Enhancing her speed, Nef quickly caught up with her love and found him offering help to another Jedi.
"Nice to see another friendly face; especially here."

Being reunited with Gherron was great, but the task at hand had to come first. When this was over, hopefully "Rylan" would stick around long enough to at least meet his son.The thought tickled at the back of Nefertari's mind that he might actually stay, but she didn't fully trust him to not run off with little more than something like "I love you, but I can't come home yet."


Nearby was another presence, what to make of it, Nef wasn't sure. She simply took her hilt, keeping it un-ignited but at the ready.
"I sense great tension in everybody here. If any of you have a plan to destroy this thing, we should set about it soon."

One detonator, childsplay, Praetorias thought.

"so you're just gonna wait!"

However, before he could respond with actions, a loud noise behind the Sith Lord caught his attention. He quickly caught a glimpse of what it was over his shoulder, someone was lifting the wreckage of the ship he had placed as a barrier. He could escape through there and quickly dispose of whoever was foolish enough to face the might of the First Order, he thought.

But then it started coming back ... quickly ... very quickly. And at that point Praetorias knew, he dun karked up. He made quick glances between the thermal detonators and the molten pieces of metal being hurled towards him at incredible speeds. Then a bright flash of light illuminated the dark hallway, the first detonator.

It was as if time had slowed down for Praetorias. He was experiencing the following moments in what felt like minutes, when it was only seconds in reality. His first action was to dodge backwards, towards the shrapnel, whilst beginning to unsheathe the blade of the Jedi Master. He could see some of the shrapnel coming towards him and brought the blade up to the deflect, continuing the draw motion. Simultaniously he leaned slightly to the right, preparing for a jump as he saw a large metal plate heading directly towards him

Then a second bright light illuminated the hallway, another detonator, this one closer than before, far closer.

Praetorias felt as his back was seared by that detonation, his robes would certainly be ruined by that, but that was the least of his concerns. As more shrapnel was starting to come dangerously close to him, he jumped, barely managing to seize the small window of opportunity as the large metal plate had turned just enough so he could fit through the small gap it formed with the ceiling and the wall, placing his free hand on the wall mid-jump. Once the metal plate had passed far enough to give him some free space he pushed himself off to avoid some more incoming shrapnel, however he had not been quick enough and a sharp piece hit him in the thigh, throwing off his concentration and momentum.

Then the third bright light illuminated the hallway, there was still more shrapnel coming towards him.

Due to his thrown off momentum he was not able to completely dodge the shrapnel he had intended to avoid by pushing himself off the wall. Luckily it didn't hit any major veins or organs, some of it merely grazing his side, but other bits lodging themselves within it. Once he hit the ground however, he ducked to avoid the last wave of shrapnel, surviving the last barrage without major damage, though some once more cutting a few superficial wounds through his already seared back.

Bleeding from several wounds, he was exhausted, breathing heavily and slumped forwards, lying on the ground, but he had survived. Relative silence followed this incident, only broken by footsteps. The Sith Lord straightened his back to sit up, embracing the pain it caused him to let it fuel his hatred. He looked at the new challenger momentarily, allowed himself a brief moment of rest, then lunged at the figure with the blade raised, ready to carve them into pieces. His mind was consumed by hatred and anger. His eyes seemed like they were burning. He would make them pay.

Vorhi smile as bolt of lightning flew from his challenger's hand. Good, this was interesting. Aimed for the chest, likely trying to damage his heart. But, it was still an energy blast, meant to keep him at a distance. Unfortunately, sidestepping and lung forward, again with a right punch, was easy enough. He held up his other fist, also gloved, smirking. "I haven't even used my left arm yet," he said as he took a quick swig, watching the boy with a smirk. "Please tell me you're going to be more interesting before I finish the whole bottle off, lad," he said as he re-corked the gourd. Normally, he'd show a Sith of this calibre some respect. But that line about graves? Nah, this was no longer a time for kindness to the next generation. This little brat had to learn the hard way.


