Grand Teth Auto! [Red Ravens Dominion of Teth]

As she landed next to him and started talking, Logan slowly beckoned for her to start running with him again. He didn't run at a full out sprint, but kept a steady pace so that they could exchange some words before they got they got to their destination. He nodded at her comment about checking up on Cryax."Yeah, it worries me too. He shouldn't have hit too much resistance unless he did something stupid. He had quite a few droids with him." he said to Keira as they ran.

He could see the faint outline of the roadhouse about two streets down and he tapped her on the shoulder and pointed at it. Underneath them there was still a horde of ghouls but it seemed to be slowing down now, their blood lust sated for the time. There were a few stragglers as they neared the Roadhouse and he launched himself off the building, using his jetpack to ease himself to the ground. He hit the ground and kept running, pulling his rifle out from over his shoulder. Even while running he was still able to take shots at the few ghouls around them, the bolts biting into them.

Cryax and his late mother laid there like that for a bit, simply waiting in the silence accepting that she was gone. Then a very familiar touch laid it's hand down on Cryax's back. It was the hand of [member="Jalek Sathora"], the pale hand wormed it's way up the Chiss' shoulders and shortly he was embraced in a from behind surprise yet comforting hug. "Shhhhh, it's okay love. I'm here and I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you. I'm here now." The voice gave way to half a face when the redhead moved forward to kiss his lovers cheek. Tightening his grasp on him like a warm and protective blanket Jalek smiled weakly and showed him that everything was going to be okay.

"She loved you so much Cry, it wasn't your fault. People just die. At least you were here for her when she went." His words added to his warm embrace gave soothing sensations of comfort and warmth. The young man moved around and knelt down to look at his lover in the eyes. He allowed him to keep hold of his mothers hand, he wouldn't dare separate the two. Reaching his own two hands forward the shaggy redhead went in and kissed Cryax long and passionately on the lips. It was a kiss of true love and affection

Though something odd happened while Cryax held his mothers hand. For just the slightest second it felt as if it had twitched slightly. The sensation quickly died out and the body remained at peace, eyes closed and resting forever

Once he jumped off of the roof she followed suit, cushioning her blow with the Force, lightsaber flying into her palm, the worn leather that wrapped the hilt one of few familiar feelings she had to enjoy, given their situation. The orange blade hummed to life at the first shot from his blaster, and she struck out at any ghouls that got too close, smiling grimly as she made contact, a few of them wising up and keeping their distance from the blade of superheated light energy, though many others still moved within her reach, much to their dismay. One way or another they would learn, and Keira was more than happy to show them her own definition of learning the hard way.

As they edged closer to the Roadhouse she spoke up once more, her gaze not straying to him, as her focus was on the creatures that were doing their best to find an opening in their defenses. "There's an underground bunker beneath the cantina. Once we get there we should be able to contact Cryax if his comms are still working and see what went wrong. Otherwise it's as good a place as any to make battle plans." She spun the saber in her hand when they were given a moment's reprise, one hand waving over the sensors to the door, it opening smoothly, much to her surprise.

Moving to stand in front of and slightly to the side of it only then did she turn her attention to Logan, otherwise striking at the ghouls when they attempted to get past her and through the door. "Get inside, and I'll cover you." Her tone didn't brook much argument, and it was clear that in that moment she didn't intend for anyone to play at being hero.

When he first felt the light touch of a hand on his back, Cryax involuntarily jumped sky high. But then he turned his head, and out of his peripheral vision he saw Jalek, standing behind him, enveloping him in a warm loving embrace. It was totally implausible that the red-haired slicer was there in the hospital room with Cryax, but desperate for comfort, he didn't complain about his boyfriend's sudden and unexpected presence. Nor did he try to puzzle together just where both of them even were? Antecedent? Bakura? It didn't matter anyway. Grateful for anything that soothed his aching soul, he returned his boyfriend's kisses and the Morellian's words wash over him.

"I know," he answered sadly, his glowing red eyes finally able to look towards his mother's body, cooling on the hospital bed. "I just wish I could have been a better son to her, but now I'll never get the chance." He searched the other man's eyes knowing that even if he didn't forgive himself, there would be forgiveness found there. As he yielded to his lover's kiss, he felt a slight tremor in the cold hand of his mother. Lost in his sorrow and his boyfriend's embrace, he chalked it up to some sort of cadaveric spasm or perhaps just his imagination playing tricks on him.

