Production: Limited; First Order

Material: Durasteel hull, Alusteel frame.

Classification: Bomber

Length: 18m
Height: 9m
Width: 12m

Armament: Rating 12
2 Laser Cannons
2 Proton torpedo launchers (4 each)
2 Proton bomb bay (8 bombs)

Defense: 12
Standard Fighter Armor

Squadron Count: 8

Special Features:
Increased Bomb Capacity

Manoeuvrability Rating: 7
Speed Rating: 6
Hyperdrive Class: 1

Strengths:
[+] Bombs Away: This heavy bomber is fearsome over any city, she was made to instil fear into the hearts of those who would be crushed beneath the First Order’s boots.

Weaknesses:
[-] Vulnerable: Because she is slower, the Reign not only requires an escort but is vulnerable to anti-air and other cannon fire from enemy fighters given that she is not nearly as maneuverable as her allies.
[-] Inaccuracies: The Reign was more or less built for carpet bombing and not necessarily bombing other vessels in the abyss of space. Even so, her air to ground bombing accuracy is terrible - and in most cases, she misses her targets.

Description: Created as an answer to those who would dare strike at the First Order. The Reign was created in the aftermath of the Ssi-Ruuk’s would be invasion. A bomber that would be capable of bending cities and worlds to the First Order’s will. The Reign was created as a joint project between the Starfighter Corps and the Navy. The idea was to create a vessel that put quantity over quality. The Reign would only be used when necessary and it is not advised to use her for space bombing campaigns as she would never be able to reach her targets.

It’s a gamble for the First Order to even consider the Reign, but given her unique capabilities, the Reign has been limited in her production.

Development Thread: If Necessary

Intent: To create a bomber akin to the old bombers from the Second World War, to aid in the First Order’s quest for glory.

Not entirely, [member="Ludolf Vaas"]. I have an upgrade for the Stormtrooper's in the pipeline, but I was thinking that this would be our version of the Imperial Army Trooper Armour.

[member="Torian Pierce"] Ah, I see. Well basically, the Stormtroopers are the entirety of our Army, so to speak. We currently don't use any units other than Stormtroopers and their various specializations. Now, if you would like to create some "regular" Army units, I'm open to that discussion.

Maybe later on down the road, when my mind's not pulled in every direction! lol. If Stormtroopers compromise the entirety of the Army, I can set about making this the "Lighter" variant for Planetary Garrisons and Tropical Worlds.

60 Point Defense Cannons

Defences: Rating - 12
Standard Station Shielding
Long Range Communication Array
Retractable Autoblasters (150)
Retractable Turadium Barricades (Emergency Defense)

Hangar: 8 Squadrons

Garrison: 2 Platoons

Special Features: Listed As;

  • The Listening Post - Takes up Sections A and B, housing First Order Security Bureau agents, Naval Intelligence, Cryptologist and other intel/security related officers, non-commissioned officers, the enlisted and contracted workers. The Listening Post is the most notable feature with the prominent satellite that sits on the top of the stem, this satellite enables the Listening Post to active a long range communication array which enables the station to actively listen to both allied and enemy communication, but at a depreciating rate of return.

  • The Combat Information Center - Takes up Section C, this is where combat for the sector is monitored and coordinated from. The Command Center, housed in Section D rounds out the CCC, or the Combat Command Center where tactical, security and strategic operations officers work together to ensure the safety and defense of First Order space. The CCC also houses station security, sector patrol coordination and starfighter corps command operations for the station and the surrounding sector.

  • Residential Rotunda - There are several Rotundas throughout a Galidraan-class space station, there is Rotunda Epsilon, Rotunda Indigo and Rotunda York. Each one takes up two sections, and houses civilians, officers, non-commissioned officers, the enlisted and other personnel who will be residing on the station. Each Rotunda also offers amenities to those who reside here including, hygienic care centres, laundry services, fitness facilities and holofilm theatre suites.

  • Promenade - There are exactly two promenades, one in the upper portion of the stem and the other in the lower. Each one houses a commissary, recreational lounges and other businesses that are contracted to serve the First Order and her citizens. A promenade takes up exactly two sections.

  • Engineering - Perhaps the largest portion on any given station, engineering takes up seven sections. Engineering his housed in the base of the stem going up. Engineering is also where parts for the station and ship repair are housed, manufactured and fabricated.

