rosa at that, speaking up,

"If it pleases Lord Protector and you, Madame Rosa, as Cater's representative Exarch in person, and a veteran of many wars against the Sith, I have prepared a holo-video presentation of the battle analysis I have gathered."

Mrrew stayed silent as he watched the various impressive figures enter the meeting area. He was extremely suprised to see how many had come... He knew how many enemies the Sith had made, and he expected many people to come, but... The Manda'lor? The Grand Chancelor? The Lord Protector? There was a lot of enemies of the One Sith, in one place. If the Sith found out about this meeting... oen well placed bomb could be very helpful in elminating threats to the Sith. Mrrew only hoped that this area was well defended.

The Togorian nodded respectfully to all the important figures that stepped in, but otherwise stayed quiet. He was completely and utterly out of his league. He led, and only temporairly, a small Rebel faction, and that's what he expected to see... small groups of invidiviuals against the Sith. But entire massive factions? The Grand Chancelor? Hm. Whatever this meeting entailed, it would certainly be useful to the enemies of the One Sith. Prehaps even forge alliances. If they don't start bickering amongst themselves, that is...

The large man wearing heavy skins common to people of Midwinter walked in and joined his companions of the sanctum. His sharp eyes took in to crowd at a glance and then sat calmly folding his heavy hands over his abdomen. He was not invited but he had gotten word from a Red friend that they would be meeting. Had he been told sooner he would have been on time. He smiled at Kal who shook his head and looked back to the group.

He decided to introduce himself before anyone asked or demanded his purpose.

"Buliwyf Jarhulda of midvinter." He said in his slow deliberate accent, "Friend of the Sanctum."

Coric set aside his datapad as more individuals entered the conference room. Glancing around he reserved judgement on everyone, they were here to stop the One Sith, not give over inflated opinions about one another. Ironically Coric was the only person here who could care less about whether the Republic or any other faction would fall. No he was here to meet some influential people and offer his services for a price, plain and simple.

Finally as the presenter started the summit, Coric frowned. The only thing anyone had learned was that Republic and Protectorate where not equipped or ready to fight the One Sith. The Republic would fall, however the Protectorate likely with proper planning could save itself. Coric however quickly spoke up, addressing [member="Rosa Gunn"]. "We've learned only that the greater governments of the galaxy are unprepared to face the threat that is the One Sith. We do know that with the loss of Alderaan, the One Sith stand to completely surround Anaxes and cut off the supply lines of the Republic. The question now is what can we do together to stop them?" Coric said plainly, fingers tented in front of him.

HK would stand up from his seat, looking to [member="Coric Adromak"] as he spoke,

"Actually, we know more than that, and please, I have to ask you, as well as others."

He would scan over those gathered,

"To speak when given the floor, least this conference descend to chaos and nothing gets done."

The droid would reach to one of his pouches, taking out a holo-projector,

"Some of you know me, especially those who dealt with the Protectorate, I am an ancient droid called HK-36, the first Iron Knight, before the Shards were discovered. I used to serve the Mandalorians to hunt Jedi during Mandalorian Crusades, and then the Jedi to hunt the Sith, that and teaching lightsaber arts has been my profession ever since."

The machine would set the holo-projector in the middle of the table as he begun to pace the room around the table.

"This time things are different, there is a greater degree of communication around the Galaxy, a boom of new technology since the Gulag Plague and rebuilding the lost planets, this time we do not face Sith by themselves, they have an alliance of their own."

He would turn on the holo-projector via built-in communications and the device would show the Battle of Eriadu when the Protectorate forces repelled Fringe Invasion. The hologram was shown from the droid's perspective, it showed an army of Vong, and great artillery beasts they have brought onto the planet,

"The Vong have returned, and their presence is gathering in strength. What you see is their army which I encountered defending Eriadu with the Protectorate, they were mercenaries, members of the Horde. Since the dissolution of the faction they have moved their resources to the One Sith, their remnants are helping the Dark Siders now, and with that, the Sith have received their equipment."

