Nodding at the master as the Dolphinian, or whatever he was called, introduced him. The Chiss didn't look especially powerful and probably wouldn't stand up to well in a fight if push came to shove. Still her master was the size of an insect so it probably wouldn't do to judge creatures on their appearance. Stretching her wings the Avogwi began to walk as the Chiss started off.

"I just came here after sensors detected my fellow padawan's ship. Figured it'd be a good idea to make sure he didn't get into to much trouble. Now could someone explain what this business is with a shrine to Jedi?"

A Chiss, a dolphin-like creature, and a giant bird - what a curious group, Aster thought as the trio came into view wondering what they could possibly be up to.

"What a strange group," her companion, Lux Norcross muttered almost as if she read the teenager's mind. "As far as I can tell, there seems to be no darkness in their Force aura. Maybe they are affiliated with the Silver Jedi?"

"Probably," Aster replied. "Shall we see what they are up to?"

"Sure," Lux said hesitantly feeling uneasy allowing her charge to interact with others in a situation where the pair would be out-numbered but it would be impossible to avoid such situations forever. "Remember to introduce yourself as Aster Rose and run as fast as you can if I give the signal."

"Yes, I know," the young Baelor agreed and began to make her way towards the group.

"Hello," Aster smiled greeting the trio.

Tyluko walked alongside Akio and Vitha as they proceeded to follow the Dellalt lake shore. Tyluko continued to focus closely on the words that the Chiss wanderer spoke as they traveled, intrigued by every phrase. He greatly appreciated the Jedi's outlook on life and his views on their current situation, and Tyluko was eager to learn all that he could during this journey. He continued to listen but he paused his thought process as he heard the Chiss ask why him and Vitha were here. Tyluko thought about that question....why was he here. He had a feeling that the assignment they had received was not the answer the other Jedi was looking for but something else rather....more along the lines on why he was currently on this planet, why he was drawn to this mission.

However before he could think further on the matter, Vitha answered the question, stating that she was here to make sure Tyluko did not get into trouble. Tyluko smiled at the Avogwi thankful for people who had his back. When the avian asked about the shrine to the Jedi, Tyluko took the opportunity to explain. "Long ago during the Clone Wars, a battle was fought here between the Clone Army of the Galactic Republic and the Droid army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Several Jedi knights including Knight Siadem Forte and Padawan Anno led the Republic army against the Separatists, but something went wrong.... something called Order 66 was initiated and the Clone troopers turned on their Jedi leaders. Several Jedi were killed as they attempted to flee the planet, it is unknown whether Forte and Anno made it off world. However the native Dellatians made a shrine in honor of the Jedi that fought here."

Tyluko paused for a brief moment and then looked at Akio. "And that is why I am here, not only to learn more about this event and unravel any mysteries along with it but also to pay homage to the warriors and events of the past. I have learned the importance of remembering such things from the past, and how vital it is to preserve history and the memories of those long gone. I feel that the Force has led me here for that reason. One must know the beginning and middle of a story before they can truly understand the ending; along with all its characters."

Tyluko was so focused on answering Akio's question that he did not even notice the duo of newcomers that had approached them. Tyluko bowed to them in welcome, "My apologies I did not see you two approach, I am Tyluko of the Silver Jedi and this is Akio and Vitha. Who might you two be?" Tyluko asked with a warm smile. He did not think there was any reason to be concerned but he could sense some sort of conflict within the minds of the two newcomers.

Recca walks into cantina where few corrupted officials tend to come for entertainment. He noticed the scanners before him. He quickly makes his lightsaber float high above out of sight. He is stopped by the doorman, who scans Recca for weapons. The doorman didn't find any weapons on him. He is waved through by the doorman. He nods to the doorman as a lightsaber floats above the doorman's head. Recca passes the doorman and the lightsaber quickly returns to his hand and places it back on his belt. He walks to the bartender and orders and drink. He sits in the corner of the cantina where he could see most of the room. He begins feels a strange presences through the force. He scans the room and sees two gentlemen at table in the opposite corner of the room. He takes a sip of his drink as he watches the two men. He realize the two men were officials of the government. They were shortly joined by a mysterious man. The feeling from before grows stronger.

" What could they be talking about?"

Sorel knew her own blade would have performed a similar task – but not at the pace of Krass’ saber. It was designed by her for such functions – whereas Sorel’s was crafted to simply be a weapon for duelling.

