I'd support a capital ship reset to original trilogy standards. I've always hated 800-gun star destroyer standards set by power creep in the Expanded Universe. ISD Mark I and Home One both had the equivalent of about 180 guns.

Legitimately I feel that a NFU stands no chance - when Force-users who don't use the simple thing called 'balance' come knocking, they've got NFU god tech at their disposal, Force god tech and the ability to kill with a little more than a thought and gesture.

Very, very very emphatically, no.

Twelve months ago I was a resident RPJ stormtrooper. I know the standard of what was being approved. We hit a point with starships that it got bad enough that a new guide was rolled out to manage it. The level of tech back then was high but manageable.

I've been back two weeks, give or take.

There was an event suit of armour that I'm now seeing as standard. The power creep is now to a ridiculous point. Why? Because people are blowin' up volcanos, generally doing ridiculous things, and something needs to be done to counter it. Enter the god tech.

You'd think the solution is moderation, but no. It's no longer possible. I'd rather level the playing field with a reset.

Let me illustrate this with a really valid point here: I write a Master. He is nothing special in terms of the Force. I just had him coagulate all the blood in someone's body.

And that's perfectly acceptable.

I might have done it with the permission of the other writer, true, with the intent to kill my character in the same post. But it's highly justified.

Tell me what an NFU could do against something like this.

Guys really look at whats in the factory so much of its out dated. By resetting it allows everything to be on the same page and avoiding the whole situation of some ships for example to be on the old way of things and then ships being on the new stuff. Also several ships in there again as an example are no longer in use and just sit there for no reason. By resetting it - gives you and the factory a new start.

No offence Spencer and I say this with the utmost respect, but it also, in my opinion, spits on all the work that people have put into the factory, whether that be judges, RPJ's, admins or us regular people.

That said, I'm with [member="Ashin Varanin"] in being all for a capital ship reset. Personal vessels don't really step into the realm of "oemgee, are you kidding?!" from what I've seen. Cloaked one here, fast one there, nothing world shattering. But once the meterage starts going up, so do many eyebrows. Using the ISD as a basis would be beautiful. (Outside of capital ships, I disagree)

That's just my two cents. But fret not, you can't buy anything with two cents in this economy. Carry on~

I know an NFU that can take out Aaralyn who is exceptionally trained in a few short moments of a fight, several NFUs if they know what they're doing.