The droid would motion with his saber towards the Vong position, the sound muted to not take focus away from the images or the droid's speech as there were flashes of light seen and rockets from behind the droid's perspective flew at the Vong, large clouds of gas would be seen erupting from them around the Vong, the droid's vision on film would switch to infrared vision, showing the heat signatures of the Vong.

As they started to collapse the signatures would begin to die out, large explosions of blood and heat could be seen around the beasts as barrages of mass-drivers would kill off their life force as well.

"On the surface of Eriadu the Vong forces were wiped out, while my goal was to take them prisoner, their systems have had critical reaction to Protectorate's knockout-gas, it is lethal to them and their suits of Crab Armor did not offer protection against them, they were defenseless. Ever since then I included barrage of knock-out gas as part of my tactics when facing the Vong, they failed to adjust to it yet."

The droid would switch the hologram to recording from Battle of Coruscant,

"Coruscant, Valley of the Lords, I was sent as part of deep insertion recon team, I holed up in one of the buildings and served as sniper support, this was one of my targets,"

On the screen shown would be Hal Terrano, talking to some Mandalorian, her gun ready, he did not had saber in his hand, Gil may recognize her as Mia, but her back was to the droid's vision,

"As you can see, it is a Pure Blood Sith, red face visible, lightsaber at his side, however, he is wearing Vonduum Crab Armor, throught the battle his armor was able to mitigate damage from Force power support of a cryomancer ally at had at my side and seemingly a scattergun the Mandalorian in this scene is holding."

The droid's vision in the hologram would shake and the Sith's armor would be seen exploding with crab fragments and blood, as the vision slowed for others to have better view it would show his armor cracked and splintered around the man's bloody hip.

"It did not stop a shot from a railgun I wielded, one of the products manufactured by my subordinates, based on Verpine designs."

He would switch the hologram once more, this time showing another Pure Blood Sith holding an amphistaff,

"One Sith attack on Fondor, the beginning of their rise, the Sith in this picture I dueled myself,"

The droid's vision would come closer to the Sith as he begun to swing at him with his white-blade lightsaber the two engaging in a duel as the droid raised a bolt gun with his other hand, smoke erupting around them,

"He was able to escape but that marked the point where I begun to prepare to face the Sith clad in Vong equipment, I would later face the being known as Darth Apparatus with Mistress Blake, and witness his demise. The Sith I fought has claimed to be Sith'ari, although frankly, he seemed quite delusional."

HK would look to others gathered then,

"The point stands that the Sith have friends now, the Vong, and their forces are only gathering, we must be prepared to face them in combat, the means to do so I can discuss later on after my presentation. Any questions or can I move to my second point?"

He looked to others for anybody who wanted to ask something.

"Just raise your hand, do not be shy, I have no mouth to bite."

The droid quipped.

Olivia had planned to remain silent and only listen to what took place here today, but the obvious idiocy was beyond her capacity to endure. Olivia rolled her eyes in response to the concerns of [member="Coric Adromak"]. "The Republic has survived the loss of its capital once already, it will do so again. Were it an actual concern of the Chancelor, they would simply relocate their capital to a system further away from the Sith." She said as if speaking to a child. "Even if the Republic was so militarily incompetent as to lose every single engagement with the Sith, they could avoid facing that particular danger by simply making their leadership and key resources mobile. Move them once or twice a month and the loss of any single location will never jeopardize the strength of the union as a whole."

Finishing her lecture to the Mercenary, Olivia leaned back into her chair and returned to her silence. Her head rested against the high back of the chair and her eyes stared at the ceiling. She already regretted attending this meeting in person. She should of just sent an Lieutenant or listened in via holonet. Hazmana, she'd almost rather have sent her idiot brother than come here herself.

In his pace around the room he stopped by Olivia's chair as she retorted back to Coric for his comment,

"Please withhold unnecessary comments which can create unnecessary tensions. Let us keep this professional."