He put his left hand behind his back, guarding with the right. "Your next approach, then?" The master of Teras Kasi smiled warmly as his brows seemed to twitch behind the blindfold and hat. How the hell was the hat still on, anyhow? It must have been well-fitted to stay on while he was moving so fast. Or maybe it just knew where it's wearer was going to be. No, that was stupid. Still, why was this middle-aged man smiling while facing down a man half his age, obviously eager to kill him? Why did he seem so cheerful about facing a dreaded warlord of the One Sith in mortal combat? His back to the wall--well, his back to a vending machine instead of a wall, but close enough--easily fifteen feet away from the man, he was at a disadvantage. So, why taunt him?

Adson was startled by the Trandoshan's behavior. Very un-Trandoshan like, and, looking at his insignia and gear, very un-Mandalorian. But war could do strange things to people. "You can come to my ship", he told him. "I got what we want, now lets get out of here." He glanced about the crowded hangar. Others were starting to stream out too, and someone was using thermal detonators. Time to blow this place. "Here", he shoved his pack into the Trandoshan's hands. "Take this too my ship, and go ahead and get my ship going", he paused, "And don't try to leave without me, I have the master controls right here if I need them." He tapped his wrist console. Grabbing a datapad from a pouch no his belt, he ran back over to where he had spliced in. He plugged the other connection this time to the datapad. He started sifting through the code.

Kami ran up the hall way to [member="Jericho"] and [member="Darth Prazutis"] she was fast hopefully fast enough to out maneuver a sith lordshe oppened her YoYo and mad to swing it arrounf the sith's kneck.

 

[Darth Abyss]

Abyss heard his nose break, as yet another punch meet the mask on his face. Another man would have felt pain, but he felt nothing at all. Every battle he fought ended with him crawling through the dirt, obsessively clinging to his live, and with every of them he lost a part of his humanity and therefore a part of himself that was still able to acknowledge pain. His face remained stoic, a blood began to trip down on it, barley acknowledging the fact that man had just broken a bone.

This time there was no stumble, he had taken all momentum in his face, and pressed his own against it, keeping both his position and stance. He watched the man dance back, agile and fast, way more than the sith himself. Yet he was unfazed by this, more than once he succeeded over a physically superior enemy because he outsmarted them.

The whole behaviour of the man, his gear, his movement gave him subtle hints. He couldn't say exactly what, but the man was holding back, waiting patienctly for the right moment. As much as he respected that way of fighting, there was a weakness in it. Sure he hadn't revealed yet what trick he had up his sleave, but at least it was obvious he had one. He wanted Abyss to attack him, so he could land a counter attack that probably would be devastating. So Abyss did what he had to: staying where he was, rasing his fists in a defensive stance. The man wasn't the only one with patience.

Korro was no longer CT-47B's problem. Though his temporary presence had caused the Stormtroopers orderly firezone to descend into unbridled chaos, with super-heated shards of shrapnel sent flying by Korro's second, unexpected detonator having cut deeply into the thick durasteel crates making up his position. As Praetorias was dissected, the Stormtrooper would've been completely unable to assist without risking his own life, instead taking cover behind his thick, disheveled barricade until the explosions from the detonators, and the grinding of metal as Keira entered the fray finally came to an end.

As Praetorias was prone upon the ground, the Stormtrooper would've raised above the barricade once again, the face beneath his expressionless helmet expressing gnarled rage worthy of a Sith, and pulled the trigger of his X-11E sonic rifle. Sending a wave aimed for the cocky jedi Keira's chest (and probably Daxton if he's still hanging about) as the kinetic energy extinguished the flames lighting the hall, once again sending it into complete darkness as the blast gathered up the countless shards of hot shrapnel and sent them heading towards her at a speed equal to that of the rifles blast as the Stormtrooper attempts to even the odds between her and the injured Praetorias.

As the bone shattering, focus disrupting, organ rupturing, eardrum blowing, wave would pass towards her at high speed, filling most of the corridor. CT-47B would duck down, reducing the diameter of the weapon to 50cm to avoid hitting Praetorias if he is forced to fire during the oncoming duel.

