Heeding the Call (Raxian Empire Opening)

640c67881bed54c0469afa9150532412.jpg
Gray Raxis, Alor of Clan Raxis, has traveled to Doldur while following a lead after uncovering a plot lead by a mysterious person seeking to destroy the clan. Upon arrival on the planet, he quickly learns things are not as they seem. The people are under the rule of a tyrant in the aftermath of the collapse of the Techno Union. Criminal organization have taken advantage of the situation and are extorting out of the people what their tyrannical leader does not take. With the tyrant's droid army patrolling the streets and the muscle of the criminal organizations stalking the alleys, starvation and disease have started to set in for the poor people now trapped in their homes out of fear. A rebellion has been started by Gray in light of this discover and the call to all members and allies of Clan Raxis has been sent. It is the time to heed the call of Clan Raxis.......
===============================================================================================================================
Grand Moff Liarn stands looking out over the city from his throne room in the palace. His steely gaze taking in the sight of Kerioth, the capital of Doldur, and a smile crept to his hardened face. He had to bide his time while the Techno Union and other factions rose and fell while controlling the planet, but now it belonged to him. He had always heard his ancestor was the Imperial Moff Eisen Kerioth. The great moff had seen the planet as his personal territory, and had even had the capital city renamed after himself, but in the end he had been removed from his seat. Liarn would not allow the same to happen to himself. No, he would remain on his throne for as long as he saw fit and no one would be able to make him. Not this pesky rebellion. Not the appearance of an outside influence. Not even an act of the Force would work. He was beyond the control of everything now, and it was all thank to his new ally.

A knock on the door got Grand Moff Liarn's attention. He turned as it opened and saw the familiar robed figure of his ally. They wore robes that were a little tattered and worn. That made it difficult to tell if they once belonged to a politician such as a Republic senator, a religious nut, or was one of the types to wear them like tuskens or jawas. It did not matter though why they wore it, all that mattered was they were here to speak business. He strode forward as the robed person seemed to just glide across the floor towards each other. As he came close he said, " Greetings. Everything progressing smoothly on your end? It is all being handled perfectly on mine."

" Everything on my end is progressing as I wish for it to on my end, but things are not so perfect on your end." The mysterious person responded in an electronic muffled voice that could be male or female either. " I have discovered this rebellion is being led by Gray Raxis. If he has called in allies, then you will be in trouble. In fact, I would not be surprised if they break your control.....and break you."

Grand Moff Liarn frowned at his allies words. He said in a stern, unamused tone, " I do not know this man you speak of, and it matters little if he calls in allies. I will crush them as easily as I will crush him. Just keep those criminals of yours under control and continuing to keep the people from obtaining any supplies that I have not approved of off of the black market. Do that and soon enough you will have my army's support for your ambition."

" Very well. I leave handling this rebellion to your capable hands. But do not fail me Grand Moff." The robed figure said before turning and leaving the room. Grand Moff Liarn watched his arrogant ally leave. They had acted at the end as if they were the one in control, but they were not. The one in control here was him and it would remain that way. He cared little what his ally did so long as it did not get in the way of his own goal. He would own the system, and then he would march out upon those near his.

==============================================================================================================================
Gray stood at the rebels base camp a few miles outside of Kerioth. It was a small base with nothing more than what it needed to be functional. A barracks, an armory, a landing zone, and a storehouse for none combat goods. He was staring at the maps of both the city and the surrounding area that had been obtained for him. Things were getting more dire for the local people, and despite his best efforts alone, he would need to get them outside help. It was obvious that the government and the criminal organizations were working together. Nothing was getting in or going out that was not supportive to the goals of this Grand Moff Liarn. Something needed to be done to stop him, and it would be done if Gray had any say in it. The only problem he had was in trying to figure out how this mysterious person he was originally trying to find here fit into it all? He would need to find that out eventually, but for now all he could do was wait to see if anyone would answer his call......

Objectives:
-All Objectives will also be gathering information-

A) Aid the rebels in assaulting the droid patrols in various places throughout Kerioth to allow rebel troops to gain a foothold in the city.
 Provide relief aid to the local people by getting them much needed supplies such as food, water, and medicine.
C) Shut down the criminal organizations operations and obtain their goods for the rebellion.
D) Do your own thing in the name of Clan Raxis!

A) Be a god of war.

