That was... weird.

A pink strange creature had appeared, probably of a species she had never seen. She wasn't even sure what to call it. His way of talking was, however, of a Sith, and so seemed to be his Force signature.

"If I am a sheep, then you are a grass to eat," Lilin joked slightly, just like she used to.

Her weapon was ready to be ignited, but she did not know that the man's armour was lightsaber- and blaster-resistant. Would she have known that, her confidence would have not even been a half of what it was. Her Force powers were not great at all, but that's what's she should have used to defeat the man.

(Lol last I said, he was human in appearance right now. But I'll make it work. No biggie.)

Circling the woman slowly, his antenna swishing and twitching in excitement, Nerius cackled, "Is that so? Some damn powerful grass! Probably the most powerful you will ever see!" Then with that, the Blob lunged forward attempting to slam a fist into the woman's face.

Next, as a follow through, he spun around to bring a powerful backhand at her neck, with a swift roundhouse kick from the opposite leg to follow through. Each move was fluid, seeming so masterfully put together that it was like sun shine reaching to the earth - perfect. Nerius had been taught since nearly birth to be a weapon; even if he had little in the field experience his body could perform the movements with grace.

His opponent by now, if a battle expert, likely had noticed his armor and its make. She may or may not get frightened by the sight, but in the end it meant little as Nerius knew next to nothing in the ways of the Force and had little experience battling. He had a high defense, and a potential regenerative ability. That's it.

Perhaps thankfully for Saiah, there wasn't much of a chance of death, at least at first. This was a hunt, and until they found their prey they would be safe. Well, as safe as a hostile force on an enemy planet. His own ship would descend into the atmosphere. Their destination, a remote village where the rumors of the Iron Strategist were most heavy. The Hand's ship would land near the outskirts in a plain, and stepping out the red man would wait for his apprentice.
Slowly he would pace, ever watchful of the village in the distance. Last thing he needed was for them to come investigating before he wanted them to. Soon the pair of Sith would come for em, but not just this moment.

Oops, I'm so sorry! I must have somehow missed that statement... :p

The girl did see a punch coming and was able to lean backwards to protect herself from it, but the next hit and roundhouse kick were something she did not think would come next and thus, was not able to defend herself against them in any way.

So instead, she fell down on her back. It hurt, but there was no time to think about it at that moment.

Her left hand raised up so that she could attack the enemy with a Force Push right away. Her skills in the Force were not that great, but a power as simple as that was so easy that even she was able to use it.

Hoping the push had had any effects on the man, she stood up and ignited her saber. She was in a stance showing she was ready to fight. And she still had no idea the armour was resistant to the weapon.

Sixteen hundred meters of living ship had 'leaned' back as its entry to the atmosphere of Mayferria now seemed inevitable, and the Sith lady that had commissioned the Aarshlût so long ago moved to languidly lounge about in her living throne, one of thorns. It went without saying that once she sat down the many receptors latched onto her body at various points of her head while she metaphorically became 'one' with the massive vessel. Slowly the massive ship tipped towards the planet and began its true descent, the spine-covered ship lurching once again as hundreds of Yuuzhan Vong on board prepared for the entry within Mayferria's atmosphere, something which Yuuzhan Vong ships were notably more successful with even at the size of destroyers - something which had been capitalized during the extra-galactic war centuries ago. While it was true that the One Sith had been at war with the galaxy at large for the better part of six or seven years, give or take their initial secrecy, but recently she had heard rumblings in the dark recesses of the galaxy that alarmed her.

The One Sith had begun a campaign of peace.

Not the sort of falsehood manufactured through propaganda to the outside world, to the unknowing civilian populace, but an actual and very real bargain for peace in the galaxy - ignoring the Jedi in this context. There were Sith that spoke of their masters and their contemporaries as if they supported the faction of Sith only in name, as to remain unopposed by what was essentially a mob-mentality of righteousness at this point. It had not been so long ago that she had stumbled upon an unknowing Acolyte that had dared to speak of the Dark Lord as if he were simply a fairy tale. Perhaps an exposure of the boy's darkest fears in a very visible, nearly real, experience served to teach him not to mock his betters. Especially not the one Voss Lord that could have simply ripped him from the galaxy without so much as a droplet of sweat. But more alarming than the heresy spoken from the lips of these pretenders was their lack of belief simply in the One Sith itself. They saw it as the Republic saw itself, a massive cesspool of an accumulated amalgam of parts that served no further purpose than to toil about in their own shortcomings. No longer had the grand group she had been recruited into as a child stood as a symbol of power and 'hope' for Sith, simply a nation of dark siders that clamored under the banner of one man, One Sith, and built an empire from it. For a moment she wondered just how much harm the One Sith had done to Sith at large when considering this - much more than the feeble attempts by the Republic and their Jedi order.

