"I slept well enough, I hope you did as well."

He had stayed up for his nightcap, did a little poking around his suite, observed the little park-like ring that encircled the interior of the station. Eventually he had ambled into his bed, waking up early to keep his normal routine. Early this morning he got to walk around the penthouse uninterrupted, checking out the holos of the family and getting some work done.

"So...every...morning...it is like this. I will give you some credit, I'm not sure I could do it. I mean...I'm going to get used to it, of course, but you have a very effortless look about you regarding all...this..."

This being the noise. The chattering of all the kids at once. Pots and pans moving about, the setting of their breakfast spaces to eat, the questioning being tossed around by the girls. At one time, when he was a much younger man, he had wanted a large family. It was normal where he came from, lots of kids to help on the farms, with the small industries.

Yet it would have been just like this. Maybe it was due to his age, or because he was used to being alone, but easing into the day quietly was much more preferable. He didn't remember Myra and Makai acting this way...no, they had talked non-stop but it wasn't this level of chaos.

"Pirates?...Danger....I know it can happen to anyone, but do you really think Makai and Myra are doing a good job with the girl? I...I don't know if this is a wise move."

Voice was kept low at the question, leaning closer to her. They couldn't have a full in-depth conversation now, but he wanted at least a vague idea of her thoughts. Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau had been the one observing all this time.

Makai unlocked his comm, passing it over to Rue as she immediately took a seat where he typically sat. Notebook was opened and the little redhead got to work, tongue sticking out slightly in concentration. He sat down her matching mug and poured her some milk, eyes catching Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau and Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell talking low. No doubt his father was trying to figure out some things without him knowing. Or maybe he had some questions not meant for Rue or Persie, it was hard to tell.

"There you go squirt." Makai ruffled her hair before leaving her to make the trade and do what she wanted in regards to their fantasy gravball team.

Looking at his chrono, he was growing worried about Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell .She had been working hard, then in the middle of wedding plan, he knew he was stretched thin. She needed her sleep and no way was he going to wake her up, but maybe he could suggest staying home and just taking a day for herself. He could head out to Erilnar and get both of their work done. It wasnt like her to sleep this long and he was getting more than a little concerned.

"Makky, can I dos my presentation without My-rah?"

He chuckled.

"Yes, I'll just take notes, don't worry."

"That I did," Danger replied, and it was an honest answer to Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell 's question. She was finally getting a good nights rest, save for the times when she had to stay up late for a meeting due to a difference in planetary timeframes. Life had moved into a predictable and known routine, with her focus on taking care of the girls and mentoring Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell and Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell when needed.

However, it didn't take long for a singular auburn brow to perk slightly at the old salvager's murmured query. "Reckon it is no different than me and you -- save that they have each other now."

A slow blink, then a sip of her caf, "Ain't like both of 'em don't have more resources now to do what they need to do based off what they want their plans to work out." She spoke softly and casually, as if she had already reviewed a business proposal and found it to be a good investment.

"What would you do different that they aren't doin' now?" Question pressed, Danger raised her voice and smiled over at Persephone Dashiell Persephone Dashiell , "Oh don't you worry none darlin, I'll step in for Myra. Reckon I can oversee a proposal in her stead well 'nuff."

“I was gonna wait til after I had breakfast but…I had some berries, I can eats in a minute…plus…I cant wait to tells you anymore. Makky can you make sure everyone has their food?”

A natural supervisor, Persie directed her ‘big brother’ to go ahead and cut and plate the quiche for everyone. Keen ocean blue eyes watched as he did as she asked, soon forks were scraping plates and eyes were staring at her position at the foot of the table.

A laser pointer in hand, the projector was turned on.

‘Why Iko Vel Iko Vel Should Live With Us.”

First slide was clicked. Nerves clicked in for Persie at the same time.

“Um…so’s you all know by now…that uh…Iko is real sweet on me…and uh…I think I’m his girlfriend an’ all…an’ uh…he mentioned that he uh, to move in with us, ‘cause I was tellin’ him how great everyone has been.”

This wasn’t a typical Persephone presentation. Normally she could easily breeze through these things and command the room. Even when asking for something big ; like going to fashion week, that had been real easy.

This was difficult.

“I told him…I says that he can’t be no Jedi if he lives here, cause we don’t do that. I told him all the rules and…everything…he still said that’d it’d be fine..so…I said we’d ask yous but…I wanted to argue why…but..”