Another twitch went through the hand of his mother more clear and distinct this time. The Chiss' love looked at him in the eyes and spoke softly to him with his smooth and silky words "You did the best you could love. She was proud of you either way." He have him another soft kiss and sighed sadly afterwards. He still wore that same weak little smile and did his best to comfort Cryax, in a soft and gentle tone with a bit more assertion he spoke "Here let's get a doctor and get her out of that bed. She deserves a proper servic-" The shaggy redhead was quickly cut off by a hand that was no longer wrapped around Cryax's but instead was holding Jalek by the back of his neck.

"Help me Cry! Help me! He-" he was cut off again by a sickening crack of bone, a loud and audible crunch. The woman in the bed was now standing with a sick grin on her face. The body of Jalek hung limply in the air still attached to the hand of Cryax's mother. "Oh shut up." The voice rang out from his mothers lips, but it wasn't hers. It was demonic and evil, it was Dredge. "And here they say true love conquers all." Using Jalek's mouth as a sick little meat puppet he jostled his dead mouth up and down. "Save me Wretch, save me!" Throwing the dead body to the floor the small frail woman looked at Cryax now showing rows of jagged and horrific fangs.

"Do you want to know how she really died Wretch? Cold and alone, she died waiting for her son that never came." Dredge kept giving that tooth filled grin and laughed hues of demonic giggles. "SHE DIED ALONE AND IT WAS BECAUSE YOU LEFT HER!!" Dredge laughed over and over again. However if Cryax made any attempt to physically harm him it would be like punching a ghost. It would simply phase through

Cryax watched the horrific display once again play out before him, almost in slow motion. One minute he was basking in the comforting human touch of his lover, and the next, his Chiss mother had arisen from the hospital bed, her mouth a fanged rictus, her red eyes bulging with malice. She wrapped her hands around fake Jalek's head and broke his neck, the sickening crunch of bone searing through the silence. "NO!" Cryax shouted. The rational part of him had figured out that he was living in another nightmare, but it felt real and even worse, he was unable to wake up from it.

Then the broken young Chiss heard the familiar roar of his torturer coming from his mother's mouth. The sight of his dead lover hanging from her claws, his corpse abused by his mother's monstrous doppelganger, made Cryax tremor uncontrollably. His heart palpitating wildly he listened to the horrific accusations bellowed at him and the saddest part was that he agreed with Dredge. He was a terrible son, and his mother had died from a broken heart, abandoned by her baby boy.

All of sudden, Cryax felt nothing. No rage. No sadness. His mind simply folded into itself and found a place where everything was numb. He turned and stared straight ahead, his eyes unblinking, watching the empty bed where his mother's body had lay.

Dredge smiled watching the lonely Chiss break, it was so very fun to do. Dredge slunk to the floor shifting and changing into a form outside of the armor. He appeared as a bald Yuuzhan Vong with many tattoos sprawled on his chest an body, multie piercings and scars that flashed through the bare parts of his chest. He wore a revealing black robe that had the mid section cut out to reveal his tone and firm chest. It was average Yuuzhan Vong priest clothing and he wore the garb well. Dredge almost slithered towards Cryax with an evil grin plastered on his face taking one slow step at a time. Now was the time to strike

He approached Cryax not as the red eyed demon but what he had looked to be before the armor. "Cryax." He said softly in a tone that conveyed care and empathy. "I know it hurts Cryax. But I'm willing to help you." The room shifted from that hospital room to that of a room filled with Yuuzhan Vong shapers and massive womb like sacks of fluids. "You want your life back, your legs, your love, your mother." He said letting the last word draw out with emphasis on it. Dredge smiled and tilted his head at the chiss showing those jagged fangs once more

"I will give them to you Cryax. Every last one of them will be yours, all you must do is three little favors for me and I will return it all." Dredge slunked over to Cryax's left side and with a wave of a hand Cryax's leg vanished and where it had been severed earlier. "You can have it all Cryax, I'm a generous person. But if you wish to continue your time aboard my ship then we can certainly make that happen." He said with a bit of glee in his voice

As Dredge coaxed him with a soft, tender voice that he hadn't heard from the Yuuzhan Vong overlord yet, Cryax let the words register on his brain, but it took him a couple of minutes to slowly turn his head towards Dredge. With a dead-eyed glare, he stared at the inhuman creature who looked less imposing without his armor, but spine-chilling nonetheless. Finally the Chiss crime boss spoke, his voice still ragged from shredded vocal chords. "Sure, you can help me Dredge. You can help me by never forgetting that I will slit your throat in your sleep. I will end you, Dredge. And if I don't end you, the Red Ravens will."

