GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Group Name: The Crows
  • Classification: The Family "Royal Guards", Special Operations unit, Intelligence Agency,
  • Headquarters:
    Dohmus Prime - Home
  • Nar Shaddaa - By Extension
  • Coruscant - By Extension
  • Noverskaa - By Extension

[*]Loyalties:

[*]Group Sigil: A Blue Crow Emblem - DC Comics/Nightwing
[*]Description: Created by Auberon and Titania as a form of special operations under their wings, The group is mostly set to perform missions that some would consider suicidal, or extremely difficult given the circumstances. At times, they can act as the Royal guard, or stationed upon any location that the Family operates upon. While these uses are fairly rare, they are more often used for their skills in combat, and tactical advantage. Each Crow is the eyes, ears, and messengers of Auberon and Titania throughout the Family. Feared, but respected within the Family, for the simple fact that the members are also of their own Intelligence agency that will get the message across, and will discover much more.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy:
Corvus - The highest rank within the Crows, it is the title given to the leaders of the Crows themselves. They oversee all operations within the shadow of their wings, as well as lead them in major operations of importance, or battle.
  • Wings - Second in the pecking order, The wings oversee most of the day to day operations within the Crows. Under their shadow, all agents answer to them.
  • Cipher - Masters of their trade, or reaching importance through merit alone, a Cipher may operate with complete trust and agency. A Cipher is a job description that can be simplified with fearing an old man, in a profession where men die young.
  • Psion - The majority of Agents within the crows are Psions in rank. Given a berth for them to operate on their own, but still must answer to the higher powers within the agency.
  • Agent - The lowest rank, as well as the entry position for any Crow that wishes to become a full fledged agent within the agency.

[*]Membership: [What does it take to become a member of this group? Is there an initiation or a ritual? Missions they have to carry out? Tasks to perform to prove their skill/worthiness? For families, is it easy to marry into the family or are there certain attributes the family leader looks for/do you need approval?]
[*]Dogma/Doctrines: [Describe the principles and tenets kept by this group in relation to rules/laws within it, religious beliefs, teachings and philosophies created by its leaders and kept by the people within it. This can include various aspects of a faith/religion, or rules to a club, laws of a mafia or guild, etc.]
[*]Curios: [Do the members of your group have any special item, marking or trinket that designates their membership? Something that only those part of this group would have access to or possession of? Examples are tattoos, amulets, rings, books of faith, etc.]

DESCRIPTION
Personally designed for use by one of The Family’s professional cleaners, the pistol is a reliable & effective backup sidearm. It provides significant damage capability against lightly armored opponents out to 6.5 yds (21 feet) by delivering a small projectile at incredibly high speeds. This is accomplished through the use of a miniaturized series of magnets built into the barrel & frame of the pistol; by design, these magnets are unaffected by distortions caused by most electromagnetic fields. This is accomplished through conservative use of Phrik, a metal which dissipates excess electrical energy.

The system is based around the general principle associated with Verpine Pistols, providing silent operation & incredibly high damage. The underside of the weapon’s frame has been designed to provide pain-compliance options versus most sentient creatures, and may provide limited melee effectiveness. Utilized alongside a dedicated Melee weapon, an individual pistol becomes a powerful close-quarters tool for assassination & assault.

DESCRIPTION
Designed as an ultra-concealable & discrete backup weapon as well as a tool of artifice, the MSW-9b Molecular Stiletto is capable of cutting through most materials short of armor plate. It delivers substantial damage to soft tissue, and provides a ready cutting tool for splicing tasks. It's only weakness is its' incredibly fragile blade; through hasty or impatient operation, the blade is liable to snap, rendering it useless.

DESCRIPTION
Purchased originally as a basic model from Corellian Arms, Vincent's personal weapon has been significantly upgraded over the years. It has been outfitted with a number of aftermarket parts & upgrades, including a sloped mag-well for ease of reloading, a selectable power-supply to increase damage (at the cost of ammunition supply & controllability), a longer barrel for greater accuracy and range, and a biometric lock keyed to his specific biorhythm.

The blaster is a tool for a professional; purpose-built to perform under the most adverse conditions. While he may not always carry this particular sidearm, he relies upon it heavily. It has been with him on many adventures, and has taken many lives.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

  • Intent: To create basic armor for one of The Family's assassins
  • Canon Link: (Please link the canon link if applicable canon item.)
  • Primary Source: (Please link and cite the sources which you are modifying for your use in your submission.)
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Multipurpose Men's Active-wear
  • Weight: Average
  • Resistances:
- Blasters (And other plasma type weapons): Very High
- Kinetic: Very High
- Lightsabers: Average
- Bladed Weapons: Average
- Other: None

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Lightweight Ultrachrome/Kevlar Matrix: Sewn within internal lining as thin, somewhat flexible sheets. This technology provides the armor's primary protective qualities.
  • Scanner-reflectant coating: Protects the pockets from common electrical scans.
  • Manufactured in Corellian Fashion, by Corellians