Stumbling around over her words, face started to flame red. This was different. This was being put on the spot. She wasn’t sure of how to recover or where to go from here. It was even worse when four sets of eyes were staring at her.

Fork was set down, Makai got up to join Persephone for the presentation, motioning for her to sit. He knew the girl was nervous and how easily this could all go sideways, especially considering he saw the wheels turning in his fathers head.

“How’s it going this morning everyone? Breakfast good? Sorry for the lack of a professional look, my only suit got lost in the transportation terminal.”
There was a giggle from Rue at his incredibly lame joke, a groan from Persie and a roll of his eyes from his father. Not a bad reaction in his opinion. He flicked back to the first title slide and started to talk, addressing the family as a whole.

“So, this is actually good timing. Everyone knows we’re moving to Joiol, we’ve been building the house. Most of you also know there was a delay. There was a delay because we changed our house design completely. Things are back on track, the progress is great, the home is beautiful.”

A slight pause.

“What you don’t know is the reason behind the house change.”

“Dont tell me you knocked up My-rah.”

“No, not yet.” Makai laughed and continued. “So the change is because we created a massive compound for the entire family. There's a home for Danger and Rue. Dad, there’s one for you. There's a home for business guests and entertaining. So there's a space for everyone, separate from the main house Ellie, Persie, and I will live in.”

Another small pause, letting it sink in.

Your homes are fully independent. No need to pop over and use our kitchen unless you want to of course. Everything you could want will be contained inside or on the expansive grounds of the property.”

“Ellie and I value family and we would be honored if each of you would consider joining us, if even only on a part time basis. We would love to have everyone close, especially as we grow our family, to continue to stay close and find some solace in the chaos that is our galaxy.

Now pushing this more towards Persie's issue.

“Let's say we take in the boy. I propose that Dad, he lives with you. Iko seems good with his hands and has a gift for metalwork, I know you two can find some common ground. Besides, you did an excellent job of molding me into a man, I couldn't think of anyone else better for Iko to learn from.”

Despite butting heads, Makai was no fool. He owed a great deal of success to his father, who sacrificed to raise him correctly. Iko was like raw metal ; with a little refining and hammer work the results would speak for themselves.

“Now, I'll let everyone mull this over. I need to check on Missus Dashiell.”

He returned the remote and laser pointer back to Persephone, disappearing from the kitchen. Makai knew there would be further questions for Persie and Danger was acting as an proxy for himself and Ellie would ask the things they would ask.

Door carefully opened to their room, slipping inside. She looked the same as when he left her, a little blanket worm on her side of the bed. He would normally wake her with a hushed ‘Ellie Arceneau’ but refrained, instead quietly sneaking over to feel her forehead.

‘Why Iko Vel Iko Vel Iko Vel Iko Vel Should Live With Us.”

Therein came the slow blink of the Queen of Trade. She held her caf mug aloft and by all intents and purposes was more than a little stunned even though she did not show it. Oh no, decades of keeping a cordial pleasant expression bloomed into activity then, the Arceneau matriarch giving a cant of her head as Persephone Dashiell Persephone Dashiell blushed and bumbled through her presentation.

Oh, this meant a lot to her.

Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell stepped in to assist, and his pitch was equally stunning. One part of Danger wasn't sure if this was a joke, and another wondered if perhaps Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell was right and Makai and Myra were taking on too much.

Danger set her caf down and then watched Makai slip off before she could ask questions. Oh, that little coward!

This meant that all attention was now on Persie again. She was still blushing and rubbing off the sweaty palms on a napkin -- of course, she wouldn't do it on her clothing!

"Beggin' your pardon, Persie... but just who is this Iko?" Danger asked casually, trying to keep her tone calm and warm.

Rue had none of it. She immediately went in and said, "He's Persie's boy toy."

Myra was in a blanket burrito.

Not an uncommon sight. By now Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell was well aware that the heiress was a blanket hog if he let her have her way. Typically when they slept together, she'd curl around him like some tentacle sea creature with her arms and legs. But once he got up to go for his morning run, she made up for it by rolling all the blankets around her and falling back to sleep again.