  • Shipyards - Not so much external as it is internal, capable of housing most corvettes and frigates, the shipyard can service two-three vessels depending on their size. Equipped with worker drones and a droid workforce, FOCIE can make repairs to even the largest of Star Destroyers, although those ships would have to stay parked outside of the station.

  • Medical - Taking up four sections, the medical sections of the station are generously equipped to serve the needs of the population surrounding the station, as well as, First Order personnel.

  • Logistics - Takes up two sections, and primarily houses the cargo and loading bays with smaller offices for logistics management throughout each section.

  • The Hangar - Takes up six sections, and isn’t just the hangar, this also includes the flight deck, a tower control centre and fighter maintenance bays.

  • Sector Traffic Control - Another two sections devoted to maintaining sector traffic, with at least half of it devoted to just traffic around the station. This section coordinates heavily with the Starfighter Corps.

  • Stormtrooper Garrison - Room enough to keep a minimum of two platoons, the Garrison features a blaster range, combat training, leadership training and other Imperial Army educational facilities to keep the men and women on their guard.

Maneuverability Rating: 20
Speed Rating: 20

Hyperdrive Class: 1

Strengths:
[+] Sector Anchor: As a sector anchor, the Galidraan-class station is a focal point. It is where each sector's fleets are based out of, where their brass is and where they come home to. They'll resupply, rest and recover here at these stations between patrols and assignments.

[+] Rallying Point: This is the rallying point for each sector and all the systems that belong to said sector, vessels, troops and other military equipment and personnel will come to the sector station should a wide invasion occur to help repel the would-be invaders.

[+] Coordination: Sector traffic control is housed here, giving this station the ability to coordinate with the Navy within the sector, assuming these ships are within range.

Weaknesses:
[-] Bullseye: The Galidraan without a doubt is a huge target, just due to the sheer size alone, this means it will be the target and focal point for attacks and would-be invaders.

[-] Multiple Entries: Unfortunately given the importance of the station, there are multiple entry points leaving the station vulnerable to invaders and those who are able to sneak aboard, who can do a lot more damage from the inside than they can out.

[-] Subterfuge: Given that a station of this magnitude and size is what it is, those who are willing, may find a way onto the station in a number of ways and sabotage her defenses from the inside and possibly get to several key areas without ever being noticed.

[-] Hackable: The Galidraan-class station being that six were made, all have similar if not the exact same type of coding, crack one station and you've cracked six stations and can possibly bring down six sectors, which would leave the First Order Navy even more vulnerable to attack.

[-] Explosive Engines: With seven sections worth of engines, one well-placed shot through the exhaust will cause a domino effect of explosives, wrecking the station from the inside out.

[-] Expensive: The Galidraan is not without it's costs, this station alone has stretched the First Order's resources to the brink, there can never be, nor will there ever be a project of this magnitude and scale attempted, ever again.

Description: After Castameer, the First Imperial Navy had to take a long hard look at its own defences and their naval capabilities. With two stations already under construction and a third on the way, the Galidraan-class station was built to serve as a sector anchor. With that said, the construction already done now had to be undone and reorganised elsewhere. Given the massive proportions of the Galidraan, there will only ever be six of these sector anchors built.

Should the need arise to have another sector anchor built, the First Order will create a smaller station in its place. The project dubbed Project Kalast has already fallen behind schedule twice and is pushing to try and finalize specifications very soon. Admiral Fiolette Yvarro, Grand Moff Natasi Fortan, Captain Nils Brenner and Senior Chief Petty Officer Jennifer Rennic have all been heavily involved in the Galidraan’s final specifications.

These sector anchors are large, cities in space, capable of resupplying, various fleets assigned to the sector. And to do speed the production on at least one of these stations, FIS Hexham and FIS Merton will be decommissioned and their parts sent closer to Dosuun where the FIS Avalonia is to be built. The FIS Kuragin is well underway, and the other stations are as follows: FIS Levinson, FIS Grantham, FIS Carmichael, and the FIS McGovern.

Development Thread: Yes | First Order: Primo Victorian [Development]

Intent: To create a military station that the First Order can modify and deploy when necessary within its territories.

Hyperdrive Class: 2

Strengths:
[+] Disabled: Armed with Ion Torpedoes the Conyers-class can disable most enemy vessels giving herself time to flee the system or provide a much-needed opening to allied vessels.

[+] Senses: Given her role as a science frigate, the Conyers-class comes with an uprated MDA (Multi-Directional Array) as seen on the Raptor-class Assault Frigate. In addition, she is equipped with planetary scanners.