Fire may have been the Jedi's ally, but the Dark Side of the Force was Carnifex's. Ever an on-his-feet strategist, the Dark Lord conjured another bubble that would shield himself and his slicing spike from damage despite the bubble being of a smaller design. The nanites that had been downloaded into the room's electronics did their best to form a protective barrier around the drives of the various terminals they had managed to infect in the few microseconds before the Jedi had managed to set off her trap, albeit a paltry one at that. Not only was the concussive force and inferno unleashed by her explosives ultimately pointless thanks to his bubble's protectiveness against extreme temperatures and minor concussive forces rendering any harm she attempted to inflict on him entirely moot. But then again, if was not him that the trap was aimed against but the computer systems which he coveted. Luckily his microscopic contraptions allowed him to salvage something from the wreckage, and the Jedi's continued usage of her A.I would prove to be her undoing.

Because she had only used her gadgets to protect herself from physical contamination, and not wireless contamination, it allowed the nanites to use the window they had utilized to hyjack onto the artificial intelligence in an attempt to leech data that the A.I had already collected to continue without much hindrance. Perhaps if the Jedi had activated some sort of signal scrambler in conjunction with her physical shield, she might have completely blocked the Dark Lord from initially slicing into her systems with his electronic and Dark Side combination. Alas, no such cunning was displayed. By the time the Jedi actually noticed that her countermeasures had failed it would probably be too late, as the dark malignancy he employed would have been working overtime ever since he first deployed it.

The Dark Lord let the flames die down before lowering his protective bubble, and with a raise of his hand he summoned forth the computer drives that had been shielded by thick layers of nanites when the explosives detonated. Not all survives, and those that did had partial damage inflicted upon them which had rendered portions of their data corrupted and lost. Still, there was enough here to make this venture somewhat worthwhile. Now all that was left was to return the way he had come, and truly bring ruin to those who stood against him. With his right hand he took hold of the spike and tore it free from the metal it was embedded in. He secured both the spike and the data drives in a satchel secured around his waist that was equally as protected as his armor was, and secured it by engaging mechanical locks built into the fabric.

The Sith Lord reactivated his lightsaber, and turned towards the exit to stride out of the remaining flames like a monstrous visage of hate.

 

[Darth Veles]

Location: Hallway
Objective: Jump into the fray!

Explosions and other telltale sounds of battle grew closer, too much for Veles’ comfort as evidenced by a concerned frown slowly seeping into his expression. Before the Sith Lord finished downloading the precious research stored within the computers, another powerful presence had joined the fray, accompanied by a deafening screech of metal. It was only a matter of time before the enemy made it past the single gunner posted outside; unwilling to turn this room into a battlefield, Veles turned towards the entrance, observing the stormtrooper fire at the newest threat, knowing what had to be done. Two slow-paced steps brought the Mon Cal closer to the doorframe leading into the dark corridor, almost as dark as the power coursing through the Sith Lord’s veins.

Fighting in this tight, enclosed space was not beneficial to the Makashi practitioner, thus he had decided to take the fight to another place, as far from the research labs as possible. Naturally, the sizable hanger proudly volunteered to host the fight - provided Veles succeeded in his endeavours. Then again, not many could fight against an opponent that did not exist.

Draped in the cloak of invisibility once more, hidden from natural sight and the Force, Veles soundlessly raced to the armoured figure across the sprawled debris dotting the floor. The speed at which he hurled himself through the corridor wasn’t entirely reasonable – but what else to expect from a Force-enhanced cyborg? The Darth very much desired the first attack to be a surprise for the female-shaped combatant while she focused on another, the option of catching her off guard while she happened to be distracted was simply too tempting to pass! Several pieces of what used to be a small ship successively rose above the damaged metallic floor and flew towards the armoured opponent like oversized projectiles, whizzing through the air one after another. Whether it merely distracted the woman or actually hit her - Veles did not care, satisfied either way.

In that moment, amphibious Sith finally let go of the taxing stealth technique and revealed himself to the naked eye – not that it helped that much in the lightless corridor, him being a figure covered in black apparel. Both hands reached out, wielding an unseen mass of telekinetic energy he had summoned through the Dark Side’s might and his own will, and released this invisible wave against his opponent’s body in a valiant effort to unclog this overpopulated hallway.

