Exploring

Junko turned and looked at the bounty hunter as she spoke closing to stand near her. "Yes and if we encounter danger then we'll handle it. if I knew for sure there were any dangers then I would disclose it." She liked having the bounty hunter around, hunting for ancient artifacts as bounties was a very nice things that she would be able to do and they had the chance to go down there and explore.

"Alright, well once I pick up my carbine, I'm all set to go." the Bounty hunter said the bounty hunter drawing her revolver briefly and checking the cylinder. She span the cylinder with her hand, a rapid clicking sound being abruptly stopped as the woman flicked her wrist, closing the cylinder.

She had a grin on her face and it would be perfect as she was looking at it. Prepared to work on some of the things before she spoke. "Perfect, you get the gun and I shall get my gear in a pack to take us in. A small amount but there is a lot of new rations that are tasty and designed to be sealed and packed." Junko was moving with a look on her face as she walked towards the room where her stuff was and the bedroom itself was fortified and protected by more elite guards on some of the walls.

Kat nodded and ran off to grab her weapon. A few moments later she returned with a back pack, the carbine in hand, and a chain duster on her belt, along side her side arm blaster and revolver. "Where're the rations?" she asked, moving the backpack from her back and into her hand.

Junko looked at her while she was going through the area and presented the one room, a store room with the crates of higher grade rations and it was build like a shelter to handle bombs. The water producing canteens and water systems they could have working on many things to protect from the siege. "Here we go, we have a lot of them. As well as the means to produce more in the levels and the kitchens. FOr times like winter if it gets to snowed in to leave in transports."

Kat nodded and started packing water and non-perishable foods into her pack. That and a few medkits, a firstarter and a flashlight with extra batteries and she was all set. "Ready when you are." she said as she zipped the grey bag closed, the carabiner clips on its front clinking noisily.

Junko was looking at her when she gave a nod of her head, she had her pack ready to be used and there was a grin on her face. The food, the supplies were there. The equipment she needed like her robe and there was her hair piece before she was walking and leading the way. The private tunnels and pathway leading down into the honeycomb was carved stone with murals and the thick heavy doors that were there. They gave a lot of protection as there were temple guardian droids down here. They were made to protect the jedi temples and places of interest before she was motioning for the doors to open up. She wanted them to open it as the large doors opened on the magnetic lifts. Interested within it as the doors opened revealing the large tunnels.

The large tunnels gaped like the open maw of a crate dragon, the light that streamed in quickly being swallowed up by darkness, the stone floor only dimly illuminated. Perfect for dungeon crawling. The bounty hunter readjusted the pack on her shoulder and held her carbine in her hands. She took the first steps into the howling darkness before them.

She could see it and going through it as the heavy doors were closing and a second set that was manned and made to look like the interior wall of it. The rough stone showed when she was speaking. The glow of crystal lights that cast the roads and tunnels in pale light that was dim and just good enough that you weren't going to fall down. "The escape tunnel is made to be one of the large and heavily defended areas but these here." She indicated the the path as it glowed. "Is what we want. There is so much down here."

Kat looked into the dim light, heart already pounding, excited for the next bit of adventure. "When do you think the last time slmeone stepped in here was?" she asked as they walked the empty stone halls.

"Well" Aside from them when they were clearing them to make sure ntohing would attack during reconstruction she couldn't say. "Before us, I am not certain there are a number of people who used them to get around unnoticed and you can be warm down here where the geothermal vents are. Used to heat the areas themselves so you don't freeze." She was moving and illuminating a small part of it for them to all go around and see the tunnels with a small grin on her face. This was eciting and the carved stone fo the tunnels were painted with murals and directions.

Kat thought for a moment. She'd never considered the possibility of freezing down here. Now that [member="Junko Ike"] had brought it up though, it made sense. There wasn't much underground to warm people...unless you had geothermal vents apparently. Whoever built these tunnels definitely knew what they were doing. Kat wondered what it must've been like with thousands of beings milling about down here.

Junko was looking at more of it while she looked over more fo the things there. The holopad with the map from the slab showing what had been the path and overlaying it with the honeycomb itself was there. She looked for more things with a small look of interest. Staying around behind all of them when she was heading. Through the tunnels. She could see more of it and moved to stand with her escort. "So while we travel, what has been going with you."

"Been laying low recently. After the One Sith went down and I stole a Corvette I decided to take it easy for a while. Ended up taking a small job on Coruscant, against my better judgement." the bounty hunter recounted as they trekked through the glowing tunnels, "someone tried to frame me and the guy I was working with. We made off alright though. Ended up taking another job on Maridun kidnapping a Jedi slash princess, uh...not that I have anything against you guys, just needed the credits..." she said, suddenly reminding herself that [member="Junko Ike"] was in fact both a Jedi and a Princess. "I gave her my contact info though, in case she needed help escaping. That's really been it. How about you?"

[member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]

Junko looked at her and was raising an eyebrow before grinning. "You tried to kidnap another jedi princess? Oh my, I think you might have a type." She said it as a joke while they were walking and getting all of the interest for themselves. Junko was more then happy to really see it hersellf. She was a little saddened to hear that the more honorabe bounty hunter she had met had fallen on hard time sna dwas laying low. Some higher paying for the job then would be important and she gave a nod of her head indicating as the tunnels changed but the stone was embedded with jewels and veins of aurodium. "well if you like to get through those hard times so you don't have to take questionable job you could get some here. Enough aurodium in this tunnel for several super star destroyers."

The Bounty Hunter laughed at the mention of her finding her 'type', "Hey, you never know." she joked back. The woman had wide tastes after all. She may just surprise the Princess.

"I appreciate the offer." she responded to the woman. as she ran her hand along the jeweled walls of the tunnels, admiring the rough uncut stones. "I may take you up on that every once in a while." She smiled at the Princess. Kat had few friends. And few as generous as [member="Junko Ike"]. "But, you know me. I gotta keep moving. I'd go stir crazy if I were stuck on any planet for more than a few weeks."

[member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]

Hmm ohhh hey.... Junko was looking at her for that and there were a few thoughts in her mind of what might be able to happen as they were exploring. A chance to realy see some fo the things here and she clasped her hand behind her back to walk seeing her. "Well you don't have to sette down on a planet... but having something for yourself so you can lay low somewhere very nice after a job instead of somewhere you might not want to wak on the floor without protection. There is of course always a room for you at the palace where we have plenty of space."

Kat gave the woman another smile. "Thanks Junko. I appreciate that." Together the two continued to walk through the empty tunnels. "So do we know if we're actually going to arrive at anything down here? Or do you think it could just be like this the whole way? Empty?" She asked after a few moments. They hadn't been walking for an especially long time, but the Bounty Hunter had expected at least something by now.

She was looking at it with a nod of her head here, where she could work on many of the things. Down here in the tunnels though she could think of a few things down here she would like to not encounter. KNowing a number of the native creatures. "it is kind of a mixed bag, on the one hand well if the tunnelsare empty it could be boring but there are some dangerous creatures on this planet that coulld be in the dark and cramped tunnels a danger to us." Still though as they were following it the first area was coming up an area filled with debris and half broken sections of carts overturns nd vases.

"Yeah, well as long as they're hides aren't blaster resistant I think we'll be ok..." Kat wasn't exactly keen on meeting the denizens of the dark either. If she could, she'd like to avoid them. The ones that lived underground were always creepier than the ones up top.

Spotting the vases and overturned carts, Kat cautiously approached them. With a foot, she nudged one of the broken vases around. Nothing jumped at her...yet...