Weaknesses:
[-] Lightly Armed: The Conyers-class is lightly armed and not meant to see a real battle, if it does - she can only disable a vessel and not destroy it. She has enough guns to defend herself with and that's about it.

[-] Slower: With a Class 2 hyperdrive the Conyers-class is slower than most vessels of her type, meaning it would take her longer to reach her destination than other ships of her type.

[-] Redundant: Much like the Fortan-class, the Conyers is equipped with a redundant shield system, however; just like the Fortan. The Shield generators sit right beside the engine room, a well-placed shot could disable the Conyers quite easily.

[-] Reload/Recool: Both her rapid-fire turbolasers and ion torpedoes take time to reload, with rapid-fire needing a full thirty second cool down before rapid-fire can begin again. The ion torpedoes need forty-five seconds to reload before firing again.

Description: First Order Division of Science was looking for a line of vessels in which to conduct its own scientific scans and studies, while they’ve been able to work with several vessels that have been on loan from the First Order Navy. FODOS was looking for something more specific, Primo Victorian took the contract and created the Conyers-class. Named for one of the Mathematicians within First Imperial space, the Conyers-class comes equipped with several state of the art laboratories and has been outfitted to survive up to six months at a time in deep space. This allowed the First Order Navy to consider the creation of the First Order Exploration Command, and the duties that would come with being part of this prestigious group of scientists, engineers, and explorers.

While actual exploration cruisers are still in the blueprint stages the Conyers-class science frigate is the first step toward a more peaceful outlook on life in space. The Conyers is to be produced in minor quantity at Cloud City Imperial Shipworks at Coveway, Tokmia, Keskin and Virgilia.

Intent: To create a ship dedicated to science for my navy commander to choose from, and to diversify the First Order navy.

Description:

Intent: Historically the Fury-class Interceptor was a transport vessel for prominent Sith Warriors and Inquisitors. In the same way, the First Order hopes to emulate this by recreating a slightly larger variant of the vessel. The Furious-class Kyber Corvette. A small, agile vessel with the added benefit of Kyber-crystals giving the small ship a boost to her weapons systems. The vessel much like her predecessor serves the nation’s force users, only instead of the Sith, the Furious-class is built with the Ren in mind. Built with a meditation room, storage for artefacts, and workbench the vessel is ready for the Knights of Ren.

The First Order Corps of Imperial Engineers needed no outside help for this, they turned to the First Imperial Archives buried deep beneath Avalonia to retrieve the blueprints of the Fury. From there they turned the Fury into the Furious only now the vessel was larger, bore the First Order’s emblem and was built to work with the Ren and not the Sith. The Kyber-line of vessels comes uniquely equipped with additional communication channels built for the Knights.

Additionally, the Furious comes equipped with four viper-class imperial probe droids to enable the Knight or Knights to conduct their mission with as much efficiency as possible. The Hangar is also equipped with two speeder bikes and a small workshop (where the workbench is located) to enable the Knight to get to where they need to go on the ground as quickly as possible.

While the Furious is not as fast as her predecessor might have been, the idea was to develop a Corvette that would perform the functions that the Knights of Ren needed her to perform, and the FOCIE believe that the Furious is more than capable of doing so.

Description: The Ingham-class was developed as a quick extraction vessel, equipped with a heavy plasma laser cutter to enable the ship to cut through debris enabling her crew to rescue whoever needed to be rescued. The ship was not created to have much teeth as this is a risk her crew will take while embarking on a mission. Bolt-class and perhaps even Steadfast-class vessels will be able to carry her, although such modifications have yet to be done past the blueprint stages. Given her size and the amount of equipment necessary to create her, the First Order Navy has approved the Ingham-class to be mass produced to enable the FOASG a more efficient live rescue rate.

Hey, can someone tell me if these ratings seem alright for the amount of guns I've got on the ship? Criticisms encouraged.

[member="Lara Andar"] - Looks good so far, especially the Linebreaker angle.

I think you could get away with bumping up the armament rating by a point or two, so you can add some Concussion Missile Tubes, probably some Energy Projectile Launchers, or even Gravity Mine Launchers for some interesting addition to your tactical playbook.

With your defense rating at 15, I think the skeletal frame of the ship should be made of Alusteel instead and the exterior plating be made of a Durasteel-Titanium composite. In addition, I'd suggest moving the Point Defense Guns into the Defense's section, along with adding lots of Antimissile Octets as well. They'd help out in dealing with any pesky close range munitions and hostile starfighters with your Brawler.