In the close proximity of the tunnel, the smell was uncomfortable but not life-threatening. And her bracelet meant she did not feel any undue effects of the heat the molten stone was generating.

And finally her Padawan had created a whole not just big enough for herself, but for Sorel too. And the awful smell of the stone was nothing compared to the stench that replaced it. It made Sorel consider the facts. The stone had barred their entry but there was, in all likelihood, other entrances and exits, for the creature in front of them was decomposed but not ancient. The rotten meat said it had been killed relatively recently. And whatever killed it was therefore most likely still around.

Sorel stepped through the opening and sensed nothing close by. “We should advance with caution. We don’t want to end up like that, do we?” What she failed to say was that, judging by the size of the dead creature, whatever killed it must be even more formidable!

Objective: Eradicate The Brotherhood of Darkness
Post: 1
Allies: SJO
Enemies: Sith

The Brotherhood of Darkness, an ancient organization that was famous among the Sith. It was similar in structure to the One Sith, but the new Brotherhood lacked its' strength, a fledging organization attempting to restore something that would, at least for now, not be restored. Among the local populace, there were those who were corrupted, and there were those who willingly followed the Brotherhood of Darkness. Those were the people Velus was here to eliminate.

The young Rebel decided it was time to start practicing with his lightsaber. He didn't like using it, mostly because he was still unexperienced with the force, etc, but he realized that it would widen the skills that he had. It was why he had been deployed with a group of SSJ soldiers, and Silver Sanctum Jedi.

Noises of battle could be heard, as blades clashed, and shots were fired. There group had been scattered in order to meet the threats close to him. That was how Velus faced a Sith alone, the first time he had fought one since his master had gotten killed.

"You will die today, like the rest of your comrades." the Sith spat. Velus knew better than to respond to him. Unknown to Velus, they were roughly equal in skill. Perhaps Velus would gain his first skill agaisnt a dark-sider with his blade. All would be revealed soon enough.

Velus attacked the Sith Acolyte, sending a diagonal attack from the left to the right in the hope of bisecting him.

The battle between the two had begun.

Krass was looking at her master and she gave a nod of her head while she was thinking about it. "Yeah those are... well some of the tombs we found on Tash-Teral had them they were brought and sold around to be guardians and they are pretty big." She stuck around with it getting through and in the area of the vaults no one had seen for a long time she pointed out some of the bones to show her that were large for their legs and arms with claws. "Though they were different on that world, alive so if something killed them it could still be around..." Or it could be a crazed cannibal one who ate their mate or the child ate one of their parents... there was a lot of things that it could be when she was looking out and around at everything they did. She was looking at the motion tracker as the few records they had in the archives said that they could hibernate and sleep not appearing to senses unless you looked for it. Krass was walking through and staying quiet to protect herself and her master where they could look. "So master, anything new been happening with you?"

Eastern Continent - The Ferryman

(4)

------------------------------------

The only sound that Coci could hear was the lapping of the waters against the side of the boat. She stood up slowly about to ask why they had stopped when the ferryman turned to look at her. There was nothing in his eyes, no outward sign of life within them, only a look of servitude, trance like and non respective to any thought. "Why have we stopped", she asked regardless realising she would not get an answer. Then, the boat began to shudder and a low rumbling seeped up out of the water and only moments later the waters parted leaving the boat to rest on a hard surface.

The ferryman opened his mouth but his lips did not move, but words fell from them. "It is time to pay", was all he said, but the voice was not his own. "Master Heavenshield", her name spoke with a sense of finality. And the boat began to sink.

Coci instinctively grabbed her lightsaber and the purple blade ignited as she stood between the ferryman and Nina. But the man did not move, nor was there any intention of doing so, she could have cut him down without any resistance. Instead her eyes searched the surroundings coupled with the force and below them a tunnel opened up delivering them and the boat to an underground room etched into the bed rock. She could sense nothing at this point, as if the force did not exist here like a void and it reminded her of the Netherworld when she had been taken and felt nothing. Obviously, she had survive that event, come through it with Thurion also taken and knew she could survive without the force but, it is not Netherworld .. something else unnatural.

Yet, this structure this tunnel is man made. "And what exactly am I paying for?", she asked finally turning back to face the ferryman. "Passage .. ". But passage to what?

"I am here for rather simular reasons," the Blue Pilgrim said with a deference to his amphibian friend, "I was pulled here by the Force, and I quite enjoy the journey, more than I love getting there, one might say."