"We will funnel them into this point," Ardgal said, his finger pointing to the middle of the street, "When they are there we will spring the trap. Sharp shooters will pin the enemy down. The IEDs will disable the vehicles long enough for us to wipe out what is left. We move quickly and we can finish this before the enemy is able to send re-enforcements."

"But won't they be expecting that?" one of the volunteer leaders asked. He was a local shop keeper, but he had displayed great leadership so far. The people looked up to him so Ardgal made the man a temporary leader in this rag-tag army of volunteers.

"The ideal spot is here," Ardgal said tapping half a mile north, "There are three times as many sniper holds and wider space for us to pin them down. Here they will be a sitting duck. Caught off guard by the laziness that follows a high risk zone." The general knew it all to well; that feeling of 'all is well' after sucessfully navigating those danger zones. It was a lethal mistake. "And if they are expecting this, I have a few back up plans. Let's move, we have half an hour till we go red."

The men huddled in the dark warehouse broke, moving into position for the ambush. Ardgal shook his head. Shop keepers. Farmer boys. Grandfathers. Hunting rifles and old out of commission assault rifles and sharp shooter blasters. These men were not warriors. But they had heart, and that was what the general needed. Soon they would become part of the Raxis Army that would be needed to protect this planet and their homes. The general already had plans in place after this to help secure their holdings--and the livelihood of these men.

The Yaim'la was there, Basaba working to observe but she also supported clans that were offering some work for different things. basaba herself was standing there when she was working with the others on the ship to test and show off the mesh that have been working on a number of the things. The experimental mesh she wanted to get others in on while beskar smiths could work with them, the small jedi smoths who were developing a number of the bigger things before she spoke. "This is an interesting idea but I do recommend being careful should a mandalore be chosen or rise up." She knew there were murmurs but with all of the stuff surrounding daeth watch being everywhere and only getting to deal with them well... she didn't have much else to do besides work on projects.

Obj-a-ruin a droids day
Location-roof too waiting for patrol to pass

Stardust usually didn't work alone but for this job it was her zone being able to take on a group by herself without the risk of troops...just the risk of herself...which she knew she constantly did but after arriving with gray and learning of such a thing it enraged her...to see people suffer so much for the pleasure of one man..simply disgusting it was to her

Somehting got her back her back to reality...the sound of rolling treads...she looked down and hid seeing the droid patrol coming by..she needed to wait just a little longer...wait until that transport was close, she checked her armor and rolled her shoulders as she watched the transport nearing and....stepped off

She felt the wind whistle around her before she slammed through the roof of the transport "ehhhh hola Amigo's como estás? "she said before she activated her sabers and absolutely started destroying anything inside he transport as the droids outside positioned them selves pouting at the entrance and all sides

The kicked the door off and held her hands up"Wait wait wait....someone most a bot!"she said and through one out as the the droids watched it roll before she blew the back off of the transport hitting a few droids as they fired in her shields taking the brunt of the hits before she pulled the ravager out and shot once ripping a droid to pieces then another before holstering the shot gun and started shooting with her arm gun carry a saber in the other as she cstarted to cause chaos...maybe she would pull the bulk of the patrols to her...

Objective: B

Kay arrived in orbit above Doldur on The Free Lady. She had her pilot Terrac with her, as well as [member="Veiere Arenais"] and a few members of her security detail. [member="Gray Raxis"] had given her a short brief on what was going on here and what was needed. Tyranny. Oppression. Crime. And given that Commenor was a planet heavy in trade, it came at no surprise that she'd be called in to help.

The newly elected President needed to use a diplomatic meeting for her cover. But how to sneak the supplies in without them being seized?

"Veiere, we'll need to come up with a good plan before going in. I can maybe distract the Grand Moff for a little while. He'd probably just see me briefly before kicking me out. But how can we give the supplies out in the meantime? Land outside of one of the cities and pass the word along, in hopes that law enforcement doesn't hear about it?" No matter what they decided to do, there was bound to be plenty of risks to go along with it.

Personal Objective: Assist [member="Lady Kay"]

Veiere watched the world turn through the viewing platform of the freighters cockpit, Terrac seated in-front of him whilst Kay stood to his right speaking aloud her concern for the shipping of the medical aid to the common-folk. His left hand found his beard, elbow rested upon his right arm that was crossed over his chest and holding his draping Jedi robe around himself in what looked like a thoughtful stance whilst his gaze was distance, translucent even. This of course wasn't a mission sanctioned by the Order but rather Veiere partaking in the need of a close personal friend; turning to her he offered a brief smile in admiration of her eagerness to help support the people of the planet Doldur, while he knew nothing of the system himself.

