Escape from Purgatory •[Thread Planning/OOC Discussion]•

Oh trust me it made everything a whole lot worse. Even though it strengthens one's connection to the force as IEV-12 mixes in with the Midi-chlorians it also increased his PTSD,and because of the experimentation/torture by the sick, and twisted docters he has become more aggresive to everyone so when you evaluate him. He may try to kill you upon the first session.

Lol wait till I get transfered to general population. When I become your cell mate you might want to sleep with one eye open. My nightmares just got a whole lot worse, and my strength well I'm going to get used to it. :)

[member="Cathul Thuku"]. Yeah well it's now a combination of Order 66/Jedi Purge trauma, and the Experimentation that I just went through that practically drove me to the dark side!

Well hey at least you'll be living. You might suffer a few scratches, but hey you'll be breathing. When the games come I can't make any promises for you!

You can expect Nate to post some point after Singularity today.

Keep up the good work, just make sure it's tasteful; I'm certain a lot of people here, at least on the website, have relatives who suffer from the condition. Make sure to keep it accurate.

Don't worry about offending anyone, if we have anyone complain I can handle it (i.e. telling them to shut up). I just want to reiterate the point that these are more than plot devices; I'm referring to this more out of personal preference, out of understanding for the complexity of the subject, rather than some PR display. :p

Just do what you think is best, I'm here to lead a RP, not judge you as a writer. :)

[member="Jansal Corego"], how do you think I can improve my immersion with my character? I feel like, compared to everyone else's characters and their attributed personalities, my character seems rather bland in context.

I feel like I try to put more detail in what he's doing and how he reacts to things that I don't give much time to what he's feeling or thinking.

Also, do you feel that having my character still feel the pain of injuries 'long' after they've healed is enough of a drawback for such an implant? Do you want me to research how the implant would work and post any relevant tech and bio information here?

My advice is always to let your character write itself, don't force anything or you could damage its overall development; if you don't feel like he has anything to think about or share, then wait to get the ball rolling. By the end, I'm certain he'll have evolved as will you.

As for implant, no need to get approval, it seems logical for me; I'd research medical disorders similar to what you describe as well as relevant tech to spice up your posts however - it might help you feel like you're increasing your immersion by adding details to how everything's playing out in your character's body.
