I have mentioned them in pretty much every post I have made in this thread without failure. Why wouldn't you say something earlier or anyone else?

Okay guys previously you were supposed to spawn at either start location. Honestly the battle has progressed to the point where it has been RPed with Sith and Republic forces landing pretty much everywhere. If you want to "spawn" somewhere else and start off to get right into the action, feel free to do so.

Just please try to be reasonable with movement between asteroids, if you got an objective or whatever let someone else try to intercept you in space, things like that right? IF you are getting troops to reinforce from one asteroid to another, give folks a chance. We have both Republic and Imperial fleets and pilots out there itching to shoot things down. And frankly it would be awesome to get a dogfight in the asteroid. I know there is a Sith Pilot and plenty of republic ones. You all should @Tag each other and Red Baron it up *nod nod*

To be fair they aren't banned they are "banned" and need to go through the tech forum. They are incredibly rare devices. Either way for this event I'm in charge so unless the thing went through the tech forum no cloaking.

I've never made a statement on cloaking devices so do not say that "all RPJs" say something unless you can back it up.

Very little, actually basically nothing, is banned in the tech forum. Furthermore, the use of pre-existing canon things has always been fine. The factory is for new technology. Building a new ship with a cloaking device causes some looking into, but even then it is not banned. Something old with a cloaking device that can be seen in canon, perfectly fine. Please do not get on people's cases about rules that do not exist.

To be fair, I can point to posts were we've ruled its rare and blah blah blah. thus "banned". Either way for this event if it wasn't approved with cloaking in the factory I don't want it here. That is my ruling when asked about bringing in a cloaked ship an h our after this started.

We even have said that the "dead" technologies can be circumvented with some SERIOUS RPing. So effectively nothing is banned.

As for timing, that's fine. I just dislike hearing blanket statements about rules existing that do not actually exist and are more the opinion/taste of a different RPJ. Opinion is not rule.