'We will be remaining in the upper layer of the atmosphere, no need to worry about the heathens below that cower from our strength.'

The words rang out unspoken, as they had during the invasion of Prakith - a time shortly after her union with the Yuuzhan Vong that had saved her following Empress Teta's invasion by the Mandalorians. Vongsense, they called it, to a degree over the mere 'sensing' of other Yuuzhan Vong, much like the once-famed Hydra Queen - though most certainly not in the manner that the Hydra Queen had commanded legions, Atrophia simply spoke to be heard as her words were no more controlling than a child's when speaking with these pain-loving Yuuzhan Vong. Quietly the Sith lady disengaged from the cognition throne, of which she only made novel use of to direct the ship in a direction that pleased her, and slowly she walked away from the center of the ship towards the location of her personal meditation sphere, something modeled directly after the infamous meditation sphere of Naga Sadow that had coordinated entire fleets over Empress Teta. It was there that the storm would gather and begin to brew.

Soon after the Sith Lord came the Knight. She swooped down into the atmosphere and landed gracefully on the same plain, but at some distance to ensure easier take off. She ordered the droid to stay watchful and keep her posted on anyone snooping around, but not to take actions unless she specifically ordered it to. One had to be clear with droids, lest they over-interpret one’s words and do something foolish. Then, the Rattataki descended from her ship to meet with the Lord Hand and leader of the Assassins. Her eyes grazed over to the village and she made note of their surroundings, as any infiltrator is prone to do.

“Lord Ferus.”

She bowed her head in a minor greeting, he was the higher ranked after all. Hand of the Lord, Leader of Assassins, a Lord of the Sith. A smile spread across her black lips as she greeted the man who had been, and in many ways still was her master. Though Saiah was no longer an Acolyte or Apprentice, she had much to learn from Darth Ferus, and many reasons to remain loyal. Her pale eyes shifted to properly gaze at the distant village.

"Prompt as always. It's what I expect from one such as yourself." A smile formed over his features as he cast a glance to his apprentice. She had grown, even so far as to become one of the Assassins Council members. To most Sith, this may not be too important. To the Sith Assassins however, she was second only to himself, and she had earned it. His golden eyes shifted over towards the village now. Still no sign of detection, which was either good or a trap. Most likely the first, as he expected more aggression from these locals.
"This is a popular spot for the locals to celebrate the Iron Strategist. We're going to burn it down, but not before we get any and all information on the I.S. Be quick, learn from what ever you can, and don't leave witnesses. Understood?"

“Understood”

She returned the smile, all the while looking at the village. She had earned her position within the Assassins by diligence, merit and hard work. It was a big cowl to take on, but she would not allow herself a single thought of doubt. She had accepted a mantle and she would stand by her choice or be crushed under its weight.

“Do we go in quiet, or do you want this to be loud?”

She shifted her pale eyes to look at the Red Assassin and leader of their council. No matter how much she had grown, he still dwarfed her. She would have to grow so much more before she could truly compare herself in stature to the master by her side. Then again, time would tell how far she could reach. As for witnesses, she never left any. At least none that could speak against her. The survivors of her missions saw nothing, but were left only as witnesses to the stories she created. Such was the way of the Pale Assassin. She had no great feats of battle to speak for her, and yet she broke armies and crumbled nations.

Darth Timoris watched as the trolleys were loaded with ore and she couldn’t help herself and walked over and took a piece out to examine it.

She walked to the cave’s entrance, where the light was better. As she held it, she saw it’s colour change. She forced various moods and emotions through her mind by recalling specific memories – in much the same way as she’d take them from someone using the Force.

Anger made the ore turn a cherry red. Happiness turned it orange or finally yellow when she was able to project a specifically happy thought – her win in the Acolyte tournament for example.

When content it shifted between green and blue. The latter more prevalent when she felt secure.

Power and success made the ore colour purple. When she considered death and evil, it turned jet-black. But try as she might, she could not get it to turn white. Perhaps because the associated emotion was not within her?

So she pocketed this particular piece and watched as the troopers led the hoppers out of the cave and towards the waiting shuttles. Finally it was stowed and she walked with her troopers onto their own shuttle. “Take the ore to the Sitherhood space station. We have more to do on this planet. Time has been kind to us – it’s about to be repaid with something that pleases me."

