Going minor?

We're not going minor just because we have some pressure being thrown our way by the Mandalorians now. We do our best and meet their challenge. If the Sith Triumvirate could beat and humble one of the largest active factions on the site, then I believe we can do the same against the Mandalorians with some good writing. Our current invasion has no time limit, so we have an opportunity to work on some good storytelling that we didn't have a chance to before with tight time constraints. It's only been a week, so there's still a lot of writing that can be done. As mentioned above, you don't have to make combat oriented posts. You fill a supportive role where you never have to engage with someone in PvP, and long as it contributes to the story. Don't worry about "winning" so much as being entertaining, even if it's you getting smacked up by a Mando or something. We don't have to worry about that anymore, have fun with it doing your thing.

Don't worry about the Mandalorians attacking us back to back, because I will be calling for the next invasion where we take the offense.

I have to object on this point for two reasons.

1. For the Mandos as they had said repeatedly the PvP is the story for them. To ignore that fact is ill advised.

2. The don't worry about fighting mentality is what cost us more than a few writers that could not only have given the Republic a fighting chance on the PvP side but made a vast improvement on the story as a whole.

Just like high jacking other peoples NPCs and having the act in the exact opposite manner the controlling PC just wrote them doing is also a very good way to kill an invasion both story and PvP wise. I would also be remiss if I didn't say the idea of Non combat participants in the invasion while a cool idea at first seemed less so as time went on.

It may have only been a week since this invasion started but I already miss the old invasion rules because this story based rule set seems to be going off like a fart in church.

Hate to say it but he's got a point. The PVP element is basically the point for the Mando's. You gotta do something to bring the Jedi back into the Republics fold as well as glorify the rank and file NFU types.

Player base you are sorely outnumbered, and that what it ultimately boils down to.

You gotta recruit.

You gotta have a theme change, or a strong attraction of some sort that will draw writers in.