 

[Matreya]

Location: Storage (droids) --> Computer Room

With more stuff now in tow, Valashu went back the way he came, leaving down the hall back to the hangar. A repeat of the telekinetic throw sent this bag also sailing toward the ship he arrived in. Next he turned toward the nearest door he had originally planned to enter.

Launching down this hall, he flew into what obviously was a computer room, though whether it was a control room he didnt know. There were others present, but he ignored them and dashed straight for the nearest com. Drawing from his belt a SARRAH databank, he hooked her up and immediately the slicer AI began decoding encryptions then moving toward downloading as much present data as could be held.

 

[Jericho]

Location: Room 3

Jericho's attack was easily stopped and caught showing just how strong the Sith really was. The monster sized sith raised his hand and unleashed a powerful strike of lightning to his chest, a direct hit. But as the sith would see, he was dealing with a sith hunter who has seen more than his fair share of battle as well and felt his fair share of lightning, he didn't like the feeling to say the least. So his extra shielding and armor did that for him, the monstrous lightning were merely sparks to what gear he had. It was then the warrior would aim a flare of fire to the monsters eyes and use the close range they were at to his advantages would raise his golden blade aimed to pierce his lower ribs.

Location: Hallway outside the hanger

Objective: Now it becomes fun

Arancus left the situation which meant all that was left were these insignificant worms and with no one Arancus had to put on a serade for, she did not have to play a lowly Acolyte. Sadly, she had not tapped into her full power, this body was restricting and needed time for her to access her full power, but one ability she had master of regardless. The hall filled with explosions and plasma and Arancus was enveloped leaving the two worms a false sense of security.

She closed his eyes under the mask as she tapped into the Force and began to bend it to her will. Harnessing the particles of of the explosions she looked to where the lizard was running and smiled. She found the strain of this ability to pull on her greatly, this cursed body was becoming insufferable. Unable to concentrate all the explosion she merely casted it off, but launched a ball of concentrated fire at the ship the lizard was running to and bringing it to an explosion to destroy the ship.

Arancus smiled at her destruction, but under the smile was pain. While she had full control of this wretched body, her mastery in the Force and this body's ability to handle it was very off. It was clear she not only needed to hold back for the purpose of the mask, but also to not destroy herself once again. Now was not the time to access her ability, she had some worms to kill.

She moved through the hallway which was surprisingly holding up well to everything going on. Her robes were mostly burnt away from the attacks, but her armor had a bit of an extra shine to it. Through her mask she looked at the lizard who was fleeing then the bounty hunter. "It is not polite to turn your back on the enemy. Remember, you chose to be here, you chose to fight, and now, you chose to die. Face your death honorably and face me. I promise to make it quick, but not painless." She ignited her two lightsabers which crimson blades pierced the air and reflexed even brighter from the fires burning all around them. While she looked composed and powerful, underneath her armor she was feeling the effects her mastery was having on her body making this a pretty fair fight.

 

[Matreya]

Location: Computer Room

While explosions rang deftly in the distance, Valashu remained inside the room that his mission was currently entailed. He knew that information about such a massive weapon would be a great asset. How did such a super weapon work? What let it sustain itself? If he could garner blueprints or something else, he could attempt to replicate it.

Even if he didn't gather blueprints, anything could be useful. Hel, even a minor history of this Sith sect would be useful. Where did they get resources for this weapon? Why did they manage to make it, with none available of its craft? The questions needing answers were many.

Readying for opposition, Valashu knocked an arrow against his bow's cable, then glanced toward the comouter. 47% downloaded.

 

[Causstik Rahn]

Location: Hangar
Objective: Escape the Omega

Causstik watched as Adson's ship burned. Fool, we are going to die here now! The voices in his head were becoming insufferable. He turned to face the Sith. If Adson could patch into one of the enemy Rogue Sith ships they could still escape. Hopefully he had the Launch codes... "Very well Dar'jetti," Causstik hissed then turned to face the creature. "It will be an honor to kill you in the name of Mand'alor!" Causstik stood his whole 7 feet and shed his dura-steel plate. Muscles rippling in the glistening fire light of Adson's burning ship Causstik looked at the Sith. He grabbed a double bladed vibro-staff off a near by dead soldier and charged the Sith, staff spinning in hand. "DIE!" His 'Doshan war cry sounded of raking leaves.