A cool palm would come to rest over her head and Makai would see she was warm, but not too warm. Just deeply asleep. She was likely trying to get as much as she could before having to go out on the trip to Erilnar. Normally El-Three would have come in to drag her out of bed, but he'd been tasked to assist in other matters while Myra was on the station.

Took only a few seconds, however, for the heiress to stir. Bleary eyes would blink and a deep draw of breath would fill her lungs. Groggy, one eye would slowly open as a muffled, husky voice would go, "Heyy...."

Another series of blinks. Ah, Makai's fuzzy peachy face would start to sharpen and become clear. Oh, hey... he wasn't wearing a shirt.

A salacious sleepy grin would curl over her lips and she would try to unfetter an arm to drag him down.

If looks could kill, Rue would certainly be on life support. At first, sharing a room with the girl was fun, their beds were on far separate sides of the room and their possessions filled opposite ends, looking as if someone had stitched two totally different rooms together. They even had late night girl talk...and late night girl talk meant Rue knew all about Iko Vel Iko Vel , right down to the boy being sweet on her.

"Uuhmm...Iko....Iko says he's my boyfriend. He's really my friend too! When Makky took me to see him on Fondor, after the pirate thing...he,uh...he gaves me a really cool gift....then,uh....I sorta kissed him..."

Kissed was probably a stretch for the quick peck on the lips, but for a teenager it was a big deal. Or at least, it was a big deal in her eyes. Ain't no one even said they liked her like this before! Well, 'cept family. That didn't count. This was someone who liked her for some odd reason despite her extremely brash nature.

"...then we went for a walk and did more kissin'...."

Again, another stretch.

"I told him about yous all and he was sayin' how the Jedi ain't his family and his Daddy don't care for him none...sayin' maybe he'd be better off with us..."

Judah looked to Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau , as if to say this is exactly what I was talking about . Immediately he thought his son and future daughter-in-law were in over their heads. He hadn't expected them to take over with Persephone in this manner. Granted, they were reaching a point before he left where he hadn't known where to go with the girl. A test confirmed she was a Dashiell, but no one seemed to know exactly where she came from. His cousins didn't have a clue upon questioning.

Privately he had considered boarding school to get her up to speed and at least living a better life. Apparently the kids had other plans and took her in, much to his concern. He had voiced them briefly to Danger but didn't get the chance to reply in the chaos. Now it was chaos on top of chaos.

A deep breath. Makai had absconded under the guise of checking on Myra. He could understand to a point but this did involve his ward. Perhaps he wanted some questioning out of the way ; the pair did fly back to Centrality together...obviously this had to have been a topic. Especially as more details were coming to life.

"Well...if history don't repeat itself."

Danger would know exactly what he meant. Only ten year old Makai literally packed a bag, defiantly looked at him, and declared he was going to live with Myra whether Judah liked it or not. Circumstances were different, Makai had gotten his way, but he could see the echos of having dealt with this before.

"I think before any decisions are made we should talk to the boy. This is a big decision....I'm worried he won't understand many of the implications. Plus, you're very young. You two break up or stop being friends....you dont want resentment to settle in that he gave up so much. I'm not completely opposed to guiding this boy but Persie, he hasn't even been around the family. What if hates everything about us? About this life?"

The more Persephone Dashiell Persephone Dashiell spoke about Iko Vel Iko Vel , the wider Danger's eyes grew. By the time Persephone finished, the Queen of Trade sat up straight, her elegant posture reflecting her growing concern. This proposal wasn't just about a boy moving in -- it was about an unknown boy, without any consideration of his background or his parents' approval. And the 'kissing' involved with a young teenager? Well, that was another layer of complexity.

Danger's mind flashed back to the stories Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell had shared, tales of what went on behind her and Judah's backs when Makai and Myra were the same age. Young love could be quite the handful.

Recognizing the delicate nature of the situation, and not wanting Persephone to feel cornered, Danger decided to ignore Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell 's side comments. She needed to approach this with facts and calm reasoning.

"Persie, Judah has a point," Danger began, giving him a nod. "We need to know more about this young man. I'm sure your feelings for him are strong, but what do his parents or guardians think about this situation?"

She folded her hands gracefully on the table, her demeanor a blend of Southern charm and business acumen. "Why does he need to move in with us? Can't he stay with his parents or guardians while you continue to see him during your studies and internships? Why rush to moving in together?"