That's just my quick two cents before crashing, so if you'd like more - I can see about putting some serious thought into it at a later date. :)

I'm going to claim a canon company when the factory comes back up, so in the meantime I've been messing around with an idea for a ship. I made sure to use established ships and scale the features down to ensure the features of this ship are possible. Also, I'm working on some new armour that uses duranium, a slightly lightsaber-resistant material that is not restricted.

Maximum Crew: 37,085 (Including Officers and Crew)
Passenger(s): 9,700 (Stormtroopers)
Cargo Capacity: 36,000 Metric Tons
Consumables: 2 years
Strengths:

  • Multi-role Star Destroyer: The Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer is a versatile vessel that can serve both as a Destroyer and Transport depending on its deployment environment, complement and operational demands. While not as heavily armed as the X-Class Star Destroyers, it also features a significantly larger complement of transport and fighter craft which make it a more suitable alternative for planetary assault when compared to either the Imperial X-Class or Victory X-Class. In its role as a Destroyer, it has a high top speed and is heavily armed enough to take on virtually any belligerent vessel. The Imperial I-Class can also yet go toe-to-toe with modern cruisers and star destroyers thanks to its upgraded armor, shields, truss frame, sensors and armament which while aging is still potent, largely thanks to its devastating Ion Cannon and Turbolaser batteries.

  • Cost and Resource Efficient: The Imperial-I Class Destroyer with the BLOCK II upgrade package can be purchased for roughly one-third of the cost for a new Imperial-X Class Star Destroyer. It also requires significantly less Thorilide when compared to newer Star Destroyers reducing the maintenance and upkeep of the vesssel, Thorilide is a key and highly valuable component for the Shock Absorbers in Turbolaser batteries. Making it a superior strategic weapon in a full-scale war where resource management and investment is key. Partially scrapped or damaged Imperial-I Class Destroyer can also be repaired and upgraded quicker than an Imperial-X Class Destroyer can be constructed.

  • Silhoutte Fear: The Imperial-I and Imperial-X Class Destroyers are incredibly similar in design, a cursory scan or visual analysis from a great distance might lead opposition forces to assume the vessel is an Imperial-X Class Destroyer and so flee in fear rather than risk facing the Destroyer and finding out the lethal way which class the vessel is.

  • Ion Cannons: Ion Cannons are devastating weapons against hostile warships, they are frightening efficient albeit short range for space combat and possess the ability to disable the target vessel completely for several minutes by short-circuiting all emergency circuit breakers and electronic systems. It is a little forgotten weapon that is incredibly effective at deterring close-range assaults on the destroyer by other capital ship classes or significantly smaller vessels including cruisers, frigates and corvettes, however like the Turbolasers they are ineffective against fighter craft and a target vessel needs to receive a large concentration of Ion fire before being disabled completely.

Weaknesses:

  • Low Manoeuvrability: The Imperial-Class Star Destroyer features low manoeuvrability thanks to its sheer weight and inertia, while it possesses good acceleration and speed the Destroyer struggles to turn tight circles meaning combat is best engaged in at range and preferably where the Destroyers' axis of advance is facing the enemy and the Destroyer is placed at the same height or below the opposition.

  • Lack of Aft Weaponry: Weaponry aft of the Bridge and engines is non-existent and renders the Destroyer completely vulnerable from flanking manoeuvres, a severe disadvantage in naval knife fights where small, agile and heavily armed ships can inflict serious damage to the helpless Destroyer.

  • Exposed Bridge: BLOCK II upgrades do include a new deflector shield system while retaining the old one providing redundancy, nevertheless. The prominent shield generators and sensor domes make for easy targets and can be destroyed and strip one layer of shields away from the Destroyer as the Domes themselves are not shielded but create a local area-effect around the bridge and aft sections of the ship. Without shields the bridge is vulnerable to being destroyed, the result of which is loss of control for the crew over the Destroyers’ course which will proceed to drift through space, turn uncontrollably or be pulled into the nearest strong gravitational field.

Description: The Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer is an old and venerable design hundreds of years old albeit a potent one at that. At the Empire's height they fielded 25,000 of these vessels and many of them were destroyed, scrapped, lost and/or retired. In the First Order's early history. It continued to field older Imperial I-Class Star Destroyers but their old armament and sensor suites have aged to the point of being rendered obsolete and so the First Order has initiated an upgrade package of old Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer. The Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer [BLOCK II] is an upgrade package applied to the old Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer to bring them to modern standards and provide the First Order with a vessel that is relatively inexpensive to produce and maintain when compared to contemporary designs which feature excessive turbolaser armaments.