He had found that was the key to true happiness, enjoying exactly where you were when you were there. He had traversed countless star systems and walked across thousands of miles of land on his own two feet--not to mention his dark past as an assassin without mercy or equal and the times that Dryzl had drove or flew him somewhere. Studying the arcane ways of th Force with singularity did come with its perks--but its down fall was a gaping hole in his skill set.

"When we learn to find that truth," he said reflecting on his past with a fond smile, "Then we are more at ease with ourselves." he gave Tyluko, "I forgot my past once. All of who I was, all of what I was vanished in thin air. I was bent on discovering it, I believed it would make me happy and explain everything but it only gave me more confusion." he tapped his temple with a winsome grin, "Parts of the past are still missing but I learned to not worry as much because I know where I am now--and who I am now."

When the band of two came across their path he stuck his pole arm in the ground firmly before offering a bow, "Namaste, and welcome, we are searching for a lost shrine that is at the end of this path, would you care to join us?"

With things still raging on the two who lead these forces continue to duel rising to the top of the roof even as they moved upward. Some on both sides even stopped from points of safety to watch. As They both changed to even more mixed saber styles the Sith Lord refused to be beaten by one Jedi with some strange ability to muddle him. He picked up one of the broken statues and broke it to pieces before throwing them at her. Meanwhile she took up the giant fountain on the rooftop observatory and with it’s water using the force pulled it up and then flash chilled it forming a thick sheet of ice that bought her time to jump aside and evade. Calmly she breathed as did he both catching breath and considering what to do next. She moved first lifting one hand she focused on the electrons in the air forming a green arching electrical current that formed into a bolt that slammed into the Sith Lord who was rather not used to jedi hurling lighting bolts. It was not lethal however and he simply slowly stepped up surprised.

As he stood he smiled. “You have learned much young one, you grasp the varied nuances of the force. But You do not know the power I can call upon. Allow me to educate you.” He pulled from a reserve of his own will and pushed a powerful burst of force energy smashing apart the fountain, the benches of stone and even the floor to some degree. As she pushed back she was struck and tumbled grunting toward the edge. As she began to stand up he lifted his saber moving toward her and slashed downward only for her to parry it and push it aside as she fought to stand again. Sliding aside she moved to get away from the edge. She then moved in with a series of strikes that he parried then tried to counter with his own attack. She used the momentum to move her own defensive efforts into his sabers path pushing it aside as they began to strike and counter strike aiming to find a chink in their armor. Finally however his greater continued fatigue played out and finally ruined him. He moved to twist to one side but was too slow. She locked his blade then her own movement swiftly repositioned hers and he watched helplessly as his hands were sliced form his wrists. Crying out in pain he fell and looked up breathing harshly as he looked to her with hate in his eyes.

But the hate was a wall he mostly was angry that he allowed her to win, that he had not recognized the trick sooner. He’d been beaten he felt because she had been more clever than he. “Now what will you do Jedi? Kill me and you rid yourself of me forever. However is that what a Jedi does? Your weakness is that moral code you keep. It disallows you to do what must be done, only what you were told to do.” He spat back to her. She looked to him and shook her head.

“No see I can kill you but I also know the state of mind I must be in to decide that. “ He chuckled some.

“Then I look forward to our next meeting jedi.” With that he created a blast of flames and electrical energy forcing her back and he was gone back down through a hole he made. Already his apprentice helping him escape as were other Sith. As she jumped down she went for the first of the defending sith striking at his body only for him to parry her forcing her to aim two rapid strikes at his person again before finding an opening she could exploit cutting the acolyte down but already her target was getting away. As they entered a small ship and began to fly off the other Sith continued the fight to try and slow the jedi that were slowly getting this far came in. The battle wasint over but she had lost her main target.

" He must be one of their contacts to the Brotherhood. Let's see what information I could extract from him."

Recca slowly gets closer to the three men. He sits down at a table 7 meters away from the three men. He still could not fully hear what the conversation was about between the three men. The mystery man turn to Recca's direction and lower his visors. To Recca's shock the mystery man's eyes were a pale yellow. The man winks at Recca before raising his visors over his eyes. Now he understood the strange presence he felt before was this man. Recca knows he has to be very careful with this man, who was a dark side user. He moves closer to the three men. As he is getting closer to the men a drunk man falls into him. He loses sight of the men for a split second. The two officials were still at the table but the third man was gone. Recca quickly turns his head towards the entrance. The man looks at Recca and gives him a devilish smirk. Recca quickly make his way the entrance. He chases the man to a dark alleyway.