Danger's tone was gentle but firm, aiming to guide Persephone to see the broader picture and ensure that everyone's best interests were considered. She hoped her words would lead to a thoughtful discussion rather than a defensive reaction.

Needless to say, despite Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell 's thoughts that this was a plan that had been concocted by Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell and Persephone Dashiell Persephone Dashiell by the seat of their pants, it was anything but the case.

As soon as Makai realized the type of budding relationship Persie had with Iko Vel Iko Vel , he had reached out to inform his fiancee and update her on the details - laughing, of course, at the hilarious overtures regarding teenage romance and how odd it was to see it happen again. He wasn't sure if this was just puppy love or if it would even grow into anything serious, but it was evident that some strong feelings were involved. He didn't want to discount what they felt, but Myra and Makai also had to be realistic and reasonable with expectations.

The next several days the pair took to getting more information on the young Jedi hopeful; learning more about his family, state of living situation, and just what might come up should he continue to be part of Persie's life.

One of the main issues is that Persie and Iko were just kids. Sure, Myra and Makai had been kids as well and had grown up to be childhood friends and fell in love like that, but that wasn't the same with Persie and Iko. Deciding to move in with strangers just because a friend - or girlfriend in this case it seemed - offered it up was a bit strange and a quick escalation.

Myra wanted Persie to really be able to come to know her friend - or crush - the right way. Through time. Makai thought that perhaps if he spent time with Judah since he was now here that would be an option. There was much more to discuss but it wasn't to say they hand't talked about it.

With a mused head of mahogany hair and a flushed face - that she washed with some cool water to wash off the sweat - Myra sashayed herway into the kitchen wearing a comfy robe and a nexu ate the cream kind of satisfied smile a woman well taken care of could only provide.

"Mmm... morning!"
she sang, brightening as she caught sight of Judah. Making her way over, she leant down to kiss him on the cheek and hugged him from the back.

"It is good to see you Judah! How you feeling?"

Persie rocked back on her heels, not wearing her typical combat boots, but branching out to a different style of shoe. Unlike the others, she would never be caught dead in her pajamas out in the kitchen unless it was late and night and getting a snack. Instead she was already dressed for the day, hair perfectly styled, lip gloss applied even though she would have to re-apply after breakfast. While she looked perfectly put together on the outside, inside was anything but.

"Wells...'course I don't want no one gettin' resentful. That's why I told hims he should do a trial run. See if he likes us an' all, likes what we do here. He say's that's a safety concern to the Jedi...comin' and goin'. I don't know why. Guess 'cause of the battles goin' on?"

Perhaps she should have asked more but that's all she could think of.

"So his Daddy don't care for him none. Not the way Judah don't care for Makky, yellin' at him...more...he don't care what happens to 'im. His Daddy sent him away to the Jedi 'cause he said Iko was an idiot. When I wents to see him his Daddy wasn't no where to be found and Iko could barely walk and all...didn't seem right."

Obviously Iko Vel Iko Vel couldn't walk due to the pirates but still, she found it odd his Daddy didn't at least come to stay or bring Iko home while he recovered from everything. About to make more of an argument, Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell emerged, huggin' Judah and greeting him. Saved a bit. She could bring her guardian into the conversation now. Thankfully.

Although that may be good or bad, she didn't know what Makky and My-rah decided

"I told Makky and My-rah and they says they'd talk about it. Makky says he was runnin' a background check and tryin' to find out more about his Daddy, maybe even talk to him in person."

Listening to Persie's speech, Judah was holding off judgement for now. Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau had asked the right questions. Especially regarding the boys parents. Young Persephone had even managed to call him out for yelling at Makai, although much of the context was beyond her comprehension. Apparently they had been spied on during their time in the nerf fields out in that fence building project.

About to reply, he was a little startled when Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell kissed his cheek and hugged him, offering a morning greeting. If there was one person who would be happy about his appearance it would be Myra. Years of taking care of her and having her around his home and business had left them with a rapport, the young woman feeling more like a daughter than mere acquaintance.

"Myra, a pleasure to see you made it out to the land of the living. I'm doing well, we're just discussing young Persephone here. I hope all is well with you? We will have to catch up soon."

Gaze swung back to Persephone. As much as he liked Myra, there was a deep concern about her being in charge of Persephone, especially with this situation added into the mix. It was something he was struggling with as an experienced parent, let alone two young adults who were just starting out.