"I suppose we should consider what we're needing to work around.." He spoke reluctantly whilst turning back to the screen and looking to the world; "What will the opposition look like down on the ground and what kind of law enforcement runs the world. Are they susceptible to persuasion through the practice of the Force or do we need to use a more conventional means of persuasion, credits per say. If we can at-least see to it that we dock in one of the larger hangars of the city, then perhaps your contacts can help us in its distribution...". These were of course a lot of if's and assumptions that the people down on the ground might be corruptible enough to work with, or dull-minded to tap into through the manipulation of the force, not something he preferred to do but for the greater benefit of the people it was a worthy risk to take. There was of course the fact too that he knew nothing about those that the now president of Commoner was expected to make contact with here; already she was going out of her way to tackle the galaxy single handed. It was only natural that Veiere accompanied here least she dig herself a hole too deep to crawl out of.

Objective: B

Kay actually didn't have all of the answers that [member="Veiere Arenais"] sought. Her briefing by [member="Gray Raxis"] was just that....brief. As far as she knew, the Grand Moff was a tyrant and oppressed his people, ruling them with fear and mass control over every aspect of their lives, right down to how little food and water that they were allowed to have.

"First thing's first, my friend. We have to be able to get down there first. No doubt there will be eyes on the skies with regards to anyone coming in." An idea struck her at that moment. She remembered hearing stories of such a feat and it was possible that this could work. "What if we piggybacked on a larger vessel coming in and go silent. We could remain attached until we were low enough to clear sensors. Then we could park in a large warehouse."

She chewed the inside of her cheek. "I could take one of the shuttles down and try to distract the Grand Moff with a....diplomatic visit. And in the meantime, the supplies that we have on board could be distributed to the people. I'm not sure what Gray has planned or who else he's called in for help, but he could welcome the distraction. And who better to meet with one ruler of a planet than another? I'm sure that he has a big ego, as most tyrants do. I could play on that to make him none-the-wiser." Of course that would put her in danger too. She might need the help of more people than just her bodyguard.

Obj--A/D; destroy the droids

The volunteers in the warehouse quickly fanned out, going to their sniper positions along the windows, roofs, and hidden crannies. Ardgal grabbed his disruptor rifle and made his way to the top of the roof overlooking the entire kill zone. He belly crawled to the edge of the roof and peered over its top edge, waiting for the enemy to come into view.

The convoy came around the corner, trundling through and the General tumbed his rifle active. He felt the familiar warm humm as the weapon's power cartridge and firing mechanism prepared for the fight. Looking down sights, Ardgal could see the droids on the speeders and in them. They were completely oblivious to the hell they were riding into. The eerie calm settled in, the last few moments of peace on the battlefield before the world destroyed itself. For some, for many, this was the last taste of peace they would ever have.

The lead speeder rolled right over the IED, rocking the air with a massive explosion. The glass windows shattered with the force, a shockwave went down Ardgal's spine making his eyes water. He blinked the tears away as he saw the speeder collapse, a burning husk.

The firefight broke out, blaster and slug thrower shots from the surrounding buildings tore at the speeders and guard droids, the guard droids returned fire with extreme prejudice. Ardgal sighed. Droids were manning repeating blasters mounted to the tops of the speeders. His orders had been clear; take them out first. But instead, most of the untrained militia was firing wildly, incurring unneeded losses. The general fired once, slotting the first one. He moved down the line, picking off the guards as fast as his finger could pull the trigger.

Objective: C

Gray continued to survey his maps and frowned as he did. The area surrounding the city was secure for the most part. The only area they couldn't secure was the barracks housing the droid army and their mechanics to the northeast of the city and the personal dockyard of the Grand Moff that housed his personal fleet to the north of the city. The rest of the planet had rebel cells following orders to keep enough pressure to keep the garrisons there to stay but not enough to encourage more droids be stationed or the city handed over. The rebels had taken a few early on, and the results were not good. The city broke into a civil riot afterwards with the criminal elements looting everything not bolted to the ground, and then after they vanished. There was no time for them to have reacted to it though, because the Grand Moff's fleet carpet bombed them into oblivion. So Gray's orders to those cells was to avoid any more lose such as that, and now the capital was the city with the real pressure on it which seemed to be working so far.