" Hello Jedi..."

" You know who I am, but I'm guessing you are Sith? With those mesmerizing eyes of yours."

" Wouldn't you like to know JEDI."

" So I guess I got the wrong guy. Sorry to trouble a fine upstanding citizen like yourself."

The Sith ignites his crimson lightsaber which gives the dark alleyway red hue. Recca ignites his blue lightsaber in form II. The Sith uses force pull to rip a piece of the wall off next to Recca. Recca quickly slashes the piece of wall in half. He looks back to the Sith and he is dashing towards Recca with amazing speed. Recca uses his force to enhance his speed. Their lightsabers clashes as the two stare each other down. With blinding speed the two parries each strikes. The alleyway lights up red and blue flashes of light.

“Pretty big?” Sorel echoed, the amazement evident in her voice. “I’d not like to meet something you consider really big. And like you, as much as I’d not like to meet another of these, I’d like to find what killed it even less. But I get the feeling that whatever will be, will be.”

Sorel was impressed by her Padawan’s seemingly unfazed approach and so she mirrored it. Nothing spooked a Jedi more than another Jedi on edge – let alone your own Master.

“Let’s see…” Sorel wrinkled her nose, trying to think of anything out of the ordinary. “Usual stuff really. Missions. Nearly lost my hand. Twice. You know, Jedi business. What about you?”

Ostdern traveled through the wild in search of something, but what he could not answer. He was itching for a fight, but this urge was too powerful. It compelled him, told him, to stray from intended path. A saber pike was held out in his right hand, ready for any ambush that might come. The urge now became a pulsing wave throughout his body. A pulse that was rather, uncomfortable. Eyes scanning the earth he couldn't see what was calling him, and he couldn't hear it either. Again he wondered, what is calling me? He thought back to the teachings of his Master, [member="Akio Diachi"] . Maybe I'm finally starting to grasp what he told be. I feel it through the force. Wait, he's here too! A small wave of excitement overtook him briefly before the waves came back again, stronger with every pulse. A voice could be heard in the distance. Jedi? Sith? Alien? He did not know, but he decided to check it out. His walking turned into a tip toe waltz and then a crawl until he made it behind a tree. Peering out he discovered it was [member="Akio Diachi"] conversing with some others, [member="Tyluko Dubykee"] , [member="Aster Rose Baelor"] , and [member="Vitha Sat-thuron"] . He walked slowly out of the brush to greet them.

"Oh hello master, I didn't think I'd see you here. Let alone with other Jedi I assume. What brings you here? I'm in search of something, but I can't tell what."

Krass was listening to her master and taking the time so that they would be able to search through it all here. Her masters idea of just normal jedi thing were important as well. She could imagine a number of the things that might happen that could lead up to almost losing your hand twice and that was why always safe to use the wintirium bracers to protect from losing your limbs where people liked to cut things off. "Well I haven't done a lot outside of the labs. A few places that I like to go to with the jedi involve a chance to get the different jedi archives and knowledge centers back to operational order. Where we will be able to go and have new experiences. i went with a small group that were searching in an ancient temple and met with a number of jedi in the Nidhog system. The jedi order flourished there reaching just over nineteen billion."

"H-hello," Aster stuttered meekly at the sight of the man with blue skin and red eyes. The memory of her recent kidnapping by the Chiss extremists still haunted her.

"Sounds interesting," she replied, her discomfort obvious as she spoke. As difficult as it was, the teenager knew she had to get over her uneasiness around Chiss - many of them were citizens of the Iron Empire after all.

Lux, sensing her charge's uneasiness, interrupted the young Baelor as she was about to continue. "Yes it does," she agreed. "But before we go on our merry way, I think it's best we introduce ourselves. I'm Lux Norcross and this is my younger sister, Aster Rose - same mother different fathers," the woman lied casually.

Grateful for her bodyguard's intervention, Aster shot her a grateful smile. Had she been the one to introduce herself, she would have certainly slipped up and revealed her identity to these strangers.

The doorway he entered led to a wide-open hall with multiple balconies and shadowy alcoves. More than one person had fallen here, prey to the snipers that inhabited those shadows. The Master allowed the Force to guide him into a series of gymnastics, tumbling through the air with a randomness that gave the snipers fits. Their positioning was well-suited for soldiers or less experienced Jedi, but against a Master they would have been better off massing their fire. He didn't even try to block the slugs with his lightsaber, he instead locked it on and hurled the glowing blade across the hall towards one of the alcoves and shut down the shield. The flying weapon attracted some of the attention, freeing him to retaliate somewhat. Each time his feet touched the floor, a pulse of Force energy left him. Telekinesis all, some of the bursts were aimed at people, knocking them back. Others were at the surroundings: collapsing an alcove's ceiling, shattering a balcony like a bomb had gone off underneath it. Seven snipers were out of the game once he hit the other end of the hall, one killed by a lightsaber the rest by his Force use.