"I hate to put you on the spot so early Myra, but do you have any feelings one way or another on this situation? Or have you not had time to consider?"

One minute he was checking to see if Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell was sick, the next he was standing shell shocked in the shower, still not quite sure of how they both managed to pull off that in such a small time frame. Hot water beat down on his shoulders as he scrubbed his hair, trying to make it quick, not wanting to leave his fiancee and Persephone out to the wolves, so to speak. Not that he was expecting anything overly drastic to happen. He and Ellie had fully discussed the situation at hand, immediately calling her once the pair had left to walk around Fondor. He wasn't a stupid man, such a situation required a lot of thought and effort, they had been discussing it since.

One of the big reasons they were so adamant about taking over Persie's care was because they thought the girl needed a positive example of a decent relationship. Once he had gotten back from Fondor he joked with Ellie that they were too good of an example. Not that Persephone knew the rough parts ; that was something Makai was about to burst her bubble on.

Shower done, quickly dried, Makai tossed on some sweatpants and shirt to rejoin everyone to continue this discussion. He truly wasn't opposed. Much of the argument was the same he and Ellie had when they took in Persie : they had the space, they had the credits, and they had each other. Life for the both of them had leveled out, they were on solid ground, and it wasn't as if a teenager needed their constant attention in much the way a newborn did.

Back in the kitchen, he kissed Ellie on the cheek, lingering a moment before kissing her temple.

He rejoined his spot next to Rue, who had a hold of his comm, and was in the group message with the guys, currently trash talking. There was a low chuckle as he looked over, trying to get an idea of what happened.

"Did I miss anything important?"

"Yeah, I called Harlon a uneducated miscreant." Only Rue would have academic insults.

"No, with Persie."

"Oh...I wasn't paying attention. Something about her boy toy."

Myra was in the middle of making herself a cup of caf, along with one for Makai – his had probably gone cold by now. Preparing his caf was a morning ritual she cherished, a small, everyday routine that she always looked forward to.

At Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell 's question, she turned around, giving a small, inquisitive, "Hmm?" in response. It took her a few seconds to process what was happening, taking in Danger's questioning expression, Persie's anxious one, and Judah's probing look.

"Oh, about Iko Vel Iko Vel ?" She slowly stirred the caf and then handed a mug to Makai, savoring the kisses he gave her. She snuggled against him for a moment before turning back to Judah, ready to answer his question.

"Well, it's clear that the two care for each other, but maybe starting with something more like an internship would be a good idea," she suggested. "We could provide room and board as well as training for him. We do the same with teenagers looking at regional sector occupational courses for apprenticeships. I've expanded the program into a formal Regional Occupational Program to channel talented and skilled workers into the various subsidiaries in each sector we oversee. Not only can we train them in the skillsets and positions we need to staff for the future, but it also ensures we are providing skilled workers to the local sectors they come from."

Myra's suggestion hung in the air, practical and filled with promise. It also meant that if things didn't go well between Persie and Iko, at the very least Iko had something to fall back on

Danger could typically read Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell like a holobook, and lately, while that might not be completely the case, she could still read some tells. It was clear the old salvager still had his doubts. Yet when Myra provided a nonchalant solution, the Queen of Trade let out a soft, muted chuckle.

She was eager to see if that old fool had anything to complain about with Myra's proposal. It was well thought out and prompted the consideration of apprenticeships for blue-collar positions that were hard to fill. If they could get skilled internships across various industries now, it would create an easy funneling system straight into Arceneau Trade and its subsidiaries. Their business was stable, and if they brought in other like-minded businesses interested in participating in such a program, they could broaden their reach and capture the interest of young teenagers early on, molding them into a responsible and skilled workforce.

Of course, there was still the issue of the boy's father. The last thing they needed was a news flash on the holonews claiming that the Arceneau Trade family had kidnapped a child and put him to work. Even worse would be the father panhandling for credits.

Glancing over at @Makai Dashiell—wait, what was with that dazed look on his face? Know what, I don't want to know, Danger mused to herself. Getting his attention, she asked, "So, what's the plan for the boy's guardian and gettin' his permission so he doesn't start hollerin' we kidnapped his boy or tryin'to extort us for credits?"