 

[Alyona Volkovna (Алёна)]

Location: ROOM 1 (HANGAR BAY)

The blue canal of hyperspace shimmered all around her through the transparasteel canopy of her X-wing. Friendly forces present in over Castameer had transmitted messages regarding the open hangar and coordinates to its location. Alyona had been waiting, with others, in nearby space, prepared to jump into the system and assist with the destruction of the station as needed and that time had come. She didn't know why she had volunteered, tearing herself away from the relative peace that was Yutan in the wake of the Republic's collapse. War against a rising Sith was the last thing they should be involving themselves in, though the defense of the Republic's people didn't end with the government, and these Rogue Sith had proven themselves to be nothing if not a threat to all those who valued life. As such, she had given herself no choice, and with Ylva's leave Alyona joined the ranks of those standing against the Rogue Sith and the technological terror they had constructed. She carried little with her, hardly even a plan, but she knew others would be there, doing what they could to see to the station's end. It was her intent to join them.

Suddenly, the proximity alarms began to sound, and Alyona's X-wing dropped out of hyperspace, careening through the open hangar doors at great speed. Panic shot through her and Alyona slapped the emergency release for her restraints as the canopy popped open with a phiss. The Jedi woman leaped from the flying vehicle and into the air, tucked and flipping end over end. The X-wing continued on its path, its automated systems decelerating the starship with emergency thrusters. Alyona unwound herself and landed with a thudhup on the deck plating, her lightsaber in hand as she continued her landing forward in a roll and coming up with her back against a pile of durasteel crates. She watched her fighter park itself some distance away, with less than a meter to spare between itself and the far wall of the hangar. "Too close," she muttered to herself, releasing the breath she'd been holding. Alyona held her presence closely to herself, emanating a soothing aura that reflected her emotional balance and would help prevent her detection by other Force Users from distance. She would be a light breeze, felt, but disregarded.
The hangar itself was not as quiet as Alyona's inner mind, unfortunately. Some ways off, a brown-cloaked man wearing a circular-shaped headpiece was locked in battle against a dark-robed man who's nose had just been broken. Electrical energies boiled through the air between them here and there as they sought to destroy one another. The only thing Alyona wanted to destroy was the station itself, though she had not forgotten the lives aboard it.
They know why they're here, Alyona reminded herself. She slipped out from behind the crates as an armored man handed something to a Trandoshan before returning to an access port nearby. The Trandoshan turned and moved toward a nearby ship and the human began typing away at a datapad attached to the access port. She wondered what the human gave the Trandoshan and if they may have been attempting to secure with data on the station for its replication or ruin.
As Alyona trotted quietly toward the near wall of the hangar, where several doorways led to other parts of the station, she drew her datapad and began scanning the local area. Her sensors didn't penetrate very far though she did pick up large energy spikes in the areas beyond. The tumultuous sense she picked up on in the currents of the Force led her to assume a great deal of fighting was already underway, something which did not surprise her in the slightest. Always seeking to control, she thought of both sides. There were a deal of different stations beyond the doors, though the directory she was able to download from the nearest access terminal told her little. The man nearby hadn't noticed her yet, and did not emanate a nefarious sense about him. Even so, Alyona had managed to collaborate productively with Dark Siders before, reminding her suddenly of [member=Ashmedai]. Alyona decided she had little to risk by approaching the man.

She did so quickly and obviously, stepping out from behind a set of nearby storage crates with her hands held out from her sides and her lightsabers attached to her belt. "You, sir, please." Alyona called, hoping to get his attention amicably. "I'm a Jedi, I don't want to fight necessarily." She admitted her motivations swiftly, hoping to assuage any worry and give both parties ample time to consider their options should it be revealed they had opposing goals. "I'm here to help destroy the station, if you're of the same mind then maybe I can help. If not, we've got a fight on our hands, I'm sure." She jerked her chin back toward the man, yielding the verbal floor for the moment and keeping her hands where they were; in plain sight.

