Cryax Bane
Red-eyed Snake

"Kteh!" cursed the Chiss in his native Csillan tongue, as he was cut off in front by a gang of salivating monsters. As they slowly advanced on him, fangs dripping with fresh blood, he was suddenly knocked down by another one of the plague beasts. Cryax landed on his tailbone with an "oof" and felt the back of his head crack on the pavement as it snapped back from the blow. The Rakghoul's hot breath in his face, the concussed Chiss struggled to free himself from the creature's grip, but its preternatural strength made the task impossible.
Finally he reached down into his boot, and as the creature snapped at his arm, he pulled out a vibroblade, flicking the switch on its hilt. With a swift blow, he sunk the humming blade right into one of the creature's eye sockets and twisted, his teeth gritted as he squeezed his eyes shut to avoid the ghoul's contaminated blood. If he was going to go down, he would take anything and everything with him.
As the Ravens crime boss heard the bellowing sounds of the demon king in the alleyway behind him, still struggling with the wounded Rakghoul, he did what he usually did in surreal situations such as this one. He simply looked back at the enormous monster and wearily wisecracked, "What took you so long? I thought you'd never get here."
