I can't and won't stop you from speaking and stating your opinion, but if you insult people I won't engage with you.

Everyone is entirely entitled to their own opinion on this subject matter, and as Tefka already said the point is rather moot since there will be no changes to the Factory any time soon. Discussion however is always healthy.

Although still in a joking manner. If you can jokingly tell an Admin -- one of the highest ranking people on the server, if not the highest, to 'f*&k off'. How am I not allowed to make heated discussion involving minor discriminations against you. I see it as equal still. However I have stopped them. Just wanted to point this out.

Assuming you went with what I'd assume most people would say, rather then thinking of my angle (Very sly), they would of likely said "You (meaning me)" The person that they trust little that would make the most sense to them that stole it. After looking at me and blaming me for stealing your property, it's unlikely of them to let me in their house again.

So let me elaborate how this relates

You blaming me is the same as to everyone blaming the numbers. They are something easy to blame. When in reality they aren't that hard.
Would you trust me again is the same as to not doing doing ship building

In reality people are blaming other things. When all I believe your and everyone else's problem is the ability to understand their usefulness and how the system works. After all it's seldom of Younglings to build a lightsaber, if first they don't know how to use one.

Besides from an 'owner of this server' perspective you want diversity. You don't want everyone to do everything, people have to pick and choose. Why's the need to make ships different when your going to flood the system with all this different stuff, which in your eyes might be the better option now. Will result in signifigant major issues that poor [member="Tefka"] would likely have to deal with.

I rest my case.

I understand your point, but you're working off a false basis in this situation. I myself am well aware how the numbers work, I have used them to my advantage, I have made(Probably) some of the most powerful ships on the board at various points in time through the various systems we've had in the factory. I think there are more than a few people that can attest to the fact that I am well aware of how to game the system in terms of gun count, speed, maneuverability, etc.

I well understand how it works, as do others who have posted here asking for their removal. [member="Raziel"] for instance actually helped make the current system we use to create starships and he still advocates for it's change.

We're assigning "blame" to the numbers as you put it because we hold the opinion that they are an unnecessary complication in what is already a complicated system(Fleeting, using starships in RP, etc). We know that numbers can work. We know that they have in the past, but we also know that they are not necessary and in fact make things harder on the general public, as attested by several people saying so in this thread.