Well, his attempt to crush the Mandalorian hadn't exactly worked, but he hadn't really expected it to. It was a large ship, and moving it like he had was going to draw enough attention that most people would be able to get out of the way. It did, however, serve to disrupt the fire that was being thrown in his direction for a few moments, which was enough time for him to switch out a sword for his lightsaber. Yes, it was still a close quarters weapon and he wasn't in a close quarters fight, but a lightsaber blade had other uses besides cutting off limbs or punching holes through armor. One of which being the deflection of blaster bolts.

For a few moments there was relative silence between them. The Mandalorian had moved, of that he was certain. Now it became a game of how to properly take care of this situation rather than simply sitting about and throwing large objects at him. Incidentally, that did give him an idea of what to do. The broken starfighter had provided a myriad of smaller projectiles, which would be far easier to control. It was a veritable armory of shrapnel.

Before he could make a move on it, though, the blaster fire opened up again. Prolific and concentrated at that. In fact he noticed that the crate next to him was getting rather warm, and the metal itself was swiftly turning red. He knew what that meant and ran out into the open, crossing to the downed fighter and ducking behind a ruined piece of hexagonal solar panel covered wing which he easily fit behind, despite it being damaged. Of course, as he'd run he'd kept his saber position to deflect any shots that might come at him. He wasn't good enough at it to send them back at the Mando, but he could at least redirect them away from himself.

Once under cover, he took a risky glance out at where the Mando had ducked into a doorway. He was still focused on taking out that sonic gun, and he figured he'd have a better chance of doing that with smaller ammunition than the big things he'd been trying to use. The pieces of debris from the downed fighter ought to do the trick, so he picked up a handful with the Force and flung them at the Mandalorian, hoping that at least one of them might do something, so that he wouldn't have to worry about that particular gun, and could engage the man in close range combat without having to worry about a sonic hole getting punched through his chest.

Location: Computer Room

Val at this point was leaning against the computer desk; he had simply nothing more to do. At this point he had been here for several moments, downloading data, ready for battle if it was to come his way. Though by this point he wasn't sure it would. Everyone was doing their own thing, ignoring him entirely. So he took the time to breathe, to recuperate and charge back the energy from the Force he had already used. It was not as much as some, but it was definitely notable.

"Well, this is boring." Terrence said, his second in command was always able to speak to him, via the comlinks they used. He also was notorious for stating the obvious.

"Yup." Valashu said, glancing down at the computer again: 93% downloaded. Almost complete.

 

[Nefertari Sovint]

[member="Cathbodua"] had apparently gone off to do her own thing, so Nefertari continued with Rylan to the computer room.

"I have a plan, two actually." Nef explained, keeping relatively quiet so as not to alert others to their plan.

"If we can get into the main computer, perhaps something this large and powerful has an auto-destruct. If not, I could possibly manipulate the air supply to make it easier for us to find a way to the nerve centre of this thing. We take that out, it should at least permanently shut the weapon down if not blow it to bits."

Nef quickly peered through the doorway and quickly got out. Hopefully Valashu hadn't spotted her

"Sithspit" she cursed under her breath "It is the same mando from the hangar"

Hopefully things would be different and they could work this out peacefully. Of course, that was likely wishful thinking.

Arancus watched as the two reacted to her attacks. She wondered why the bounty hunter pulled out a barbaric ninja weapon and how she assumed this would be a good tactic against someone with two blades and mandalorian armor. She did see the lizard man as more of an attack. There was passion and complexity in his attacks while the Hunter lacked passion and depth. If one was not going to put forth any effort, why put forth effort in the first place? It was much like writing, short sentences do not make a page.

She held one of her blades to her side and the other in front of her in a middle guard. She watched each step and the reaction the floor had to each step. No, his steps did not bend of leave indents, but the ground was covered in ash and dirt. With each step the dirt and ash was kicked up and out away. Using her mind she could get a quick, but rough calculation that would help her to figure out the Lizard's speed and predict it's movements. Once he was within range, Arancus used her saber guard to counter the attack, but pivoted around to avoid the other side of the staff. As she spun she brought her other saber around with her to use the momentum and slash at the Lizard's back.