    Strengths:
  • Built specifically to protect the wearer against the most common ranged threats, Vincent's coat has been crafted using materials which are highly bullet- & blaster-resistant.
  • Coat hangs naturally, and is indistinguishable from common men's jackets.
  • Provides some protection against lightsabers and bladed weapons.
Weaknesses:
  • Coat is 2.3x the weight of a typical coat of comparable style.
  • Scanning material only protects the pockets, not the torso.
  • Lightsaber attacks will quickly overwhelm the protective materials, potentially causing heat damage to tissue.
  • Provides no protection against other environmental threats. It's just a men's coat.
  • Coat is not immune to tearing, shredding, being burnt, or otherwise being damaged.
  • Protection does not extend beyond what the jacket covers.
DESCRIPTION
Designed to protect the wearer's torso from most common forms of damage. A team of the Family's highest-trained tailors on Dohmus Prime were on-hand to provide Craftsman-quality attire for members of The Family on request. Each piece of attire is sold with a matching set of slacks which provide no protective benefits.

Vincent's responsibilities take him far & wide across the Galaxy. On most civilized worlds, this attire will suffice to protect him from the majority of threats.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Melee Weapon/Multipurpose Tool
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: Light
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • High Tensile Strength Razorwire; deployable through a small piece of the frame which houses the wire. Available for immediate use & undetectable.
  • Short-wave Cutting Laser; Not necessarily useful for combat, but makes quick work of common cutting tasks. Device charges through kinetic motion (the pace & movement of the wearer).
  • Secure Commlink; Useful for short-distance communications. Difficult to intercept, but not impossible.
  • Wrist-chron/countdown timer; Useful for keeping time on any number of worlds. Also provides a countdown timer with variable timer & vibrational alarm function.
  • Frequency Management & Signals Suite; Essentially a limited-bandwidth command module, this program allows for a handful of frequencies, and may apply limited commands - such as triggering a detonator remotely, or providing limited commands to an outside receiver (such as a droid).
Strengths:
  • Cutting Torch - For small, fine-detail kind of work, the cutting laser is capable of melting common metals quickly. It is useful for bypassing common door-locks, removing sections of pipe, slicing through retaining material, removing handcuffs, etc.
  • Specialist's Weapon - The garrote stored within the device is specially designed for user-friendly operation. By using the small piece of frame as a support, the user may use the razor-wire for silent assassinations. The cord is not unbreakable, but it is durable.
Weaknesses:
  • Garrote-wire
DESCRIPTION
(Describe some of the histories behind the submission. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. • Defenses: (You may provide your shield and armor systems in list format and must provide your vessel an Defense Rating. (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, Moderate, High, Very High, Extreme. Where None is a man in a space suit hanging on to an engine, Average is typical defense, and Extreme is heaviest defense with heavy armor plating and multiple layers of powerful shields. Defensive Ratings are scaled in relation to the type of ship, meaning a Starfighter will not equate to a Destroyer. You should list particular systems under advanced systems. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Approved Technology)
  • Hangar: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
    100 Meters: [None: - | Very Low: - | Low: - | Average: 0 | Moderate: - | High: - | Very High: 1 | Extreme: 2]
  • 200 Meters: [None: - | Very Low: - | Low: 0 | Average: 1 | Moderate: - | High: 2 | Very High: 3 | Extreme: 4]

[*]Maneuverability Rating: (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, Moderate, High, Very High, Extreme. How agile is your ship? Can it take tight turns? This is relative to the size of the vessel (e.g. a Corvette with Low Maneuverability will be more agile than a Star Destroyer with a Low rating.
[*]Speed Rating: (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, Moderate, High, Very High, Extreme. How fast is your ship in normal space? How fast can it take off, how fast can it speed through a planet's atmosphere? This is relative to the size of the vessel (e.g. a Corvette with Low Speed will be quicker than a Star Destroyer with a Low Speed.
[*]Hyperdrive Class: (The lower the number, the faster the ship. You may use decimals. [Very Slow: 10 | Average: 2 | Very Fast: 0.3] Going below 1 typically requires balancing out with other weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
STANDARD FEATURES
(Provide all of your submission's standard features, including non-combat items, here in a list -or- alternatively simply state 'all standard features'. This includes all features that are common for vessels of this class. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology, Shields, Engines)

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
(Provide all of your submission's advanced systems, including non-combat items and special weapons, here in a list. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Stealth technology and other advanced systems may require other weaknesses or reduced ratings for balance. Ensure significant capabilities from systems are included in the Strengths and Weaknesses lists. Examples include: Stealth systems, Advanced ECM systems, Crystal gravfield traps, HIMS, Molecular shields. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology, Shields, Engines)
Strengths:
  • (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 strength of this submission.)
Weaknesses:
  • (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 weaknesses of this submission.)
Description: (Describing your submission's history is optional. Please provide a detailed account or link of each special feature that is listed in this submission. All miscellaneous descriptive elements go here, such as Cargo Capacity, Passengers, Consumables, Crew, etc.. There is no requirement for amount of words here so long as you meet the minimum requirements for your advanced systems.)