Cryax's eyes suddenly narrowed and he hissed at the Overlord. "I don't want anything from you. You thought by now I'd be begging and pleading and genuflecting at your feet." He shook his head. "If you think that's happening, you've got the wrong Chiss. You've got me confused with someone who breaks." Then Cryax sprang from his seat and launched himself at Dredge, spazzing out like a wildcat, shrieking, clawing and sinking his teeth into Dredge's flesh.

LOCATION: The Streets
ALLIES: Not Ghouls
ENEMIES: Ghouls
OBJECTIVE: Survive, with a dash of revenge

Chiasa had taken off putting distance between herself and the ensuing firefight, and was in the midst of losing yet another of the creatures that had decided to tail her when a thought struck, and a smile slowly appeared on her face. The first downed man. He'd been taken down running with a detonator. The detonator was lost, but the cache of explosives was still there, and there were others scattered throughout the city, set up as distractions and fail safes. The chances of those with the detonators, she'd never have let one or even two people be in charge of all the explosions, they might have been caught, or traitors, still being alive and having both their comm units and detonators handy was next to nil which made things rather more difficult.

But not impossible.

There was one ability that she'd seen used and wanted. One that she'd practiced. And while she would not be sending all consuming green walls of flame at anyone, sometimes a little orange spark was all you needed. Of course she'd need to be close, her control wasn't that good, and she'd need to find a way to lure the creatures in close enough for the explosions to take out a decent number of them or what was the point but it was a better plan than she'd had a moment ago.

Besides, she was getting tired, angry and covered in.. it was better not to think about that. Seeing some of the other side burn would do wonders for her mood.

With a pleased noise in the back of her throat, she started heading for the nearest cache, since she wanted to lure them in she took a more direct route, abandoning her earlier stealth.

A sour and disappointed look dawned upon Dredge's face and he sighed in frustration, Cryax phased through dredge as if he wasn't even there. Probably because he wasn't, everything around Cryax was a mere illusion brought on by the Yammosk, it would serve as Cryax's prison for when Dredge allowed him to sleep. Physical torture it was then. "You disappoint me Cryax, very well then. Enjoy your stay, and welcome home." With a clap of his hands everything went black and the screams and moans of others being tortured joined Cryax in the real world of his cell. His leg was still missing and back severely shredding by the bladed flogging he had taken. "NO NO NO PLEASE NO NOOO-" the sound of a blade coming down on flesh and bone echoed out followed by a croaking death cry. He was back in hell and it was time for round two

"Wakey wakey Wretch! It's time to play!" A small Yuuzhan Vong child a little girl by the looks of her rattled a severed arm against the bars of Cryax's cell. The little girl had two massive Graug standing besides both with blaster rifles in their arms, the little girl wore a blood stained sun dress she more than likely had taken from the corpse of a slave. In her other arm she held a box of tools and she clutched onto it with with great pride and affection as if it were a bear or another form of stuffed animal.

"Strap him in the chair." The little Vong girl smiled and the door swung open to Cryax's cage and the two Graug were in the room removing their weapons to make sure Cryax had nothing to steal from them. The two hulking Graug were upon him lifting him into the air and placing the poor chiss in a heavy steel chair where he would be bounded to it by his remaining three limbs

The second the first stream of rounds finished spewing from the end of his rifle, his legs began to move full speed ahead. He huffed and swung his arms, gaining all the momentum that he could. He leapt into the air, driving both feet down as he drop kicked a ghoul that got to close. It got flung onto its feet and Logan slammed onto his back before he quickly rolled over, pushing him self up and kept running. He shot more rounds from the hip, not bothering to aim but just laying down covering fire as they neared the cantina and the horde thinned a bit. But there was still so many of them to kill or get rid of.

He burst through the door of the Cantina, sending it swinging on its hinges. He yelled over his shoulder to [member="Keira Ticon"] , "Inside! Now!". He held the door open, ready to slam it shut the second she got through. He threw his rifle into the back of the room and pulled the blaster from his hip, firing at any ghouls that closed in around the rogue Jedi.

Sending a final wave of the Force out towards any of the ghouls, which would hopefully distract them at the very least for the moment, Keira stepped back inside of the cantina, unsurprised to find it deserted. Anyone with even a small amount of sense would have evacuated once the conflict began, and would already have been long gone by the time the Vong and Rakghouls made an appearance. Soon enough they would figure out if the Hutt that owned the establishment had stayed put in the underground bunker, or fled the planet at the first sign of something going awry. For now, they had more important things on their mind.

