"Some fo them arean't one of the creatures is blind and as long as you don't go nears its eggs you don't have to thin of a way to fight it. Something that is fifty meters tall here is not exactly something you want to fight underground." There was more and she could see all of it, the tunnels and the area going with her map but there was more once they got ot the map markers and Junko brought out a small crystal as it glowed. The directions going there but illuminating sections of the works that were crystal coated. Pointing the direction they needed to go.

"Yeah, well knowing my luck, I'd fall right in the middle of all of them." she said, voice thick with sarcasm. Still, something that was fifty meters tall? Kat didn't wanna fight that unless she was in a walker...even then she didn't really wanna face that thing.

The glowing crystalline walls continued to enrapture Kat as they proceeded through the hollow earth. She wondered what they'd lead them to. It was a sight she doubted few would ever see. That alone was enough to make her feel a little more appreciative of the dirt upon which she stood.

Junko was looking at her and picked up on the sarcasm when they were moving through the area. She stopped when Kat did to look around and she offered her arm to the woman with a small look. "Maybe, but I'll be right there with you. We can handle it together." She had a small grin for it and leading the way as the tunnel came to show them. A small carved area of stone arches that were showing a water fall. The long fish when she was looking at them and they were like snake heads. In the mud out of the water before hopping back in. "Careful they have poison glands but they can be very good food given their size."

Kat marveled at the quiet waterfall, trickling into the small pond at their feet, all framed by ancient stone arches. The Bounty Hunter watched as one of the serpentine fish wriggled out of the mud and slid into the pool. "If we kill it, how do we clean it? Should we watch out for any poison glands?" the woman asked, the prospect of food immediately catching her attention.

She was looking at her and moved over to the sides. "The gland is there in the mouth and throat. Their heads are a lot of bones which is good to cut off same as their fins if you got to kill it." She said it while looking around and pointing to some of the other areas that were lined with crystals to lead them through before she spoke. "That is where we want to be heading." She was looking at it and there were some older stairs leading up on the other side but not showing where she wanted to be able to go.

Kat nodded, filing away the location for later use, in case they found that they were in need of food. Although, as of yet, the tunnels didn't appear to be as labyrinthine as the bounty hunter had expected. Clear cut tunnels, illuminated by the graciously provided lights of the crystal which lined the walls. Things didn't seem like it could get any simpler. 'Shut your mouth girl.' Kat silently thought to herself, 'You're gonna jinx yourself.'

The bounty hunter mounted the first of the ancient steps, and slowly lent it more and more of her weight. Satisfied that the archaic stone wouldn't crumble beneath her feet, she continued to move up the cracked staircase.

Junko was looking at her as they went, the cracked staircase and the area providing her a clear path but that didn't mean she would be able to just do it. Even with her magics as she focused the force energies. The green mist appearing around her hands and Junko was scaling the walls with her hands and feet like she was just crawling up the wall. Magic spells were a wonderful thing to have and train with the force. She trusted Kat to be able to get up as the fish seemed to be interested in them and flopping around in the mud.

Kat watched Junko scale the sheer wall and crawl along its sides, impressed.. "Where'd you learn to do that?[/colr]" the red-head asked, eyes on the glowing green mist that surrounded the woman's hands. It reminded her of what she'd been told of the Nightsisters of Dathomir. Kat wondered if that was who Junko had learned that trick from.

"When my unit crashed on Dathomir i learned spells from thew witches until my father was able to finally send an envoy to see if I was alive. They trained me in ways to use the force and the fallanassi did much of the same." She had learned a great deal from all of them when she got to the drop of the pathway and stood there by the doorway. Seeing some more crystals and mushrooms, holding up her own crystal and it allowed her to see what was there. The pathway they needed to take going itno the deeper tunnels that were going near the oceans and an underwater mountain range.

Kat gave the woman an approving look, "Did you uh..." the red-head snickered, "'mate' with any of the Nightbrothers?" she joked lewdly. Kat knelt down by the mushroom and fished out from her back pocket a cloth and gently picked one up to examine the fungus.

Junko looked at her with a raised eyebrow walking with her. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She said it more as a joke but there was something there, never knew what might become of it before she looked over at some of the information. She was able to see a lot more of the tunnels around them and it could take a great deal of time. "we are on the correct path. There is a large mountain range that runs under the ocean that we are in right now."

Kat chuckled at the Princess's response. Looking up from the mushroom she listened to the woman tell her they were under an ocean. "Hold on. Did you just say ocean? You mean to tell me their are thousands upon thousands of liters of water above our heads right now?" They must've ben unfathomably deep below the earth at this point if they were below a body of water as large as an ocean.

"Yes." Junko said it while she was walking and stopped to look at some fo the plants when she touched it. "The ocean is something nice actually more of it is rock and crystal below so it remains very clear and there are massive cleaners that were built but the same beings who created these tunnels. It keeps the oceans clean and is powered by geothermal vents." She was looking at many of the things here when they kept going. Some of the larger rooms themselves were there and casks were stored in there. Going to it as she held one of the smaller ones and shook it with the sloshing sound of wine. "But this is the best area to keep some of the alcohol that they create in the smaller communities."

"Huh, ancient beings with a mind for the environment...that's a new one." Kat commented as the Princess sloshed the wine cask around. "Wine? Sure its still any good?" she asked picking up another of the casks and sloshing it. Hearing the sound of wine, she popped off the cork and sniffed the liquid.

Junko looked at her. "well they did need to live here as well, while having a world is one thing if you are just going to poison and destroy it then where is the value in that?" Looking at the wine she wasn't certain... thoughts about it were... how could you really tell without opening it up and seeing how it tasted. it might be good and perfectly aged or it could be a risk and vinegar."

"Look at Taris. Its polluted, destitute, not much of anything except the buildings...its still going." Kat pointed out as she brought her nose away from the cask. It smelled fine to her. She brought the cask to lips and took an experimental sip and looked at the cask, impressed. "Its still good!"

[member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]

True but Taris was more of a city planet then this one with the large swaths of open area, ocean and mountain rangers. She was looking at Kat try it and then got the cask from her while she took a drink for herself. "Oh my." it was very very sweet to the taste and you could tell the alcohol was there and potent but not as overwhelming.

"Blast, is there anything they couldn't do?" the woman asked, taking another swig of the sweet liquid. The bounty hunter put down her backpack and picked up a second cask, storing it away in the pack. Putting the pack back on, she stood the first cask in her hand.

"Survive into the modern age." She said it and it was mean but partially true. She knew that a number of them had literally been in stasis on one of the planets itself. They were still around but isolated and preferring to stay away from most of the galaxy as she was checking though while getting some of the smaller casks to look at Kat. "Never a bad thing to have and this deep down you never know."

Kat laughed at the woman's comment. It wasn't a lie. Funny how even the most advanced civilizations found an end eventually. That was the kind of stuff that made one realize how mortal everything is.

The bounty hunter waited for the woman to retrieve her share of wine before forging on, blaster held loosely before herself. At this point Kat had begun to doubt that there was much danger down here. Still, it paid to be somewhat ready. She wasn't about to let her guard down completely.