The rebels might be holding and actually advancing now on the military level, but the issue that bothered him was that the criminals and the government were clearly in a symbiotic relationship. They could deal with the military all day, but the criminals made it so all that effort in the end would come with a major price of some kind. The rebels in essence had a two sided war, and Gray did not like that. Vigilantes were running rampant but while brave souls they didn't last long. There was no ground made on dealing with the criminals either, and until they could push them back there was no winning this war. So since things on the military side were covered for now, he was going to hit the criminal side and hit it hard.

Gray began to turn and head towards his ship as he got out his communicator. He said over it as he walked as fast as he could directing the call to [member="Ardgal Raxis"] , " Ardgal, you are in charge of the forces. Continue with securing the city and eliminating the droid forces. I am going to deal with the criminal organizations. Contact [member="Stardust Raxis"] and figure out some kind of plan of action. With that, I now officially hand it over to you." He ended the message there and continued on his way. He needed to get himself set up to fight the thugs and thieves now. With them gone, they might be able to actually hold whatever they took from the droid army. He just wasn't sure yet what he would run into out there.

Objective C

The price of war

Her b-wing Dropped out of orbit above the world. The alor of her clan had brought her here and coincidently so did a bounty. She didn't care for anyone else just the high priced target. Any she hits on the way is just a bonus to the pay check. The ship would make the slow decent to the world shaking about upon entry. The guns in the cockpit would rattle around till she finally leveled out. Her targets where at the palace but for some reason the moff was to be left untouched. It was like saying you could have the jewels just not the crown. Still nothing stated she couldn't toy with the man driving him into those final moments of fear. As she came into land Cynthia would contact gray to make herself known and her purpose. "G. Ni ganar nynir mar eso bal Ni cuyir slanar at tsikador ner kak at nynir satagr. Ni malyasa'yr gotal'ur warye bic b morut'yc at nari nahye o'r sulye saryr, a Ni liser va srusala Ni malyasa'yr va ur'asa ker." She said in the mando tongue. "narir va o'er. Ni ganar haa'taylir ibac kucj cuyir gurire! risida. Bid Ni malyasa'yr gotal'ur warye kaysh nalya oyayc katkta va kaysh srava'ya a buruk. A mhi bintar kar'taylir ibac cuyir omtu va. Ohh biai nuhur bic malyasa'yr cuyir at haa'taylir meh kaysh surwearoe tid kak."

Her ship would soon land atop of a build that had a flat roof and boards covering the edges. She could see from where she was sat that there where ample of gaps she could use to scout the exterior of the palace. She'd pull on the handle to release the catch in the cockpit. It would swing open and bounce once making he cockpit rock slightly. Her seat would move all the way to the back exposing both her shotgun and sniper rifle. Leaning them both against the side Cynthia would stand up putting her leg over the side and taking a firm grip of the rifle. "A'yaou Ni ohira, narir Ni ne'waadas at kar'taylir mayen. E'yatida'yagr bat ibic naritir ra cuyir bic vahu'aya'iye at ibic kusa'yr o'r ca'nara?"

Translations
«Gray. I've hit ground side and I'm going to ready my self to hit the palace. I'll make sure it's safe to move straight in after, but I can't promise I'll not decorate the walls.»
«Don't worry. I've seen that the moff is off limits. So I'll make sure he remains alive unless he presents a danger. But we both know that's unlikely. Ohh how fun it will be to see if he craps himself.»

«Before I start, do I need to know anything. Intel on this place or is it an unknown at this moment in time?»

[member="Lady Kay"]'s idea of using a larger ship to cover for their entrance into the planet was fine providing that they were able to avoid popping up on their external scanners, Veiere was far from knowledgeable in these things but even the lame knew that all vessels had both external and internal senses that kept watch for foreign entities closing in on and around their proximity. "If Terrac can avoid us showing up on their radar then certainly..." He nodded briefly, crossing his arms over his chest and burying his arms into either sleeve.

"I will do all that I can to support you but the idea of you walking alone into this Grand Moff's place doesn't exactly reassure me..." He gave a quiet little chuckle and a shake of his head in dismay, soon lifting a hand before she might argue, "But of course you will do as you please and I will be wherever you need me most...". He grinned still, though hoped that Kay would not get in to deep over her head. Ever since they'd met and she'd revealed her need for getting personally involved in any conflict she could hope to mediate, Veiere had grown to naturally worry for her health. Not just as his position as her bodyguard and advisor but for the share fact that she seemed to jump in front of a blaster more often than most Jedi.