The blade of her saber disengaged and she clipped it at her belt, sighing in relief that they'd made it off of the streets and to relative safety unscathed. "Let's never do that again." She smiled and shook her head, running a hand through her hair. Now that the most difficult part of it all was over, they had other business to focus on, primarily the location of one Cryax Bane. It was hard to say where he'd ended up after running off, but if he was anywhere on or near the planet, they would find him one way or another. The only question was when.

After a moment of silence she began moving about the cantina, searching for any sign of where the entrance to the underground bunker might be, starting at the most obvious locations and moving on from there. They were safe for the moment, but the bunker would be the final step in all of this.

Awash in misery with no idea if it was morning, noon or night, Cryax found himself on his back in his cell, with only sickening memories of the flogging and limb removal to keep him company. But not for long. The Chiss blinked his glowing red eyes at the new arrival. A small female Vong child, grinning at him like a tiny bat, brandishing a severed human arm and a box that made Cryax's stomach churn. He could only surmise her little toy box was full of torture instruments.

Chunks of flesh hung from his shredded back and the pressure on his wounds caused a fresh wave of torment as he was deposited roughly in the chair and bound. Struggling in vain against his restraints, he tried a different tactic, reasoning with the child. "Hey, little girl." he said. "You don't have to do this. Just let me go, ok? I'll play a game with you. One you'll like better than this. It's called Chess. Bet you've never played it before. We could make some pieces out of rocks. It'll be fun."

Cryax knew it was a shot in the dark, and this demented little child was most likely simply going to decapitate him in response. But perhaps he'd piqued her curiosity enough that she would at least let him live for a few minutes longer.

The little girl walked into the room and set the tool box down on top of the hard metal rack that was supposed to be Cryax's bed. The little Vong child fixed it's position to be nice, straight, and tidy. She was humming a small little happy tune when she popped open the box. Taking out what looked to be everything from sick dentist tools, saws, and construction tools the little girl laid them all out evenly on the rack. She kept on humming and that soon broke into a faint whistle. Taking the finishing touch from the box was a small jar of beetles and a long slick yet small amphistaff serpent.

The sinister serpent curled around it's master's shoulders and the little girl gave it a pet on it's slick black head and spoke "Hello Mister Bubbles, how are we today?" She said in a cheerful and happy tone. The little girl giggled and pet the snake again. "Why of course, the last one was no fun at all." The small child let the serpent rest on her little shoulders as she continued to organize things.

However hearing Wretch start to speak the little girl grabbed a long slick jagged and organic knife and held it up to her eyes to inspect it. It was dull and very rusty on the metallic edges of it. The little girl nodded and turned around to face Wretch. She put on the sweetest and most innocent smile she could then jammed the blade into Wretch's leg. With a solid twist counter clockwise she wrenched the knife and sighed leaving it inside of him as she let go. "Hello Wretch, my name is Samgrah Ukklar. But I prefer to be called Samantha. I will be your new best friend seven days a week. Now shall we begin?" She asked wretch with an honest to god smile on her face.

The door slammed shut behind [member="Keira Ticon"] as she ran into the building. He grunted heavily and turned to face her, "Agreed. Once in a lifetime is more than enough." He watched her as she slowly began rummaging around the room, not entirely sure what she was searching for. He was tired, beaten up and wanted off this damn planet. It wasn't even worth it at this point, but they had come far enough that turning back would be counter intuitive. He chewed at the dead skin on his lips for a moment before it struck him what she was doing. She was looking for the bunker. The chiss had told them where it was, but not how to get inside. He sighed almost inaudibly and strode over to the bar, reaching over it and pulling a bottle of what was advertised as "Spiced Caribbean Rum". He hadn't the faintest clue where the Caribbean was but it did well enough to ease his anxiety and pain as the murky brown liquid ran down his throat and into his stomach, the alcohol diffusing into his blood stream.

He was about to help Keira look for the bunker when...

[member="Dasha the Hutt"]

He slinked and slunk through the streets, his head swimming and singing as he practically skipped through a slurry of smashed skulls, squished cerebrum, skewered skin, and severed limbs. Man ,Vong, droid, and ghoul alike, all screamed, all bled, all killed, and all died. The damage and death, it all was more than he could of expected, it empowered him, invigorated him, enlightened him.

He stood, neither, knowing or caring who, the enemy was. He raised his rifle and gunned down all he could see, civilians, soldiers and rakghouls, all fell before him in his blinding, bliss filled release, before he could take more lives, it was time to leave.

He now stood aboard Lord Dredge’s vessel, awaiting the next chapter.