Development Thread: No

Intent: Create an Imperial Star Destroyer variant with a little more in the way of versatility and to better address the sudden increase of enemies the First Order has through resource efficiency and greater production compared to the Imperial X-Class while keeping the X-Class in service for its superior armament layout.

It also possesses a hyperdrive class that allow it to respond timely to any threats within First Order borders or beyond, put on par with the Victory X-class which it is supposed to complement.

  • Point Defence System: The Venator II-class like its predecessor is the bane for fighter craft or missiles which it can target destroy with frightening ease. Making it an ideal vessel to use when blockading a planet or in support to other Star Destroyers or Cruisers which conspicuously lack a comprehensive point defence system, combined with speed. First Order Star Destroyers escorted by Venator II-class Destroyers are virtually untouchable for flanking attacks or surgical bombing which it responds to with a methodical ruthlessness.

  • Fighter Carrier: Venator II-class carries a massive fighter complement which it can use to provide point defence for friendly warships, engage hostile fighters, engage hostile warships or provide atmospheric support. It possesses a limited bomber complement, limiting the damage it can do against hardened installations in low atmosphere or heavily armoured warships.

  • Heavy Shielding: The Venator II-class boasts a considerable Armour layout and can take sustained punishment from vessels that outclass it in terms of armament, offering the ship the endurance necessary to participate in fleet actions alongside newer and more heavily armed Star Destroyers fielded by the First Order. Better yet, the Venator II-Class Star Destroyer possesses an advanced deflector shield generaor, offering it considerable deflector shield strength. This allows Venator II-class ships to flank more powerful, less agile ships while under fire.

  • Numerical Advantage: Venator II-class warships seldom operate alone and are constructed with great speed and reduced cost when compared to other Star Destroyers. The most valuable aspect of a Venator II-class Star Destroyer is the considerable fighter complement. The First Order would prefer to lose the Venator Destroyer than the personnel and equipment aboard it. In a war this also provides the First Order with the strategic capability to quickly respond to incursions into their space, outrun hostile vessels in Hyperspace and overwhelm the enemy through superior manoeuvrability, offering the potential to have eyes and ears everywhere.

Weaknesses:

  • Lightly Armed for a Star Destroyer: The Venator II-class Star Destroyer is hardly a “Star Destroyer” in the literal sense or meets the reputation the formidable vessels have in terms of armament, it is more comparable in destructive potential to a modern heavy cruiser design. As such, alone a single Venator II-class Star Destroyer is fairly unthreatening to a heavily armed Star Destroyer, Battleship and even some Heavy Cruisers. Unless an unfortunate vessel finds itself directly beneath a Venator with a charged ventral turbolaser. It overcomes heavier opponents through superior speed, manoeuvrability and numerical advantage.

  • Limited Expeditionary Capability: The Venator II-Class Star Destroyer carries little in the way of Stormtroopers and heavy equipment when compared to some other vessels in commission with the First Order; it carries no prefabricated base garrison. However, it can deploy a surprising amount of Infantry in support of operation in a short amount of time. Its cargo capacity, on the other hand, shouldn’t be overlooked enough to keep a sizeable brigade of Stormtroopers equipped and fed.

  • Lack of Aft Weaponry: The Great irony of the Venator II-Class Destroyers is they are highly vulnerable to flanking attacks by fast and small craft such as Corvettes and Light Frigates. Although, unlike its larger successor designs, it can usually respond to these threats thanks to a comprehensive point-defence system, considerable fighter complement and hull design. If a capital ship class were to flank a Venator II-Class Destroyer, it would find the drive system and bridge easy targets and deal crippling if not catastrophic damage.

  • Lack of Ventral Weaponry: The Venator II-Class Star Destroyer lacks any weaponry on its ventral surface with the exception of a powerful turbolaser supposed to target hardened defensive positions or capital ships beneath the Star Destroyer as the SPHA turbolaser easily slices straight through deflector shields and heavy armour. Beyond this weapon though, there is nothing. Rendering the Ventral Surface vulnerable to attack from fighter or bomber craft. And here lies a key vulnerability for an enemy familiar with the original design, the Venator’s reactor sits on the port side of the vessel behind a hanger aft of the ship, concentrated heavy damage here on the unshielded hull can breach the reactor and destroy the ship outright.