He would lean in slightly, over her back rest,

"Thank you."

And he would continue to pace slowly, looking to Rosa for confirmation of the request and anybody who had questions or concerns about the subject at hand.

Olivia looked up at the droid leaning over the back of her chair. Her soft, organic eyes gazed into his cold, glasteel imagers for a moment of frozen silence before the droid turned and walked away. She turned her head and watched him go, her eyes tracking him as he took precise, 0.48 meter steps in a perfectly circular path around the table.

Olivia remained silent, but eyed the droid as it walked away with both mild curiosity and indifference showing in her eyes. watching the seemingly sentient machine, Olivia contemplated the merits and methodology of torturing a droid. Perhaps something akin to shock therapy?

A bemused smirk played across her face briefly as she watched the droid continue to circle the table. She'd have to do some research on the matter. High priority droids and digital AI could be just as much of a threat as any brilliant general or powerful force user. There was no reason for her to not be prepared to counter and then interrogate such individuals.

Roth frowned. Vong were back. That made things even more dangerous. The Jensaarai records still held data from the first Yuzhon Vong war and how brutally efficient they were. Both Jedi and Jensaarai often struggled to defeat them, and paid a fairly heavy price for it. Them working with the Sith? That made things even worse. Nothing like combining the two most dangerous enemies into one force. They would handle it though. He raised his hand to ask [member="HK-36"] a question, "Do we have much intel on their fleet capabilities yet?" Another thought struck him, "Or ways to mass deploy this knockout gas or whatever it was the New Republic used in the first Vong war? Some kind of plant stuff?"

"Baffor tree pollen." Rosa piped up. "I believe, the mandalorians," she inclined her head towards the rude woman and the quiet mand'alor "are the ones with the easiest access to that."

"Go on please, Baron."

[member="HK-36"]

"The Baffor tree pollen will be readily available to all allies. I will see personally to that."The Mandalorian spoke to [member="Rosa Gunn"] after walking in, and patted [member="Gilamar Skirata"] on the shoulder. The Mandalore did not need to worry over such mundane details such as the transfer of trees to their allies and whatnot- he could easily do that. He blinked, staring at the individuals in the room before making his way further in. His helmet was thrown on the table, in front of an empty chair. Being so heavy, it scuffed the table slightly. The Mandalorian present had a different air about him than the others gathered. They were more refined, they were more diplomatic, wise, and tactical. However, Preliat Mantis had not earned his title of a Field Marshal by being any of those. He was a savage. A barbaric, brute. He took a seat, placing his crushgaunt adorned palms on the table. He glanced around at the people gathered.

He stared at [member="Coric Adromak"], having heard him spoke just prior to him walking in. Preliat's very presence to any those who could sense him was that of nearly of a rabid beast- which essentially is what the man was. He tapped his fingers on the table, before speaking."We solved the Sith problem by dropping asteroids on a planet. I wouldn't be against doing it again."

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Roth Tillian"]

Droid turned to Roth pointing to him to give him green light to speak and listening to his concern,

"Fleeting capabilities, I will ask for Lord Mandalore and Lord Protector's input on this,"

He would nod towards [member="Gilamar Skirata"] and [member="Ayden Cater"],

"For their reports on Vong elements during Defense of Eriadu and Defense of Dromund Kaas, during the decline of the Horde they still honored their alliance with the New Order, should the two faction not fall at the same time, the Vong would most likely end up among the New Order instead of One Sith."