Still a little dazed from earlier, Makai merely sipped his caf and listened to Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell give the proposal she had been working on. Naturally, he had already known all about the program, it had been a topic of their breakfasts since coming to the Centrality region. It was smart ; getting the workers in now and offering skills to teenagers of the 'verse. With so many refugees, folks would be looking for a fresh start, they could provide internships that wold not only help the companies but also the intern themselves. Getting skills at a young age meant it would be an easier way to get themselves up to speed, get experience under their belt, and potentially move on to new ventures or promotions.

A small smile was directed towards Ellie. Beauty and brains, he had gotten incredibly lucky. What she saw in him was still beyond his comprehension.

Reflecting on his luck, Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau interrupted his thoughts, asking about the boys guardian.

"Ellie and I ran a background check. His parents are broken up, his Pa owns a restaurant and his Ma is a singer, like the ones you see at cigarillo lounges. He has two siblings. He's had quite a few broken bones. So, while I sent Persie back to Centrality on her own, I stayed behind and went to Coruscant to visit in person. The boy is technically under the care of his father, although they live far apart. I inquired about Iko joining the intership program for several months as a trial period and he was surprisingly nonchalant about Iko just running off somewhere and leaving the Jedi. Mr.Vel's biggest concern was Iko paying a small loan back to him."

A small pause.

"It was like he didn't even care."

Which, as he told Ellie, greatly bothered him. He had spent the entire night ranting about it, head in her lap as she listened, about the entire conversation with Mr.Vel. How someone can just abandon their boy like that, not a care if they were serial killers or slavers. Makai wasn't sure how a man could do that, look at their boys face and send them away. He tried imaging in the future of his own son and just not caring where the boy went to. Impossible to comprehend.

"I say we have Iko sign a labor contract for an internship and see how he likes us and the work. After his six month contract is up, then we can propose a longer-term solution with Iko. Maybe emancipation if the father doesn't turn around, that would absolve us of any legal issues that would arise."

Judah blinked, first at Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell and her idea for the internship. A well thought out plan, one he would personally want to get in on. Finding skilled supervisors was his main pinch-point at the moment. It took several years of experience and education on various regulations ; either mining or salvage, in order for anyone to feel comfortable enough with them leading crews. So much could go wrong. If these teenagers and young adults could learn early in a type of accelerated program...

"I think your idea for an occupational program is genius. One reason why I believe you will surpass Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau in success."

A sly grin was tossed in the direction of the Trade Queen, lightly teasing her. The old salvager wasn't quite sure if they were at that point again but he went ahead and tried it anyways. Worse he could do was fall back to rock bottom in terms of their friendship, and frankly he wouldn't be falling far at this point.

"Makai has a point with the emancipation. Let the boy try it out first. He may get homesick, miss the Jedi, miss his Pa and decide to go back to his own studies. Or he may see the benefits of sticking it out. Its one thing to say these things but...once you're in the shit..."

At his cursing, Rue giggled.

Persephone had the good sense to stay quiet while the adults debated. She knew interjecting now would be trouble for her cause, and that cause was getting to spend more time with Iko Vel Iko Vel .Things had progressed quickly with him wantin' to leave the Jedi. Persie didn't mind the fact, figuring he could have studied and met up with her when possible. Apparently the Jedi life just wasn't for him. Or so he thought...Judah had a point, what if Iko didn't like anything once he got here?

Face paled a little. It would be fine if he went back to his studies at the Temple, she was just concerned he would resent tryin' to fit in. Yet...none of them would know until he was....as Judah put it...in the shit.

"So's....he can do the program?...like he can start an get used to everything?"

Danger took a sip of her caf, musing over the answers to her questions that Makai and Myra provided. Then she pondered over Judah Dashiell Judah Dashiell 's observations.

Slowly, the Arceneau Matriarch gave a slow nod, "I believe that it is a reasonable solution -- However, if he is part of the Jedi Order, discussion regarding the boy and how the Grandmaster Valery Noble feels of such a circumstance with one of her Padawans deciding to intern elsewhere may be warranted. I double we need any other misunderstandin's between us and the Order that may come to blows." she added wryly, more in humor than actual belief that things could come to blows again.

It wasn't just Iko's guardian they'd have to discuss things, but also with the Jedi Order if that is where Iko had been living at since his departure from his father's home.

Danger looked at Judah, an auburn brown arching high, "But if all goes well.. does this mean you'll take the boy on and look after his room and board?"