Here the hallways narrowed and branched out. Audren allowed the Force to guide his feet, placing more attention on detecting traps. Some of these were blatant: the Sith apprentice rushing at him with blood-red blade, the laser walls. Others were subtle, like the increasing sense of psychic pressure trying to crush his spirit. The best ones were automated, the anti-personnel mines triggered by motion detectors...halfway through their field. The range flowed from standard to creative and beyond. With considerable effort and some minor injuries, he made his way through them all. His favorite, by far, were the mines and the flamethrowers set to saturate a choke point with white-hot flames, the latter he'd ended up needing to find a way around.

One attempt that stuck out in his mind was the bait. A lone Sith had hidden in the corner of a T-style hallway, working to conceal his presence in the Force. It hadn't been good enough, Audren had walked by and shot the boy without even looking as he tried to ambush from behind. Unsuccessful, but it had distracted his attention just long enough for the five Sith ahead to start their attack. From where they'd been cloaked in unnatural shadow, the first two attacked, lightsaber pikes thrusting for him. He shifted to his right, bringing his lightsaber up to intercept the metal of the pike and finding that it was, as expected, made of some lightsaber-resistant material. The force of his parry though - sideways and up - forced the one pike to hit the other, spoiling the strike of both. He'd never stopped moving forward, and his own parry was swiftly reversed and cleaved his target from shoulder to opposite hip. The other was thrown against the wall hard enough to crumble stone...and snap many of the bones in the body. Up ahead, four more crimson lightsabers sprang to life.

Sorel listened and was impressed by the amount of activity that Krass was involved with – and also the breadth of the action. She was naturally drawn to lab work – but then to visit the Jedi of the Nidhog system? It was not somewere Sorel was familiar with.

Once upon a time she wanted to visit every planet – or at least every one with a Jedi enclave on it. Right now she would settle for just keeping up with the new discoveries, let alone visit them.

“Tell me, Krass,” she said as they walked forward – Sorel’s senses checking constantly for any threat. “What did you find there?”

Krass was looking at her master with a nod of her head to what they were doing. To indicate the plan of action was going forward..... the vaults as she looked over at it holding up the glowrod. "The system itself was quite nice, the jedi had created the temples there. They made massive temples across the entire planets and the moons." She was unsure of what they might be able to say about it. A system of jedi temples that covered the moons and entire planets with billions of jedi on the worlds, training, refining, enhancing and showing their own skills. Isolated and mostly self sustaining in their own ways outside of the galaxy for the most part as discovering it is more difficult.

Jadis was admittedly a little lost on what do in her first foray with the Silver Jedi. The theocracy of Nibelugen was the model of order and efficiency while Dellalt...wasn't. There were so many problems that it was hard for her to pick just one where she could apply her Jedi know how. After some thinking, she decided to take a stab at this mining issue to prove her worth to her Silver Jedi peers.

Now, the government had requested that the Jedi investigate the situation at the mines, and some had already gone ahead to do that, but she did not see the issue being with the criminals who had illegally opened the mines, she saw the issue with the government itself. It was so inept that it could not tend to its people, or learn to profit the mines without outside interference. This would not do. Long term, the best way to help the government was to show them how to help themselves. The people would lose even more confidence in the government if it was shown to be incapable of handling what amounted to a minor issue. The Silver Jedi were not Jedi Lords here to rule. One day they would leave to aid others in dire straights, and so the people would need to learn how to manage themselves before that time came.

She headed for the administrative capital, requesting an audience with the governor. Understandably, much of their attention was taken by the current operation unfolding to rid their planet of the Sith nuisance, so she had to settle for the interior minister. That was fine for her, so long as she was speaking with someone in the position to make change. For the meeting, she dressed simply in drab brown and cream robes. The only thing that stood out about her attire was her pewter grey lightsaber hilt clipped to her belt. On her way the the government center, she moved with a bounce to her step, lips slightly upturned in a smirk. The woman underneath the mask of the devout Jedi was excited to be back in her old element, even if it was just small beginnings.