He would switch the holo-projector then to recording of a naval battle, asteroids could be seen all around, dark ships on the other side of the battlefield exchanging fire towards the droid's perspective,

"Liberation of Silken Asteroids, me and Madame Kerrigan here,"

He motioned to his friend,

"We agreed to help the Moross Crusade forces push back the Horde's presence from the asteroids,"

The recording would pause as the droid motioned to the ships,

"I believe this is the only case in which any of the Galactic factions engaged the Horde, and the Returned Vong by proximity, in full-scale battle. What we faced were mostly old Sith Empire ships, while the Horde traded personal equipment to the Sith, the Sith seemed to return the favor with naval vessels. Their flagship during the battle-"

He would motion to the big dark shape seen in the recording,

"They called it the Dread-Lord, a Sith Empire Supercarrier constructed before the fall, by the end of the battle my forces would board it along with the Moross Crusade and commandeer it, the vessel is serving me now, I renamed it to the Dancing Queen, our reports indicate it was the largest vessel the Returned Vong had at the time of the Horde."

The droid motioned to other ships,

"We have seen only a couple of larger Vong-made vessels, most of the Vong-Shaped craft were the coral skippers, I have seen similar trend when I came to aid of the Mandalorians on Dromund Kaas, the ships Vong have sent seemed to be mostly Sith-made."

HK would turn to Roth, to look at the younger Rebel,

"As far as my reports indicate, through the Horde their fleet capabilities were as strong as the Sith supported them, if the Vong begun to create their own larger craft in greater number, they have either never sent it into battle and it still remains at their disposal, or they begun their production during the rise of the One Sith, however, input from the Lord Mandalore and Protector would be appreciated as they have greater access to naval reports that dealt with the Horde and the Returned Vong."

"As to the gas and the Baffor Tree Pollen,"
He would look to Rosa, giving her a bow,
"Thank you for clarifying its name for us, Madame Rosa- I do remember its use during the previous Vong Invasion when they became my targets, but I did not came that close to their designs to be able to replicate them from my memory banks, I am hoping that the Republic still has information and designs on them saved."

The droid would look to [member="Popo"] and [member="Kiskla Grayson"],

"And that these designs did not fall into the hands of the Sith, but rather were saved with any information that could have been restored from the Jedi Archives."

He would look to Roth,

"Until then, we would be able to design long-range projectiles to deploy knock-out gas, as I have shown before it is greatly effective against the Vong who still did not seem to grasp concept of a gas mask."

The droid would look to the recording as he allowed it to play, on the hologram the asteroids would begin to move towards the Horde fleet, slow at first but then they begun to pick up on speed, ramming into enemy ships like a hailstorm, Horde vessels begun to explode here and there,

"At least I hope they still have not. By the way, as you can see, me and Siobhan Kerrigan found out that the Horde's vessels were not indeed immune to asteroids smashing into them, of course the telekinetic heavy lifting was all done by Madame Kerrigan."

He would look to others then,

"During Coruscant the Crab Armor the Sith also did not stopped barrage from a bolt gun and freezing spells, compliments of my Eldorai cryomancer partner Kaida, it seems blunt damage is always a viable option against the Vong."

He would look to others,
"Any more questions? I do have few weapon prototypes to be used against them. As you can imagine, if a droid hears about Vong returning, or faces an amphistaff, he begins to immediately prepare."

Olivia sighed before looking [member="Preliat Mantis"] in the eyes from across the table and holding a single finger over her lips in the universal 'hush' sign. "That was the capital of the Sith Empire, vod." She explained slowly, again speaking as if to a child. "That planet had been populated by Sith, slaves, and abominations for longer than even this droid could likely remember." She said with a slight head-nod towards [member="HK-36"] as he paced the table. "These are former Republic worlds still full of Republic civilians. The Sith presence in the core worlds is that of an occupying force. If were to take such actions against the Sith this time, we would be committing genocide against billions of innocent men, women, and children." She said calmly, entirely glossing over the millions of innocent slaves and 'average citizens' that had been genocidely incinerated at Dromund Kaas only a few years ago.

"If we're to start burning entire worlds, that will not be a decision for either of us to make." She said calmly, giving the unmistakable impression that she would not be opposed to it either. "But for now, we wait for the droid to finish his presentation." She finished with slightly raised eyebrows and a glare, giving the unspoken message of 'dont make me tell you twice' that only an older sister can give.