  • Exposed Bridge: Like most early Star Destroyer designs, the Venator II-Class Destroyer features an exposed bridge which without deflector shields is easily crippled and destroyed. Without a bridge, the Venator cannot operate its ventral, dorsal, port or starboard hangers and navigation system. The Point-Defence system is also disabled with the destruction of the bridge, causing the Destroyer to drift through space, get caught in a turning circle or be attracted to the nearest strong gravitational field where it will crash. Normally in the form of a planetoid.

  • Forward Torpedo Tubes: Because of the Dorsal Hanger’s length, the Proton Torpedos must be kept forward close to their tubes, creating a significant vulnerability in the absence of Deflector Shields. Concentrated fire from heavy turbolasers to this area when unshielded can smash passed the tubes into the Proton Torpedo and cause an explosion, an ammunition explosion like this can tear the bow clean off, rendering the ventral hanger door useless and render the unshielded flight deck vulnerable to attack and boarding. To counteract this, Commanders will usually try to expend their Torpedo supply early in an engagement or boost power to the fore Deflector shields.

Description: The Venator II-Class Star Destroyer is a Versatile and Formidable warship with a design emphasis placed on speed and endurance. The Venator II-Class Star Destroyer boasts impressive suites of point defence weapon systems and an eye-watering complement of Fighter craft. It fills the need for greater point defence capability while delivering an impressive escort for more valuable vessels in the fleet. The Venator II-Class Star Destroyer features an upgraded Hypermatter Annihilation Reactor, accelerating, decelerating and performing manoeuvres impossible for the heavier Star Destroyers. While it has respectable armour and impressive shields, in terms of modern Star Destroyer design it lacks adequate armament. This was a deliberate decision to conserve Thorilide; a crucial component for functioning turbolaser batteries. The Venator II-Class is cheaper to maintain and construct and so deployed in greater numbers to take full advantage of their speed and manoeuvrability.

The Venator II-Class features a new bridge design, with the advent of more advanced communication and information processing technology the two separate bridges have been merged into one sleeker design. The Bridge still features the traditional star destroyer design with the crew working in recesses and the Officer Commanding provided with a panoramic view. Crew amenities are adequate, crew quarters for enlisted personnel are shared. Sacrifices are made in the design in the number of Stormtroopers which can be carried and their support craft. The Venator II-Class cannot store many vehicles with the majority of space taken up by its significant fighter and dropship complement. That said, it can deploy a staggering amount of dismounted Infantry in a small window of time.

Development Thread: If Necessary.

Intent: To provide the First Order Navy with a fast versatile Escort Star Destroyer that also functions as a Fighter Carrier that can be constructed and deployed in great number to support Imperial and Victory Class ships, particularly the latter where the Venator picks up holes in operational capability left by the Victory Class’ design. The Venator also addresses the need for greater representation of Point Defence in First Order task forces.

Who Can Use This: First Order Navy.

Description:
When Max Fel saw the previous First Order Stormtrooper armor, he saw a need for something new. Although traditional Stormtrooper armor means that a blaster shot uncommonly kills, the overall quality and protection still had room for improvement. Searching through his Imperial archives back on Bastion, he took notes on how the Fel Empire managed to protect their troops. The common Mandalorian Steel alloy created by Mandalorian beskarsmiths as an alternative to Beskar inspired Max to search for other metals more obtainable than the rarer types such as Phrik, yet still quality. Duranium was selected as the main material for the armor, which is able to survive a glancing blow from a lightsaber and has good resistance to blaster fire. Furthermore, Thermal Gel padding behind the Duranium, coupled with a combined armorweave and Thermal Gel compression bodyglove improve the already effective protection of traditional Stormtrooper armor. After satisfying Max’s standards, the armor was proposed to the First Order officially and accepted.

I do like that design! And if you made that from scratch it is really impressive. But I think it might be a bit too much of a departure from the First Order Aesthetic, You could upgrade the materials in the present armor but not necessarily change the design, right? I think other than the design it is a good submission! The First Order seem to have an obsession with quality over quantity given the failings of the Empire. They really don't skimp out from what we've seen in the Movies and Cross-section books :)

[member="Max Fel"] Were you still planning on making this, Max? I second 888; good work on the armour, the image is cool but I much prefer the normal FO stormtrooper style. Would be great to have your updated armour, expand on the FO-01 feature set (e.g. with the magboots and jump pack compatibility) and maintain the same look.

Also, it seems like duranium and thermal gel would offer a respectable amount of kinetic protection, at least going by the wiki. Maybe add some duraplast as well?