She took the ore out of her pocket. It morphed from green to a darker shade and finally to black. “Oh…the ore has spoken. Death it is then.”

Caught off guard, Nerius was launched into the air, the pressure of the attack knocking the wind from his lungs. Landing in a twisted heap, he moved limbs until he was able to right himself, then with better footing he smiled at the woman, "I will enjoy this. I'm not sure how much you will enjoy it though!"

Reaching for his hip, he popped the clip that held his stolen lightsaber to his belt, and activated it as well. The hum of the vibrant blade whirled through the air, letting the girl know he was prepared to truly fight - not just with fists. Charging after the stare down, he brought the blade in for a double handed over the head strike aiming to cleave her down the middle.

Lilin kept an unshakeable eye contact with the man, trying to focus on what he could do next and how she should be act. It was a difficult thing to actually be in a duel, just one-on-one fighting and nothing else. By so far, she had not seen many people around and so she had huge hopes about the fight. At least a billion Sith wouldn't join the fight this time.

"Then you may have suicidal problems or a strange case of sadistic way of thinking," Lilin replied to the man, hinting to her confidence.

As soon as the man attacked her once again, she moved her saber to parry the attack horizontally, just like she had learned from the basic of dueling. It was a dangerous attack the man had made and she worried a little bit about the outcome of the battle.

After having blocked the hit, she thrust her blade forward, trying to attack the Sith in his stomach. Not that it would have much of an effect on him, anyway.

His blow blocked, Nerius landed, then felt a deep tingling in his senses...

But he was to slow, the counter attack slammed into his chest...and did little other than knock the wind from him as he stumbled back. His opponent would now see the usefullness of his armor!

Pausing a second to take in a deep breath, he then lunged in once again, this time aiming to impale the woman along her chest. Then at the very last moment, he twisted to the side, spun along her side until he could attempt slamming the hilt of his saber into her temple.

Melori headed to the capital city. She was unsure how well they’d progressed against other objectives, but given her precious ore was now off-planet, she focussed on her secondary objective – the Maiden’s Blade tournament.

After a bit of wrangling, she finally was accepted into the draw. There was some technicality about turning up after the tournament had started to contend with – but an opponent had dropped out and so a space had opened up.

So she entered the ring, the troopers now part of the crowd – unaware of who her opponent would be. The public address soon informed her.

“Ladies and gentleman. Due to two unfortunate poisonings, this section of the draw has been opened up. So I present to you Darth Timoris – and against her are…yes, that’s right. Not one, not two but three assassin droids. If this Sith is to progress, she’ll have to overcome our finest to do so.”

Clearly the locals didn’t want her to win!

Fortunately assassin droids are a necessary part of her training. They are programmed to fight to the death. Blasters are built into their chests and hands. Their accuracy is perfect. A miscalculation on her part could be lethal.

She powered up her double-bladed lightsaber. She was outnumbered, but assassin droids can't move as quickly as she could. They cannot jump, and their flexibility isn't as finely tuned.

Although their weaponry makes up for that.

They track her easily in the empty arena, their sensor lights flashing. She meets the first barrage and deflects it with her lightsaber, spinning it in a blur of motion while she tracks the next blaster fire and meets it. She can feel the power of the Dark-side. Aggression fuels it. The darkness throbs furiously, beating in her muscles, making her merciless and effective.

This is what she loves: the feel of the Dark-side of the Force pulsing, growing, until the air crackles with the charge. It is the charge of blood and pain and anger. She controls it. She manipulates it. It only makes her stronger.

The assassin droids are programmed to use complicated fighting strategies. They try a flanking manoeuvre, but she leaps over them, the Dark-side fuelling every muscle, and comes at them from behind. She destroys the first droid to a groan from the crowd as the second and third turn and fire.

Vengeance confident that enough panic and warnings had been given out he started to spirit towards the center of the city. If the Sith were going to secure victory he needed to makes sure the leaders of the city were either subjugated or killed.

Unlike other planets it seemed important to keep at least one high placed native alive to help during the transition. Otherwise he would have just continued the wanton slaughter he loved so much.

That did not mean however that he did not cut down a few dozen guards trying to shoot him with blasters when needed.

That armour was something she had not seen before, so she was a bit confused as to why it hadn't gone through it. Maybe it was made of some lightsaber resistant material? She would have to research these things in the future, she thought.

The next hit was rather surprising for the girl. She wouldn't have expected her temple to be hit with the lightsaber's hilt. As she was trying to strike against the man's blade to avoid being hit in her chest, she was unable to turn her slash around so that she'd protect her head.

