Discussion Favorite Moment In Star Wars

Too many to list but here’s some off the top of my head that stick out:

  • The genuine fear in Maul’s voice as he is captured by Ashoka And Rex.
  • The finale of Clone Wars Season 7
  • The entire pod-racing sequence in Episode I
  • The Duel of Fates
  • Vader’s hallway scene
  • Luke’s hallway scene
  • Maul’s hallway scene
  • The entirety of Andor (seriously I can’t praise this show enough, peak Star Wars in my opinion)
  • Specifically from Andor however I’d say Luthen’s speech about sacrifice or him revealing his betrayal to Saw are both massive highlights
  • In the same vein Mon Mothma’s “my politics are too strong” speech

I've been into all pieces of Star Wars media (movies, shows, games, books, comics, etc.), so here goes:

Movies:
1. Anakin storming the temple. Wish we could have got to see Cin Drallig's last stand in that scene, or some more of that sequence, but the scenes we have of the Jedi Temple during Order 66 are amazing.
2. The High Ground.
3. The DEFINITIVE hallway scene, from Rogue One.
4. Luke's training on Dagobah. I just like it.
5. "No, I am your father."
6. The Final Duel and ending of RotJ.
7. Luke and R2-D2's scene in the Millenium Falcon in TLJ. I'm not a big fan of anything sequel trilogy, but this was the best scene in the whole thing. Enough to make a grown man cry.

TV Shows (I haven't finished 2008 Clone Wars yet):
1. Anakin vs. Ventress in 2003 Clone Wars.
2. Tech's sacrifice in TBB season 2 finale.
3. Obi-Wan Kenobi's finale. The whole thing.
4. The entire Rebels season 2 finale, parts 1 and 2.
5. Obi-Wan vs. Maul in Rebels season 3. Peak Star Wars.
6. Kanan's sacrifice in Rebels season 4. Second best death in Star Wars, ever.
7. Kino Loy saying, "I can't swim," in Andor. That hit hard.
8. Literally everything with Cara Dune in Mandalorian.
9. Luke's hallway scene in The Mandalorian season 2 finale. Chills, every time.
10. Ahsoka vs. Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka episode 4. That duel was the best Disney-era duel to date.
11. Every frame of Ahsoka that Anakin is on-screen.

Games:
1. The plot twist in KotOR.
2. Saving Bastila from the dark side on the Star Forge. I really enjoyed that. (I went for the romantic plotline, and I loved the culmination of that.)
3. So far, Cal Kestis has been great, and I'm not even nearly halfway done with Fallen Order. But I have seen the cutscene where Boba Fett chooses not to fight him. That was cool.
4. Both endings in Force Unleashed, and almost every boss in that game was great.

Books:
1. The plot twist and ending of "Kenobi" by John Jackson Miller were both peak Star Wars moments/
2. "Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor" was an amazing book, but particularly the parts where Matthew Stover continues elaborating on Luke Skywalker and what he finds to be 'the darkness' were great moments, and those parts were my favorites.
3. Anakin reuniting with Obi-Wan in "Brotherhood" by Mike Chen.

Comics:
1. Mara Jade's death. #1 best and #1 most emotional death in Star Wars, canon or Legends (besides maybe Anakin/Vader).
2. Luke with his yellow lightsaber in Star Wars (2020). That was epic.

That's all I can think of for now. I may return here for more, especially once I've seen The Clone Wars all the way through.