Sannika Brynn

Let me tell you about a Rebellion...
Sannika was here as part of the threefold representation of the Rebel Alliance, brought along by [member="Mrrew"] with her leader, [member="Roth Tillian"], to emphasize the ragtag unity's prominence in the starfighting facet of war. It was not her place to speak out at such events, but her presence was appreciated by the Alliance leaders as it helped for their group to be taken a little more seriously. And she just happened to have a recording device on her person. The Alliance's Benefactor was in hiding but still wanted to 'be there'.

Roth seemed to actually have an idea of what was going on, so the youthful twi'lek pilot kept contentedly silent throughout the entire discussion, smiling and nodding to anyone who made eye contact with her. Truthfully, this conference was boring her, but there was a concealed excitement roiling in her stomach as she realized that it would soon be her time to help redeem the galaxy and cut down the evil Sith. What pilot does not like the sound of that?

Preliat calmly leaned forward, staring at [member="Olivia Dem'adas"].

"We should be willing to do whatever we must to eradicate the Sith. Victory is not just my preference- my preference is total annihilation of the Sith and any who agree with them or their principles."

[member="Preliat Mantis"]

The droid's metal fingers would rest on the backrest of Preliat's heat as he scratched on it with his digits, giving out a piercing metal screech just briefly to get Preliat's attention,

"Those matters can be discussed on later time when the floor will be given to you, for now let us discuss the subject at hand and focus, please."

Once more he would slightly lean over the chair,

"Thank you."

He would just slightly hiss that out

Rosa, cleared her throat. "While your passion is admirable, Field Marshall Mantis," Rosa interjected before things could get out of hand "We are not here for total annihilation, we're hear to ensure that the war is won, and that those that have been subjugated by the sith are freed. Not killed because someone got trigger happy." She smiled, it didn't quite reach her eyes.

Flicking her attention to [member="Gilamar Skirata"] and [member="Ayden Cater"], she spoke again. "Gentlemen, have you anything to add in term of their fleeting capabilities?"

Gilamar Skirata

The most important step is always the next one
The old man could feel emotions rise in the center of his chest as he recognized Mia's armor in the holo. His hands gripped into tight balls of furry but relaxed as he remembered Mia's final words to him. It would be anger and grief that ruined the Mandalorians in this war that had gone from a conflict they couldn't be bothered with to a war to find justice for a sister lost to the Manda and a brother who had lost his way.

Gilamar had listened intently to the words the droid had spoken, the words others had spoken in haste and sighed. Gripping his beskar cane, he clacked it down gently and used it to support him as he stood, his full height, not as impressive as some, and gazed around the room. His dull, green eyes peered into each and every soul as only a tested son of battle could. His gaze now fell on the two other Mandalorians.

<Udesiir, Preliat, Dem'adas.> It was a calm that surprised even Gilamar. Maybe Mia's death had sobered him up, literally and figuratively. "We will supply our friends with the pollen. We will also not dropping asteroids and wasting life, we would be no better than the Sith or the CIS. Unlike Dromund Kaas, not all of these people have devoted their lives to the Sith. They are the complacent sort from the inner core and will be happy to have their previous rulers in power."

He did not mean that as an insult, but he said it merely as his observation. The Sith, at least on Coruscant, had been less harsh and though they were invaders had kept the status quo for many of the elite in the civilian sector. He turned to Popo now.

"The Mandalorians have gathered intel that the one we seek in this conflict," his voice caught as he tried to force out the words, "The new Dark Lord, Ordo, will be on the planet Empress Teta. We are sending a large military force to take the planet and the traitor. I ask that if either the Republic or the Protectorate capture this man he is returned to Mandalorian space to be tried under Mandalorian laws."

He had still not recovered from whatever had ailed him prior, his legs were still hardly operational and ready for battle, but he would be damned if he wasn't to fight in that battle.