"Out of curiousity, in this plan of yours, where might you want me...-Personally, I'd walk in there beside you though I doubt this man would be comfortable with someone of my nature wandering in at the side of the new Commenori President. It might give off the impression that the Republic has sent someone to intervene...".

Kay smirked at [member="Veiere Arenais"] as he chuckled and then pointed out her stubborness to her. Yes, she was wilful to a fault at times and preferred to put herself into potential danger too, rather than just be someone sitting in a chair barking orders. But...she was also a President, looking out for an entire planet. So there was some things that she couldn't do anymore. Like going anywhere potentially dangerous on her own.

"I'd like you to come with me. It is normal for world leaders to have protection and you are a part of mine. Besides, he could be weak minded and be swayed. As for how we can elude sensors...I think that I know someone that could help us with that."

She went to the console and recorded a message for [member="Denn Ralto"] , a smuggler that she had come across at the Graveyard. ~Greetings, Denn, this is Kay. I'm over in the Doldur system and I was wondering if you could help me smuggle in some food and humanitarian aid. There are...a few obstacles in our way, but with your expertise, we might be able to pull it off. You'll be paid of course. Let me know as soon as you can. Thank you."

And now to wait. Patience was a virtue and she wanted to be sure that her plan was as foolproof as possible.

There was chaos and Basaba was moving with her attention on some of the bigger things here. The mandalorian stayed with a few of the other sisters when she was letting the mesh rest there while working with some of the equipment for the others with her. She moved following up and adding to the chaos with the toolkit when it was shifting what they could do before she selected different ones. She had the flamethrower ready on one as the acid thrower was selected. "Change fire modes." She said it as they switched the multipurpose rifles over from blaster to caster with the slug being wrapped in the energy to impact against the things they were fighting. She could see a twi'lek mando as well as one or two others but didn't worry to much about it.

Secondary Objective: A or C

Denn sat up abruptly, his eyes snapping open at the high pitched pinging from the speaker mounted in the bulkhead. It was one of the many features he'd self installed that he regretted more than half the time. He'd installed an instant alert system for incoming messages, even going so far as to set up a small message panel by his bunk so he could be notified and respond while enjoying the comfort of his rough, shelf-like bunk. He pressed a small button on the wall panel, the incessant alarm ceasing. With a sigh, Denn closed his eyes, savoring the waning moments of rest. Rolling his shoulders and letting loose a yawn, he swung his legs off the bunk. He planted his feet on the cold durasteel floor, recoiling for a moment before grunting and standing up. Denn stood an even six feet tall, his shoulder length dark hair a bit of a mess. He ran his fingers through his beard and sighed. Time to get a move on. Denn slid on a pair of pants, letting the suspenders clipped to the waist hang loose. Reaching into a small metal dresser, he removed a rough cotton shirt and slid it over his head. Then, shaking his head, he reached down and stretched the suspenders over his shoulders.

"Almost there..." He grumbled.

He took a seat once more at the foot of his bunk, sliding on his leather boots. Now he was ready. Standing and heading towards the door, he retrieved his gunbelt from a peg near the door and wrapped it around his waist, being sure to tie down the holster which gripped his DE-10 Blaster pistol. Arriving at the cockpit, he plopped down into the seat of his ship, the "Genesis" or 'Ol Jenny' as he'd gotten used to calling her. She was a stout little ship, large enough for what Denn had needed anyway. He brought up the message, an audio tone chiming before the recorded message began.

:: Greetings, Denn, this is Kay. I'm over in the Doldur system and I was wondering if you could help me smuggle in some food and humanitarian aid. There are...a few obstacles in our way, but with your expertise, we might be able to pull it off. You'll be paid of course. Let me know as soon as you can. Thank you. ::

Denn raised an eyebrow. Lady Kay huh? It was a pleasant surprise. He'd met her on Graveyard, at least that's what they were calling it. He'd met a few friends that day. He'd heard from them every now and then but this message was something else. A job? He looked over his shoulder, first left, then right. He smirked. Yep, looked like she was asking if he wanted a job, and he had to admit, he'd been hard up for work lately. Sure, he'd had the regular courier jobs and a few debt collection gigs but that was only enough to keep his ship in the air and food on his plate. He'd burned all of his savings getting Ol' Jenny spaceworthy and patched up after Graveyard, plus a few interior modifications. Clearing his throat, he pressed a button on the console, preparing to record his response. Almost frantically, he reached over and flipped another switch, a crypto-computer whirring to life.