The little Vong girl organized her tools with an expertise that told Cryax the child was no amateur at the art of torment. Each tool she produced from her toy box sent a fresh wave of panic through the Chiss. Especially the karking beetles. Cryax had an irrational fear of insects, and as he saw the jar, his red eyes widened and he hissed through his teeth. Again he buckled at his restraints but it only wore him out.

As he suspected the little Vong child had no interest in playing any other game than the one she was currently playing. And as she whirled around with the knife in her hand, Cryax shook his head violently in protest. "Come on now, little girl. You don't have to do this this. You're just a child. You should be out there playing with other children. Just let me go and I'll..." His statement was interrputed by the searing pain in his leg as she sunk in the blade, and suddenly he was howling instead, the metal twisting into flesh and muscle eliciting a second round of shrieks from the Chiss.

Then the little demon child introduced herself so formally it almost made him cry out in manic laughter. As he caught his breath, shaking and sweating, he growled at the Vong child. "No, Samantha, we shall not begin. Here's what you're going to do.You're going to let me go, alright? First you're going to remove that knife from my leg, and then you're going to unbind me. You're going to stop this instant. Or I swear, on the Maker, I will hunt your family down and eat them all for breakfast."

[member="Cryax Bane"]

The little girl watched the Chiss spout off demands while he was tied to a chair and missing a leg. She tried her best not to laugh at the man but it was so very very hard not to. Small little giggles escaped her mouth and she smirked holding back what was likely a torrent of laughter. She recomposed herself and straighted her sun dress. "What's that Wretch? You want another knife to match?" She went over to grab another long sick blade identical to the first one. Grasping in her hand she made the short trip back to Cryax and stopped in front of him. "You really shouldn't be so greedy, it's not good for your soul." The little girl giggled again and flipped the blade downward so it reassembled a horror movie slash flic

She brought the knife down on Cryax's thigh where everything bellow the knee had been removed. The girl plunged the knife in and twisted it like the last one. She smiled in delight and looked up at Cryax as she pet her amphistaff serpent. She giggled as it licked her face and she still had on that same bright and happy smile most children her age wore. That of wonder and joy, whoever she was she spent a long tomr perfecting this act.

"Now listen here Wretch, I'm the one who gets to decide what games we play. And lord dredge says he wants certain information from you. So if you don't mind we are gonna warm up then start playing twenty questions!" The little girl said in a sweet yet assertive voice. The girl walked over to the jar of beetles and shook them a bit. The angry creatures hissed and clanged against the glass. There was over a few dozen in there and they looked angry. "I noticed you really liked these things when I took them out. Is there anything you want to say before you meet them? Maybe like the account numbers and passwords to all your personal and business accounts?"

Cryax roared with pain as the little Vong child pierced his flesh with a second rusty knife and twisted it into his leg until only the hilt was visible. "YOU. LITTLE. queen!" he screamed, between gulps of air. "I'm going to rip off your head and use it to play Bolo Ball, you karking menace!" Cryax violently shook himself against his restraints again and then hung his head in resignation. As she started speaking again in her eerie sing-song voice, he began to shake his head over and over again. Especially when she shook the jar of beetles, the creatures, hard shells clattering against the glass like maracas. Not the beetles. Anything but the karking beetles.

The Chiss rolled his head back in frustration. "I'm telling you, kid, just like I told Dredge. I don't have that information. I'm a karking figurehead. I make speeches. I don't deal with that day-to-day operational stuff anymore. Get it through your thick ugly skulls. I don't have the fething account numbers and passwords." While Cryax spoke his eyes kept flashing to the beetle jar and then back to the Vong child, and once he was finished he vehemently started trying to twist his body free again.

"Well that's not nice mister grumpy pants." The small Vong child smiled at Cryax taking both of the knives in her hands and looked up at him. "Now we are goin to make a little home for our friends so they can move out of that stuffy little jar and into a nice condo on the east side!" The little girl began to him the equivellent of the good time theme song when gripped the blades tighter and pulled them towards her slicing through flesh and bone for a good five inches of gashing wound. She giggled and went back to her tools smiling and humming that theme song. Looking towards the jar she picked back up again and walked over to Cryax with it.

"I have an idea wretch. A new question! Since I know you are lying to me. I will ask again." Opening the jar the little girl grabbed the silver dollar sized beetle and giggled slightly as she closed the lid with one hand and struggling to do both tasks. Grasping the beetle by the butt she held it over Cryax's freshly opened wound on his left side and smiled. "Notice how I said personal account? You don't know your own account and routing number? Now that's just sad. So same question. Business and personal accounts." She said still dangling the large beetle over his bleeding wound