The attack hurt, even though it was nothing too fatal. It made her feel slightly uneasy and wanting to throw up, but she tried to hold it in and just take a step back which would make her able to take out her blaster and aim at the man's feet as she understood it was practically impossible to hit anything above that and make it have any effect on the man.

She pulled the trigger in a matter of moments after having pulled out the weapon, hoping she would hit him. Yet her head hurt and as a result, her aim may have been slightly altered.

Melori was already a millimetre away, escaping the fire and twisting to deliver a cleaving blow to the second droid. It topples, its sensor lights still flashing. She buries the other end of her lightsaber in its control panel. It lets out a screech of protest that sounds almost human. Smoke rises and she breathes it in. It is the smell of the Jedi Temple burning. The pleasure of destruction builds, making her blood pound. The baying of the crowd merely increases her pleasure.

The third droid swivels. Instead of coming at her directly, it wheels to the right. She feels a start of surprise. It is a new manoeuvre.
The manoeuvre and the surprise please her. She does a backward somersault as blaster fire pings over her head.

Challenge. That is a cornerstone of Sith training. Her Master always keeps her off balance.

This duel challenges her. The blaster fire is close, closer than she’d like. She can feel the heat on the sleeve of her tunic. She smells singed material. The assassin droid has suddenly flipped sideways and aimed from the chest. She was distracted.

Anger rises in her, which she finds good. The darkness crests and roars. She twists in the air, her lightsaber twirling, revolving. Its balance is perfect in her hand. She strikes one hard blow to the left flank of the droid. She feels the power of the move reverberate all the way to her shoulder. It gratifies her. The other blow to the right follows a fraction of an instant later, so close that the crowd are unable to tell which blow came first. They would only see the armless droid wobble, its internal balance mechanism destroyed.

It is an easy job to slice off its head. The droid crashes to the floor, now a useless heap of smoking metal. She kicks it out of her way with a smile, her lightsaber held loosely in her fingers. ‘One day I will see a Jedi at my feet just like that.’

The silence of the crowd was deafening…

His next creation was going to be a bit more ambitious. It wasn't as much as a defensive product as much as a proactive preventative one. He required a method to be able to null the Force, if for a brief amount of time. Seconds were all that it took to cross the brink of death and if he could somehow make his opponent, if it was a Force user, believe he had been cut off from the Force for a few minutes...

Well that would be pretty interesting indeed.

Force Drain and life drain were pretty dark corrupted uses of the Force. His father had explained them in detail, being blunt and direct about the risks those serve. The consequences that would follow. It was much in the same manner as Sever Force. It required a master of great skill and even then... who knew what could happen.

No, he didn't want something permanent. He wanted an item that he could use passively as well as actively. In essence, mind tricking an individual into believing they'd been cut off from the Force was a rather crafty idea indeed.

Now to find out how to apply it in an alchemical talisman.

Watching as the blaster was drawn, then leveled, Nerius used this time to swing a swipe at the woman's arm which held her saber...

Then came the unbelievable searing pain in his foot. Traveling swiftly up his leg, Nerius bit his tongue and her still groaned loudly. Blood began spurting out rapidly, leaking to soak into the ground.

But that wasn't where it ended. He would handle it after his attack was blocked or landed.

But Lilin wasn't the only person who thought of a surprising attack. While she was shooting the man, he seemed to have started an attack against her arm which held the saber. She didn't know what to do other than to drop the hilt and just bring back her hand as far away from where the saber's blade could hit her than possible.

Her eyes widened, it was a frightening situation. Her saber was not on her territory anymore which did not mean anything good.

"You're a good fighter," Lilin said, trying to sightly confuse the man. "But nowhere near perfection. Nowhere past infanthood. You're still weak."

Her taunts probably didn't have a lot of effect on the man, but she did use the time to back down and take steps backwards.

As Vengeance got to the capital building he slowed to a fast walk approaching the doors. A small detachment of guards had set up fortifying positions outside the building. He chuckled looking at them.

"You are insects to a flame you could not possibly handle." "Move aside or die where you stand."

Vengeance smiled shaking his head as one or two of them dropped there weapons and started to flee. He extended a hand towards them bolts of lightening sprouting forth until they lay dead in the street. Turning towards the others he smiled.

"They were cowards and they died like cowards." "You brave fools will know a quick death."

He crouched slightly before leaping into the middle of the group stabbing and slashing the remaining guards before jamming his saber into the lock on the front door of the building.