"Well, look who it is. Smuggling eh? Even the good guys need one from time to time I see. Nice to hear from you Miss Kay." He paused, dead air filling the recording momentarily. "Lucky break I guess, I'm just a short jump away, had to wrap up some business on Rodia. I'll be needin' to know the pickup, drop-off locations and a few more of the details. You can send me the data via secure channel if you wish."

He reached up, pressing another button to end the recording. Sending the transmission spinning through the crypto machine and transmitting automatically. He let his body sag in the pilot's chair for a moment before sitting back up as he began to manipulate the controls of his ship with a practiced efficiency. His main systems roared to life, a deep thrumming filling the ship as the engines began to prime themselves for hyperspace travel. He didn't have coordinates yet, but he anticipated his would receive them soon. Adjusting the gunbelt to a more comfortable position on his hip, he strapped himself into the seat, running a few more pre-jump checks and getting his systems ready for whatever awaited him. He'd be ready for a jump as soon as he'd gotten a reply.

Kay heard the message sent by [member="Denn Ralto"] and smiled. Good, he was in the area. She patched through the coordinates of where The Free Lady was in orbit. All of the other details she'll give to him once he had arrived.

She looked to [member="Veiere Arenais"] and grinned. "Looks like we'll have some help at least. After Denn arrives and starts to get the supply run under way, we'll be able to distract the Grand Moff and see if he can be swayed into being more lenient with his people. He has to realize that oppression always fails in time. History has proven that tine and time again."

And with the Raxis Empire already answering the cry for help, it wouldn't be long before this tyrant lost his seat.

Objective: Support [member="Lady Kay"]

'He has to realize that oppression always fails in time. History has proven that time and time again.'

This remained in mind a time after she had said it, he had offered a nod in response to Kay though couldn't help but think that such things were how wars were started and as the head of Commenor, he hoped that this would not be the beginning of another. What happened on Mimban and Gyndine had already been too close for his liking, to her new world. "If this man is a grand moff, what are the chances of reinforcements on their end..." He asked curiously, glancing down to the front of the cockpit controls and searching for the external scanners. Seeing that the readouts remained clear, he turned back to look out through the front viewing screens, shoulders relaxed as was his general mood; not of one expecting to be thrown into a fight as he did.

It was not that Veiere was focusing on the negative but rather keeping his mind open to all circumstance that he might imagine coming their way. Rarely did things ever go exactly as planned and with so many lives on the line and opportunity for failure, he would likely remain poised and on alert for the remainder of the mission from the moment they stepped off of the Free Lady, to the time they were back on board and departing the system.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Objective: B

[member="Veiere Arenais"] asked a good question. No doubt he was thinking about it for a time. Kay followed his gaze. So far everything was clear. The Free Lady was small and insignificant, floating in orbit, yet far enough away to not be deemed as an imposing threat.

But it wasn't as though they had arrived completely alone. "[member="Gray Raxis"] and others of the clan are here. I'm not entirely sure of what their plans are." Kay looked to Veiere. "Do you think that going to see the Grand Moff is unwise?" No doubt the Jedi felt that her being away from Commenor was unwise, not to mention marching headlong into trouble.

Obj - A/D Fight droids.

A volley of E-web blaster fire hurrled itself at Ardgal's position. The general recoiled just in time to avoid the barrage. Flecks of molten duracrete and stone sailed through the air.

"That's a good copy, stardust," Ardgal said into his ear comm. He reached onto his gauntlet and depressed a button. A series of explosions tore through the streets, filling the air with smoke and debris.

Ardgal wasted no time clipping a repel line to exposed rebar. His legs sprang, hurling Ardgal over the edge of his perch into the foggy air. The Mandolorian twisted in the air, his rifle blazing with shots. Fire roared from what remained of the convoy. Rogue blaster shots from what remained of his volunteers tore through the air, ripping more metal carnage through the air.

The god of war charged through the cross fire. His rifle blazed as his feet pounded the duracrete. A droid reared it's rifle at the mandolorian, Ardgal kicked it down before shattering it's head with his rifle butt. He scaled the side of one of the burning tanks. The droid perched on its E-web pivoted to attack him but was seconds too late. Ardgal pressed his rifle into its chest and pulled the trigger. It's smoking carapace clattered to the ground.

"Sir, enemy reenforcements incoming," one of the commandos from Alpha company reported.

"That's a good copy," Ardgal echoed reloading his rifle. "Prepare phase 2."

"Roger."
